#reminder that my main verse is a claude + dimitri alliance

me, thinking about how before dimitri snaps out of his feral state claude is consistently overtired and overworked because control of both territories' armies and the knights of seiros is pretty much falling to him now since there's only so much byleth, seteth, gilbert, rodrigue, and judith can do to help him out (and the knights are also occupied searching for rhea on top of all that) and dimitri's refusing to actually keep up with his responsibilities--

and he refuses to let dimitri get away with his shit while feral either, which leads to arguments with him, which... really suck???

and on top of that he's constantly in contact with the alliance lords to keep them up to date with the situation and has to run home every so often for round table conferences and...

someone please give this man a break :')))

reminder that in the lions + deer alliance verse (which is my main verse actually!!) dimitri absolutely faces consequences for his shit and has to actively earn redemption and forgiveness from his loved ones

claude supports him and wants to see him get better but does NOT tolerate his poor treatment of their peers and soldiers, WILL call him out on it, and WILL argue with him over it. he will not enable dimitri like gilbert and rodrigue arguably are
