Lo imponente que es la escena de Nando y Roberto cruzando la cordillera, mientras la toma se abre y vemos la inmensidad de las montañas. I just finished the Wano arc, and I gotta say it was absolutely fantastic from start to finish.

It is one of the best arcs in One Piece and my personal favorite so far (but then again, I love when shows add cultural elements and folklore in their stories).

I really had a really good time watching it

Update!!

I was so lost in the excitement to start drawing that I forgot for a second that I live in latinoamerica and thus I have to face latinoamerican problems such as loss of internet connection as well as sudden and long lasting electricity cuts. Anyways! I was finally able to finish the initial sketches of what Kalim’s outfits could look like, I’m kind of sad that I won’t have enough time to make more than 3 outfits thanks to the mentioned electricity cuts and how close Kalim’s actual birthday is, but I’ll do my best to have it ready for that date! I would like to thank @rooksamoris again for the help with the Yemeni outfit (also Happy late Birthday!) and I hope I understood your instructions, please do let me know if i have to make any corrections. I don’t have full access to my pc during Sundays but I’ll try to advance with the background and the pose as much as I can today so that I can finish this on time!

Again, i would like to thank the constant 6-hour long electricity cuts for happening out of nowhere for the past couple of days and making me lose my progress multiple times for these sketches leaving me with barely any time for the actual final drawing, you're so funny bestie omg!!! <3333 /j

With that said, i plan on adding all the little details once i'm 100% sure that i'm on the right track, in the meantime i'll try to start with the backgrounds and Kalim's body (because i have to animate his eyes blinking for the outfit change). These are just sketches to guide myself on the outfits btw, the final art is intended to look like an SSR Card/Groovy and will have an artstyle more resembling of Yana Toboso's to fit the game's aesthetics, that's why i gotta start now if i want it to be as detailed as possible (hopefully!!! i won't have to deal with more electricity cuts!!! at least let me save next time!!!)

Kalim's Birthday Fanart

As some of you may be aware already, for each twst character’s birthday i tend to make art of the birthday boy to celebrate, and my plan for this year was to use said art to promote different charities and local stores from countries in need. The next birthday on the list is Kalim’s and I wanted to make it special to promote a lot more charities than usual in a single post for the following countries: Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine, Syria, Turkey, Tunisia and Yemen (I wanted to include Sudan as well, but I’m not sure if it would be okay to do so given the fact that it’s in Northeast Africa, either way I’ll be making another special art piece focused on African countries for Leona’s birthday but I really want to add Sudan to Kalim and Jamil’s art as well, please do let me know if that’s alright).

My plan for these is to put Kalim in these countries’ different traditional clothing (yes, all of them if possible, I like to put the boys in at least 2 different outfits for their birthday and I don’t mind putting them in more if given enough time), and while I’ve found something in my investigation I also feel unsure of how accurate said information is, as well as the fact that I haven’t been able to find good reference for each article of clothing (most pics I’ve found are low res and I can’t see the details like that). So, after consulting with my sister about it, I decided to make this post to ask for help for this, since I’m not from any of the countries mentioned and I truly don’t want to end up doing something offensive due to lack of information when my objective is to try and bring more attention to what is happening there and hopefully spread the charity links to help the victims.

So please, if you can help me in any way to verify the information I gathered or link me more sources and references I can use (especially if you’re a part of any of these cultures) I would be incredibly grateful!

Notes:

My plan for Kalim’s outfits based on the information I have so far goes like this:

First outfit: white Thobe w/ embroidered neckline and cuffs + red and white Kuffiyeh/Shumagh (possibly over his shoulders instead of in his head, but I might change it) – OR – Kurdish traditional clothing (sharwall, long sleeved jacket, dress shirt and pshtwen/pshten).

Second Outfit: simple white Dishdasha + Champagne colored Bisht (given his social standing, please let me know if it’s innapropiate) + classic black and white Kuffiyeh/Shumagh.

Third Outfit: Dishdasha w/ blazer + embroidered belt + Jambiya + Shawl wrapped like a turban (colors and patterns not yet decided).

Fourth Outfit: Jalabiya + scarf + skullcap (colors and patterns not yet decided).

I don’t really know if that number of outfits is enough to represent all of the mentioned cultures or if I should add more, so please let me know! I’m also trying to find more reference pictures so that I can be as accurate as possible, so links to online shops that sell these garments also work pretty well for me (preferably, with models wearing them so I can see how the fabrics and layers interact with movement).

El día dos lo intérprete con esa idea de supuestamente nos darían otra temporada y no lo tome como las épocas del año y season tiene dos traducciones.

Randy se vistió de pirata(vampiro pero pirata), y Luffy admira a los ninjas así que quise juntar a mis dos tarados favoritos.

En el último día se ve mal el azul pero me acabe el plumón por eso.

Como afinar a cintura

1- Faça exercícios para o core

uma coisa muito muito normal que eu vejo é gente que faz exercício para abdômen lateral achando que vai diminuir a cintura, NÃO VAI!! esses exercícios são para desenvolver o tanquinho, logo vai te deixar com a cintura mais larga. Saiba os exercícios que você faz!!

Alguns que me ajudaram MUITO a perder medidas na cintura:

prancha invertida (30s)

bird dog (10x)

prancha com marcha alterada

prancha invertida com levantamento de quadril (15x)

abdominal elbow to knee (15x 4)

bird dog alternado (10x)

2- Faça vacuum abdominal

o vacuum reduz MUITO a barriga e a cintura, pra fazer vc só tem que expirar e puxar a barriga pra dentro e segurar, faça por quanto tempo vc conseguir segurar o ar, e repita por no mínimo 2min

3- Faça massagens redutoras!

eu disse isso no meu último blog mas vale reforçar, as massagens ajudam demais! fazendo elas enquanto faz vacuum da um grande resultado também

4- use cintas

se vc não tiver cintas você pode fazer uma caseira usando fita crepe/papel filme, basta recolher a barriga pra dentro e segurar enquanto enrola a fita/ papel filme em volta da cintura e barriga. Também pode comprar shorts de academia em tamanhos menores (tipo vc usa M use um P) que vai servir como um tipo de cinta também.

5- treine superiores!

um meio de fazer sua cintura parecer maior é deixando sua dorçal e ombros mais largos.

Não tenha medo de treinar superiores! vejo muitas garotas falando que não gostam pq ficam menos femininas, mas é só não pegar muito peso!

6- Chás redutores

um que eu tomo que funciona muito bem é de limão com louro, basta espremer 2 limões e colocar 2 folhas do louro na água e deixar esquentar, beba antes de dormir e no outro dia você já vai estar com a barriga e cintura menores .

7- consistência

não deixe de fazer tudo isso dos outros tópicos, sua cintura não vai diminuir 10cm da noite pro dia, tenha paciência, dedicação e consistência! nada vem de graça e nada vem rápido!
