What if instead of ending in the past Hong ended in one timeline with one of the variants of Bella of this blog (Beauford, paranoid Bella, etc), or in a timeline where there are more than one Bella? Would he still try to protect them? Would he become Hong Bellamy at all?

Anon's referring to Hong Bellamy, the protagonist of The Seventh Seal, Bella's gift gone wild.

Those are all very different answers as they're different scenarios.

Paranoid Bella

It likely wouldn't notice the difference at first.

There's a Bella Swan, it's 2005 and she's arriving in Forks, she is an only child born to Charlie Swan and Renee Dwyer, her mother just got remarried, the Cullens are in Forks, everything lines up the way it's supposed to.

Why would it stop to think that Bella is anything other than the Bella it knew.

It still pulls the Hong Bellamy gambit for the same reasons that it chose to in The Seventh Seal (there can't be two Edwards, Bella doesn't actually listen to advice, etc.)

Then things get confusing.

Bella reacts very differently than Hong expected to Hong himself (as that sets off Bella's paranoid alarm like nothing else) and to the Cullens in general.

However, because of Hong's interference, Edward doesn't get the chance to unintentionally intimidate Bella into a relationship. Edward blames Bella's terror of the family (now blatant) on Hong. Clearly, he doesn't blend in well with the humans.

Hong's not sure what's happening but feels successful. (He is successful in that Bella is not put through any of what canon Bella was. He feels less successful in that he has no idea how to get her to turn into a vampire without her throwing herself off a cliff screaming, "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!")

Beauford Swan

This one, it does notice right away, and is confused. Everything looks the same except that Bella is Beauford now. Ultimately, it decides that just because Bella's changed bodies and sexual organs doesn't mean it's not Bella Swan.

The Hong gambit is back on for the same reasons.

And it is not sure how it's working out for him (much like The Seventh Seal) as Beauford seems to be responsive/brushing off Edward but this also isn't Bella Swan.

Unless it is.

It must be.

They're acting exactly the same.

The Seventh Seal progresses except Edward wants two boyfriends but will admit to wanting neither.

Catch All

Basically, if there's something that it can slap a "I'm Bella Swan" nametag on, it's going to default to treating that as Bella Swan until told otherwise.

It will then work with what it knows of Bella Swan which means the Hong Bellamy plan. Whether it works or not is anyone's guess.

The raccoon man of suite 10j. Season premiere. Part two. Having found her hotels squatter. Lucia teams up with Jacob to get the man emancipated from his abusive wife. Guest starring Keanu Reeves as the eponymous raccoon man

Malpractice. Findlay offers moral support to Dr Corsica (returning guest star Audra McDonald) when a routine surgery ends in tragedy

Someone give me a Trevor x Rene fic.

Give me the story of Rene falling in love with "Trevor" for a second time, how different he is after his near-death experience and she never thought she could love a man like him.

Give me a story that explains why Trevor won't break-up with Rene, how he's willing to mess up the time-line, to not let her move on from him like she would have after Trevor's death. How he can't seem to let her go and he refuses to explain why.

Give me the unsure but determined Trevor who won't push away this frustrating, fascinating, beautiful, bitch of a girl (because she's so so young and he's knows she's got her whole life ahead of her but... but...) And his heart beats just a little quicker everyday she shows up to meditate with him and none of his team gets it but they don't question it either.

Give me Rene watching these changes in her boyfriend and remembering the wild crazy kid he was and how he made her feel alive like her very soul was bursting into flames and free falling a thousand feet and now... now it's like drowning in a lightening storm and she can feel it down into the very depths of her being. She loved him so passionately before that it nearly burned her and now she loves him so deeply it feels like being in love with a whole new person and she never knew she could love like this. Like the whole universe is vast and new and incomprehensible and she's seeing it for the first time.

S: Okay, I’ll start

Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe

The novel follows the two main characters, Aristotle (Ari) and Dante. They seem to be polar opposites- Ari can’t swim, Dante can, Dante is very open and verbal with his thoughts while Ari spends more time in his mind- yet they instantly form a close bond. This relationship changes both their lives as they face the challenges of life together and discover who they want to be. 

I absolutely loved this book! The characters are so well rounded, and the development of their relationship felt very natural. The author’s beautiful style had me unable to put the book down! This was a very character driven novel, and so there wasn’t much in the way of plotline, but I found myself indifferent because the characters were so vibrant. I did deduct a half point, though, because I wish there had been a bit more resolution. All problems were solved, but it still felt like I was left hanging and missing something more. 

This is How We Lose the Time War

This book, the epitome of gay yearning, was written in the form of letters between two time-traveling agents on opposite sides of a war. The letters were so well written, and each writing style varied depending on who was writing the letter. Both characters were their own, developed people with a history. Unfortunately, the book can be very difficult to follow and understand. There isn’t much information given regarding the world, the reader is just sort of placed there and wished best of luck. This is one of my favorite books, if only for the letters. They truly pulled on my heartstrings, and I fell in love with both characters as the story progressed. I am very gay for both of them.

They Both Die at the End

 You’re not gonna BELIEVE what happens at the end! (Hint: they die). The two main characters, Mateo and Rufus, receive a call from Death Cast to inform them they are going to die today. Both download the Last Friend App, and meet each other through it, determined not to be alone on their Last Day. The book only covers one day, but so much development happens! I loved both characters and how different they were. I was very disappointed by the fact that they both die, however, because I was emotionally attached to both! I knocked off a point for the end simply because I felt that the reader is left hanging in the development of their relationship. There were also quite a few irrelevant characters who I found bogged the story down a bit.

Dance of Thieves

While the book had quite a few cliches the personalities and interactions of the two main characters what was actually really initially drew me in. Dance of Thieves is set in a medieval world that has its own culture, gods, geography etc. The legendary former thief Kazi is sent into a foreign territory on a mission from the Queen to ironically quell thieves. Through a series of unfortunate events Kazi ends up stuck together with the leader of the foreign land, Jase (E: He’s great, I love him) who had been committing crimes in the area. 

Rook

I loved the representation of a strong female protagonist in this novel and how resourceful and competent everyone was. There was no such thing as a damsel in distress in the book which was really nice. The book Rook is about an infamous rebel called Rook who is rescuing innocent people from the prison cells of the  government in what was once Paris. Meanwhile, the Lady Sophia Bellamy has become engaged to Rene Hasard as a last ditch attempt at saving her family from ruin but her fiance is not as he seems, but then again, neither is she.

Cinder

...I actually really liked this book but it was, admittedly, a little elementary for me. The characters were interesting and garnered genuine sympathy from me, and the plot line was very well thought out. Cinder follows a gifted mechanic and secretly, a cyborg named Cinder in a futuristic world where there are people living on the moon and hover boards are quite real. Cinder struggles daily to make ends meet by fixing electronics, hiding her status as a cyborg in order not to be treated like a second-class citizen, and on top of that worries about her sister who has recently gotten sick with a deadly disease. Things become quite interesting when Cinder runs into the charming Prince Kai who just might have some secrets of his own. It is also an adaptation of Cinderella...

The American Veterans Center has enlisted Terry Crews to host its annual American Valor Veterans Day special. American Valor: We Stand Together will see Crews guide viewers in paying tribute to the nation’s service men and women as well as front-line workers combating the COVID-19 pandemic.

“I’m thrilled to be a part of this amazing event for another year,” said Crews. “We have some truly unbelievable stories that deserve to be recognized and shared, from our incredible service men and women, to the heroes working on the front lines of today’s fight against COVID-19.”

Joining the Brooklyn Nine-Nine star for the broadcast will be Kevin Bacon, Pierce Brosnan, Laurence Fishburne, Ed Harris, Tracy Morgan, Chris Pine and Renee Zellweger, who will pay tribute to U.S. veterans. Trace Adkins, Dennis Quaid, Gary Sinise, Alex Trebek, Charlie Weber, Rita Wilson and Bellamy Young will present the stories of service and sacrifice of veterans including The ‘Tuskegee Top Guns’, Hiroshi ‘Hershey’ Miyamura and Major Katie Cook.
