SMARTPHONE LAUNCHES IN FEBRUARY 21'

Oppo Reno 7 Series

Oppo Reno 7 series that includes Oppo Reno 7 5G, Oppo Reno 7 SE 5G and Reno 7 Pro 5G is confirmed to launch in India on February 4. For the unversed, the smartphone series debuted in China last year. As per the China variants, Oppo Reno 7 5G will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC, while the Pro model is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200-Max SoC. What made this funny is it really looks like iPhone lite version. Actually I won't recommend these. It's your wish to go on with it or not.

Redmi Note 11S

Xiaomi India has confirmed to launch Redmi Note 11S in India on February 9. As per the official teaser, the smartphone will house a quad rear camera setup. It will come in a blue colour option. The smartphone is expected to feature feature a 108-megapixel primary ISOCELL HM2 sensor, an 8-megapixel Sony IMX355 ultra wide angle lens, a 2-megapixel OmniVision OV2A macro lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. It is expected to be powered by a MediaTek Helio G96 SoC. Redmi Note 11S might come with up to 8GB of RAM along with 128GB of internal storage. It's a feature packed smartphone but it still gets problem with the software. It's really buggy sometimes. Redmi still haven't found a solution for this. If it is available for around 20 - 30k I will recommend.

Samsung Galaxy S22 series

Samsung Galaxy S22 series that is expected to include Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Pro and Galaxy S22 Ultra will debut globally at the Galaxy Unpacked 2022 next month. Notably, the official date of the event is yet to be announced. The Ultra is likely to bring the Note’s S pen with it and also a similar boxy design. The other two models – Samsung Galaxy S22 and S22+ are expected to be the usual S series devices with curved design and no S Pen there. Most awaited phone actually. But I really look forward to the redesign, as per the leaks I hated but I love the key factor point S Pen.

OnePlus Nord CE 2

OnePlus Nord CE 2 is expected to debut in India next month. OnePlus Nord CE 2 has passed the testing phase in India and is expected to debut in India in February. The smartphone was also spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website hinting that it will debut in India soon. It appeared with model number IV2201 and Ivan codename. Realme 9 Pro+is exoected to come with a 90 Hz refresh rate AMOLED display, a MediaTek Dimensity 920 5G chipset, and a triple rear camera setup. On the other hand, Realme 9 Pro is expected to come a 120Hz refresh rate 6.6-inch AMOLED display, Snapdragon 695 chipset, 8GB RAM and up to 128GB internal storage. It might feature a 64-megapixel triple rear camera setup. The Best Phone Out Of All actually. I kept this for the last because I want this phone to be seen by the readers of my articles who read from the top to the end. Yeah these are the phones. ColorOS 7 - OPPO, Realme phone lists, Release Date and features

In India, ColorOS 7 has been officially launched as the new custom skin by OPPO on 27. It’s initially unveiled in China last week that the latest ColorOS version is based on the company’s Infinite Design concept which is aimed to interpret the user interface. The update of ColorOS brings the system-wide Dark Mode and is been created to support all the core features of Android10. The interface comes with full icon customization as well as it comprises of weather-adaptive alarm notifications, Artist Wallpaper Project, and sounds by Denmark’s audio design company Epic Sound. Oppo is trying to compete strongly against Xiaomi’s MIUI 11 with its ColorOS 7. Xiaomi’s MIUI 11 was launched in India last month. Officially, Oppo is ready to bring the ColorOS 7 update crosswise over 20 phone models, comprising of the" Oppo Reno, Oppo Reno 10, Oppo Reno 10x Zoom, and Oppo Reno 2 and the Oppo Find, Oppo F, Oppo K, Oppo A" series as well. The users would be getting the update by a trial version starting today. Additionally, the update is been planned to reach all the compatible models in the regions of China, South Asia, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and the Asia-pacific. Now ColorOS 7 Update will start reaching Oppo and Realme smartphones. The beta program for the new ColorOS on Realme X2 has been already started on November 27 i.e. Monday, announced by Realme through a press release. In China, Oppo Reno, Oppo Reno Inspiration Edition, Oppo Reno 10x Zoom, Oppo Reno Barcelona Custom Edition, Oppo Reno Ace, and Oppo Reno Ace Gundam Edition are the devices for which Oppo has already started ColorOS 7 rollout as a fresh update.

Features And Changes

The new ColorOS 7 is based on Oppo's Infinite Design concept which includes a lightweight visual interface. As per the report it is touted to be the "largest update for ColorOS. Oppo has featured an appreciable update towards the users privacy such as Personal Information Protection that offers the users to protect their information private from the third part apps. Furthermore there are two more major additions in the privacy settings that are "Payment Protection" and "File Protection" options. In an addition the ColorOS 7 brings a Private Safe to transfer photos, videos, audio, and other documents to a secure zone in the storage folder which helps the users to block the access to important content by other apps.

Apart from the above features, many other features have been projected to restrict a user's personal information. ColorOS 7 is providing the users Smart Sidebar which gives you a space to hold the apps and tools that have been your favorite at the side of the screen. The new ColorOS also comes preloaded with a new Soloop video editing app. For Indian users, the update includes features such as Smart Riding and Riding Mode. In ColorOS 7, Oppo has provided a localised feature called DocVault that integrates the government's DigiLocker which let users to conviniently store their official documents. And pecularly the set of live wallpapers provided in this new ColorOS are dedicated to indian monuments. Additionally, ColorOS 7 has an enhanced smart Breeno voice assistant, which can accurately push messages according to the pace of life. Also, the new update provides a 2.0 portrait mode, a night mode and a super focused mode with gyroscope algorithm. And few more features are also delivered like new icon packs that can be custom shaped, new sound effects and CachePreload "a smarter RAM optimization" which let the apps startup time to be reduced by 40%.

These features of ColorOS 7 have been performed majorly by Oppo's R&D center in Hyderabad that has a team of more than 280 members with a focus on localizing localized features and assisting the global ColorOS team in creating globalized features. Oppo claims that ColorOS 7 offers an improved touch response by 21.6 percent and an enhanced frame rate by 38 percent when playing intense battle games. You'll also find various performance enhancements and interface-level tweaks over the existing ColorOS version.

As per the data shared by Oppo at the ColorOS 7 launch event in New Delhi, ColorOS has over 300 million users globally, reaching more than 140 countries and regions in over 80 languages. There are six research centers where it conceptualizes and designs new ColorOS updates. Oppo also considers India as one of its most important markets.

So, I am back with the new post on top upcoming smartphones in the month of July 2021. In the previous month in June, a lot of phones launched at every price range. Some phones are good some are bad. But, overall experience is decent.

In the month of July brands like Tecno and Infinix will launch their flagship phones. The first time they are launching their flagship phones. Earlier they only target the midrange and low range price segment market.

So, let's get started.

1. oppo reno 6 series.

Oppo will launch their reno 6 series this series was already launched in China in the past month. Series have camera-centric phones made for camera lovers.

Also, the design of the phone is really good and very premium looking. Reno 6 series phones will have a flagship processor of Mediatek.

Reno 6 series have two phones Oppo reno 6 and Oppo reno 6pro. It will launch around mid-July 15 to 16 July.

2. OnePlus.

The real successor of the OnePlus more might be launch in India in July. There are a lot of rumours about this phone that it will launch in July. Also, many rumours that this phone will be on the Flagship processor of mediatek, Like dimensity 1200 or dimension 1000.

Although there are not any official confirmation from OnePlus about the launch of this phone.

Hope that this phone will not disappoint us as the earlier phones like the OnePlus 9 series.

3. Xiaomi.

Xiaomi is not going to launch many phones this month. But, there is the highest possibility of launching the Redmi 10 series. A lot of phones are launched in the redmi note 10 series.

4. Vivo.

Vivo is not going to launch any phones this month.

So, let's talk about the Poco. Poco is all set to launch its new phones. There are might be two phones launched by Poco. The Poco f3 gt will be the rebranded version of the Redmi K40 gaming edition which was launched in China last month and the second phone might be the Poco X3 gt will be the Rebranded version of. By the end to mid of July, these phones can be launched in India.

7. Realme.

If we talk about Realme who launch at least two to three phones every month in India. In July. In India, in July they might not launch any phone but in china, they will launch Realme X9 series phones the X9 pro and X9.

The second lineup they can launch is the Realme GT Master edition which will be the Camera Centric phone.

In India, these phones can be launched in August.

8. Micro max.

Micro max the Indian brand we all want that they do some better but since the last three months Micromax didn't launch any phone. But there two phones the Micromax In2b and In2C had been listed in the Geekbench list. So, they are ready and testing is going on with these phones.

Might be these phones can be launched in the month of July.

9. Tecno.

Tecno is ready to launch its new flagship phone, The Tecno Phantom X. This phone will be based on Mediatek Helio G 95. Yes, I know that this processor is not a flagship processor.

10. Infinix.

11. Samsung.

Samsung's upcoming phones.

Samsung has listed many phones to launch in this month of July. The phones that can be launched are Galaxy F22, Galaxy A22, Galaxy F52, Galaxy A52. Out of these A52 and F52 will be 5G phones and other than it All phones will be 4G phones.

Also, the flagship phones of Samsung like Z fold 3 and Z flip 3 phones can be launched in the month of July in India. Hughes possibility that all of these phones will launch in July. But, A52 and F22 are officially confirmed.

These phones can be launched at the end of July.

12. Asus.

Asus will launch their 8Z and 8Z flip phone in India 🇮🇳 . These phones were already launched globally in the month of May. These phones were set to launch in the month of June but because of the second wave of covid, Asus postponed the launch of these phones.

The exact dates are not confirmed but might be launched in the second week of July.

Vivo S1 Pro India Launch Date, Oppo Reno 3 Series, Samsung A30s Price Cut, and More Tech News This Week

Vivo S1 Pro launch date reveal, Oppo Reno 3 series launch, the news of Redmi Note 8 duo going on open sale in India were the biggest tech stories in a week that was pretty light on news. Also, in our last weekend wrap of this year, we talk about Vivo Y11 (2019) launch in India, Realme’s 2020 device plans, and Jio 2020 Happy New Year Offer. We have also published over a dozen features this week taking a look at the happening in the world of tech in 2019 and this decade. The year-enders and decade-enders aside, read on for more on what happened this week in tech.

Vivo S1 Pro India launch on January 4

Vivo has revealed that it will launch the Vivo S1 Pro next week in the country. Amazon India also published a teaser page for the smartphone on its platform that offers a few details about the phone, in turn indicating that we are going to see the same Vivo S1 Pro variant that was released in Philippines and not the one that was launched in the company’s home market of China. Part of the company’s style-focussed S-series, the S1 Pro will be the second phone in the lineup in the country.

If Vivo doesn’t change anything from the Vivo S1 Pro model available in Philippines, we can expect to see a design with a waterdrop-style notch on the front and a diamond-shared camera module on the back. There will also be gradient-finish on the back. Vivo has confirmed at least the back design and camera setup in its teasers. On the specifications front, Vivo S1 Pro will include Android 9 Pie with Funtouch OS 9.2, Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC, and 6.38-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display.

Additionally, the phone features a quad rear camera setup that houses a 48-megapixel primary shooter, an 8-megapixel secondary ultra-wide-angle camera, and two 2-megapixel sensors for depth sensing and macro photography. For selfies, the Vivo S1 Pro comes with a 32-megapixel front shooter. The Vivo S1 Pro India price is a mystery at this point, however, if the Philippines price of the phone – PHP 15,999 (roughly Rs. 22,500) – is any indication, we can expect it to retail around Rs. 22,000 in the country.

Oppo Reno 3, Reno 3 Pro launch

Oppo, which shares the same parent company as Vivo, unveiled its new Reno 3 smartphone lineup in China this week. The lineup includes two new phones – Reno 3 and Reno 3 Pro – as well as a special edition of Reno 3 Pro, called Pantone Edition. In addition to the new phones, the company also introduced its Enco Free true wireless earbuds.

Talking about the Oppo Reno 3 Pro first, it has got a starting price of CNY 3,999 (roughly Rs. 40,000) for the 8GB + 128GB model, whereas the phone’s top-end 12GB + 256GB configuration will cost buyers CNY 4,499 (roughly Rs. 45,000). It runs Android 10, with ColorOS 7 on top, and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC. Additionally, Oppo has included a 6.5-inch full-HD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) curved AMOLED display, quad rear cameras, a 32-megapixel selfie shooter, and 4,025mAh battery with VOOC Flash Charge 4.0 support.

Oppo Reno 3, on the other hand, is priced at CNY 3,999 (roughly Rs. 40,000) for the 8GB + 128GB model, while the top-end 12GB + 256GB configuration will set buyers back by CNY 4,499 (roughly Rs. 45,000). It also runs on Android 10, with ColorOS 7 on top. Additionally, the company has packed MediaTek Dimensity 1000L 5G SoC, 6.4-inch full-HD+ display, quad rear cameras, 32-megapixel selfie shooter, and 4,025mAh battery with VOOC 4.0 fast charging support.

Redmi Note 8 Pro, Redmi Note 8, Redmi 8 go on open sale in India

After weeks of flash sales, Xiaomi has finally started selling the Redmi Note 8, Redmi Note 8 Pro, and Redmi 8 smartphones 24×7 in the country. The Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro can be purchased via Amazon, Mi.com, Mi Home stores, and other Mi partner retail outlets, whereas Redmi 8 is being sold via Flipkart and Xiaomi’s other usual selling posts. To recap the pricing, Redmi Note 8 price in India is set at Rs. 9,999 for the 4GB + 64GB variant, whereas its 6GB + 128GB option is priced at Rs. 12,999. Redmi Note 8 Pro price in India, on the other hand, starts at Rs. 14,999 for the 6GB + 64GB option. The handset also comes in the 6GB + 128GB variant at Rs. 15,999 and the top-end 8GB + 128GB version at Rs. 17,999.

Lastly, the Redmi 8 is priced at Rs. 7,999 for the base 3GB + 32GB variant, whereas its 4GB + 64GB option carries a price tag of Rs. 8,999. However, Xiaomi is currently only offering the 4GB + 64GB model at an introductory price of Rs. 7,999 for the first five million Redmi 8 unit sales.

Redmi Note 8, Redmi Note 8 Pro, and Redmi 8 were available only via flash sales until now

Coming to the specifications, all three phones run Android 9 with MIUI 10 on top and have received the MIUI 11 update. Redmi Note 8 has a 6.39-inch full-HD+ display, whereas Redmi Note 8 Pro and Redmi 8 come with 6.53-inch full-HD+ (1080 x 2340 pixels) HDR display and 6.22-inch HD+ (720×1520 pixels) display, respectively. Both Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro also packs quad rear cameras, while Redmi 8 has got a dual camera setup.

Vivo Y11 (2019) debuts in India

In other Vivo news, the company launched its Y11 (2019) phone in the country. It is budget Android phone and carries a price tag of Rs. 8,990 for the sole 3GB + 32GB option. It is now on sale via all major online and offline retailers. Vivo Y11 (2019) specifications include Android 9 Pie with Funtouch OS 9, 6.35-inch HD+ (720×1544 pixels) LCD screen, and octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 SoC.

Additionally, there is a dual rear camera setup on the Vivo Y11 (2019) and an 8-megapixel selfie camera on the front. The Vivo phone also packs a 5,000mAh battery, rear fingerprint sensor, Micro-USB port, and 3.5mm audio jack. The Vivo Y11 (2019) is being offered in Mineral Blue and Agate Red colour options.

Samsung Galaxy A30s 128GB model launched in India, 64GB model price cut

Samsung introduced a new 128GB model of its Galaxy A30s smartphone in India this week. It carries a price tag of Rs. 15,999 and will soon be put on sale. It joins the 64GB storage model of the phone that also saw a price cut. The 64GB models was previously retailing at Rs. 15,999, but is now available at Rs. 14,999, down Rs. 1,000. To recall, Samsung Galaxy A30s specifications include 6.4-inch HD+ (720×1560 pixels) Infinity-V Super AMOLED display, octa-core Exynos 7904 SoC, 4GB of RAM.

The phone also packs three cameras on the back, including a 25-megapixel primary shooter with f/1.7 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, Samsung Galaxy A30s houses a 16-megapixel f/2.0 selfie camera. The Samsung Galaxy A30s also comes with in-display fingerprint sensor, 4,000mAh battery with 15W fast charging support, and NFC.

Realme X2 Pro 6GB RAM variant coming soon, and other tech news this week

In various Realme related developments this week, the company’s India CEO Madhav Sheth revealed that the company will bring a 6GB + 64GB model of the Realme X2 Pro in the country. There is no launch date right now but we do know that it will carry a price tag of RS. 27,999. Realme already sells Realme X2 Pro in 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB models. Additionally, Sheth teased an interview that the company is working on a 108-megapixel camera phone as well as a fitness band, both of which are expected to arrive next year.

Separately, Realme is preparing to launch its first 5G phone – Realme X50 5G – in its home market next month. The company revealed that the phone will be launched on January 7. Thanks to various teasers we already know that Realme X50 5G will come with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 765G SoC and support VOOC 4.0 Flash Charge technology. Additionally, it will feature a side fingerprint sensor, quad rear camera setup, dual hole-punch display, and more.

In telecom news, Jio announced its 2020 Happy New Year offer this week. The offer for Jio prepaid subscribers includes unlimited voice calls, 1.5GB high-speed data per day, 100 SMS messages per day, and access to Jio apps such as JioTV, JioCinema, and JioNews, all with a 365 days validity. This special promotional recharge plan will cost Rs. 2,020. Prospective Jio phone customers are also getting a Jio Phone 2020 Happy New Year offer that includes a Jio Phone worth Rs. 1,500, unlimited voice calling benefits, 0.5GB daily high-speed data, SMS messages, and access to Jio apps.

BSNL unveiled a Christmas and New Year offer of its own for the Rs. 1,999 prepaid plan. During the offer period, the Rs. 1,999 plan will come with 425 days of validity, instead of 365 days, and offer 3GB of high-speed data per day, unlimited voice calls to any network, and 100 SMS messages per day. BSNL is also providing BSNL Tunes and BSNL TV subscription free for 365 days with the pack. The offer will end on January 31 next year.

After introducing its Wi-Fi calling feature in Delhi NCR, Airtel has expanded it to Mumbai, Kolkata, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu. Additionally, the company started supporting OnePlus 6, OnePlus 6T, Samsung Galaxy S10, Samsung Galaxy S10e, and Galaxy M20 smartphones. To remind you, Wi-Fi calling feature allows the Airtel subscribers place calls over Wi-Fi networks in areas with poor connectivity. It is a quite useful feature, however the company is currently only supporting Wi-Fi calling over its own broadband service.

Airtel also revised its Rs. 558 prepaid recharge this week. The plan is now being offered with reduced validity of 56 days, down 82 days earlier. The change has been made a part of Airtel’s recent revision of its entire prepaid recharge portfolio. The Rs. 558 prepaid recharge offers truly unlimited voice calls, 3GB high-speed data per day, and 100 SMS per day. Additional benefits of the plan include free four week course at Shaw Academy that allows users to learn anything from photography to music.

Dish TV has introduced three new Bangla packs for its Bengalis subscribers. The new packs include Sampurna Bangla, Swagat Bangla, and Swagat Cricket Bangla. These come in both SD and HD versions and are available starting at Rs. 169. Dish TV offers as many as 234 channels through the new combo packs.

In gaming news, Sony has reportedly reduced the price of its PlayStation 4 Slim 1TB console. It can currently be purchased at Rs. 27,990. The price cut on the PS4 Slim 1TB model is part of a limited time offer, which started on December 24 and ends on February 29 next year. You can find it even cheaper on some e-retailers. At this price, you will likely also get some free games as a combo deal.

Lastly, Samsung introduced its Galaxy Watch Active 2 4G smartwatch in India this week. The 4G model comes with eSIM support, allowing consumers place calls or access Internet directly on the smartwatch. It carries a price tag of Rs. 35,990, and is currently on sale via various online and offline stores. The Wi-Fi only variant of the smartwatch was launched in the country in August this year.
