Am on AO3 but cannot connect to the blue lock authors. Recently had to buy a new iPad and the format has changed. What can I do or where do I go for help? Can’t find reneeyanceywriter now??

I have an Ao3 account, but after having to replace my tablet it won’t let me access the Reneeyanceywriter fanfics those with the blue lock. How can I fix this.?

Hi, this blog is not an official ao3 blog. If you have technical problems with your account, contact ao3 support. Here's the link:

Also, if you use an app for ao3, please know that there is no official ao3 app. All apps are from third parties and technical difficulties with them have nothing to do with the official ao3 website.

If the problem is with an app, I recommend getting off the app and opening ao3 in a browser instead (here's a link:)

And then logging into your account there. Fics with a blue lock are archive-locked, meaning you can only see them if you're logged in to your account.

This might not work with some of these apps (because they are garbage).

Third party/unofficial ao3 apps are made by scammers trying to profit from fan fiction (that writers on ao3 provide for free!) by data mining or showing you ads or even demanding pay. Also, think about if you want to share your reading history and log in data with people who have nothing to do with ao3. In short, don't use these apps (which I obviously don't know if you do, but this is meant as a psa for everyone).

Hi nonnie, I've wrote one along those lines. Through the Stones where both Claire and Jamie end up in modern times. And currently working on One Step Into the Future where just Jamie does. I am reneeyanceywriter on AO3.

LOVE this blog!! Have you thought of writing a full-length fic? I loved the one of JC falling in love when Jamie goes through the stones instead of hers. Any, really. I wish this fandom had more writers. It's so annoying.

Thank you! I have in fact thought about it, especially for that one where Jamie comes through the stones instead of Claire. The only problem is I’m really, really awful at actually completing full fics? I think my problem is knowing how to end things, really. But yeah. I’m usually better at drabbles and ficlets. You guys are more than welcome to send in more prompts pertaining to those little AUs and I can write more on them? 

Also, if it makes you feel any better, sheumaisruaidh and I are thinking about doing a roleplay based off of that particular AU. (Hopefully the lovely nonnie that sent in the prompt doesn’t mind?) I do much better at full story-writing when I’m writing with a partner, so I think it could in fact work out much better that way. :)

This fandom DEFINITELY needs more writers, though! I totally agree with you there. I’d love to read others’ stories!

Baby Girl Chapter 65

“You two look well rested.” Murtagh smirks at seeing them, together in the lift.

 

“We did get some sleep.” Jamie replies. Claire blushes to her hair line beside him. Murtagh laughs.

 

“Dinna fash about it Claire. Love is a grand thing. In this world, when you find happiness, hold fast to it with both hands.”

 

Happiness isn’t to be found in their next case. Mary calls them to attention. Pictures of two women appear behind her. “Robin Nevins and Sara Klein are both missing from Glasgow. Both are eight months pregnant.” The last sentence lands like a bomb.

 

John sits up straighter. Claire looks to Jamie, reaching for his hand under the table. He clasps them together. Murtagh utters a curse. Geillis thinks of her Mary and their child. She longs to call her.

 

“Both were last scene around the NIH health clinic after perinatal checkups. Both reported missing by their husbands.”

 

“So, is this unsub after the women or their infants?” John muses.

 

“It could be either. Either way, we haven’t much time. Claire, deep dive into these women, see if they have anything else in common. Also check for any women who have lost babies due to stillbirth or any other means.” Claire nods to Geillis. “Jamie, you and I will speak to their husbands. John and Murtagh, head to the clinic.”

The good thing about being last-minute surprise unemployed for the summer is that I now have buckets of time. Time I should probably use for cleaning/organizing/prepping for moving, but time I will probably instead use for reading.

Renee, is there some way to follow the order of all your fics? I miss chapters and can’t seem to find a way to read them in order if I miss when you post. Or I can’t find a chapter. Thanks, I really enjoy your writing.
