Yet here we are - in the wake of #makeamericagreatagain and prayers to keep our Black Mothers, Fathers, Sisters, and Brothers alive. Here we are - on the eve of 67 years to date without atonement; 67 years of trying to be civil with the uncivilized, in the fight for #civilrights. 50 some odd years of echoing the #freedomcries of #the60s, 8 milli some odd hashtags to rehash #BLACKLIVESMATTER, STILL. To paint the picture clearly, The harrowing image of a stoic #MamieTill peering at her son is replicated too often. How does one suppose we're past kneeling in view of the fact that if they don't bury us behind bars, these quick to draw officers of the law are quick to create #stilllifeimpressions of our brothers and sisters in a coffin? If they're not distorting #BlackExcellence in the media, the news reels stay purporting a Black-on-Black crime agenda to make your impressions of SELF less important. These days if they don't kill you - they kill your spirit, #mypoemsarenotpoems, these ain't jus' lyrics; #DearBlackAmerica, #YOUAREENOUGH, YOU ARE IMPORTANT. Why you think these white supremacists out here stealing our organs? These chemists launching chemical warfare, controlling the population through germ inoculation, food modifications, and infectious disease patents that appear to be attacking Black and Latin vital organs. Between Jim Crow and COINTELPRO these lawmakers have always tipped the scales of justice. And uh - these sellouts never see what they cost us.
