A small frustration

It's absolutely super if people read your thoughtfully composed emails to correctly ascertain information before responding.

It is decidedly un-super if they have not.

Ugh.

Went out for a Saturday night dinner with my hubby. We sat next to a young family with a 2&4 year old. The children sat playing on a phone and an iPad until their food came. No conversation with Mom or Dad, no learning how to wait for something, and after they were done eating they began running around the table until they were settled with their electronics again. I brought up three daughters who certainly went to restaurants without a phone to play with. If they got really bored, they went for a walk outside or in the lobby. WHY WHY do parents think constant entertainment is a good thing for their children??? It is so disheartening to see. Please remember children need to learn how to wait, how to have a conversation, how to be frustrated, this is how they grow and develop skills at real life! Stop sticking your kid in front of a screen.
