Kai the kinda guy to only know one singular language. And because he’s a ninja of course he meets people who speak different ones. So whenever he tries speaking to them he tries to do it in their language and completely butchers it.

“You..uh-me cow? Apple cakes?” Is what he ends up saying in the language Vania originally speaks in Shintaro.

The first time he meets Geo, he recognises his features and grabs a rock to throw at him. He then wonders if throwing Cole would’ve shown his acceptance as a friend better.

He meets Skylor and she is having the time of her LIFE teaching him to say things he really shouldn’t and has no idea he is actually saying. He one day tries to mock Chen mid battle and all the other hears is ‘banana shake republic has decided you are shalt be split, fiend’ and honestly no one really has any way to really react. He also accidentally actually cusses out Garmadon with words i will not type and will stay in my head.

Yes i am well aware that ninjago as a whole doesn’t actually have other languages. Yes i am well aware i do not care it would be cool if they did.
