Suarez to America
David Beckham is hoping to lure Luis Suarez to Inter Miami CF.
The Manchester United and Real Madrid icon is the co-owner of the franchise, who will enter the MLS as of 2020.
And Beckham is keen to bring in some top talents to start life as a professional club with, with Edinson Cavani linked.
Cavani’s Uruguay team-mate Suarez is also top of the list, per Mundo Deportivo.
Whether Inter Miami could afford the forward to sign him is another matter, with Suarez reportedly on nearly £300,000-a-week wages.

Ivan Rakitic
Ivan Rakitic is staying at Barcelona despite interest from Juventus, report Marca.
The Turin club enquired about the Croatian this week but have been rebuffed, the Spanish outlet say.
Rakitic doesn’t want to leave the Nou Camp.
It is claimed Barca have rejected Juve, Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United among others.
Rakitic remains key to Ernesto Valverde’s plans this season.

PSG’s Neymar fear
Paris Saint-Germain doubt that they will get the money they want for Neymar from either Barcelona or Real Madrid.
Spanish publication SPORT claims that PSG are worried neither of the two teams in for Neymar will actually be able to afford him.
The French club are keen to recoup the money they spent on the forward two years ago, when they broke the transfer record to spend £198million on him.
And both Barca and Real Madrid have spent heavily already this summer.

Real Madrid Neymar bid
Paris Saint-Germain have apparently rejected a three-player bid for Neymar from Real Madrid.
L’Equipe say the La Liga giants offered £100million plus Gareth Bale, James Rodriguez and Keylor Navas in an attempt to get the French club to do business.
But PSG are claimed to have rebuffed the offer.
The report claims Real Madrid, Barcelona and Juventus are all in the running for the Brazilian.

Rafinha loan
Barcelona are planning to loan out Rafinha but want him to sign a new contract first.
That’s according to Marca, with Barca thinking a loan move can increase the player’s value in order to cash in next summer.
The 26-year-old’s current Nou Camp deal expires next summer and Valencia are considering a move to sign him on loan.

Ousmane Dembele
Ousmane Dembele’s agent insists the winger does not care if Barcelona sign Neymar.
The Brazilian could return to the Nou Camp this summer and give the Frenchman extra competition for spots out wide.
But Moussa Sissoko told RMC Sport: “He doesn’t feel at all threatened. When you play at Barca, you expect to be in competition there.
“Neymar or another, he does not care about that, he only cares about what he has to do.”
Neymar sends Barcelona fans wild
Barcelona supporters have started to get excited as they feel Neymar has dropped a transfer hint on Instagram.
The 26-year-old liked a video of Lionel Messi returning to training.
And Barcelona fans are desperate to see former hero Neymar return to the Nou Camp.
“Neymar liked it – you know what that means,” one supporter wrote. “Neymar, come home already.”

Paul Pogba bid
Real Madrid will make a bid for Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba this week after their interest in the Frenchman grew in the last few days, claims transfer expert Ian McGarry.
McGarry says it is very unlikely Real will be able to move out enough players to be able to make room for Pogba, but says nothing should be ruled out.
“We told you on Friday’s podcast our information was Madrid were going to make a bid for Pogba this week,” McGarry said on the Transfer Window Podcast.
“That’s only become stronger in the last two to three days and from the contacts we speak to with regards to what’s going to happen.
“Madrid are a club who believe that they, when they come in for a player, and the player wants to move, that that’s what usually happens, and that’s fair enough. I do believe there will be a bid from Madrid this week.”

Neymar blow
Barcelona may have left it too late to get a deal over the line for Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar.
Neymar looks set to stay at Paris Saint-Germain despite heavy interest from former club Barcelona, claims French football expert Jonathan Johnson.
“At this moment in time I’m not sure I can see him going to either [Barcelona or Real Madrid] before the end of the transfer window,” Johnson said on Sky Sports News. “I think he may well end up staying in Paris by default.
“Barcelona have left it very late to pull off a transfer of this size given their financial problem.
“Real Madrid have never really been as set on bringing Neymar in as Barcelona have. So at this moment in time I think it looks more likely that he stays in Paris.”

Christian Eriksen latest
Tottenham should cash in on Christian Eriksen if he wants to leave the club this summer, says former Spurs goalkeeper Paul Robinson.
The Denmark midfielder has entered the final year of his contract and is open to a fresh challenge elsewhere with Real Madrid, Barcelona and Juventus all possibilities.
“I’d be surprised if they do keep hold of him due to the fact that he still hasn’t signed his contract that he has been offered,” Robinson said.
“The chairman has obviously put a price tag on his head and they have to get value for money. If he’s not going to sign a contract then they have to cash in.”

Neymar latest
Paris Saint-Germain have rejected Barcelona’s latest offer for Neymar, which would have been worth a whopping £172m.
That’s according to Spanish outlet Cadena Cope, who report that Barcelona offered a season-long loan deal with a mandatory purchase option.
The Spanish club are believed to have offered up an initial payment of £36million for a one-year loan with an obligation to make the deal permanent for £136m.
Neymar, 27, remains desperate to leave the Parc des Princes with Real Madrid and Juventus also looking to snare his signature.

Neymar stance
Neymar has his heart set on a return to Barcelona, but the reason he has remained silent amid increased transfer speculation is because he would also welcome a move to Real Madrid.
That’s according to a report from ESPN, which stated players at Real Madrid have contacted Neymar to insist he would not face a hostile welcome.
The Brazilian has reportedly made it clear that he wants to leave Paris Saint-Germain this summer, with Barcelona keen to re-sign their former star.
But ESPN suggest Real could hijack negotiations between Barcelona and PSG.

Wanted: Kai Havertz
Liverpool are interested in signing Bayer Leverkusen star Kai Havertz next summer.
Havertz, 20, has long been on Jurgen Klopp’s radar and the deal could finally take place with German website Sport1 claiming this will be his final season with Leverkusen.
The German international boasts an incredible record in the Bundesliga having registered 17 goals in 34 appearances last season – and he’s already up and running in the 2019/2020 campaign.
Sport1 think Havertz will cost around £92million next summer with several European heavyweights looking to secure his signature.
Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester City, Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal are among the main interested parties.
Mario Mandzukic?!
Barcelona are showing interest in Mario Mandzukic.
Mandzukic, 33, was tipped to join Manchester United earlier this summer – but a deal failed to materialise.
Now, Italian newspaper Tuttosport claim Barcelona could listen to a swap deal with the forward heading to La Liga and Ivan Rakitic moving the other way.
Mandzukic made 33 appearances for Juventus in all competitions last season – scoring 10 goals and providing a further seven assists.

Ronaldo retirement?!
Cristiano Ronaldo could time on his playing career in the next 12 months.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner is showing no sign of slowing down on the field having scored 28 goals in 43 appearances for Juventus last season.
“I don’t think about that,” Ronaldo told TVI on Tuesday. “Maybe I can finish my career next year… but I can also play up to 40 or 41.
“I don’t know. What I always say is to enjoy the moment. The gift is excellent and I have to continue to enjoy it.”

‘Neymar would be a great signing’
Former Barcelona star Rivaldo believes the Spanish champions are in for a difficult season.
But believes the arrival of his compatriot Neymar will help and Barca fans will accept his return despite his antics during the 2017 transfer to PSG.
“It’s obviously very early in the season but the weekend loss to Bilbao is the first warning that Barcelona have a tough season ahead. Adding to that, the team have been unfortunate with important attacking players getting injured.
“In a moment like this, of course Neymar would be a great signing for Barcelona, despite all that happened after his departure and with some people against his return, but I think he could be a big help and with his excellent football, he would end up convincing everybody.”

Neymar announcement plan
Barcelona have commissioned Nike to produce extra replica kits, because they believe they are close to completing Neymar’s return from PSG.
That’s according to Catalunya Radio, who claim that Barca have already set the wheels in motion regarding Neymar’s announcement.
According to the station, the club has prepared an announcement video to be shared on the club’s social media channels.
They still have some work to do on a prospective deal, however.

Juventus negotiations
Barcelona and Juventus are in talks over a potential swap deal involving Juan Miranda and Daniele Rugani.
Italian website Tuttosport claim negotiations between the two parties are already underway with Juventus eager to snap up the services of teenage defender Miranda.
It’s claimed Maurizio Sarri’s side are prepared to send Rugani the other way.
Tuttosport also report that Juventus have used the discussions to enquiry about the availability of Luis Suarez and Ivan Rakitic.
The Neymar deal
Barcelona are preparing their latest offer for Neymar, according to reports in Spain and there’s hope it will be enough to bring him back from Paris Saint-Germain.
The package proposed by the Catalans is the option of a two-year loan, but in the second season there would be an obligation to buy.
That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who have reported that the fresh offer has been made by Barca because they are in a rush to sign the star.
Barcelona have informed the French club of their intentions and are prepared to explain further details of their offer if necessary.
They would have to pay the transfer off within two years of Neymar moving to the Camp Nou for a second time.

Sad about Phil
Brazilian legend Rivaldo believes Lionel Messi was central to Philippe Coutinho failing to produce his best for Barcelona.
Coutinho joined Bayern Munich on a season-long loan with an option to make the deal permanent having underwhelmed at the Nou Camp.
“I’m a little disappointed about his failure in gaining a regular place in the first team, but perhaps he was no longer confident about it and unhappy, so he opted for a move to another big club trying to finally recover his best football from his time at Liverpool,” Rivaldo told Betfair.
“It’s never easy to find your space in a team where Lionel Messi constantly takes all the credit and responsibility. There are few players in the world capable of reaching such situation and imposing themselves, and maybe Coutinho didn’t have enough patience to find his spot in the team.
“The Argentinian star is the team leader and will keep playing at his best level for about three or four more years, so it is difficult to see other players shining at their best at Barcelona.”

Neymar + Ronaldo = greatness
Neymar and Cristiano Ronaldo could form an electric partnership at Juventus.
That’s the opinion of former Barcelona star Rivaldo, who believes the move would be beneficial for both players.
Real Madrid and Barcelona were considered the only two interested parties in the battle to sign Neymar – but Maurizio Sarri’s side have entered the frame in recent days.
“It now seems like Juventus are also thinking about signing Neymar,” Rivaldo told Betfair. “It would be great to see him playing alongside Cristiano Ronaldo. I believe it would be wonderful for CR7 to have Neymar by his side, as the Brazilian would help him a lot with assists and goals all season.
“I even imagine them combining for brilliant plays and Neymar could also help by sharing responsibilities as Juventus only has one big star now. It would be a beneficial move for the players and naturally for the club.”

Christian Pulisic snubbed Manchester United
Christian Pulisic decided not to join Manchester United because of Jose Mourinho, according to the midfielder’s former coach.
The Red Devils were believed to be interested in the American, but he eventually joined Chelsea instead.
And Brackley’s youth coach Robin Walker has opened up on why Pulisic picked Chelsea with Mourinho to blame.
“I’m a Chelsea fan, I grew up in London supporting them,” Walker told The Telegraph. “When I was in Dortmund last year, I told him that he had to come.
“He wouldn’t go to Manchester United because of Jose Mourinho. His father couldn’t stand Mourinho, because he didn’t promote young players.”
