I wasn’t tagged or anything but I thought it’d be cute to do for the D&D Party and if someone tags me in it I’ll do others but HERE WE GO
OC’s Flirting
Aegis Stonefeather (Tiefling Paladin/Wizard):
Aegis is a very easy and dramatic flirt, he loves to be extremely overt about things just because . He is pretty free with his physical affection when he starts to trust you and will be an enormous tease. Eventually he’ll give you small touches just let you know he’s there, and always smiles in his crushes direction. They make him happy and it shows.
Bellamy Kaldwin (Aasimar Cleric/Bard):
Bell is an action flirt, he cannot ever get the words out right so he does actions instead such as but not limited to; purposely dropping things and picking them up in front of his crush, staring at lips, eyes etc., wistfully sighing, doing the above expression. He is also a tease when he trusts you, and is extremely, sickeningly sweet.
Margaux “Marie” Valais (Shadar-kai elf Monk):
Marie is....awkward to say the least, at least at first. She does little things and holds hands, makes her crush know they’re on her mind. Otherwise she’s just an absolute goofball and smiles easily around her crush.
Remis Stonefeather (Tiefling Bard/Warlock):
Remis is a mix, he’s goofy and sweet but also a Stonefeather. He’s dramatic as hell sometimes but is a little more overtly romantic at first than his brother. He likes to give the Looks TM from across the room and tease his crush, but also sends them flowers from anonymous sources.

can you do the hc meme for remis?
I’ll always give some headcanon’s for my boy Remis!
Remis Stonefeather || Tiefling Bard/Warlock || Divine of Music and Knowledge
Headcanon A: Remis is the youngest twin between himself and Aegis. He feels that neither of them should really count the two minutes that separate them and always rolls his eyes when it’s mentioned.
Headcanon B: One of his legs has a nasty scar across the thigh, he always passes it off as an owlbear attacked him in the woods. In reality he actually got it from when Honora was sharpening Godkiller and it fell between his legs, she might have been doing it in a tree above him. Might have.
Headcanon C: When Remis was thrown back to the mortal planes he lost himself in the Wailing Woods, thinking it was better for him to die in the forest as a monster rather than face the sadness of losing everything. There are still rumors and legends about a huge eldritch wolf stalking the section of woods outside of Eastvale that would devour anything that came across it’s path. Which is entirely untrue.
Headcanon D: The one other thing I would retcon from canon would be that Remis ended up with Nephrit, LMAO. But it ended up being good backstory.

Remis for the headcanon thing
Remis Stonefeather || Tiefling Bard/Warlock || Divine of Music and Knowledge
Headcanon A: Every once in a while he forgets that he actually needs to eat raw meat to survive. Due to the curse it’s hard for him to really stomach much of anything else but he can and will always attempt to eat a scone or two at breakfast.
Headcanon B: Remember that time he was summoned, naked, in front of an entire crowd? Someone absolutely fainted in the Underdark because they saw....everything.
Headcanon C: Remis was killed as the result of an assassination attempt from his former teacher, Midas Snowgarde. What no one knows is that it wasn’t the poison tipped arrow that actually killed Remis, it was when Aegis removed it from his chest. His brother had built up such a tolerance to the poison from when they were children that it wouldn’t have killed him on it’s own.
Headcanon D: Tanrin (a previous PC in the party before our current group) canonly did “erase” the Changeling that impaled @trans-aloth ‘s Thrash with his glaive in the Necropolis. However I can and will retcon that, instead Remis used Shatter on Relias multiple times before stabbing him right through his undead heart.

"don't close your eyes, please don't close your eyes!" for whoever you wish :)
The clanging of swords still echoed about the battlefield, but it had dulled; not enough soldiers were left on their side, they wouldn’t win this. And yet the fact Remis was on the losing side didn’t seem to be the reason he was bolting across the field of broken bodies and scrambling across blood soaked ground. He was making a bee line for a figure in the center, slumped over the great hulking corpse of a giant, a rather large greatsword having plunged down into both of them to impale the two together. Not too many of the remaining men and women took notice until there was a tremendous shout. A cacophonous scream that could only be accompanied by grief.
The tiefling had dropped to his knees beside the two bodies, chest heaving with sobs; with shaking hands he reached out to touch his brothers cheek. Aegis was still halfway in his armor from earlier, having been snuck up upon by several of the Daemartes men and their beast of a giant. Nothing but pain could be felt between the twin brothers. An agony so pure and so harsh that many of the soldiers were rumored to have laid down their weapons upon watching them.
Blood bloomed upon Aegis’s lips as he took notice of his brother, unable to do much of anything lest the greatsword slide deeper within his chest; it was a miracle he had even stayed hanging to life this long. His blond hair was matted against sharp cheekbones with gore and his normally blush colored flesh was mottled purple from viscera in some places. The corners of his mouth curled upward the best they could, one of his own hands coming to rest weakly atop Remis’.
“Your f-face will…f-freeze that way if you…keep it up”, he murmured, golden eyes beginning to glaze over. Aegis no longer felt any pain from his wounds, only a deep warmth creeping up upon him slowly and he was welcoming it.
“You are such a fool, a damned /fool/” the older twin spat against clenched teeth, clasping Aegis’ hand tightly. If he believed any spell would heal this wound he would have already cast it and the other tiefling knew it.
“Gods ….should not bother t-themselves with the affairs of…mortal men, Remis. Y-you should not…be here”
“My brother is grievously injured! And you wouldn’t be if you had just invoked myself or Yna! You know that!”
The tiefling let out a dry chuckle, “We were never going to win, Remis”
“You don’t know that Aegis”
Before the commander could throw a reply out Aegis felt the sharpness of the world fade around the edges. Something had shifted within his body. He could no longer feel any part of himself and watched as his own grip slackened on his brothers fingers, suddenly afraid of the loss of control. He tried to get words out only to have blood pool onto his tongue. All he wished for was gentle sleep as his eyes fluttered despite the fear.
“Don’t close your eyes, please don’t close your eyes”, Remis began to plead, but his brother could no longer hear the waking realm. Tears pricked at the corners of the young Divine’s eyes, fresh pain bubbling to the surface as he watched Aegis’s breath hitch for a moment. Gods help him he tried to reach Remis as his body finally lost all will, only to fall short, head lolling to the side while his eyes darkened.
An inhuman wail lifted itself up into the afternoon sky as Remis spat in Infernal, wrenching the greatsword out of his brother in one last desperate attempt. But to no avail. Aegis was gone. His brother had ascended, and much too soon at that.
Divine Yna’s presence touched upon Remis’s mind but he elected to ignore it, hauling Aegis into his lap as he wept and held his brothers corpse tightly. This was an injustice, Aegis had taken every secret, every sin of his country and hid it before Daemertes could get their filthy paws on them. He had lead so many into battle, taken care of the wounded and the dying, comforted the grieving. Pleaded with the gods to save Remis when an arrow found it’s mark nearly a century before. His brother owed his newly found immortality to Aegis.
But what was it worth to be alone? To walk without a confidant upon on this plane of existence?
Without much effort Remis took Aegis’ body into his arms, Infernal curses turning into the Primordial tongue of the Ancients, all looking to him as if he were a mad man. Legends would tell of the Divine Hunter lifting his twin to the heavens and screaming to the High Lord all that had been done. They would speak of a holy light descending from the clouds and making Aegis whole, transforming him into the Divine that he is known to be.
But that was not the truth.
Remis could only hold his brother for so long and when he had emptied all that his voice could hold, the eldritch being did not grace the battlefield. He did not fill Aegis with light. It would be days before all the curses and pleading amounted to anything in Imlath’s mind. Days of screaming at the other Divines that he would be reborn, that he deserved life more than Remis had deserved, days of anger and sadness and hatred that lingered on in the tiefling god long after Aegis was resurrected. But he /was/ reborn in Divine form, given dominion over Secrets and the Darkness, having spent much time drowning in it as Imlath and Remis argued.
Sometimes Aegis wished that he had never rolled out of his cot that day the battle started. If only to spare his brother the suffering of watching him go.

Ghosts
Sorry it’s not under a cut I’m on mobile and I’m tired. But have more shit from the last session I did in D&D. Had to let my players know what the gods saw 🙃.
Within the fog was a nightmare come to life, a ghost come to haunt Aegis from his worst memories. Relias stood before him, dripping with the Rot, teeth bared in a horrifying grin. Never had he thought this would come back, he had willed it away so many nights before. Even if Aegis knew this wasn’t real it still sat in his gut wrong. The man should be dead and yet here he was.
“What? Too scared to come and hit me?”
There it was, the tell tale rasp of vocal chords fried by corruption. A smirk settled on thin, pale lips and Aegis watched as Relias took a single step forward, taunting him. He would not let the anger overtake him, not now. Much less the horror.
“I know you’re not real”
“Am I? Remember the last time you said that? I’m pretty fucking sure your boyfriend got impaled”
It didn’t matter if that was Shar or not, the rage boiled deep within Aegis at the words. Pain scratched at the surface but had not yet broken through.
“I seem to remember that you also died the last time I said that. The party turned you into ash and Ielia is currently torturing your soul for all of eternity”, Aegis spat out, poison dripping from his words.
If only Relias wasn’t immune to insults and mockery. His smirk simply widened and he took another step forward, casually gesturing towards where Thrash stood. At the same time it flashed the remnants of his old armor, Aegis’ brand burned deep into it. One more pain to add on top of the list. A deep, heart wrenching guilt that one.
“Too bad he didn’t succumb. I did so want to be on your mind a little more. Instead it’s filled with...that horrible gushy shit. You could do so much better”
“You once wanted to be part of that gushy shit, you know”
It wouldn’t do any good to yell back at the vision but at the very least it helped calm Aegis’ blinding rage. Rage was always better than fear, than the panic that bubbled beneath his skin. He was very aware of the cold and calculating eyes upon him. Relias’ presence was all too familiar still, and he needed to rectify that. There was a year in between him and that cold day in the Necropolis; a year in between him and the asylum. He could do better than this. Already the vision was quiet, watching his every move but it would give him time to strike.
Relias was a ghost and that’s how he would stay.
—————————————————————-
Remis thought he had forgotten the sound of her voice, the perfume she would wear after her baths; he had thought he’d forgotten her. And yet here she was, arms outstretched and smiling.
Nephrit.
Panic closed off his lungs, digging it’s claws in deep and would not let go. Remis was frozen in place with nowhere else to go but forward; where were the others? Divines above it was getting too hard to breathe. All he could do was stare while Nephrit offered herself to him with that same smile, gentle and soft, but he knew better. Beneath her innocent gaze was a predatory spirit who wanted to consume everything in her path.
“Why won’t you come towards me, Remis?”
Another jolt of panic alighted down the gods spine and he jumped back a few inches. In his hands his handaxes clattered together while he trembled, and he did his best to gather his words. Her eyes eerily focused in on his movements, a way to tell this wasn’t real and yet…
“You’re dangerous”
Shock and hurt crossed Nephrit’s face, a visible pout that both angered and saddened Remis. Gods, why had he ever thought she’d been good enough for him?
“I am not! Why do you think such things? All I’ve ever done is wanted to love you”
Before he even knew what was coming out of his mouth, Remis choked out, “I asked you, pleaded with you to not pursue godhood. And look at what it did to you. Do you not remember Phyra and Klaus? They died because they weren’t worthy, Nephrit”
Again, there was a pout and she settled her hands against her hips, “But how do you know I’m not worthy?”
Panic surged through Remis, his heart hammering so hard against his ribs he believed it would escape him. Why did this have to happen here? Why? He had to pull through it but everything in his body wanted to fall apart at the seams. Instead, Remis took in a deep breath and squared his shoulders. Sure, he wanted to run screaming from the room and curl into a ball to sob, but there were things they needed to do. People they needed to save. Anxiety could wait.
“Why do I have to justify myself to a phantom? You’re dead, what does it matter?”
No sooner had the words left his mouth than Nephrits body had shifted. Teeth bared in a terrible grimace she reached out for him again, only red blooming in the place of a request for an embrace. Despite the crack of his heart as Remis threw the axe in response, he knew this was for the best. She wasn’t real.
She was never worth the time he gave her.

I have so many npc’s who realize they’re stronger than they really are. Even just the four in our party:
Aegis found that he wasn’t really as worthless as he believed, that he had the courage and strength to be who he was, to do his best. And that didn’t mean when he failed that he was worthless, it had nothing to do with him. His trauma does not define him, it is something he survived and has made him stronger, even if it still aches in the back of his mind. He can get through it.
Marie finds that she has strength outside of her faith in Kelemvor. As much as she loves her practically adopted father she knows she can’t always rely on him because of the literal physical barriers between them. So often she’s on her own and she feels so helpess. But she’s not, she could punch Graz’zt into the stratosphere if she really wanted to. Marie has the strength to stand up to her mother; she has the strength to protect her family.
Remis has the strength to be open and honest with people, he just doesn’t know it yet. There may be judgement in the beginning, even fear; but that doesn’t mean they love him any less. He was grief stricken, injustice had been plaguging him since he was a child. And he would not let the gods get away with it. But he doesn’t need to keep everything bottled up. One day he will learn and finally smile again, genuinely. He has the strength to forgive himself.
Bellamy is beginning to realize he has the strength not to be terrified anymore. He can stand up to those who have harmed him and not be afraid of what comes afterwards, because it doesn’t matter anymore. They know what they’ve done and that’s what matters, they get to live with that fact. And he can let go. Even if he doesn’t directly get to say anything or kick their asses, he knows he doesn’t need to be afraid. And he can slowly let go of the pain of his past. Ghosts don’t need to linger when you’ve left them behind.
