Streaming services have outlived their already limited usefulness by cancelling every original or interesting show they could provide.

They could've been an excellent place for more niche tv but no. Just gotta keep growing, keep selling; nothing ever does well enough because they want all the viewers, immediately, binge watching the whole thing in a single day, every day. Nothing is meant to last; they don't want a stable audience watching a show for years, they want new subscribers. They should be more concerned with keeping the old ones imho.

Renegade Nell cancelled

Deadline reports Disney+ is not going ahead with season 2 of Renegade Nell. No reason is given, so I take that as poor audience figures. I bailed during episode 1, so this won’t be one I miss, but it has plenty of fans.
