Seungcheol stood outside the bustling cafĂ©, the familiar sound of laughter and chatter spilling through the door like an intoxicating aroma. He had been meaning to meet his friends here for a while, but his heart wasn’t in it tonight. Instead, it felt heavy, aching at the thought of her—Y/n, his best friend and the girl who had unknowingly stolen his heart.
They had grown up together, their lives intertwined like the branches of the old oak tree that sat as the bridge between their childhood bedrooms. Seungcheol had always been protective of y/n, watching from the sidelines as she navigated the ups and downs of her life. But just recently, something had shifted between them, a current of unspoken words and emotions that neither dared to acknowledge.
He pushed open the door and made his way through the crowd, scanning the room until his eyes landed on her. Y/n sat at a corner table, her hair cascading over her shoulders, lost in conversation with another friend. But Seungcheol could see it in her eyes—the flicker of worry, the slight downturn of her lips. He knew her better than anyone, and lately, she had seemed off.
His heart raced as he approached the table, steeling himself for the inevitable conversation. “Hey, Soojin, Y/n.” he greeted, forcing a smile despite the turmoil brewing inside him.
“Seungcheol! You made it!” Y/n exclaimed, the warmth of her voice wrapping around him like a comfort blanket. But as her expression shifted to one of concern, he could see the cracks behind her cheerful facade.
“You okay?” he asked, unable to hide the worry in his own voice.
“Yeah, just... a lot going on,” she said, brushing it off. “Nothing I can’t handle.”
Seungcheol glanced at her friend, who seemed to sense the underlying tension and quickly excused herself. The moment of solitude felt charged, and Seungcheol knew they needed to talk.
“Listen, if something’s bothering you, you can tell me,” he urged, leaning forward. “I’m your friend, Bunny. I want to help.”
She sighed, running a hand through her hair. “It’s just... Alex,  dating has been, and it’s... complicated. I think he might be seeing someone else.”
Seungcheol remembered when Y/n first started dating her current partner, he was alright, nothing special compared to the girl who was standing in front of him.
Tumblr media
past
When he first met y/n boyfriend she had just gotten back from college for the weekend as Seungcheol stepped onto her front lawn waiting inside patiently next to y/n’s brother Joshua, he was considering running down the sidewalk to her when a guy appeared out of the front seat to hug her mother. It was in a flash of a moment he knew this guy was her boyfriend.
Seungcheol's heart sank, but he tried impossible hard to maintain a composed exterior. He forced a smile and greeted y/n with a wave as she approached, her boyfriend trailing beside her. Joshua nudged Seungcheol gently, giving him an encouraging nod.
"Hey, Seungcheol!" y/n called out, her voice filled with genuine warmth. "It's so good to see you!"
"Good to see you too, Bunny," Seungcheol replied, his voice steady. "How is school, my little scholar?"
"It’s been great, but I’ve missed home, especially your mom’s cooking," she said, glancing at her boyfriend. "Oh, Shit. I should introduce you! This is Alex."
Alex extended a hand towards Seungcheol. "Nice to meet you, man."
"Nice to meet you too," Seungcheol said, shaking his hand firmly. He noticed how Alex's grip was strong but not overbearing, a sign of confidence and respect.
The four of them stood there for a moment, the air filled with unspoken words. Joshua, sensing the tension, quickly suggested, "Why don't we all head inside? Mom made us some lemonade. Feel free to spike it yourself."
Of course they all agreed, and as they walked towards the house, Seungcheol couldn't help but steal a glance at y/n. She seemed happy, and that was what mattered most to him, even if it meant watching from the sidelines.
Inside, the house was filled with the comforting aroma of freshly squeezed lemon, probably just a room spray her mom thought would make her lemonade pop more, which helped make Cheol smile even more. y/n's mother greeted them with a warm smile, her eyes twinkling with joy at having her two kids home. The group settled into the cozy living room, the atmosphere gradually easing into one of laughter and shared stories.
Seungcheol listened intently, contributing when he could, but mostly observing the dynamics between y/n and Alex. He noticed the small gestures of affection, the way they seemed to understand each other with just a glance. It was clear they shared a deep connection.
As the evening wore on, Seungcheol felt a mix of emotions. There was an undeniable pang of that little green monster creeping in, but also a sense of acceptance. He realized that y/n's happiness was the most important thing, and if Alex was the one who brought that to her, then he would do his best to support her wholeheartedly.
Later, after many sneaks to Joshua’s hidden liquor, too many slices of pizza, and card games, they all stood on the porch saying their goodbyes, y/n gave Seungcheol a tight hug. "It really is good to see you, Seungcheol. Don't be a stranger, okay?"
"I won't," he promised, his voice sincere. "Take care of yourself, y/n."
“You know I always do,” she gripped onto his sweatshirt sleeve, and flashed her award winning smile his way, “And if I find myself in need of a body guard I’ll be sure to call you.”
With one last wave, Seungcheol watched as she and Alex walked down the driveway, hand in hand. He sighed softly, turning to Joshua who gave him a sympathetic look.
"Come on," Joshua said, clapping a hand on his shoulder. "Let's go get a beer, bro. My treat."
Seungcheol nodded, grateful for Joshua's friendship. As they walked away, he couldn't help but feel a glimmer of hope. Life had a way of surprising you, and he knew that his story was far from over.
A few months had passed now and finally the  sun was shining brightly as their friend group gathered around the picnic table, laughter and chatter filling the air. Plates of food were being passed around, and the aroma of grilled meat wafted through the garden. Which sure, sounded a little gross, but it was just another sign of the changing of seasons, but not the changing of where his heart was gravitating. Y/N was in her element, flitting from one group to another, her energy infectious.
Seungcheol watched her from a distance, like he usually would, holding a fond smile on his lips. He couldn't help but marvel at how effortlessly she brought people together, how her presence seemed to light up even the most simple of places.
"Hey, earth to Idiot!" Y/N's voice broke through his daydream. She was standing in front of him, hands on her hips and a playful glint in her eyes. "Are you ready for our trip tomorrow?"
He grinned, nodding enthusiastically. "Of course. Wouldn't miss it for the world."
"I knew you’d never disappoint me!" she exclaimed, her smile widening. "It's going to be the best one yet, I can feel it. Something about the smell of the rain this year tells my heart the flowers will be perfect.”
Seungcheol chuckled, captivated by her excitement. "You and your weird as fuck sixth sense about flowers," he teased gently.
She punched him playfully. "Hey, don't underestimate my flower intuition. It's never wrong. It’s like how you always can for some reason tell how many people got a draft beer before you based on some fucked up freshness level you created. I mean we could always take a bet and see who everyone thinks is more insane.”
As the evening wore on, they continued to chat and laugh, the anticipation for their trip growing with each passing moment. The backyard was now filled with the soft glow of fairy lights, casting a magical ambiance over the gathering. And Seuncheol was still sitting with Y/n listening to her talk on and on about her new weird interests.
"Remember the first time we went on this trip?" Y/N asked, her gaze distant as she reminisced. "We got lost for hours, and you were so convinced that we were going to get mauled by a bear or a cougar or something?”
“We didn’t have gas or cell service. I feel like it was a fair assumption to make.” Seungcheol smiled, feeling slightly embarrassed  remembering how he embarrassed himself around her even though he’s sure there were worse incidents.
“But, we were at a reststop.”
“But it was pouring rain, y/n. Come on.”
“Fine, I’ll let you have it,” she ruffled her pretty hands through his hair “I still think you’re silly.”
“You’re always so mean to me, when I do everything for you.”
“It’s just so easy.”
“By the way,” Seungcheol rubbed his slightly sweaty palms on his jeans, “Where’s Alex this weekend?”
“Uh,” Y/n gave him a soft smile that he wasn’t so convinced was real, “With his parents in Antigua I think? Not sure, some weird beach vacation. Sounds boring.”
Seungcheol raised an eyebrow, sensing the underlying tension in Y/n's tone. “Antigua, huh? Must be nice,” he replied, his voice deliberately casual, though he couldn't help the hint of envy creeping in.
Y/n shrugged, her smile flickering momentarily. “Yeah, I guess. But honestly, I’d much rather be here, hanging out with you guys. This is way more fun. And don’t tell Josh, but I miss seeing him every day.”
“Seriously?” Seungcheol asked. “I mean, it’s a tropical paradise, and you’d choose me and your brother over that?”
“Absolutely,” she said, her gaze meeting him with sincerity. “Why would I want to be stuck on a beach when I could be here, laughing and just
being ourselves? This is way more my style.”
Her words warmed him, but a knot of unease tightened in his stomach. “So, no Alex for the weekend, then,” he said, trying to keep his tone light. “Is that a good thing or a bad thing?”
Y/n bit her lip, a flicker of thought crossing her face. “Honestly, I don’t know. I guess it’s a bit of both? It’s nice to have some time to myself. But
you know how it is.” She trailed off, her eyes drifting away as if contemplating something deeper.
“Yeah, I do. Relationships can be complicated,” Seungcheol replied, his heart racing at the opportunity. “If you ever need to talk about anything, I’m here for you. You know that, right?”
She turned back to him, and her expression softened. “Thanks, Seungcheol. That means a lot.”
As the evening wore on, Seungcheol found himself lost in conversations with old friends and making new ones. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, a perfect reflection of Y/N's spirit.
Later, as the stars began to twinkle in the night sky, Seungcheol and Y/N found themselves talking through their open childhood bedroom windows.
"Thanks for always being there, Seungcheol," Y/N said softly, her gaze fixed on picking at her nails..
He watched her, his heart swelling with affection. "Always, Y/N. That's what friends are for."
She leaned her head on her hand, and they stared at each other, both hoping that no matter where life took them, they would always have each other.
At that moment, Seungcheol realized that sometimes, the most beautiful places were the ones you were at with the people you cared about the most.
As Seungcheol sat in his dimly lit room, the flickering glow of the y/n’s Scooby-Doo night light shone in his window, transporting him back to the warmth of Y/n’s presence. He could picture her room perfectly: the walls adorned with posters of their favorite shows, remnants of their laughter still hanging in the air. It had always been a haven for her—a place where her dreams intertwined and her deepest secrets were shared.
Years passed quickly, and that cherished tradition of celebrating their friendship had drifted away like fall leaves caught in a breeze. Life took them in separate directions, and despite the countless apologies Y/n sent his way, Seungcheol could never quite shake the feeling of loss. He always believed that she knew how much those moments meant to him; her absence felt like a missing piece of his heart that was waiting to be filled.
While he tried to move on, dating a variety of girls who were kind and entertaining, none of them were Y/n. He often found himself comparing their laughter to hers, their quirks to the little things he cherished about her. It felt like an act of treason against the relationships he pursued, but no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't stop the old feelings from creeping back into his heart.
As he reflected on it all, frustration bubbling beneath the surface. Why couldn't he just let go? It was foolish to cling to a childhood crush on your best friend's little sister that seemed to grow more distant by the day. But deep down, he sensed that what he felt for Y/n was something more profound than a simple infatuation. She was his first crush, someone he confided in, and the keeper of so many memories that covered his soul with nostalgia and warmth.
It was during one of those restless nights, when the weight of her absence pressed heavily on his chest, that he made a decision. Seungcheol had to  reach out to Y/n. No more waiting for the right moment or hoping for a chance meeting. He needed to tell her how he felt, how much he still cared, and how he longed for the connection they once shared.
Building up his courage the moment turned into an eternity as he waited, and just as doubt began to creep in, his phone buzzed, it was her calling him as if he had manifested catching up with her.
Seungcheol's heart raced as he saw Y/n's name flash across the screen. Just the sight of it sent a jolt of anxiety through him, he pushed it down and tried to take it as a reminder of all the times they had spent together, laughing until their sides hurt or sharing secrets late into the night, almost like excitement. He hesitated for a moment, his thumb hovering over the accept button, uncertainty warring with excitement.
But before he could overthink it any longer, he pressed "accept" and set his phone to the speaker. “Y/n?”
“Cheol!” Her voice was bright, and it ignited something deep within him—an undeniable longing. “I can’t believe I finally caught you. I’ve missed you so much, sorry for the phone tag, I have been so fucking busy.
“I’ve missed you too,” he replied, his voice steadier than he felt. “It’s been way too long. I was just thinking about texting you when you called.”
“I feel bad for not making it home to see you lately,” she admitted, a hint of regret in her tone. “But.. uh, I’d love to fix that. How about we get together this weekend, like we used to? Maybe invite Soojin? Joshua?”
“Let’s do it.” A smile spread across his face. “We can go to that bar we used to sneak into and catch a show legally now?”
“Sounds perfect. Do me a favor?” she said, genuine enthusiasm shining through her words.
“Yes?” he waiting on the other end of the line hearing her giggling slightly to herself.
“Wear that old Sonic Youth t-shirt you have?”
“Why would I wear that?”
“Not sure. I just like that t-shirt. Please?”
Seungcheol’s heart swelled at the thought of being with her again, but he also felt the weight of unresolved feelings pressing on him. They’d both changed, but would the bond they shared still resonate the same way? Would she see him as just her brother’s friend or as something more?
As they continued to chat, Seungcheol tried to gauge her tone, the way she spoke about her life, the little nuances that indicated where she stood. Y/n spoke about college, her friends, and of course Alex. Her enthusiasm was infectious. But every laugh pulled him further back into the past, to the innocent moments when everything had felt so uncomplicated.
“Hey, Y/n,” he ventured, his heart beating a little faster as he gathered his thoughts. “I’ve been meaning to ask
How are you handling everything? I know things have changed for both of us.”
Y/n paused, and he could almost hear her brain processing the question. “Honestly? It’s been a bit of a whirlwind. I’m still figuring things out, but having people around who care makes it easier.”
“Yeah, I feel that,” he said, wishing he could just lay bare his feelings, let his heart spill out the way they used to share their secrets. “You know, I’ve always been here if you need someone to talk to.”
Her voice softened, and he could sense the shift in the conversation. “I know, and I appreciate that, Cheol. You’ve always been there for me, just like
well, I cant think of something always there for something else, but you get it..”
They fell into a comfortable rhythm again, but as the call slowly wound down, Seungcheol felt a flicker of resolve.
As they said their goodbyes, he heard Y/n’s voice resonate with warmth, and for a moment, the distance between them felt almost non-existent. “See you this weekend, okay?”
“Yeah, I’m looking forward to it,” Seungcheol replied, his heart racing at the endless possibilities that lay ahead.
Closing his phone, he let out a deep breath, a smile breaking across his face. The connection he had yearned for was just around the corner, and as he lay back on his bed, he knew that this time, he wouldn’t hold back.
Tumblr media
present:
His heart sank at the words, a wave of frustration washing over him. “You deserve so much better than that,” he said, trying to keep his voice steady. “Don’t let anyone treat you like you’re not worth it. How do you know he’s cheating on you?
Y/n took a shaky breath, the anguish evident in her expression. “I’ve seen the signs—the late nights, the changing passwords, the way he ducks away when I try to talk about us.” She paused, her voice cracking slightly. “I just feel it deep inside, like this gnawing instinct that something isn’t right.”
Seungcheol felt his protectiveness swell within him. The thought of anyone treating her poorly made his blood boil. “Those signs aren’t just coincidence, Y/n. People shouldn’t make you second-guess yourself like that.”
She looked down, her fingers tracing the patterns on her jeans. “I don’t want to jump to conclusions, but the more I try to brush it aside, the more it eats away at me. I just wish I had the strength to confront him.”
“You do have that strength,” he urged, leaning closer, wanting to make eye contact to convey just how serious he was. “You’re stronger than you think. No one should keep you in the dark or make you feel like you have to doubt yourself. But if you need my help or anyone elses you know you can ask us right? You don’t have to fight it alone. Is that why you’ve been avoiding us lately?”
“Yeah and I’m sorry I’m embarrassed. But what if I’m wrong? What if I confront him and it turns out I’m just being paranoid?” A single tear slipped down her cheek, and she wiped it away in frustration, the vulnerability on display pulling sharply at Seungcheol’s heart.
“Y/n, you’re not paranoid; you’re being cautious. People should earn your trust, not break it. If he really cared about you, he’d be open and honest, not leave you guessing.” Seungcheol felt a surge of emotion, desperately wanting to help her see the truth. “You have every right to bring up your concerns. If he reacts poorly, that’s a huge huge fucking red flag.”
She nodded slowly, another tear escaping despite her efforts to contain them. “I just don’t want to lose more than what I already feel like I’ve lost.. I just don’t know what to do, I guess. I’m sorry I’m ruining our fun.”
At that moment, Seungcheol couldn’t help but reach out, gently cupping her chin with his fingers so she would look up at him. “You are never ruining our fun, by telling us how you feel. Remember, you’re the one who deserves to be valued, not just by him, but by everyone in your life, especially those who say they love you.”
Their eyes locked, and he felt a change in the air around them—a connection that transcended the conversation that was sinking like a stone. “You deserve love that lifts you up, that makes you feel secure. Not a relationship that makes you doubt your worth and changes your life poorly.”
“Cheol
” she started, but he could see the struggle in her eyes, the facade of strength crumbling as the truth sunk in. She was scared, scared of the possibilities, but perhaps also scared of how much this all mattered to her.
“I’ll be right here with you, no matter what happens,” he promised, his voice steady despite the tumultuous emotions swirling inside him. “We’ll figure this out together. You don’t have to face any of it alone.”
Y/n's expression softened, and the tension in her shoulders eased just a little. “Thank you. It just helps to know someone cares I guess.”
Seungcheol nodded, yearning to break through the last barriers between them. “I’ve always cared for you, Y/n. Always. And I’ll keep caring, no matter what.” Even as those words left his mouth, he felt a weight in his chest—he wanted her to see just how much more she meant to him than mere friendship, but the time for that would come later. Right now, she needed a friend in her corner, and he would be that friend, no matter what. “Should we have a drink now?”
She smiled at him again, giving him a side hug. “Yes, maybe some shots too?”
Seungcheol immediately got to his feet and winked as he bee-lined for the bar standing next to Joshua and Soojin, filling them in on his conversation with y/n. The three of them didn’t mention it the rest of the night, but just made sure to give her the best time dancing and forgetting about her shitty relationship issues before the alcohol settled in her system too much and Cheol had to carry her home.
Joshua unlocked their front door and slid into the house quietly rushing in the three other party goers in hopes not to wake his mom up considering it was a work night.
Y/n brother pulled her shoes off and rested them at the front door, basically begging Seungcheol to carry her up to her bedroom so he could go get Soojin some pajamas and change his sheets for her in his room which Cheol obliged being the most sober.
As he was carrying his friend to bed she looked up at him, her eyes shining with unshed tears. “I know I’m drunk, but I don’t want to get my hopes up only to be disappointed again. I just... feel so lost.”
Seungcheol felt a pang of concern as he adjusted his grip on her, his heart aching at the vulnerability etched across Y/n's face. He knew the night had been a whirlwind—filled with laughter, dancing, and fleeting moments of joy—but now, as he carried her up the stairs, her honesty pierced through the haze of alcohol.
“Hey,” he said softly, trying to keep his voice steady and reassuring. “It’s okay to feel lost. You’ve been through a lot. But just remember, you have lots of people riding for you.
Y/n blinked slowly, her features wavering as she processed his words. “I don’t want to burden you,” she admitted, almost whispering. “I don’t want you to be sad because of me.
Seungcheol paused just outside her bedroom door, carefully shifting her weight so she wasn't too uncomfortable. “You’re not a burden, Y/n. Friends support each other. That’s what we do.”
Her lips trembled slightly, and she looked down, tears pooling in her eyes. “I just... I wish I could see things clearly. I want to believe it’ll get better, but I’m scared it won’t.”
He took a deep breath, choosing his buzzed words carefully. “It’s natural to feel scared. Change is intimidating, especially when it comes to relationships that have been so significant in your life. But that doesn’t mean you can’t start taking the steps to find what you really deserve. Like we talked about earlier. You’re worth that big true love, Y/n, even if you can’t see it just yet.”
Looking into her eyes, he noticed the flicker of hope battling against the weight of her sorrow. “You deserve to feel loved, celebrated and so fucking cherished, not just tolerated. And trust me,” he added, trying to inject a touch of warmth into his words, “the right person will come along, maybe they already have. You’re incredible.”
Y/n’s gaze held onto his, searching for truth in his words. “Do you really think so?”
“Yes, loser,” he affirmed, nodding. “I’ve been singing your praises for years, remember I did write a letter to Harry Styles trying to get him to go out with you when he was still on X-Factor so until that person comes along, I’m right here.” He started moving again, gently pushing the door open with his knee.
As he stepped inside, he carefully laid her onto the bed, her comfort a priority in the quiet space. “Just rest for now. Tomorrow is a new day. You don’t have to worry about anything tonight. Just let it go.”
She looked up at him, her expression softening as the corners of her mouth edged toward a small smile. “Thanks, CheolieI don’t know what I’d do without you.”
“You’ll never have to find out,” he assured her, tucking the blanket around her. “You’re stuck with me now.” He grinned, feeling the lightness of the moment wash over them, dispelling some of the heavy emotions lingering in the air.
She laughed softly, a sound that melted some of the tension from his chest. “Okay, but just for tonight! Tomorrow, I’ll have to start figuring things out. And can you do me one more incredibly annoying awkward favor that we never have to speak of again?”
“Deal,” he replied playfully. “Depending on how embarrassing it is?”
“Can you help me put on my pajamas? Or at least unbutton my shirt for me, I’m so warm and too drunk to care right now.”
Seungcheol’s eyes widened in surprise, but he quickly masked his shock with a teasing grin. “Wow, is y/n too drunk to get undressed herself, it’s bringing me back to when you had your senior party.”
Y/n shrugged, her cheeks slightly flushed from the alcohol and the sudden vulnerability of the moment. “I’m serious! I can’t get the buttons right now,” she grumbled, a laugh escaping her lips as she realized just how ridiculous the request was.
“Shut up, it’s fine.” he said, trying to maintain the playful spirit of the moment while also respecting her boundaries. “But you have to promise me you won’t regret this in the morning.”
“How could anyone regret that the night star football player and homecoming king four years running Choi Seungcheol took their clothes off?” she replied with a slight smirk. “Can we actually stop fucking around though and  focus on getting me comfy so I can pass out without feeling like I’m wearing a fucking straightjacket.”
“Didn’t know you thought so highly of me,” he smirked back, trying to suppress his nervousness. Carefully, he shifted to sit beside her on the edge of the bed, ensuring he kept the atmosphere light and respectful. “I’ll work my special magic.”
He helped her sit up and, taking a deep breath, gently began unbuttoning her shirt. With each button he opened, he focused on keeping his movements steady and casual, trying not to touch inappropriately whatsoever,  stealing glances at her face rather than her torso. “See, I’m not so bad at this, right? Even being out of practice.” he joked, trying to ease any tension in the air.
Y/n chuckled softly, her laughter lightening the mood. “Yeah, you’re doing great. Just stop making it weird.”
“Me? Make it weird? Psh.” he teased back, his heart racing slightly as he continued, relieved that her demeanor was playful. As the last button came undone, he carefully helped her shrug the shirt off, revealing a soft bra top underneath.
“You literally just confessed to not getting laid in a long time, weirdo. Too much information.”
“God, shut up, I did not” he said, letting out a sigh of relief as he set the shirt aside. “Mission accomplished.. But it’s a good look, just so you know.”
“You’re just buttering me up to make me forget this moment, Cheol,” she replied, a mischievous glint in her eyes despite her slightly vulnerable state.
“Wouldn’t dream of it! This moment is going straight into the  archives as ‘That Time I Helped Y/n Get Ready for Bed,” he said, crossing his arms defiantly.
Y/n giggled, shaking her head. “You’re ridiculous.
Seungcheol felt warmth radiate in his chest at her words. “And you’re worse,” he said genuinely, his smile softening. “Now get some rest, cutie. I’ll be right downstairs if you need anything else.”
“You can stay here if you want? Joshua is sleeping on the couch because Soojin’s in his room.”
“Oh, uh. I’ll be alright on the floor downstairs. You get some sleep okay?”
“Goodnight, Cheolie,” she whispered, nearly missing him calling her an affectionate name, her eyes fluttering shut as the warmth of sleep began to envelop her.
“Goodnight, Bunny.” He watched her peaceful expression for a moment, then stood up from the edge of her bed and made his way to the door, feeling a strange mix of emotions. On one hand, he felt pride in being there for her, but a flicker of longing stirred inside him, reminding him of how much he truly fell in love with her.
As he stepped out into the hallway, he leaned against the wall, contemplating going back in there and comforting  her for the night but also how it could affect their friendship and the feelings that lingered just below the surface. Tonight wasn't just another night; it felt like a turning point. Seungcheol had no idea where it would ultimately lead, but for now, he was grateful to be her anchor, even in the midst of uncertainty.
The next morning rolled in like a thunder cloud for y/n, she remembered walking home, but not much after that. She sat up under her pink fuzzy blanket in nothing other than her bra and skirt she had on the night before, her hair smooshed up on the back of her head like a pancake.
She couldn’t remember how she had gotten there but whoever took her upstairs left a glass of water on the nightstand and two tylenol. She smiled, grateful people have always looked out for her like this. Downing the two white pills and the entire glass of water she shot up and headed for the bathroom, walking in non- chalantly thinking nobody was behind the white door. As she turned the knob a voice came ringing in her ears.
“Josh I told you- Oh,” Seungcheol was shirtless with nothing but his wet hair cascading down his face and his towel wrapped around his body parts.” Y/n sorry.. I was just uh.. Finished.”
She slapped her hands over her eyes whispering a sorry and running back into her room, feeling a blush hit her cheeks.
Y/n's heart raced as she slammed the bathroom door shut and ran down the hall slamming her bedroom door shut her back against it, her mind swirling with embarrassment. She could practically feel the heat radiating from her cheeks as she replayed the scene in her head. How had she not realized Seungcheol was right there?
After taking a moment to collect herself, she peeked out through her fingers, her heart still pounding. “No, no, no. Why did I have to walk in like that?” she muttered under her breath, doing her best to calm the embarrassment bubbling up inside her. She could still picture Seungcheol’s surprised expression,
With a deep breath, she reminded herself to take it easy. “You’re both adults. And your friends like it, it's fine.  Mistakes happen,” she whispered, trying to rationalize the embarrassment.
Y/n slowly shuffled back to her bed and flopped down face-first into her pillow, groaning. “Why is this my life?” she lamented silently, wanting to sink into the depths of her blankets and hide from the world altogether.
After a couple of minutes spent wallowing in her own pity, she finally sat up and took stock of the situation. She had to laugh at herself; if anyone could handle a little awkwardness, it was definitely Seungcheol.
With newfound resolve, she decided to brush off the incident. After all, she couldn’t stay cooped up in her room forever, and eventually, she would have to interact with him.
Rubbing her eyes, she stood up, her body still feeling a bit wobbly from the residual effects of last night. She padded over to her wardrobe and found a comfy oversized sweatshirt and a pair of pajama shorts to throw on. Just as she was finishing zipping up the  sweatshirt, her door creaked open, and she heard Seungcheol’s voice.
“Uh... hey, Y/n?”
She froze, heart racing at the thought of confronting him after their embarrassing encounter. “Y-yeah?” she replied, trying to keep her voice steady.
“I just wanted to check if you were okay. I heard you might have had a bit too much fun last night,” he said, his tone laced with gentle teasing but lacking the usual bravado.
Y/n felt her cheeks warm again, but she twisted the moment into playful sarcasm. “Yeah, I clearly have my life together. Who wouldn’t want to walk into a bathroom with a half-naked guy?”
His laughter echoed, and she couldn’t help but smile despite herself. “Well, I wasn’t exactly expecting a guest, either.”
“So, uh, thanks for... you know, taking care of me last night.”
“Of course,” he said softly, his voice filled with sincerity. “I’ll help you with whatever.”
She nodded, feeling a warmth spread through her chest at his words. “Yeah, but still! I really appreciate it.”
Seungcheol’s smile faded slightly, replaced with an earnest expression as he leaned against the doorframe. “Y/n,It’s not a big deal. I’ve been doing it for years, I don’t mind.”
She bit her lip, feeling that familiar flutter in her stomach at the intensity of his gaze and the sincerity behind it. “For real, Cheol. Thanks. I mean it. Just accept the sincerity.”
“Alright, alright,” he said, breaking the moment by giving her a grin, “Want to get some breakfast or something? I’ll whip us up something..”
“That sounds great,” she agreed, “But, I actually have something I need to go do today. How about I see you later? A movie or something maybe?”
“Yeah, you know where to find me.”
“Of course.”
If today was going to be the most awkward day of her life, fine. She could handle it. Now arming herself with coffee, she had the feeling it was going to turn out just fine. What started with a flustered memory could lead to deeper conversations, and maybe even something more. First she had to confront Alex about his infidelity and then she can go back to these thoughts. Still, she giggled to herself as she thought about it—this was definitely going to be a morning they’d both remember.
Y/n parked her car in front of Alex’s apartment complex, her whole drive here she made up fake conversations to have with him in her head some of her intrusive thoughts started to get to her as she imagined much more crazy ways of how to confront him, but she knew she’d cry. She knew how hard it would be for her no matter what his answer was, yes or no, but she had to do it.
Somehow she knew either way that she may be grateful it gave her the courage to break up with him in general.
Getting out of the car, Y/n felt a mix of determination and fear. The weight of unresolved emotions pressed down on her chest as her shoes tapped against the pavement. She took a moment to inhale deeply, trying to steal a bit of calm before walking through the threshold that would dictate the direction of her life. She climbed the few steps to Alex’s building and pressed the intercom buzzer.
After a few moments, a crackling voice came through. “Who is it?”
“It’s Y/n,” she replied, her voice steadier than she felt.
“Y/n? Oh, hey babe.! Come on up!” The excitement in his tone gave her a strange mix of hope and dread. Would he be as cheerful when they talked about the mess that had unfolded?
When she reached his door, she hesitated, heart racing. Did she really want to do this? But even as the question surfaced, she felt the guilt gnawing at her. She owed it to herself.
Gathering her courage, she knocked. After a moment, the door swung open, and Alex stood there, looking casually handsome in a simple tee and jeans, a wide smile on his face. “Hey baby, It’s so good to see you. I thought you were hanging with your brother this weekend?”
“Hey,” she replied, forcing a smile, even as her stomach churned. “Can we talk?”
“Yeah of course. Come in,” he said, stepping aside to let her through. As she entered, a rush of familiarity enveloped her—his scent, the slight clutter that was reminiscent of their time together. It should have felt comforting, but instead, it ignited a sense of dread.
She followed him into the living room, where the remnants of his gaming session littered the floor. The sight pulled at her heartstrings—how many times had they shared moments in this space? But those memories felt crushed by the deceit that loomed over them now.
“Wanna drink something? I just made coffee.” he offered, heading toward the kitchen.
“No, I’m okay, thanks.” Y/n tucked her hair into the back of her sweatshirt, feeling uncharacteristically fidgety. “Alex, I really just need to talk.”
“What’s on your mind?” He settled onto the couch, beaming with an eagerness that pitted her stomach against her better instincts.
She took a breath, the words sticking in her throat. “I... um, I’ve been doing a lot of thinking.”
“Yeah? About what?” His expression shifted to curiosity, and she suspected he had no inkling of the storm about to descend.
“About us, about everything that’s happened,” she started, trying to gauge his reaction. His smile faltered just a bit, and her heart sank. “I found out about the other girl.”
His demeanor changed instantly. The confident glimmer in his eyes vanished, replaced by confusion. “Y/n, I—”
“Let me finish,” she interrupted, her tone firmer than she anticipated. She crossed her arms, drawing strength from her resolve. “I don’t want to hear excuses. I just need to know if you even care at all about what this does to our relationship.”
“I do care! I didn’t mean for it to happen.” He looked defensive, yet Y/n couldn't muster sympathy at this moment.
“Didn’t mean for what to happen? To hurt me? To also keep her a secret?” Her voice was steady, but her chest tightened as emotions swelled within. “How many times did you lie to me? How can I trust anything you say now?”
“Y/n, please. It was a mistake. I never wanted to hurt you,” he pleaded, his expression shifting from confusion to desperation.
“And yet, here we are!” she raised her voice,, feeling the anger rise, mixed with a sorrow that threatened to spill over. “I don’t know if you understand how this makes me feel. I didn’t deserve to be anything less than faithful.”
“Oh and your brothers friend is jus-”
“Shut up for one goddamn second.”
Alex opened his mouth in surprise, as if he was about to argue, but Y/n pressed on, the truth spilling out. “I’ve been trying to convince myself that we could make it work, that you’d change. But the more I think about it, the more I realize—it’s not just a mistake. It’s a choice you made. You don’t actually love me enough to just be with me.”
“Y/n...” he started, but she cut him off again, her gaze unwavering.
“It made me realize I deserve better  than what you’ve given me. I need to take care of myself.”
An overwhelming silence consumed the room. Alex’s face hardened as he processed her words, the reality of what was happening sinking in.
“I just... I thought we had something special,” he muttered, hurt flickering in his eyes.
“We did,” she whispered, a pang of regret cutting through her. “But that’s the thing, Alex. You fucking ruined  it.”
Tears threatened to spill from her eyes, but she squared her shoulders. “We have to break up.”
“Y/n, wait. I can change. I swear! Just give me another chance! I’ll do better!” His plea hung in the air, desperately.
But she knew better now. “I don’t think I can forgive you for this. And I don’t think I want to try. I need to move on and find myself again.”
She turned to leave, heart racing in her chest. As she reached for the doorknob, Alex’s voice caught her once more. “I wish you’d let me explain...”
She paused but didn’t turn around. “There’s nothing left to say, Alex.”
With a shaky breath, she stepped outside, the cool air hitting her like a wave of clarity. Y/n stood for a moment on the threshold, allowing herself to breathe freely for the first time in weeks.
As she walked down the stairs and toward her car, the weight of the conversation pressed upon her, but in a different way. It was a weight lifted.
She took out her phone and texted Seungcheol. “IT'S OVER, lol. Can we still do that movie later? I could really use a friend.”
Seconds later, her phone buzzed with his response. “What’s over? Did you break up with that fucker? Thank god. I can’t wait to hear all about it.”
A smile broke through her earlier sorrow, and she felt the corners of her heart begin to heal just a little. She hadn’t expected this day to lead her in a new direction, but she was ready for whatever came next. One awkward day down, and the next chapter was waiting.
On her drive back y/n knew she shouldn’t be thinking about jumping into her relationship with Seuncheol now, but she also knew she wasted so much time with other jerks never giving him a chance, but it’s what she wanted she just had to figure out how to make it happen.
She pulled into Seuncheol’s driveway, bag of snacks in hand. Shutting her car door with her backside, nearly skipping up to his front door where he stood waiting for her with open arms dressed in his pajamas.
The sight of him, all cozy and relaxed, made her heart flutter. Seuncheol's smile was infectious, and she couldn’t help but return it as she stepped into his warm embrace. The delicious scent of something cooking wafted through the door behind him, complementing the warmth and comfort he radiated.
“Well, well, well, Miss. Bad Bitch,” he exclaimed, pulling away and taking her bag of snacks. “I hope you brought my favorites.”
“Shut up,” she laughed, her heart dancing at how effortlessly they fell into this easy banter. “How could I come empty-handed to thank my therapist?”
Seuncheol chuckled, his eyes twinkling. “Good point. Let’s see what you’ve got.”
Together they sorted through the assortment of chips, candies, and cookies, playfully debating over which treats deserved a spot on their makeshift movie night platter. As they settled onto the couch, their bodies nearly touching, she found herself relaxing in a way she hadn’t in a long time. The earlier unease faded, replaced by a sense of belonging as she sank deeper next to him resting her head on his shoulder swinging around a piece of licorice.
“Alright, so what are we watching?” he asked, remote in hand.
She bit her lip thoughtfully, her heart racing at the idea of sharing this moment with him. “How about something fun? A rom-com?”
“Only if you promise to laugh at all the cheesy parts,” he teased, nudging her playfully.
“How about a bet that whoever cries has to jump in your pool
naked,” she shot back with a smile, feeling a thrill in their playful exchange. The movie began, their laughter filling the space as they munched on snacks, but she felt the real chemistry sparking between them, the edges of her heart warming with every shared glance and gentle touch.
As the story unfolded on the screen, she caught herself stealing glances at him, his focus entirely on the film yet his presence enveloped her like a warm blanket. Somewhere between the jokes and the popcorn fights, the realization struck—this was the moment she had been waiting for, the feeling she had longed to explore.
“Seuncheol,” she said softly, causing him to look over, pausing the movie.
“Yeah?”
“Are you crying?”
“Maybe.”
“Wow. I win!”
Seungcheol punched the air, getting up faster than he ever has, stripping off his hoodie and running out the patio door, y/n chasing behind him, knocking over the entire bowl of popcorn on her way out.
As she turned the corner to go towards his pool he snatched her up, jumping in with her in his arms.
The splash echoed through the night as the cool water enveloped them both. Seungcheol erupted in laughter, the sound bright and full of joy, while Y/N squealed in surprise, her heart racing from the sudden plunge.
As they surfaced, water cascading off their faces, Y/N couldn't help but scold him playfully, “What the Fuck. You could have warned me!” Her hair clung to her face, and she was momentarily blinded, but the thrill of the moment overshadowed any annoyance.
Seungcheol flashed her a cheeky grin, droplets sparkling on his skin. “Where’s the fun in that?” he teased, his eyes mischievous, reflecting the moonlight.
Y/N glared, though her heart was still light. “You’re such an asshole!” she laughed, splashing water back at him, her instincts taking over as they devolved into a playful water fight. He countered with playful throws of water, their laughter mingling in the cool night air—full of energy, warmth, and the promise of summer.
He was talking her through the water, pinning her against his bare chest, they both paused, breathless and giggling their legs brushing against each other as she caught her breath. “You’re going to get us both in trouble,” she said softly, her voice playful yet carrying an underlying affection.
Seungcheol tilted his head, his smile softening. “Maybe. But this is way more fun than sitting inside watching movies.” He reached for her hair, swiping it out of her face, and for a moment, the world faded around them, he took a deep breath and kissed her, rummaging his hands under her sweatshirt which she reciprocated back, tugging at his waist band, dipping her cold fingers underneath to graze him slightly in an area they’ve never explored.
“I’ve been thinking about us,” she confessed, the words tumbling out between their passionate kisses she couldn’t second-guess them. “I know this is sudden.. But, I.. uh.” she left a small whispering moan out of her lips,
Kissing her deeply again smiling into it he just whispered, “But?” and then moved his lips to her neck as she wrapped her legs around his waist.
She took a deep breath, her heart racing. “But I want to give us a chance. I want to see where this could go. I’ve never trusted anyone more than you.”
A  huge smile broke over his face, as he pulled away for just a moment, as if her words were a key that unlocked something deep within him. “Really? You mean it?”
“Yeah,” she nodded, her nerves calming under the intensity of his stare. “I do. I know it’s sudden, but I’ve been in love with you my whole life.”
His eyes widened with surprise “You
you’ve loved me?” The words slipped from his lips, almost hesitant, as if he were afraid to break the spell of the moment.
“Yes,” she replied, her voice steady yet soft, the weight of her confession hanging between them like a fragile thread. “I never thought we’d get to this point, but here we are.”
He leaned in closer again, his forehead resting against hers, feeling the warmth radiating from her skin. “I never wanted to rush you,” he admitted. “I just didn’t know how to tell you how I felt. It’s like
you’ve always been the only person I’ve ever wanted.”
Her heart swelled at his words, a sense of relief enveloping her like a warm blanket. “So what now?” she asked, her tone playful but laced with sincerity.
“Now? We figure it out together.” His voice was low and confident, reassurance flooding her senses. He kissed her forehead gently before pulling back slightly, his hands still locking around her waist. “I want to take our time, get to know each other in this way. There’s no rush.”
“Okay,” she murmured, the smile returning to her lips. She hadn’t realized how much she needed his patient approach, how refreshing it felt to not be hurried into something that had the potential to change everything.
He brushed a strand of hair behind her ear, his thumb caressing her cheek. “Just know that I’m all in.”
Tears pricked at the corners of her eyes, but she blinked them away, caught in the sincerity of his gaze. “You have no idea how long I’ve waited to hear those words.”
“And now that you have, what do you want to do first?” he asked, a twinkle of mischief sparking in his eyes.
She grinned, feeling a rush of excitement flood through her. “How about we start with dinner? A proper date, just the two of us, to celebrate this
us. Build up even more sexual tension between us just to make it fun”
“Dinner it is,” he said, already beaming. “And knowing you a bet to who would break first.”
“My bets on you, Cheol. You’re a man.”
“Sure, Bunny. But you did already have your hands down my pants, I’m thinking you’re already a failure. But, I’ll let it slide this time.”
“Well I’ll try to control myself,” she replied, feeling a thrill of possibility unfolding before them. With newfound hope in her heart, she knew this was only the beginning.

❄ she loves me like a dog
feat.: Valentino & Vox/f!reader
summary: You try and run away from Valentino. It's an entirely stupid idea and backfires spectacularly.
warnings: nsfw content, noncon, physical + psychological abuse, unhealthy relationships, violence, punishments, manipulation, Valentino and Vox are their own warnings, guns, object insertion
Tumblr media
Every demon in Hell, especially ones who had spent quite some time in the V's part of Pentagram City, knew that there was no escaping Valentino's grasp.
With connections that spread like spiderwebs through every part of town, there was nowhere to be safe, nowhere to hide, given how Vox's eyes reached every street, every alley, a phone or a security camera always in each and every corner.
There was nowhere to hide — except for at the Hazbin Hotel, apparently under the protection of the Radio Demon. You had heard Vox whine and bitch about it at one point, anger dripping off his voice, and, despite knowing better, your heart had lept with hope. Days after, you had tried your hardest to ignore each of the silly ideas making themselves at home in your mind; had attempted to not think of running away, of a better life.
And yet, in the end, you hadn't been able to resist temptation.
Every demon in Hell knew that there was no escaping Valentino's grasp.
That was why you had only yourself to blame for the consequences now that he had caught ahold of you once more, the contract, signed with both of your names, floating next to your face in silent mockery.
Tears brimmed in your eyes; your heart threatened to drop out of your chest with how erratically it was beating.
“I'm kinda disappointed, baby”, Valentino drawled, accent coming through thickly, betraying his calm and collected act. A claw, painted golden, hooked underneath your chin, tilting it upwards until your neck ached, your height difference only adding to the unease curling in your stomach. “Tell me, why did you do feel the need to run away like that?”
Your throat felt tight.
“Come on, you can trust me. Trust us.”
The chains, made of red smoke and currently wound tightly enough to leave marks around your wrists and ankles, really did not make you feel like you were able to trust him. Neither did Vox's presence. Admittedly, he had always unnerved you even more than Valentino had, though, right now, his smirk was downright terrifying.
“Was it the working conditions?” Vox crooned, tone lathered with contempt, with amusement. “Were you unhappy with your job? Do tell us. We're always open to criticism, really.”
There was no explanation that could have excused your actions.
Valentino's smirk widened. “Yeah, babe. What was the issue? I mean, you really can't quit, not with our contract, so what was the purpose of trying to run away?”
“I remember just how grateful you were when Val offered you this opportunity years ago. Do you suddenly think you're too good for us?”
Those words, leaving Vox's mouth so easily, finally dragged you far enough back into reality for you to get a noise out, high-pitched and terrified.
“No”, you choked out, quickly shaking your head, panic making you tremble. “No, that's not—”
“No? Then tell us the reason, mi amor.”
You were pretty certain you were in the middle of a panic attack, lungs feeling too small to take any oxygen in. Not that it mattered right now. “I don't know, I wasn't thinking—”
“That's such a shame. If you at least had an explanation, we could go easy on you.” Vox clicked his tongue, not looking like it was a shame at all. “Val, will you do the honours?”
“Already on it, babe.”
With how large of a being Valentino was, it was all too easy to forget just how quickly he was able to move. Pain bloomed on your cheek, your head spinning, and it took quite a moment for you to realise that he had hit you with the hilt of his gun, custom-made.
In the back of your mind, you wondered whether the rhinestones on it had left indents on your skin.
A metallic taste spread in your mouth. “Please—”
“It's a little late to beg”, Vox remarked.
Valentino's smile was all teeth, unkind in nature. “But it's fine, sweetheart, don't worry. I won't fire you.” His hand cupped your aching cheek, then grabbed ahold of your hair, yanking your head back painfully. “You'll be with us forever. Aren't you grateful? We just have to teach you a lesson. Can't have the bitches acting up, now can we?”
You really had no choice but to nod, tears dripping down your face, surely smearing your makeup, though that was the least of your worries as, suddenly, your bonds shifted, chains pulling taut, changing your position until your legs were wrenched apart.
Panties were rarely part of your work clothing, but being fully bare in front of them right now made bile rise up in your throat.
“See, I wanted to fuck you, remind you who you belong to”, Valentino commented, sounding terribly nonchalant. The muzzle of his gun pressed against the soft skin of your inner thigh, the metal cold. “But Voxxy had better ideas.”
Your heart must have stopped at one point, you were certain of it. This must have been a fever dream, a hallucination.
Despite the panicked thoughts running through your scrambled mind, you didn't protest; had no time to, either. Not that it would have been any use.
Before you knew it, Valentino pushed the gun into you, dry, fuck—, the pain making you cry out, voice high-pitched. Unceremoniously, he shoved it further inside, unrelenting until the hilt of it rested against the lips of your cunt, your whole body tense with agony.
“There we go.” Your eyes flickered over to Vox, the way he was palming himself through his trousers obvious even with your blurry sight. “That's hot. Hah—, look, she's even wet.”
At this point, you hardly noticed that you were screaming, throat aching, the thoughts of running away by now merely an unrealistic fantasy, silly, like the wishes of a spoiled child.
You were, in fact, not wet; instead, blood was easing the glide at least a little, albeit it hardly offered any relief.
You must've torn somewhere. Placing the pain seemed to be an impossible task when simply everything hurt.
At least it wasn't going to get worse from here on — it couldn't possibly.
Valentino just loved to prove you wrong.

as you lay on his bed, the sound of raindrops tap against the windows gently as you feel a tear roll down your cheek. his room is softly lit by the glow of the tv which is playing some shitty reality show, with plush blankets and pillows on his bed.
spencer and you met when your friend damien had invited you to be a guest speaker at his ‘funeral’ - where spencer made your sides hurt with how funny he was. from the moment you met him, there was an undeniable chemistry between you. over time, you and spencer started hanging out more, texting and calling, meeting up for coffee before he had to go to work, and you’d also started to convince damien to invite on the channel more often, as an excuse to see him - ian and anthony eventually hiring you to work on art and design.
despite the growing closeness, neither of you ever explicitly acknowledged the romantic tension that occasionally surfaced. your friendship had a mix of intimacy and comfort that neither of you wanted to jeopardize by labeling it. you were each other's confidants, sharing dreams, fears, and everything inbetween.
“hey there, y’okay?” spencer’s voice breaks you from your thoughts, as he walks into his room with two cans of sprite, seeing you blink away tears.
“um, yeah. no. i don’t know” you sit up and wipe your face, sniffling gently, and you cross your legs as he sits to face you on the end of his bed, your knees touching his.
“d’you wanna talk about anything?” he looks into your eyes, gaze soft but firm somehow.
“um,” you look away as you feel more tears forming, a lump creeping into your throat “i just... feel like i'm constantly running, trying to keep up with everything. the videos, the comments, the expectations. it's like... it's never enough, you know?"
spencer nods, his hand moving to rest atop yours. "i get it. this world can be overwhelming. but you don't have to face it alone. we're a team, remember?"
you squeeze his hand, finding a bit of strength in his touch. "i know, it's just... sometimes i feel like i'm letting everyone down. like i'm not good enough."
his eyes soften even more, filled with a tenderness that makes your heart ache in a good way.
"you're more than enough. you bring so much joy and creativity to everything you do. and it's okay to feel overwhelmed. it doesn't mean you're failing."
you take a shaky breath, feeling the weight of his words. "i guess i just need to hear that sometimes. that it's okay to not be perfect."
spencer shifts closer, his other hand cupping your cheek, thumb gently brushing away a stray tear. "no one expects you to be perfect. especially not me. i just want you to be you. because that's more than enough."
his words break something loose inside you, and the tears start to flow freely. spencer pulls you into a gentle hug, holding you as you let out all the pent-up emotions. his embrace is warm and reassuring, a safe haven from the storm raging inside you. you inhale deeply, and notice he smells like old books and coffee,
“it’s okay, you can cry now” he says into you hair as you sob, his fingers gently brushing through you hair
after a while, you pull back slightly, looking up at him with gratitude. "thank you, spencer. for being here, for understanding."
he smiles, a small, comforting smile. "always. you mean a lot to me, y’know that?"
you nod, a small smile of your own forming. "you mean a lot to me too, spence."
he takes a deep breath, and for a moment, you see something flicker in his eyes.
you move yourself next to him, and lay your head on his shoulder, and he presses a soft kiss to the top of your head, as you close your eyes, feeling content in the moment. the sound of the rain, the flickering light of the tv, and the steady beat of his heart lull you into a sense of calm.
and in that quiet moment, with the rain still pattering against the windows, you know that no matter what the future holds, you'll face it together.

SATURDAY MORNING
You were blissfully happy waking up in Toto’s warm embrace, exactly where you had drifted off to sleep following your passionate night. Light was creeping in through the curtains that you didn’t even remember closing last night and you smiled as it dawned on you that Toto must have closed them once you were asleep. Thankfully the storm had passed, leaving a stillness save for Toto’s soft breathing as he slept soundly beside you.
Trying your best not to disturb him, you shifted as you moved over to check the alarm clock on the bedside table to see how early it was. Eight thirty, fuck.
Toto had told everyone to be down for breakfast at nine, ready to hit the ski slopes shortly after. Amid the power cut you’d both forgotten to put your phones on charge so your alarms hadn’t woken you up.
A little nervous about waking the man sleeping next to you, you gently shook his arm. “Morning.”
He still did not stir so you tried again, this time more forcefully. “Hey, wake up
”
“Huh?” came a groan, as he opened his eyes sleepily, his hand drifting to your waist, “What time is it?”
“Eight-thirty,” you said, “I’m sorry to wake you but our alarms didn’t go off.”
“No no don’t be silly.” he said, clutching you closer, his lips ghosting the back of your ear, “Sorry, I should have put our phones on charge when the power came back on.”
”Didn’t it come back on in the middle of the night?” you asked, snuggling back into his arms, content with staying in bed for a while longer.
”Yes, not long after you dropped off.” he said, kissing your shoulder, “I got up to close the curtains.”
“Well, aren’t you slick?” you replied lazily, “Drawing the curtains so we have an excuse to never get out of bed.”
“Hmm,” said Toto, his hands roaming absentmindedly over your body as he spooned you, “I suppose we do need to get dressed. But I don’t want to.”
“Me neither,” you said, pulling his arm back over you.
“You’re a bad influence,” he said, lightly squeezing your thigh before letting go entirely and slipping out of bed.
Pouting, you made a face as he wandered over to the curtains, offering you a prime view of his gym
honed ass.
“Stop looking at my ass,” he said, chuckling as he drew back the curtains, revealing the spectacular morning view of the valley below. The sky was bright and the snow was sparkling, it was the perfect day.
“I actually don’t know which view I prefer,” you said, sitting up in bed, smirking.
“Nice save.” said Toto before coming back over to you, “Now, we don’t have so much time. Do you want to use the bathroom first or do you want to share?”
Showering together was a new level of intimacy that you’d been yet to explore but you figured there was no time like the present to try it, “Let’s share.” you said with a smile.
– – –
Thanks to Toto lathering you up in the shower thoroughly, you’d taken longer to get ready than you’d anticipated. By the time you made yourselves present in the dining room for breakfast, your guests had almost finished eating.
“Good morning,” said Toto, brazen in his tardiness.
“Morning boss.” replied James with a wink, “I see your game, tell us to wake up early and give yourself a lie in.”
“I’m sure he was otherwise occupied,” John added with a knowing smirk, one of the few people who would dare try and tease Toto.
Toto chuckled, sitting down beside you, pouring you both a coffee and grabbing some pastries. “Work-life balance, James. Some of us have mastered it.”
James, not missing a beat, grinned. “Yeah, I’m sure you were busy working hard this morning.”
Toto raised his coffee cup with a mock-serious nod, “As always.”
As the table laughed, you clocked Sam and Darren looking at each other, surprised to see their boss so relaxed. Less amused was George, whose eyes flickered to you more than once and although he tried to mask it, there was no mistaking the way his jaw tightened when his eyes found Toto. To his left, Elisa simply looked a little bored. You still could not figure her out.
“So, we were just talking about today’s plan” John started as the laughter died down, “What were you thinking Toto? Looks like the perfect powder day.”
“Well, I have promised some ski lessons, so we will be taking to the blue runs this morning.” he said, slipping his arm around you, “But I know some of you already ski well and George is keen to try the black runs so I suggest we split and reconvene at lunchtime. What do you all think?”
Murmurs echoed around the table as the group found Toto’s plan agreeable. You were slightly nervous as you were not confident with skiing but Toto had assured you he’d be patient.
“Sounds good to me boss.” said George, “Who’s up for the blacks?”
“Count me in,” Sam said, a competitive glint in his eye.
Darren nodded eagerly. “Me too. Just try to keep up, George.”
Elisa let out a dramatic sigh. “I guess I’ll have to keep an eye on you boys, so you don’t do anything stupid.”
George shot her a glance, clearly not thrilled with her sarcasm. “Thanks for the vote of confidence.”
“Anytime,” she replied curtly.
Clocking their awkward interaction, Cara caught your eye, raising an arched brow. It was certainly a strange dynamic and not one you expected for a new couple. Even when your relationship was fraught you wouldn’t have said something like that to George.
Breaking the tension, John countered, “I’ll come too, Elisa. These boys are troublemakers eh?”
Smiling slightly Elisa nodded, “Great.” She was hard work for sure.
“Anybody else?” asked George, looking around the table, brushing off Elisa’s frostiness.
“No way.” said Marion, “I’ll be on the blues, I’m on holiday, not at boot camp.”
James laughed in agreement, “Same, plus with my dodgy knee, blues are probably for the best. I’m getting old!”
“That’s more than fair.” said George, “How about you Cara?”
“I’ll keep an eye on James.” she said, “Last year he took a tumble and he can’t be trusted.”
‘Oh yes, the infamous tumble.” said John, trying to stifle a laugh, “Sponsored by the air ambulance.”
“Don’t remind me.” said James, “Humiliating.”
“What happened?” you asked Toto quietly.
“You know these guys, always competitive.” he said, gesturing at them, “They decided to go off-piste on an adventure and long story short, James cracked his ankle and had to be airlifted to hospital.”
“Oh shit, I never heard about this!” you said, “Well hopefully that won’t happen on this trip.”
“You and me both,” said James smiling dryly.
“Indeed. Well, I think we have a plan, shall we get ready and reconvene in ten minutes?” Toto said, glancing at the clock. “We don’t want to miss the best of the morning powder.”
As everyone finished their coffees, you could feel George’s eyes lingering on you again. It made you slightly uneasy but Toto seemed oblivious, content to finish his croissant and hit the slopes as quickly as possible.
– – –
Having suited and booted with some help from a bemused Greta, you’d made it outside. Out on the slopes, the day was stunning, crisp air, clear skies and the perfect layer of powdered snow. As discussed the group had split with George leading half of the group to the black runs, whilst you stayed on the blue runs, eager to improve your technique with Toto’s help.
You should have been confident, but as you started your descent on your first run, nerves took hold and no amount of encouragement from Toto could keep you from feeling slightly out of your depth. Although it was just a blue, the least challenging colour for Austrian slopes, it felt steeper than you had expected.
“Just take it slow,” Toto called out from beside you, his voice reassuring. “You’re doing great.”
“I feel like Bambi,” you muttered, your legs trembling as you tried to stay upright.
He laughed, skiing effortlessly alongside you. “You look a lot better than Bambi.”
Despite his best efforts, your nerves got the better of you and in the middle of a particularly sharp turn, you lost your balance. Before you could stop yourself, you toppled sideways, falling into the soft snow with a thud. You let out a groan, wiping snow off your face as you lay sprawled on the ground.
Toto immediately skidded to a stop and instead of helping you up, lowered himself down beside you, laughing, “Well, that was elegant.”
You couldn’t help but laugh too, “You’re supposed to help me, not join me!”
“I couldn’t leave you down here alone,” he said, grinning as he lay back on the snow, his head resting on his arms. “Besides, it’s nice down here. We should make snow angels.”
"You’re ridiculous,” you said, shaking your head but smiling despite yourself. You unclipped yourself and lay back beside him.
“Tradition after a fall,” Toto teased, nudging your leg. “Come on, snow angels.”
You let out a playful sigh, moving your arms and legs to join in, both of you laughing like children.
When you finally sat up, catching your breath, Toto was having none of it and pulled you back down to lie on top of him, your helmets and goggles clashing slightly as he leaned up for a kiss.
“Thank you,” you said, resting your hand on his chest.
“What for?” he asked, squeezing you closer.
“For not making me feel like shit for falling over.” You glanced up the slope, where George and the others were likely tackling the black runs. Memories surfaced of your last ski trip with George and how he’d only offered a hand with an impatient shake of his head whenever you fell. There had been no lying in the snow laughing together.
Toto followed your gaze and reached out, brushing snow from your cheek. “Everybody falls.” he said, his eyes concerned, “It’s part of learning, you’re doing great.”
You gave a small nod and a smile, your heart pounding, not from the fall, but from the man sprawled out on the snow beneath you.
“Let’s get back up,” he said, lifting you to your feet before pulling himself up too. “You’ve got this.”
As you both brushed off the snow, you felt a surge of determination. “Okay, okay, I’m going to try again. And this time I’m not going to fall.”
Toto chuckled, adjusting his goggles. “I’ll hold you to that. Just remember, confidence is key.”
With a nod, you pushed off again, heart racing. The snow felt softer beneath your skis this time, but as you approached another turn, the nerves crept back in. You focused on the rhythm, just like Toto had shown you, but just as you began to gain some speed, a small bump caught you off guard.
“Shit!” you shouted, your skis slipping out from under you as you tumbled sideways again, landing in a fluffy pile of snow.
“Not going to fall again huh?” Toto called out, amusement dancing in his eyes as he skied up next to you, extending a gloved hand to help you up, “You’re making this look like an Olympic sport.”
“Very funny,” you replied, “At this rate, I’ve won the Gold.”
He chuckled, squeezing your waist as he handed your pole back to you, “There’s that winning mentality.”
As you regained your footing, you spotted George and the others zipping down a steep black run in the distance. George was flying along with Elisa alongside him and you couldn’t help but feel inadequate. Intrusive thoughts entered your mind but you tried your best to shake them off and turned your attention back to Toto.
“Ready to give it another go?” he asked, his tone encouraging.
“Yeah, let’s do this,” you replied, buoyed by Toto’s kind smile. He really had the patience of a saint.
With a fresh focus, you tackled the slope again, taking Toto’s advice and making it a decent way down before the familiar wobbles crept in. Only this time, you kept your nerve and nailed the next turn.
“There you go,” Toto cheered, skiing alongside you. “That’s much better.”
“Thanks! I think I might be getting the hang of it,” you grinned, your confidence growing.
As you reached the bottom, you were greeted by the view of Cara, Marion and James waiting for you at the cafe at the bottom, bundled up in their jackets, sipping hot chocolates from steaming mugs. They had decided to take it easy, and they were clearly enjoying the show, clapping enthusiastically as you approached the terrace.
“You did it!” Cara called out, her face glowing with pride.
“Well, I had a very patient teacher,” you said, brushing snow from your goggles and turning towards Toto as he skied up next to you.
“Looks like you’ve got yourself a fan club,” he said teasingly.
“Of course, we were all rooting for you!” Marion added, raising her mug in salute. “You’re getting there.”
You laughed, feeling a warm flush of accomplishment. “Progress, right?”
“Absolutely,” Cara said, giving you a playful nudge. “I’d say you’re officially a skier now. Just don’t go challenging anyone to a race just yet. I know what this lot are like!”
“Agreed,” Marion said, looking over at James. “Let’s not have another air ambulance situation on our hands.”
James raised his hands in mock surrender. “Hey, I learned my lesson. I’m here for moral support, not for reliving that disaster.”
As the group finished up their hot chocolates, readying themselves to return to the slopes, you felt a lightness in the air. The atmosphere was infinitely more comfortable without George’s glowering, Sam and Darren’s jibes and Elisa’s stony-faced judging. You turned back to Toto, who was now watching you with an affectionate smile. “What’s next, coach?” you asked.
“Do you want to tackle that run again? I want to see you take those turns like a pro,” Toto replied.
“Okay, but you’re coming with me again, right?” you asked, feeling a flicker of nervousness again.
“Of course,” he assured you, “I like the view when I ski behind you.”
“Very funny,” you said, “Okay, let’s do this thing.”
“Remember, slow and steady,” Toto reminded you as you started to make your way to the lift.
“Yeah, yeah, I got it. No more Olympic tumbles,” you joked, rolling your eyes as Toto led the group back to the queue for the lift.
Once he was out of earshot, James leaned over, smirking. “You know, I think you’ve officially stolen Toto’s heart. Just look at him.”
Cara nudged him, laughing. “Are you jealous my love?”
“Not at all,” he protested, feigning offence. “Just stating what I see. But seriously, it’s good to see him in such high spirits.”
Marion nodded. “For sure, I never dreamt we would see him lying down in the snow making snow angels.”
Your cheeks flushed at their compliments and you glanced towards Toto, who was busy chatting animatedly with the lift operator. He turned, catching your eye and winked. Perhaps the group was right? When you’d been with George and gone to watch him race, Toto had always seemed serious, somewhat dour at times. Now he was out here smiling, laughing and throwing himself down into the snow without a care in the world. Life could take some crazy turns sometimes.
– – –
On the lift, you found yourself squashed between Toto and Marion, nerves creeping back in as the anticipation of the next run grew. Ever observant, Toto reached for your hand, squeezing it reassuringly as the lift approached the top.
Once you had disembarked, Toto turned to you with a smile. “Ready?”
You inhaled deeply, trying to steady yourself. “Do I have a choice?”
He chuckled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. “No, but you’ve got this.”
With that, you both pushed off together, gliding down the slope. You focused on his advice, slow and steady, controlling each turn and this time, something clicked. Instead of feeling anxious, you allowed yourself to enjoy the speed and the rush of cold air against your face as you flew down.
“See? Told you you’d get the hang of it!” Cara shouted from the terrace, where she was already unclipping her skis.
Toto laughed, his eyes sparkling with pride as he made his way over to you. “Next stop, the red runs. But first, hot chocolate?”
“Now you’re talking!” you replied, heart bursting with happiness. You’d never managed a full run without falling and you knew it was unlikely you’d pull it off twice. Carefully unclipping your skis beside Toto and Cara, you were grateful to be back on solid ground as you stepped onto the cafe terrace.
As Toto and James disappeared to get a round of hot chocolates, you settled down at one of the wooden tables beside Cara and Marion, noticing George and the rest of your group coming down the black run, all looking a bit dishevelled but laughing.
George’s laughter rang out and you caught the eye of Elisa, who seemed less than pleased with the men’s antics. “Looks like they survived after all,” you remarked, nudging Cara playfully.
“Barely!” she laughed. “They’ll probably be banging on about doing the black runs all day.”
“Lord spare me,” Marion groaned, eyeing her husband with mock exasperation.
You watched as the group came closer, coming to join you for your very early aprĂšs ski. John had a huge grin on his face, animatedly recounting a moment when he had nearly wiped out while trying to keep pace with George. Sam and Darren were both clapping him on the back, clearly enjoying the show.
“What did we miss?” George asked, clipping his helmet on the back of the chair opposite you, his cheeks flushed from the cold and excitement.
“Oh, just the usual, me falling over about four hundred times,” you said, gesturing to the snow around you.
“Hey, we all have our talents,” he replied, a teasing smile playing on his lips. “But seriously, you look like you’re getting better. I saw you on that last run.”
“Thanks,” you replied, surprised at how cordial George was being.
“I also saw you making snow angels,” George said, his expression shifting for a moment as he glanced at Toto who was now returning with a tray of hot chocolate, James by his side. You could sense an underlying tension, but you brushed it aside.
“It had to be done,” you laughed, trying to keep the mood light.
As Toto and James settled at the table, passing out drinks, the group’s laughter rose again, cutting through the cold breeze. You’d been cautious about showing too much affection with Toto around George but now the chill was biting and you couldn’t resist shifting closer to Toto for warmth.
You glanced at George, now deep in conversation with Elisa, though something in his demeanour made you uneasy. Was it jealousy or something else? You shook it off, turning your attention back to the breathtaking view of the mountains surrounding you.
Toto leaned in, his voice low and warm. “You okay?”
“Yeah,” you whispered, nestling closer to him. “Just a little cold.”
Pulling you closer, his arm wrapping around you with ease, “Are you sure it’s just the cold?” he asked softly.
You nodded, knowing he could see right through you. “Yeah, I’m fine. Just taking it all in.”
Toto’s gaze followed yours to George and Elisa. His jaw clenched briefly before he turned back to you, his expression softening. “If you need to get away, we can. No rush.”
You shook your head. “No, I’m having a great time,” you reassured him, lifting your hot chocolate with a smile. “And besides, I’m not missing out on this.”
He chuckled, pulling you closer. “Fair enough. Just say the word.”
As the group's chatter continued around you, you felt a fleeting pang watching George and Elisa. But then Toto squeezed your shoulder, anchoring you to the present.
"Ready for another run after this?" he asked.
"Absolutely," you replied, smiling up at him.
SATURDAY AFTERNOON
By the time you returned to the chalet, your muscles aching from a full morning of skiing followed by a boozy schnitzel-and-chips lunch, the heated pool had never appealed more. Toto had left you to change alone as he needed to wrap up some business with James and John, so you’d taken your time upstairs slipping into your swimsuit, savouring a few moments of solitude.
As you made your way down to the pool area, you could already hear the others' voices echoing around. Toto was perched on the edge, his legs dipping into the water as he was deep in conversation with James and John. Cara and Marion were leisurely swimming laps, their quiet chatter carrying over the gentle ripple of the water.
At the far end of the pool, Elisa lounged in a skimpy white bikini, her attention seemingly fixed on George, who hovered nearby, nodding along at whatever story she was spinning. She had been glued to his side all day, though George’s interest seemed half-hearted. Sam and Darren were sprawled on the lounge chairs behind them chatting away.
The instant you stepped into the warm pool, you sighed in relief. The tension in your body seemed to melt away as you found a quiet spot in the pool, closing your eyes to finally relax. Before long, though, Elisa’s voice drifted your way.
“Love your swimsuit,” she called over, her tone friendly enough, though something was off, “So classic.”
You returned her smile, choosing not to overthink it. Before you could respond, Cara, always quick to back you up, floated by. "Yes, a one-piece is always elegant. Sometimes bikinis can be a bit... much," Cara said, casting a sidelong glance at Elisa.
Marion gave a knowing laugh as she swam up beside Cara. "Especially when you’ve got a body like hers. No need to flaunt everything to look good."
Elisa’s mouth tightened for a fraction of a second, but the message was received. You exchanged a grateful glance with Cara and Marion, the two older women certainly had your back. Elisa’s smirk faltered, though the look she gave you made it clear she wasn’t backing down entirely.
Oblivious to yours and Elisa’s exchange, Toto, wrapping up his conversation with James, finally stood and wandered over to where you floated, a mischievous smile playing at the corners of his mouth. He crouched at the pool's edge, his eyes twinkling.
“How’s the water?” he asked, his gaze locked on you as if the rest of the world had momentarily disappeared.
“Perfect,” you said, letting the warmth relax you. “You should come in.”
He grinned, not needing to be asked twice. A second later, he jumped in, the splash hitting Elisa who squealed in annoyance. You couldn’t help but laugh and for a brief moment, you felt vindicated.
Elisa shot Toto an irritated look, but he seemed unbothered, floating over to you and discreetly wrapping an arm around your waist. “You’re not tired of me yet?” he teased softly, his voice low enough that only you could hear.
“Not even close,” you whispered back with a smile.
As you drifted together, your gaze wandered to the side of the pool where George sat beside Elisa, watching the two. Noticing his lingering looks, his companion leaned closer and whispered something in his ear, her eyes flicking to you before giving a self-satisfied smile.
Toto followed your gaze, catching George’s glare and his hold on you tightened slightly. His easygoing demeanour didn’t falter, but you could feel the subtle shift in his mood. “Come on,” he whispered, guiding you towards the far pool edge. “Let’s get some space, I’ll show you the sauna.”
Without drawing much attention, the two of you made your way out of the pool, changing out of your wet swimwear and wrapping yourselves in towels as you padded toward the sauna. The small wooden room was warm and inviting, the heat hitting you as soon as you stepped inside. Toto shut the door behind you and at long last, it was just the two of you.
You immediately sat down on the wooden bench, leaning back as the heat started to work its magic on your tired muscles. It was even better than the pool. You closed your eyes and sighed contently “This is heaven.”
“Are you not taking off your towel?” said Toto, sitting on the bench beside you with a creak, his hand resting on your thigh, the casual touch sending a shiver up your spine.
“Huh?” you said, opening your eyes to find a very naked Toto sitting beside you. “Is that a thing here? What if someone sees?”
That earned a deep laugh, “You’re concerned about someone seeing you naked
 in a sauna?”
“Yes.” you said, “Why is that so funny?”
“It’s expected here. People will stare at you if you keep the towel on.” Toto teased, “But do what you want, it’s just me.”
Grateful that the dim light of the sauna concealed your creeping blush, you felt silly. “I never knew that, I thought that was a Scandinavian thing.”
Toto mused, stroking your thigh, “You make me laugh.”
“Glad I can keep you entertained,” you said dryly before standing up and whipping your towel off dramatically, baring all in front of him, “Happy now, Mr Wolff?”
“Very.” he said, gripping your hips and pulling you close to him, pressing a kiss to your bare stomach, “Come, sit down.”
Taking your seat once more, the heat enveloped you. This was exactly what you needed to cure your aching muscles. Noticing Toto grab his shoulder and wince, you leaned over and gently started massaging, your fingers gliding over his warm skin.
As your fingers worked their magic, you could feel the tension in Toto's shoulders begin to melt away beneath your touch. “Mmm, that’s good,” Toto said with a teasing grin, his voice low and smooth as he leaned back into your hands. “I might just make you my personal masseuse.”
“Oh, I see how it is. Is that how you plan to keep me around?” you quipped, continuing your gentle kneading. “By making me your travelling spa therapist?”
Toto chuckled softly, the sound echoing in the quiet sauna. “Perhaps. I could get used to this.”
You laughed, your fingers gliding down to his upper back, where the muscles were knotted. “Be careful, I might start charging.”
“Oh really?” he replied, his eyes sparkling with mischief. “How much?”
You giggled, the sound mingling with the warmth of the room. “Some cuddling tonight, maybe a ski lesson, another snorkel rescue mission?”
“Deal,” he said, nodding seriously before breaking into a grin. “Although you may have to wait until Summer for any more snorkel action.”
You snorted, “How did you manage to make that sound dirty? You’re lowkey such a dirty old man.”
“Old?” he feigned, “You didn’t call me old last night.”
“TouchĂ©.,” you said, admitting, “Last night was
I don’t know what to say.”
Toto turned and quirked an eyebrow, “That bad?”
“Shut up,” you said, playfully batting him on the shoulder before returning to massaging his muscled upper back, “You’re good and you know it.”
“You did tell me the sex on the yacht was the best you’d ever had.” He grinned, clearly enjoying this.
“Did I really?” you said, cringing slightly. “Well, top ten, I guess.”
“Ten?” he replied, grabbing your hand and dragging it down his chest, getting dangerously lower.
“Okay, top five,” you said, your breath quickening as you sensed where this was heading.
“That’s more like it,” he said, turning his head slightly to catch your eye. “But seriously, you should know that I felt the same way.”
You smiled, feeling a rush of warmth that had little to do with the sauna. “High praise coming from someone so
old,” you replied with a teasing lilt.
His eyes glinted with mischief as he replied, “Old enough to know a good thing when I see it.”
Before you could respond, he pulled you around into his lap, capturing your lips with his in a soft, lingering kiss. When he finally pulled back, you both took a moment to breathe, your foreheads resting against each other. “Wow,” he said, his voice husky. “I could get used to that.”
You giggled softly, pressing your bare chest against his, feeling his heart pounding as much as yours was, “Me too.”
As you dipped for another kiss, laughter echoed from outside the sauna. In the heat of the moment you’d forgotten that the sauna was open to all.
“Great,” Toto murmured, rolling his eyes.
“I told you we should’ve brought the drinks!” Sam’s voice rang out, followed by Darren’s cheerful agreement. “Gotta stay hydrated.”
As they approached the door, you could hear them debating whether to just walk in. “Hold up, where did Toto go?” Darren suggested, his voice growing louder.
“Maybe we should put the towels back on?” you whispered to Toto, glancing down at your bare skin, feeling a rush of shyness wash over you.
“Maybe,” he replied with a grin, gripping your ass firmly, “but where’s the fun in that?” He looked at you with a glimmer of mischief, pulling you closer to him, covering your modesty with his hands, “I won’t let them see anything.”
Suddenly, the door swung open and Sam and Darren burst in, eyes wide with surprise. “Whoa!” Sam exclaimed, “Sorry to interrupt!”
“Yeah,” Darren added, his face furiously red before he span around dramatically, “We’ll come back later.”
You quickly reached for your towel, as Toto shrugged, feigning nonchalance. “We were just enjoying the heat. No big deal.”
“Right,” Sam said, desperately looking anywhere but in front of him. “We’ll just grab a drink and give you some space. Would you like anything?”
You could feel your cheeks heat up even more, glancing at Toto, who was doing his best to keep a straight face. “We’re okay for now,” you replied, still smiling but feeling the warmth of embarrassment.
“Suit yourselves,” Sam said, stumbling as he turned to head back outside. “Sorry again boss.”
As the door swung shut, Toto looked at you, a mixture of amusement and exasperation on his face. “Well, that was a great way to kill the mood.”
You couldn’t help but giggle, carefully lifting yourself off Toto’s lap and returning to your seat beside him, “I suppose we’ll have to pick up where we left off later?”
“Definitely,” he said, his eyes twinkling with promise.
You settled back onto the bench, rewrapped your towel and leaned your head on his shoulder, letting the gentle steam of the sauna envelop you both. So much for a moment alone, but you knew that you’d have time later that evening.
SATURDAY EVENING
Dinner that night was a lively affair, the long wooden table filled with laughter and the rich aroma of fondue. The fire crackled in the background, adding warmth to the room. Marion and John, ever the social butterflies, kept the conversation flowing smoothly, while Greta and Klaus flitted around the table, ensuring the wine glasses were constantly topped up.
Sam and Darren, who were usually more vocal, sat noticeably quieter across from you and Toto. You caught their occasional glances and exchanged a knowing look with Toto, both of you aware of what was on their minds.
Once dinner plates were cleared away, Marion stood up with a gleam in her eye. "Earlier, Toto suggested a games night!" she announced, clapping her hands together with enthusiasm. "And as you all know, I love a good wager. How about we start with charades?"
Excited murmurs spread through the group. Greta handed out pens and paper and soon the room filled with the sound of scribbling as everyone jotted down increasingly ridiculous charade suggestions. You glanced at Toto, wondering if he had something difficult planned for his picks. He caught your eye and winked, of course, he wouldn’t make this easy.
As the group settled in, Marion distributed a bowl for everyone to drop their slips of paper into. Just as you were about to dive into the game, Marion, her voice tinged with mischief, turned to the group, her eyes landing on George. “You know, this reminds me of that night on Toto’s yacht when we played Never Have I Ever,” she said with a grin.
John perked up immediately. “Ah yes, that was quite a night,” he said. You gulped as you recalled George taking things too far that night.
George immediately shifted in his seat, already knowing where this was headed. His cheeks flushed as Marion continued, unable to resist. “George, you were so embarrassed!” she teased, nudging him. “What was it you said during that game that had everyone in stitches?”
James chimed in, his grin widening. “Something about walking in on Toto in the garage in a, let’s say, compromising position.”
George’s face turned bright red as everyone started to chuckle, “I was tipsy, alright? I said more than I should’ve,” he muttered, clearly still embarrassed from that particular memory. “Sorry again Toto.”
“It wasn’t that bad,” Toto reassured him, trying to stay stoic.
At that, Darren and Sam exchanged a look and Sam couldn’t resist joining in the teasing. “Speaking of compromising positions,” he said, leaning back in his chair, a smirk spreading across his face. “Darren and I had quite the walk-in moment earlier today.”
“Oh no,” you murmured under your breath, feeling the heat rise to your face as you realized where this was going. It was your turn to be embarrassed.
Sam leaned in, his voice low but loud enough for everyone to hear. “Let’s just say we walked in on Toto
 in a very compromising situation.”
Darren snickered. “Yeah, in the sauna of all places.”
All eyes turned toward you and Toto as a ripple of nervous laughter spread across the group. Sam and Darren were younger members of the team and it was rather bold of them to tease their boss in his own home.
Toto's face tightened and his jaw clenched slightly,  “Sam...” he warned.
Sam, undeterred, kept going. “Oh, don’t worry, Toto wasn’t alone.” He winked at the group, his grin only growing wider.
“Oh?” John said, sparking up, clearly enjoying where this was headed.
Darren laughed, nodding enthusiastically. “Yeah, turns out the sauna wasn’t just for relaxing, if you know what I mean.”
The group erupted into laughter, Marion gasped in mock shock, though a grin tugged at her lips. “Toto! And here I thought you were the gentleman of the group.”
Sam, encouraged by the reactions, waggled his eyebrows and added, “You should’ve seen his face. The man was living his best life.”
George glowered, throwing you an angry look before Elisa tapped him on the arm, whispering something in his ear that seemed to calm him down, as she did earlier.
Toto, his patience visibly thinning, folded his arms, his voice low and sharp. “Alright, that’s enough.”
Sam and Darren exchanged a glance, still amused but sensing they were treading on thin ice. “Okay, okay,” Darren said, holding his hands up, “But you can’t blame us, you did say we could use the sauna any time.”
“Yeah, next time maybe put a do not disturb sign?” Sam quipped, though his voice had softened, knowing they’d pushed Toto to his limit.
“Or a Mercedes-branded tie over the door handle,” said George, joining in with his friends, having stayed quiet until now. You shot him a look and he shrugged, not worried about angering Toto.
Toto shot the three younger men a hard look before leaning back in his chair, clearly done with their teasing. “I’ll remember that for next time,” he said flatly, his voice edged with annoyance.
Marion, sensing the tension, tried to keep the situation light-hearted. “Oh, you three,” she said, shaking her head at Sam, Darren and George. “Let them have their fun in peace.”
“Alright, alright, we’ll drop it,” Sam said, suitably chastised.
“Well then,” John jumped up, clapping his hands, “I think we’ve embarrassed enough people for one night. Shall we get on with charades?”
Everyone eagerly shifted their focus back to the impending game of charades, following John’s lead as he moved to the living room.
“We’ll split into two teams,” Marion announced, “Who’s ready to make a fool of themselves?”
The group quickly divided into teams and took their places on opposite sofas. It was men vs women, with you, Cara, Marion and Elisa teaming up against Toto, George, John, James, Sam and Darren.
“Hang on, I think the boys have an advantage!” said Marion, reaching out to grab her husband by the crook of his arm, “John joins us.”
John shrugged his shoulders before plopping himself down on the sofa beside his wife, “Sorry guys, I have no choice.”
“That’s okay, we’ll still win.” said James, “Cara is an automatic handicap.”
“You are awful, you’re sleeping on the balcony tonight” quipped Cara, throwing her husband a dirty look.
– – –
During a lull in the game, you found yourself alone in the kitchen, grabbing another bottle of wine for the group, Greta and Klaus having gone to bed for the night. The soft sound of footsteps behind you made you turn and there was George, standing in the doorway, his expression unreadable.
“Hey,” he said quietly, leaning against the counter.
“Hey,” you replied, suddenly feeling like you were back in the past, caught in a moment that didn’t quite fit the present. George had been giving you funny looks all evening but Elisa had been glued to him so you hadn’t spoken much.
There was an awkward pause before George finally spoke again. “So, I guess this is really happening, huh?”
You frowned slightly. “What do you mean?”
He glanced towards the doorway leading back to the others, then back at you. His voice lowered, more serious now. “You and Toto. It’s serious, isn’t it?”
The question landed heavily between you, far weightier than it should’ve been. The conversation felt loaded, fraught with things left unsaid. You thought you’d been clear when you last spoke in your flat, and you both had supposedly made peace with the past. Now, it seemed like old wounds were still festering beneath the surface.
You hesitated, choosing your words carefully. “George
 we’ve been through this.”
“I know,” he said quickly, cutting you off with a sigh. He shoved his hands into his pockets as if bracing himself. “But seeing you two. I don’t know. Guess I thought I’d be more okay with it by now.”
His words hung in the air, the weight of them pulling you both into an uncomfortable silence. This wasn’t fair, to you or to him. You’d thought that chapter was closed and he’d moved on with Elisa, even if their dynamic was a little strange at times.
Before you could respond, Toto appeared in the doorway, his expression sharp as he took in the scene. “Everything okay in here?”
The air between the three of you crackled with tension.
George straightened, his jaw tightening. “Yeah, we’re fine.”
Toto’s eyes didn’t leave George’s face. “Good,” he said coolly. “Look, I know this has not been easy for anyone but we are all adults and you have Elisa now, don’t forget. I invited you here because I want things to be easier going forward, for all of us. And for what it’s worth, I value your friendship, George. I know I’ve let you down.”
George didn’t back down, but after a tense beat, he gave a curt nod, not saying a word and walked past Toto, brushing his shoulder as he went. You let out a breath you hadn’t realized you’d been holding.
Toto turned to you, his expression softening. “Are you alright?”
You nodded, though the knot in your chest hadn’t fully loosened. “Yeah, I’m fine. Thank you.”
He studied your face for a moment longer, as if searching for something unsaid before he leaned in and pressed a soft kiss to your forehead. His lips lingered for a beat longer than usual.
“I’m sorry,” he murmured, his breath warm against your skin.
You didn’t ask what he was apologising for, whether it was for inviting George, for the difficult position you were both in or for the emotions this trip had stirred up. Maybe it was all of it.
– – –
The night wound down with everyone in good spirits, but you couldn’t shake the weirdness of the conversation in the kitchen with George. After the games and the laughter, you found yourself in the bedroom with Toto, tucked up in bed while he got ready.
“Do you think that George still has feelings for me?” you asked as Toto made his way out of the bathroom.
He didn’t react at first, remaining silent as he pulled back the covers and slipped in beside you, his expression unreadable as he rested against the headboard. “I know he does,” he said quietly.
You looked at him, waiting for more, but he didn’t elaborate.
“Toto
” you began, the words coming out before you could stop them. “Does it bother you?”
He sighed, finally turning to face you, “It doesn’t bother me that he has feelings for you,” he said after a moment. “But it bothers me that you seem worried about it.”
You swallowed, unsure of what to say.
“I trust you,” Toto added, his tone calm but firm. “But if George’s feelings are going to be an issue, we need to deal with it..”
You nodded, appreciating his straightforwardness. “You’re right. I just
I didn’t expect it to be this complicated.”
“Life’s always complicated,” he said, “But we’ll figure it out.”
You turned away from Toto, your back to him, lost in thought. It wasn’t long before you felt him wrap an arm around you, pulling you close, but the warmth that usually comforted you felt different tonight. There was an unspoken tension and as sleep slowly crept in, you wondered if this was just the beginning of something much more complicated.

hips don't lie | (s)
Tumblr media
pairing: alex quackity x reader
words: 2.5k
warnings: sexual content, drinking (of age), sexual dancing, mild voyeurism, mild public sex, bathroom sex, unprotected sex, pre-established relationship
summary: alex knows you think he's hot. when you're all out and about, the pressure builds till you both can't take it anymore.
The two of you dressed in tandem, slipping past each other to apply perfume and perfectly tie a tie. Still, neither of you could hide the longing glances at the silhouette of Alex's body or the whisper of promise accentuated by your curves. Alex watches you work through your make-up routine while he sits on the bed, already ready.
"Is–what's his name–going to be there? Roier?"
Alex stands and draws close to you, crowding your inner bubble and resting a chin on your shoulder, "yeah, but he'll probably be busy with Sabi. Did I tell you how good you look in this dress, hm?"
You have to remember that you have somewhere to be when you feel Alex's hands possessively glide down the bones of your hips, circling back to your ass and squeezing.
"You did, actually, when I bought it," you smirk at him through the mirror, clipping in an earring, "don't get handsy. We need to leave soon."
"I'm not getting handsy! I'm just appreciating your body. I mean, how could I not?"
Alex says it so genuinely, lips quirked up as he wraps his arms around you comfortingly. You know he means every compliment, every embrace, every little instance reminded you that he truly loved you. The two of you glance at each other before your lips are joined in a heated kiss that your boyfriend eagerly accepts. A dominant hand splays across your lower back, tugging you chest to chest; his free hand slips down and grabs a handful of your behind, "Alex!"
"Sorry," he cheekily laughs, pecking your lips softly once more, "let's get going."
He leaves your heart beating and thighs squeezing together most unfairly. He was so devastatingly attractive, with a demeanor that made you feel like a princess. Your lips twist into a pout while you punch his arm, "that's what I've been saying, actually!"
"Oh, is that what you were saying?"
Your boyfriend's already grabbed his keys as wiggly fingers tickle your waist in the doorway. Alex feels his heart grow as you laugh, hair messily bouncing as your lifted lashes fluttered at him, "stop it! You're gonna ruin my hair, Lex."
He heeds your request, unlocking the front door to your shared apartment before pausing before you.
"Hey, I love you," he says.
The blush starts at your cheeks before encapsulating your head in flames. It's so mushy, brown eyes round like boba sparkling at you as he lets himself have a moment of vulnerability. Your hand comes to cup his cheek, and you feel as if you're precisely where you need to be, your thumb coming up just short of the mole under his eye.
"I love you too," and your empathetic eyes begin to well.
As in tune with you as always, Alex is quick to wave away tears by pulling you close into the warmth of his side.
"Don't cry! I didn't say that just for you to cry. Besides, how can you cry when we're having drinks tonight?"
Alex's ever-present excitement for drinking doesn't go unnoticed by you; it's enough to wipe a lone tear and peck his jaw, "nothing could ever stop me from drinking with you. I still watch that video of you doing karaoke that one time!"
"God, please don't talk about that! Ugh, I can't believe you still even have that. It's horrible! You have blackmail on your phone, literally."
Your conversation delves into nonsense, bantering and lightly ribbing each other the whole car ride. His hand, of course, stays on your thigh the entire ride.
-
You're a few drinks in and realize you severely underscored Alex's attractiveness that night as you took him in during a minute of group socialization. He'd been steadily killing it the whole night, a hand leading you from the small of your back and laughing with people as if he'd known everyone for years. It wasn't easy showing up as a streamer's plus one, but he knew how to make you feel accepted and relaxed.
Now, however, you're starting to get a bit needy after far too many glasses of red wine and a lingering hand on your inner thigh. Alex is faring even worse. It was as if the combination of alcohol with your high-libidos led to a fantastic product of pure lust. The two of you knew there wasn't a more inappropriate time to disappear to the bathrooms. Still, every look was supercharged with arousal and wanting.
People from the QSMP crowd your table, infinitely singing praises at your boyfriend's table. Rafael, or Cellbit, says something about dancing, and your mind is plagued by thoughts echoing what you wanted to do most. You needed to show Alex how much you wanted him.
Alex beat you to the chase, "Let's go dance!"
"Okay," your skin is flushed from intoxication, and Alex's touch against your palm sends electricity up your spine.
It's a bit crowded moving to the dance floor, but soon, you find your own spot in the crowd where there's just enough breathing room for you and him to be face to face. It feels intimate, just slightly swaying together. Then, his hands are skimming the edge of your dress and sliding right up to your hips.
You lean in close, brushing your lips against the shell of his ear, "not too much PDA for you?"
"Not at all. I mean, it's better than ripping your clothes off and fucking you right here," his hands bring you so close that your hips are flush, "that's what I really wanna do to you right now."
A breath is caught in your throat as you discreetly sway with the group. His cock slowly begins to press against your thigh as he looks at you with pure need. There's no doubt your panties are soaked with arousal as you imagine how he'd feel, leaving bruises on the contours of your hips, pulling you back against his cock as you struggle to barely hold yourself up.
"Alex, I want you so bad," you whisper into his ear, "and I can feel you. I wanna suck you off."
The fact you're speaking so lewdly with no one catching on makes both of your pulses quicken. Practically in the distance, the DJ changes the song, and you take the opportunity to use Alex's aroused shock to turn in his arms.
"Let's just go to the bathroom real quick and–"
"Let's just dance for a second, yeah?"
He doesn't even have the chance to rebuke you, too entranced by how you teasingly sway your hips against his now prominent bulge. To others, it just looks like an average couple having an intimate time; only God knows how much Alex is thinking of the softness of your cheeks that press into his thighs, the way your hips effortlessly tilt the same way you would be riding him at his desk. You act so nonchalantly like this, but he's the only one making you moan and whine while he sucks on your wet clit like a man starved.
You only tone down your seductive dancing when his hands wrap around your middle with no wiggle room. Alex holds you in place, and your eyes want to roll back in your head from the way he lightly presses your lower stomach against him. He always feels so massive behind you like this, like he's in total control of your body which makes your clit pulse.
"You can be so naughty sometimes, I'm so fucking hard in my pants now. It's all your fault, you know," he whispers hotly in your ear, "Why don't we go to the bathroom for a second, baby?"
"But I'm having fun dancing," you brattily reply, tilting your jaw up to stare at him through your lashes.
He gives you a plain look, and the submissive bone in your body leaves your legs shaking.
"You could be having much more fun getting fucked by me, getting split open on my cock. But you don't have to do anything you don't want to," he drops the ultimatum, but the both of you already know your answer.
"Take me to the bathroom," you mumble, pressing against him.
Within moments, your boyfriend has come up with a lame excuse: "Yeah, she's feeling a bit sick!" The two of you are speedwalking to the private bathrooms and clicking the locks shut. Once safely secure, affirmed by the slide and click of the lock, Alex is quick to make work of your body and fiercely bring you into a makeout session with him.
It's hot, messy, it's so wet the way your lips collide against each other. The tension finally builds up and culminates in gliding your tongue against his as he works a knee between your legs. You knew you needed him, but your body was buzzing as his hands cupped your breasts roughly, "ah, fuck. I'm so horny."
"How do you think I feel," he groans, sucking a mark into your neck, "I feel like a teenager, about to come in my pants over your fucking grinding."
Alex's hand cups your jaw to bring your lips together again, tugging on the delicate skin as he drinks you in, "you're fucked up for that, you know?"
"I know, but you like being teased."
"I don't! I really don't," he mumbles, pulling off his suit jacket and hanging it on the door hook, "I should really get you back."
Your boyfriend says it as he manages to pull the cups of your bra down, freeing your chest from the confines of your chest. The cold, naked breeze leaves you aching to cover up, but Alex soothes your pebbling nipples with the warmth of his mouth and slick of his tongue. It feels too good, moans squeaking out of you as he tweaks and sucks at the puckering buds.
He always wants to make you feel good, which means learning everything that made you tick as he absolutely ravishes you. Your nipples were always so sensitive, your fingernails scratching his scalp like the pleasure was crawling out of you like a woman enchanted.
"Yeah, babe? You like it when I play with your pretty tits?"
"Yeah, yes! The way you touch my nipples feels so good," your words come out, exhaled in pure relief, and it is a relief.
You needed his hands on your body, kneading plush skin and making you feel oh-so-good. Alex beckons you away from the door, lifting you up by your hips to seat you on the counter's edge. You're closer to his height now, and there's a brief moment of sweetness as you reconnect by standing flush against each other. He's fully hard now, desperate for you.
"I need you so bad, fuck," he sighs pleasedly.
Manicured hands unbutton the top buttons of his shirt, soaking in golden-tanned skin that gleams under the bathroom lights. Alex catches the sight of the two of you in the mirror, and his thighs shake with the empathetic rush of pleasure that courses through him just seeing the state of you two. Messy hair, make-up smudged, clothes absolutely and unmistakably disheveled.
Neither of you could wait any longer, "wanna fuck you from behind. Turn around for me, please?"
Once you're entirely on display, you have a front-row view in the mirror as his hands glide over the curve in your lower back before reaching your cheeks and spreading them. Your creamy hole is fully on display, and Alex shushes you when you whine, "Don't stareee."
"Hush, just be patient for a second," he doesn't even take his eyes off your pussy, "I can't appreciate my girlfriend?"
You want to bite back sassily, but then the head of his dick catches on your clit, leaving your jaw-dropping in a dramatic display. The man behind you chuckles lightly, gliding the tip between your sticky folds to thoroughly coat his cock in your wetness, "what was that?"
"N-Nothing, just hurry up!"
Biting your lip, you try to jerk your hips back, but Alex's hand keeps your lower back firmly pinned to the counter, "I've been daydreaming about this since you got ready."
Alex gives you no chance to try and speak, plunging the tip in your pussy and stretching your thick walls. You know he's barely inside you, barely begun to dick you down. Still, you're already gutturally moaning, "Fuuuck
 yes, lex–mmf!"
He gives you time to adjust, shallowly thrusting his hips with a hand on your hips. You're already trying to suck him in, and he's barely a few inches inside! It's heaven, and you can see the way his black hair cascades in his face as he slowly bullies his fat cock into you.
"God, fuck! You're taking me so well; this pussy is squeezing me so tight," he groans, eyes locking onto yours in the mirror as he starts to thrust earnestly, "Oh fuck yeah, take my cock, baby."
There's a loud 'pap' that echoes through the room as Alex works his hips into yours, steadily burying his cock deep into your folds and dicking you down expertly. The room grows hot and heady, the scent of sex permeating the air as Alex skillfully pounds you against the counter, "Talk to me, baby. Actually–fuuck. Look at me, babe."
Your hand grips the counter fiercely, but you can still look up to watch as Alex drags his dick through your walls over and over, "Filling me up so good–wanna cum so bad. I wanna be good–oh! Uh-huh, 'jus wanna be good for you."
Alex feels his balls constrict as you tighten around him, feet on tip-toes as you draw closer and closer to your orgasm.
"Cum all over me, babe. Let me make you feel good, fuck yes. Just like that, honey."
All you can do is hold on as each thrust winds you up closer and closer until stars are bursting behind your eyelids. You cum with a cry of Alex's name, legs shaking as your pussy creams till there's a white ring around the base of his cock. The feeling of your gummy walls squeezing his dick and your words as you cry, "shit, Alex! Make me cum, oh god. I-I'm yours, fuuuck!"
He cums with a loud groan, hips slapping against your hips once, then twice as you feel him spurt his load against your pink inner walls. Your fluids mix together, spilling out of your hole and leaking down your thigh. The both of you fade in and out of existence, the power of your shared release leaving the two of you reeling as his cock softens inside you.
Your man stays inside of you until your breaths have calmed and come to a slow. He gently works his cock out of you, slowly pulling out as you hiss, "Shh, just stay here, babe. Let me get a towel."
"What time is it?"
A gentle hand comes between your legs to wipe up any excess mess. You jump as he swipes over your clit, an action that Alex giggles at.
"Definitely time to go."
The two of you stand side by side in the mirror, horrified.
"My hair!"
"My dress! You totally screwed it all up!"
"Nuh-uh, that was all you, babe! Do you think everyone's gonna know?"
You would've said yes and promised that no one would know a single thing. But your eyes zero in on his lips' red, swollen state. The way his shirt is unbuttoned just enough to spot a red mark carding down his chest.
"Oh, babe
 absolutely."
Alex whines, but you feel delighted.

please do not steal my work - belongs to @grey342
He's been eyeing you up all night.
You’re celebrating Stu's promotion. He’s been waiting five months for this and you’re so happy that he finally got it.
You and the guys decided to do a surprise party for him with his friends, co-workers and family. You’ve been trying to distract yourself all night and keep your distance from him but, the tension hanging in the air doesn’t go unnoticed.
A couple of months ago you and Phil made a mistake. An amazing one but still, a mistake.
The group went out for their weekly hangout this time, in a bar. You had just broke up with your fifth boyfriend of the year and to say you were feeling depressed was an understatement. Phil was recently divorced and couldn’t be fucking happier. And what better way to celebrate than getting shitfaced with his best friends.
You were wearing a short green dress that showed off your cleavage and it was taking everything in Phil to not tear it off you right there and then. He was wearing his classic black button-up shirt, not done up all the way, and a pair of slacks with a bulging print in them. You had to keep your legs tightly pressed together whenever you looked at him. At one point you swore you drooled a little.
Neither of you would ever admit the sexual tension that hid in the cracks of your friendship. But it was there and it had been since high school. Moving on, a few too many drinks were had and the next morning you woke up not in your bed and not alone. Flashbacks of the night before ran rampant through your mind, you didn't want to face it so you got up and left.
You didn't speak for a couple weeks after that incident. Eventually, it came up when you had a moment alone at Doug and Tracy's:
You wait until you're one hundred percent sure everyone else is out of earshot.
"We need to talk." You say direct.
"Yeah, we do," he inhales, "i'm gonna be straight with ya' that was the best sex i've ever had." You open your mouth and close it, like a goldfish. Out of the list of things you had expected him to say, that didn't even make top 50.
"I-uh, come again?"
"No I haven't since then unfortunately." He smirks.
"Phil," You sigh disappointedly.
"C'mon, you're telling me that wasn't the best sex of your life? Hm?" He stares into your eyes. You would never admit it to him, but it really was the best night of your life. You remember the way he used his hands and mouth. How he made you scream with only two fingers. You were awakened from your daydreaming by his chuckling.
"That's what I thought."
"Phil I have no idea-"
"Yeah sure you don't now listen, I had a good time, you had a good time. Both of us just got out of a relationship so we're not looking for anything too serious. So I propose a friends with benefits agreement."
"What?" You say, almost too loudly.
"Lower your voice, I mean I don't see the big deal. All it would be is meaningless sex, anytime we want. NO strings attached. And we could break it off at any point. What do you say?" He puts out his hand.
"Really? We're gonna shake on it?," his expression doesn't falter, "fine. But we have to agree to not catch feelings and if we do we must break off the agreement immediatley."
"Sweetheart, don't take this the wrong way but that's not gonna happen." He nodded towards his hand and you shook it, not realising what the hell you just got yourself into.
Back to the present moment, you were talking with some of Stu's work colleagues when you felt a presence behind you:
"Sorry guys do you mind if I steal her for one second?" A voice you would recognise in a crowd of screaming people says. All the men nodded as you felt a strong hand grip your arm and drag you away.
He pulled you into the bathroom, shoved you against the door and locked it. You try to avoid his gaze but he grabs your chin forcing you to look at him.
"Why are you avoiding me?" He grunts.
"Avoiding you? I'm not avoiding you."
"Don't lie to me." He hardens his grip, squishing your cheeks together. You thighs clamp together.
"I'm not lying to-" Your cut of by your own moan as his hands reach under your dress and rub over your clit through your panties.
"What was that? Hm?" He prompts but your mind is too fogged with the pleasure he's currently giving you.
He moves his other hand from your face down to your breasts and begins fondling them, playing with your nipples through the fabric. Your head is spinning.
"What, you like that?," he scoffs, "of course you do." Your eyes are screwed shut but you know he has a cocky grin on his face.
He stops his actions completley and before you can protest, he pulls down your panties and shoves his two fingers inside you, curling them also. You let out a loud moan, aware that anyone passing by would've heard it.
He must've seen the slight panic on your face because he says: "Don't be shy baby, let them hear how much of a slut you are for me." You moan in response.
You hear his belt being undone as well as his fly, you look down seeing his bulging dick through his pants. You move your hand, pull him out and begin to slowly pump your hand up and down. He moans loudly as you start to kiss his neck. He moves his fingers faster, bringing you to the brink of an orgasm. Your pace quickens as you look up at him he places his mouth on yours, sharing breaths.
"Shit, i'm close." You squeak out. Hearing this he stops his movements. You open your mouth to curse at him when he silences you by thrusting into you, you wrap your legs around his hips and claim his mouth.
The pair of you fight for dominance in a clash of teeth and tongues. He ultimately wins, thrusting up into you at a pace that has you moving up and down the wall. You break away to catch your breath, he bites your bottom lip and pull on it lightly. You let out a whimper and claw at his back.
"You like that? You dirty little slut, this is what you get for avoiding me.." He speaks deeply. You can feel yourself getting close.
"Phil.." You warn, tears forming in your eyes.
"Scream my name baby, let everybody know who's fucking you this good." His hand moves down to rub harsh circles on your clit.
"Oh shit.."
"That's it let it all out, cum for me baby.." He groans, he leans down, kissing and sucking your neck. You moan in unison, he finds your sweet spot and bites down.
"Fuck!" You scream out the pleasure exploding over you, your legs begin to shake.
"Oh shit, oh shit!" Phil whimpers, shooting his load inside of you. Once you calm down and your legs stop shaking, he places you on the ground. You look at yourself in the mirror and fix your appearance as an attempt to look presentable. After he pulls his pants up, he grabs your panties and puts them on for you. Raising to your level he says:
"Now your gonna go back to that party with my cum still inside you," he kisses you, "meet me outside at 9. We're not done yet." He gives you one last kiss, a slap on the ass and opens the door for you.
You walk out the door with a huge grin on your face and Phil's cum trickling down down your legs.

One year.
It had been exactly one year since you ended it with Tyler and you still suffered from the aftershocks of the abuse. Even though your body and mind weren't subject to his fists or harsh words, you still felt worthless. Every day the memories of the torture you went through filled your mind.
The moment you met Sam and Dean in the shitty hole-in-the-wall bar, your personalities clicked. You needed a distraction and somewhere to live, and they needed help in their line of work. So when they offered to let you stay and help them hunt you agreed without hesitation.
Finally, things seemed to be looking up for you, or so you thought. Two weeks after moving into the Bunker, the nightmares started.
These weren't just any run-of-the-mill bad dreams either. No, in these dreams, Tyler was torturing and trying to kill you. The vividness left you screaming and crying in your sleep almost nightly. The nightmares plagued your mind every time you went to sleep.
Neither of the brothers said anything to you about it, so you tried to pretend everything was fine. It was one of the hardest things you've had to do if you were being honest with yourself. The physical training alone sometimes brought on a panic attack. Even though you knew Sam and Dean weren't trying to harm you, your mind was starting to become your biggest enemy.
You could tell they wanted to ask you about it, but they also knew that you weren’t one to talk about your past. The only thing you told them was that you and Tyler had a rough breakup. The thought made you laugh. Calling it a rough breakup was putting it very mildly.
The day before your first hunt went surprisingly well. You went the entire day without any panic attacks or a questioning glance from either of the Winchesters. Even though you couldn’t remember the last time you slept, it didn’t stop you from humming in the kitchen while you cooked everyone dinner. Not to mention, the copious amounts of makeup you used to make yourself look less like a zombie. You made a mental note to get some more of the coverup you hid your dark circles with.
Sam rounded the corner as you filled everyone’s plates, one of his eyebrows rising quizzically.
“You’re extra happy tonight, Y/N.”
You shrugged and continued to hum as Dean joined you both at the table.
“Yeah, what’s gotten into you? You win the lotto or somethin’?”
You gave them both your signature eyeroll and took a pull of your beer.
“What? I can’t be in a good mood now?”
Sam cleared his throat and looked over at his brother before staring back at you, concern evident in his eyes.
“Of course you can, Y/N. Dean and I
well, we’ve noticed that you’ve been having nightmares.”
Your eyes narrowed to thin slits. If this was their attempt to keep you from going on tomorrow’s hunt, then they had better think again.
“I’m. Fine."
You enunciated your words, making sure to look at both of them sternly. Sam scoffed and set his drink down.
“I don’t call it fine when you wake up almost every night screaming, Y/N”
All you wanted was one day, one day where you could just forget about the grim night that awaited you.
“They’re just dreams, and I’m going tomorrow no matter what. I’ve been training for this day for months, and a stupid nightmare isn’t going to bench me.”
The hostility in your voice caught them off guard, and you suddenly weren’t hungry anymore. You pushed the contents of your plate around with your fork, the awkward silence becoming more deafening by the second. Dean was the first to break it, his soothing tone of voice practically making you sick to your stomach. You knew they wanted you to stay home, and it pissed you off even more that your brain somewhat agreed with them.
“Look, Y/N, we just wa-”
You slammed your fists on the table cutting him off mid-sentence.
“ENOUGH! I’m not here to be your charity case! I came here to hunt, not for you to feel sorry for me!”
Before either of them could say anything you had stormed down the hallway to your room. Slamming the door for good measure, you finally let yourself unleash the angry tears you’d held back. You knew they were only trying to help, but being pitied didn’t sit with you well. You’d grown accustomed to it after being with Tyler for so many years, and it made you feel like everyone was hypersensitive to your feelings.
Once the tears stopped, you were left exhausted and feeling numb. Falling asleep right after an outburst would definitely bring on a nightmare, so you opted for a long hot shower instead. The moment the water cascaded over your skin you felt the stiffness in your muscles leave your body. You spent extra time massaging your scalp and even used your lavender soothing body wash to help calm your nerves.
Finally, in your pajamas, you slid beneath your covers and sighed deeply. Couldn’t you just have one day where you didn’t have someone worrying about you? Deciding not to dwell on it any longer, you turned the bedside light off and let yourself fall asleep.
Fear, raw fear coursed through your body as you ran. You’d just told Tyler you wanted to see other people and he’d tried to force himself on you so you’d stay. He pinned you against the wall, his breath reeked of stale beer as he kissed down your neck. The feeling of his lips made you shiver with disgust. When he reached for the hem of your shirt, you raised your knee hard and fast hitting him right where it counted.
Tyler yelled in pain as you broke free, running as fast as you could to the door.
“Ow, FUCK! God Dammit, Y/N! Come back here you fucking bitch!”
Cold air hit your face as you ran barefoot into the woods behind your home. Branches hit your exposed skin leaving little cuts in their wake. You could hear Tyler shouting after you as you found refuge behind a big tree trunk. Your chest heaved and you shivered as you tried to stay still and quiet.
Tyler’s footfalls and yelling became louder by the second, and you were sure he could hear the thundering of your heart. Just as you thought you were in the clear, strong arms boxed you in, the bark of the tree cut into your back as Tyler stared menacingly down at you.
“There you are
you pathetic little slut. You shouldn’t have done this, Y/N. You should have just come home like the good little bitch you are and kept that pretty, little mouth shut.”
His fingers grazed your cheek briefly before his mouth was on your own, the taste of his tongue made you almost vomit.
“Now, we could have done it back at the house, but seeing as how you made a scene, I think I’ll just take you right here.”
You tried to push, shove, kick, anything to get him off you, but it was of no use. He began to forcefully rid you of your clothes, and all you could do was scream. Scream for anyone to help you.
“Stop! Please, Tyler!”
Sobs racked your body as he pawed roughly at your skin. You could feel him now, shaking you, calling your name.
“No! Just leave me alone!”
You bolted upright in your bed, a cool sheen of sweat covered your skin and the sheets. Dean knelt in front of you, concern etched in his features.
“Y/N! It’s okay! It’s me
 it’s Dean.”
You blinked a few times before covering your face with your hands, tears of relief streaming down your cheeks.
“D-Dean
 I’m
 I’m s-sorry for waking you up. I
 It was just another d-dream.”
You tried to sound confident between your sobs, but you knew he wouldn’t buy it. Hell, even you knew how pathetic you sounded. Ever so slowly Dean sat on the foot of your bed, his hand coming to rest gently on your knee. You couldn’t see his face, but you knew he was looking at you with worry in his eyes.
“C’mon now, Y/N. Don’t bullshit me. You and I both know that this is past the point of being 'just dreams'. I want to help you, but you’re going to have to work with me here.”
Using the back of your hands to wipe the loose tears away, you finally got the courage to look at him. His eyes were soft, kind even. The lopsided smile he gave you was the moment you finally let your walls down. Dean was here to help you, not judge you.
“O-Okay
 so umm
what do we do now? How do I stop dreaming of these
 these horrible things?”
Dean started to move his thumb across your kneecap. In any other situation you’d be in a fit of laughter, but at a time like this, it was soothing.
“Do you trust me?”
Those four words made you swallow thickly. Trust wasn’t something you took lightly, and Dean knew that. Sam understood this too, but Dean was different. He could count on one hand the people he had full trust in.
“Yes, of course, I trust you, Dean. Believe me, I want these nightmares to stop just as much as you do if not more.”
He stood and held his hand out to you. Your eyebrows knit in confusion, but you took it anyway and let him lead you to his room. The Bunker was eerily quiet at night, but you knew you were safe. You stood at the threshold, watching him as he padded across the floor to his bed. Your cheeks flushed as he rid himself of his t-shirt, leaving him only in his low-hanging grey sweats. You never let yourself think about Sam or Dean this way before, but you weren’t a prude. Every woman who came in contact with them knew how attractive they were.
Dean cleared his throat bringing you back to reality.
“You comin’ sweetheart? I don’t bite...much.”
He winked, and you knew he was trying to lighten the mood, but who were you kidding? You couldn’t share a bed with Dean. That would make things weird, and that’s the last thing you wanted to do. Nightmares or not, you weren’t going to jeopardize your friendship.
“Dean...I-I don’t think I can do this
I’m pretty worn out from crying so let’s just say we forget about this night and I’ll go back to my own bed
I’m sorry for being a burden. I’ll just.. I’m gonna go
”
You turned to leave, but not before Dean caught your arm.
“Whoa whoa slow down, Y/N. What’s wrong? Is it because I took my shirt off? ‘Cause I can put it back on. I’m just used to sleeping without it on is all.”
You sighed and shook your head.
“No, it-It’s not that. I just
I don’t want this to ruin our friendship ya know? I don’t want things to get weird or anything.”
Dean shook his head and chuckled.
“So, don’t let it get weird.”
His look went back to firm before he continued.
“Y/N, be honest with me. How long has it been since you slept, and I mean really slept?”
Your eyes went to your feet, your toe rubbing across a rough spot on the old floor.
“I umm
I haven’t slept in four days
”
A flash of concern laced his features as he pulled you back into his room.
“C’mon, sweetheart.”
He pulled back his covers and got under them before patting the other side of the mattress invitingly.
“Come here, Y/N. You need sleep just as much as I do. I promise I won’t try anything with you. I mean, I’m a cuddler so, I might do that, but nothing else, I swear.”
You lowered your head in defeat and crossed the room before climbing into bed next to him. He carefully wrapped his arm around your waist, feeling you tense a little, before relaxing. Neither of you talked, but there really wasn’t any need to. You already felt more at ease in Dean’s arms. The smell of his shampoo and pheromones calmed you. Mere minutes later, his breathing evened out, and his light snoring filled your ears. Moments later, you were asleep.
It became a routine that none of you spoke about. Every night, you would get ready for bed in your room and slip into Dean’s, silently climbing into bed beside him. True to his word, he was a cuddler but instead of the apprehension you’d expected at his touch, you only felt warmth and safety.
He was never inappropriate either. His hands stayed firmly in the safe zones, holding you around your middle if you decided that spooning was the position for you; his lower half was always carefully angled away when you woke up. If you slept curled into his side, he kept his hand on your shoulder or waist, never anywhere else.
The nightmares weren’t dispelled so easily. But being with Dean, they were normally stopped before they were over - he was a naturally light sleeper and the slightest twitch in your slumber had him waking you with gentle reassuring murmurs.
It was three weeks before your first night with no memories assaulting you. You woke with your face against Dean’s bare chest - you’d fallen asleep there the night before. His skin was warm under your cheek and you sighed, closing your eyes and allowing the haze of sleep to keep you still for a little longer.
“You slept well,” he muttered without opening his eyes and you smiled.
“No nightmares,” you whispered.
“Good.” Dean yawned, stretching his arms up. “I think I slept pretty well too.”
The covers slipped down with his movement and you couldn’t help it; your eyes went south to the straining erection that was fighting against the elastic of his pajama pants.
His hand wasn’t fast enough to snatch the covers back up and when you raised your head to look at him, his face was beet red.
“Sorry,” he mumbled, “s’morning and everything
 y’know.”
“It’s okay,” you assured him, patting his chest.
“It’s not,” Dean grunted, clutching the covers over his lap, “you didn’t want this to get weird.”
“You having aïżœïżœïżœâ€ you swallowed, unsure how to phrase it, “an erection, isn’t weird. It’s perfectly natural.” With a shrug, you slid your eyes away from his, feeling your cheeks heat up. “I’d say it’s a compliment.”
He blinked, processing what you’d said before his mouth set in a thin smile. “Can’t help what happens when I sleep next to a beautiful woman.”
You were sure your face was about to burst into flames and you giggled. “Now you’re making it weird.”
Dean smirked - not one of those sarcastic expressions, more playful, devilish. The way you expected he’d look at a woman he wanted to -
“Besides,” you added hurriedly, shifting a little way away from him, “I’m not your type.”
“Who says?” he challenged and you pulled back, frowning.
Dean moved, pushing himself up with his arm. “You say you don’t wanna ruin our friendship but I can’t keep spending the night with you warm next to me and pretending I’m not craving you in every way possible.”
His declaration left you speechless - what were you supposed to even say to that?
Thank you?
Dean chuckled, leaning in a little closer. “Can I kiss you?” he whispered and you were struck by the thought that no man should ever look that pretty when asking that question. With scruffy bed hair and sleep lines on his face, Dean managed to look like he’d fallen out of a GQ photoshoot.
Your reply, when you finally forced it out, was barely a squeak.
His lips were soft when they pressed against yours but you couldn’t relax. Your entire body was stiff with trepidation; you felt hot and cold all at once and it took only seconds for Dean to notice your tense posture.
Breaking away, he cupped your cheek, dragging his thumb down to rest on your chin, making your eyes meet his.
“Talk to me,” he urged softly.
The temptation to shut off, to not tell him anything, warred with the need to spill your illogical shame for what had happened. You knew Dean would never blame you but seeing the pity in his eyes would be unbearable.
But he deserved to know what he’d been protecting you from. At least, in part.
“It’s been a long time since I’ve,” you took a shuddering breath, dropping your chin away from his hand, “since I’ve been with anyone. And the last time wasn’t
” Your eyes closed and you tried to forget the rough touch on your skin.
Dean’s hand moved, resting on your hip and the warmth of his touch seeped into you, forcing you to look at him again, letting his gentle touch replace the horror from before.
“You know I wouldn’t hurt you,” he coaxed, smiling softly. “I could never hurt you.”
What you feared most was nowhere to be found in his face. His sincere green gaze focused on you, filled with nothing but lust and affection.
You moved closer, startling him with a chaste kiss, your little moan swept away by his hum of appreciation and when he tugged you closer, you moved with him easily, losing yourself in the warmth of his skin.
Dean didn’t push, letting you set the pace and you were content with kissing, feeling his hands roam your body. You licked into his mouth, breaking only for air; you weren’t paying much attention to the way you pinned him back onto the bed, straddling his lap so you could kiss him and run your hands over his solid chest and stomach.
He laughed, arching when your fingers caught a ticklish spot, which only prompted you to do it again.
“Quit it,” he chuckled, grabbing at your hands but keeping his touch light.
Dragging your right hand to his lips, you sucked in a breath as he kissed each fingertip, his eyes locked on yours the entire time.
He continued down over the palm of your hand, tracing the throb of your heartbeat to your wrist. By the time his soft lips reached the inside of your elbow, you were practically mush - before he could continue, you used your free hand to cup his face.
“Later,” you promised.
Dean’s eyes sparkled as you rolled your hips, reminding him of the erection straining at his pants. “Fuck,” he groaned, letting his head fall back, “don’t do that.”
“Why?”
The tone of your voice had him narrowing his eyes at you. “Because if you do, I might not be able to help myself.”
“What if I don’t want you to?”
Dean pushed himself up onto one hand, abruptly enough that you squeaked and giggled, smiling when he used the other hand to cup the back of your neck and draw you in for a deep kiss.
“Do you want me as much as I want you, princess?”
You nodded, feeling the heat in your cheeks rise, his nose squished against yours.
“You know you can tell me to stop at any time, right?”
“I know,” you whispered, initiating another kiss, dragging your tongue over his.
Shifting his weight so his back was straight, Dean’s hands landed on your hips, grinding you down harder against his cock. His fingers trailed up underneath the thin tank top you’d worn to bed; he groaned when his thumbs brushed the underside of your bare breasts.
You lifted your arms, letting him pull the top up over your head, giving him full access to your breasts and Dean leaned in, brushing his nose across the top of one.
“You’ve got no idea how beautiful you are,” he murmured and you smiled, folding your hands around the back of his head as he started to worship your tits with his tongue.
His cock was twitching against your core and Dean grunted, pushing one hand underneath the covers to shove his pants down.
“Sorry, it’s getting a little uncomfortable down there,” he joked, resuming his attention to your nipples and you gasped when his teeth grazed one solid peak teasingly.
The sudden desire to feel his skin on yours was a full-body craving; you shifted and pushed at your shorts, managing to drag them down without dislodging him.
The sound Dean made when you were finally perched nude in his lap was only amplified when you pushed him back, using your feet to shove the covers down. His cock was warm and throbbing against your bare slit and you whimpered, grinding against him and he broke away from your breast, groaning loudly.
“Fuck, Y/N -”
“Sssh,” you ordered, sliding down his body until you were straddling his thighs, wrapping one hand around his shaft before you could stop and think about it.
Dean’s chin tilted up and the veins on his neck popped with the strained angle of his neck, a low moan accompanying the bob of his Adam’s apple when you licked the tip of his cock.
He kept his hands at his sides, clenching them in the sheets, giving you all the room you needed. It wasn’t something you had an entirety of experience in but Dean seemed happy enough to let you explore, finding the sensitive spots at the base of his length. When you cupped his balls with your other hand and fondled them gently, Dean emitted a noise of pure lust and warmth swelled in your core in response.
Stroking him slowly, you watched a bead of precum seeping from his slit; the urge to taste it was more than you could ignore. The salty tang was worth the way Dean’s entire body twitched and he looked down at you, tucking his chin into his chest.
“You know there are limits to torture, right?” he muttered, raising an eyebrow and you giggled, continuing to stroke him as he moaned under his breath. “Jeez, Y/N, you’re gonna
 fuck
”
“You’ve got a dirty mouth,” you chided, your gaze fixed on the way his cock fit in your hand. Your fingers didn’t quite touch either side, not until you reached the slightly flared head and you suddenly wanted to know what it felt like to have him buried inside you.
The thought was enough to provoke a sudden rush of wetness between your thighs and Dean groaned as you rutted against him, barely acknowledging your own movement.
A tiny voice in the back of your head stilled your movements, doubt settling in the pit of your belly. Shouldn’t you be frightened of this? After
after him, there hadn’t been anyone and this felt like something that should be shaking you to the core.
But all you could feel was pure adrenaline and desire pumping through your veins; everything was focused on the way Dean felt underneath you, the warm weight of his cock as you stroked him, and the sounds of pleasure he was making.
“Dean,” you whispered, meeting his eyes, “I wanna fuck you.”
He muttered a curse, biting his bottom lip when you released his cock and crawled further up his body. There was no objection - Dean continued to let you set the pace. You lifted yourself, slipping two fingers between your thighs, sinking them into your body.
“Y/N
” Dean muttered, covering your hand with his own, “let me.”
You nodded, letting him take over, whining when he pushed a single digit into you. Just one of his fingers felt bigger than your two, more calloused and filling. He pumped them a few times, smirking when you closed your eyes and tilted your head back, enjoying his slow touch.
All too soon, you grew impatient for more but before Dean could add a second finger, you tugged on his wrist. “Want you,” you pouted, leaning over to kiss away any protest he could make. Lifting your hips, you pinned his hands beside his head, smiling against his lips. “Stay.”
Dean obeyed, groaning when you slipped one hand down to grasp him again, lining his tip up with your soaked entrance. Lowering down onto him, you whined, lifting again when your body struggled to accept the intrusion. With a few more thrusts, you had him halfway inside and his body was shaking with the effort of holding back.
Lifting up once more, you pushed down, taking him to the hilt. The shock of being so full made you yelp and Dean’s hands were on your hips, holding you steady so you could adjust.
“Gah,” you moaned, resting against his chest, “you’re
 fuck.”
“Now who has a dirty mouth?” Dean teased and you pulled back, smiling. “Want me to put my hands back?”
You nodded, waiting for him to return his hands to the pillow before sliding your fingers up to lace them with his.
When you started to move, rocking gently on him, Dean closed his eyes, a low rumble in his chest letting you know that it felt good. The way he reacted made you a little bolder and you lifted yourself, letting him withdraw a few inches before taking him to the hilt again.
“Y/N
”
“What?” you asked, worried you’d done something wrong with the way he moaned your name.
His cheeks were a little red when he answered. “I’m close and you haven’t -”
“Oh,” you blinked, ceasing your movements, unsure what to do, “do you want me to stop?”
“God, no,” Dean chuckled. “I just wanna make sure you cum too.” The way he said it, his low throaty voice almost catching on the words, made you shudder and clench around him. “Sit up straight,” he instructed - you obeyed, a little puzzled until you felt how much deeper it let him be.
You moaned, circling your hips as Dean’s jaw clenched. Your lips parted in a little “o” when he responded with a slight thrust, one hand untangling from yours to hover over your mound, his thumb settling just above where his cock was inside you.
“That okay?” he asked and you nodded, squirming needily. Intense pleasure was on the edge of your senses, teasing you with the promise of climax but you craved more. Dean’s thumb traced your clit and a spark made your hips jerk. “That’s it,” he coaxed, “keep moving for me, baby.”
Your teeth sank into your bottom lip as you started to rock, much like how you had started. The throbbing inside you increased with each glide of his thumb over the sensitive bundle of nerves. Electricity ran through your veins prompting your head to fall back as you whimpered into orgasm.
“Cum for me, Y/N,” Dean murmured his other hand on your hip now, guiding your rocking motion when you fell over the edge.
It was calmer than any orgasm you’d ever experience but possibly one of the best. Dean’s climax followed yours within seconds and he stopped touching you, letting you fall forward onto his chest, panting heavily.
Although you’d barely moved, you were sweating, exhausted and more sated than you’d ever felt. An overwhelming sense of calm swept through you; even though your legs were shaking with the effort of simply existing, you felt peaceful.
Eventually, Dean had to move, helping you clean up before he slipped back into bed with you. Neither of you spoke as he wrapped an arm around your shoulders and drew you back against his chest, letting you curl into his side.
“Get some more sleep,” he whispered, kissing the top of your head.
You nodded, closing your eyes without a reply and letting the last ebbing waves of bliss carry you off.

Not everything worked out. That’s what Y/n kept telling herself.
She and Seungmin broke up six months ago. Life just wasn't kind to either of them during their time together. Work was a mess for her and him being an idol and touring, nothing was working out. But it was a hard six months.
Especially without talking until he reached out one day and asked if she wanted to talk. She thought everything was fine till she saw him. Shoved in a hoodie and a face mask to hide himself. Y/n giggled a bit at his appearance before walking to the booth he had taken in the corner of the coffee shop. Two drinks on the table.
“Hey,” Y/n said as he looked up from his phone.
“Hey. Ordered you fav,” He said as she took a seat across from him
“You still remember it?” Y/n half joked
     “Why wouldn’t I?”
That made her heart flutter. Six months of no contact and he still remembered things about her.
     “How’s work?” Y/n asked him
“Still busy. Getting ready for comeback,” Seungmin sighed, “How’s your work.”
“Calmed down. Things are a bit easier and I got that promotion.”
“I’m proud of you. You deserve it.”
     “Thanks. How have you been?”
“Okay, I guess? I’ve had better days,” Seungmin pulled his mask down to sip his Americano
“Have you moved on?” The words came out before she could stop them. Both of them just looked at each other for a moment.
“Do I look like I moved on?” He asked
     “I haven’t either
”
That hung in the air. Neither said anything as they finished their drinks. Only the occasional question about something random. Eventually, they got up to leave and Seungmin offered to walk her home.
Wanting to spend as much time as he could with her. Selfishly so. Comeback right around the corner, it was busy, before and after. He wanted to try again, that’s why he reached out. He missed her.
They weren't perfect, no relationship was. But he knew when they first got together that he wanted her by his side, no matter what. Six months felt like years and he tried his best not to let it show how much the breakup was affecting him. He knew the guys knew it hurt him, but he didn't let anything get in the way of work.
He finally broke down and ended up ranting to the rest of his bandmates who were more than supportive of him reaching out and trying to see where she stood and if rekindling the relationship was possible. So he silently walked with her back to her apartment, trying to think of something— anything— to say. Feeling bad when they got to her door and he hadn’t said anything. He was the one who asked to talk to her and their conversation ended when they both established that they hadn’t moved on from each other. Six months later.
“Do you wanna come in, Min?” Y/n offered
“Yeah,” Seungmin smiled at her before they both went inside.
He had been to her apartment so many times before but it felt so weird standing in her entryway. He slipped off the face mask and his hood, shaking his hair out and letting it fall back into place perfectly. Y/n looked at him the whole time. He still made her weak to her knees.
They made it over to her couch and just sat there. The silence wasn’t uncomfortable but not comfortable fully. Y/n picked at one of her throw pillows, both trying to find something to say.
     “I’m sorry,” Seungmin finally said
“It’s okay Min. We weren’t in a good place when we were together.” Y/n answered
     “I know, but
 I don’t know.”
“Why did you want to talk today?”
Seungmin tilted his head back and looked at the ceiling before looking over at her. “I missed you. A lot. I could barely focus at work, wondering if you ate the day, got enough sleep, and if that co-worker you hated was still bothering you. The last six months felt like absolute hell without talking to you. I’m pretty sure there were a couple of times I woke up thinking you were next to me and when I realized you weren’t, I just kind of broke down
”
Y/n felt her tears pricking her lash line. Sniffling a bit, “She is still bothering me,” Y/n laughed, “I missed you too, Min. The first week was hard for me. It was better for a bit but then I was still getting all the fan edits on social media and there wasn't any way I could let you go.”
“I know we are having a moment and you're about to cry but you look really pretty and I wanna kiss you.” Leave it to Kim Seungmin to say randomly that made her heart flutter
“I’ll let you do anything if you touch me right now,” Y/n blurted out
     “Anything?” Seungmin asked
Y/n nodded her head and Seungmin crashed his lips onto hers. She didn't even register him moving as he was slowly pushing her back on the couch. Y/n wrapped her arms around his neck as her lips moved in sync with his. Both were desperate to feel the other's lips after months of being apart. The kiss getting more and more desperate and heated.
“Min,” Y/n mumbled against his lips before he shoved her tongue down her throat.
Y/n moaned into his mouth as she tugged his hair. He didn't dare move away from her till he ran out of breath. Looking down at her, lips all puffy from kissing. “Tell me to stop, Y/n,” His lips attached to her neck, “Need you so fucking badly, in every sense of the word.”
“I won’t,” Y/n told him as she pulled him up to look at her, “I need you too.”
“Fuck,” Seungmin groaned, slamming his lips onto hers again.
Both moaning into the kiss and Seungmin grinding his hips into hers. Y/n could feel his erection through his jeans, pressing into her. “Fuck me Min. Please,” Y/n said between kisses
“Take me back. Let me be a better boyfriend this time,” Seungmin said, pulling away from her lips, “Let me fuck my girlfriend and not my ex.”
“Yes, the answer is always yes, Min.” Something about the way he said it had her pussy fluttering.
Seungmin smiled and kissed her again. Hands grabbing her hips to hold her still as he grinded into her more. Y/n easily managed to coax him off the couch and drag him to her room. Seungmin stripped himself of his hoodie before pinning her down onto the bed.
Hands working in a frenzy to throw off all their clothing. Letting it land in random places in her room till they were fully exposed to each other. Their hands didn't stop once the clothing was off. Needing to feel each other in every way possible.
Y/n trailed one of her hands down his stomach and wrapped her fingers around his hard cock. Seungmin moaned into her neck where his lips were currently marking her skin. Y/n worked her hand up and down on him as his fingers made their way between her legs. Slowly rubbing circles into her clit.
Slowly his fingers moved down to her entrance and collected her slick before pushing inside. Slowly working her open for him as he pulled his lips away from her neck to look down between them. Y/n threaded her free hand into his hair.
His thumb rubbed across her clit as he kissed up her neck and landed on her lips again. Y/n moaned into his mouth as he pushed deeper into her. Both somehow falling into the same pace and stimulating the other.
“Need to be in you,” Seungmin groaned as he pulled his fingers out of her and moves her hand away from his cock so he didn't blow.
“Min,” Y/n whined at the loss of stimulation as he grabbed a condom from the bedside drawer.
“I’ve got months of making up to do bubs,” Seungmin tore open the wrapper and rolled the rubber on “I’ll make you come all night if that's what you want.”
Seungmin spread her legs open and lined himself up at her entrance. He leaned over her as he slowly slid into her. Y/n grabbed on his arms as her walls parted making way for him. He took his time to sink into her, letting her warmth wrap around him till he was fully inside her.
Seungmin leaned down and kissed her again. Moving down to support himself on his forearms as she wrapped her arms and legs around him. Pulling him as close as possible, needing to be enveloped by him entirely.
Slowly he pulled back and pushed back in. Building up his pace as their lips moved together. The idol pushed his tongue into her mouth as his pace sped up. His hips slamming into hers as she moaned into his mouth. She was positive her eyes would’ve rolled into the back of her head if her eyes weren’t closed.
Sex was rare for them the first time they were together. Schedules made it difficult to even see each other but when they were together, Y/n was never unsatisfied. How could she be when the man above her always paid attention to her pleasure.
Eventually pulling away from the kiss the catch their breath— seemingly more difficult for Y/n as Seungmin just knocked the air from her lungs with his dick. Her fingers gripping at his back. Seungmin moved up onto his hands, using the leverage to move quicker.
     “Min, more.” Y/n moaned
“Whatever you want bubs.” Seungmin smiled as he moved one of his hands from the mattress and rubbed her clit again.
Y/n arched towards him as her walls clenched around him. His grunts hit her ears like a masterpiece. Nights she had spent thinking of him when she couldn’t sleep couldn’t compare to the real Seungmin. The image in front of Seungmin couldn’t compare his own lonely nights. How did they ever think letting each other go was the best and only option they had months ago?
“Fuck. Never gonna leave you again,” Seungmin groaned as he pressed harder into her clit
     “‘M close min,” Y/n moaned
“Already? Gonna give me more later?”
Y/n simply gave him another moan as a response as her hips jerked against him. Six months without being intimate took a toll on both of them; neither of them really knew.
Both their highs buildings and washing over them before they knew it. Y/n’s tumbled down first as she rocked against him. Seungmin let himself explode in the condom as she was coming down. Stilling inside and leaning over, thin layer of sweat on them.
Seungmin slowly pulled out and took off the rubber, tying it and tossing it in the garbage as he went into her bathroom to grab a towel. Coming back and cleaning her up, being as gentle as possible before throwing the towel in her clothes hamper and cuddled up with her under her covers.
“I love you. I hope you know that,” Seungmin told her
“I love you too Min.” Y/n smiled

Bonjour LamyđŸ‡«đŸ‡· I use translate to try make sentence so can I request story about reader becomes friend with older women at country club and spend all her day there sorry if it not make sense😔 love from france
a/n: Bonjour!
you hadn’t expected much when you first joined the country club. your parents had convinced you it’d be a good way to "meet people" and "network," but most days, you felt out of place among the polished regulars who seemed to know each other for years. then, one afternoon, you met her—helen.
helen was in her late fifties, maybe early sixties, with silver hair always styled in a neat bun and a presence that made her stand out. unlike the other women at the club, she had a warmth to her, always smiling and waving at people as she strolled by with her tennis racket in hand.
one day, while you were sitting by the pool, trying to look occupied with a magazine, helen walked over and plopped down next to you.
“you’re new here, aren’t you?” she asked with a friendly grin, adjusting her sunhat.
you nodded, feeling a little nervous. “yeah, just joined a few weeks ago.”
“i thought so. you have that ‘new kid at school’ look about you,” she laughed, her eyes crinkling at the corners. “i’m helen, by the way.”
you smiled back, already feeling more at ease. “i’m y/n.”
from that moment on, helen became your unlikely friend. while most people at the club were caught up in their social circles, helen was different. she invited you to join her for tennis matches, lunch on the patio, and even an occasional round of golf, though neither of you were particularly good at it. you found yourself spending nearly every day at the club, not because you enjoyed the atmosphere, but because helen made it feel like a second home.
one afternoon, you were sitting with her at your usual spot on the veranda, sipping iced tea and watching the golfers in the distance. helen sighed contently, taking off her sunglasses.
“you know,” she said, “when i first joined this place years ago, i was just like you. young, not knowing anyone, feeling like i didn’t belong.”
you raised an eyebrow, surprised. “really? you seem so... confident here.”
helen chuckled. “oh, honey, that took time. trust me. it’s easy to feel lost in places like this. but once you find your people, it gets a whole lot easier.”
just as you were about to respond, a familiar voice cut through the air. “well, well, well. if it isn’t my two favorite girls.”
you turned to see rafe cameron strolling over, that signature grin plastered on his face. helen smiled warmly, but you felt a familiar mix of nerves and excitement whenever he was around. rafe was your boyfriend, after all, and he made your heart race just by being near.
“rafe,” helen greeted, adjusting her sunhat. “always a pleasure. are you here to steal y/n away from me today?”
“wouldn’t dream of it,” rafe replied smoothly, but his eyes were already on you. “though, I might have to borrow her for a quick round of golf. you still owe me from last time, remember?”
you rolled your eyes playfully. “you mean the time you cheated and still managed to lose?”
he laughed, shaking his head. “i didn’t cheat. i just... strategized.”
helen chuckled softly, watching the exchange with amusement. “you two are ridiculous. fine, take her. i’ll just sit here and enjoy the view.”
as rafe led you toward the golf course, you could feel the warmth of his arm casually slung over your shoulders. it was moments like these that reminded you how close you and rafe had always been, even if things felt... different lately. maybe it was the way he looked at you now, or how he found excuses to spend more time with you.
the next few days passed, and you found yourself hanging out with helen more and more. you attended her book club meetings, went to the spa together, and even joined her for some social events at the club. with every passing day, your bond with helen deepened, and you felt more confident and relaxed in the country club setting.
but rafe wasn’t as happy about your new friendship. you noticed him watching from a distance more often than not, his brow furrowing as you laughed with helen or shared a joke over lunch. his playful demeanor shifted to something more serious whenever he caught sight of you with her.
one afternoon, while you were enjoying a late lunch with helen at the club's patio, you felt a presence behind you. you turned to find rafe standing there, arms crossed and a smirk on his face that didn’t quite reach his eyes.
“what are you two chatting about that’s so secretive?” he asked, trying to sound casual but clearly annoyed.
“oh, just girl talk,” you replied, trying to keep the mood light. “you know, life, love, and our latest tennis strategies.”
helen smiled, but you could see a flicker of concern in her eyes as rafe’s expression darkened. “you know, rafe, you could join us if you want,” she offered, her voice cheerful but firm.
“nah, i’m good. just came to see if y/n wanted to hang out,” he replied, his gaze fixed on you.
you exchanged a glance with helen, sensing the tension rising. “actually, I was just about to help helen practice for her next match,” you said, trying to defuse the situation.
“right,” rafe said, his tone a little sharper than before. “because that’s way more fun than spending time with your boyfriend.”
you frowned, sensing the edge in his voice. “rafe, it’s not like that. helen’s become a good friend to me.”
“i get that,” he replied, running a hand through his hair. “but it feels like you’re always with her these days. can’t we just hang out like old times?”
you took a deep breath, trying to find the right words. “we can, but that doesn’t mean i can’t have other friends too. helen’s important to me.”
“i know, i just—” rafe paused, frustration evident in his expression. “i just miss you, okay?”
his honesty caught you off guard. “you don’t have to worry about that. i still want to hang out with you,” you reassured him. “but helen is... well, she’s special to me too.”
rafe looked torn, his expression softening slightly. “fine, but just know that if she starts taking you away from me, i’m not letting that happen.”
you laughed, feeling a sense of relief. “that’s fair, but don’t worry. you’re still my favorite.”
“for now,” he replied with a smirk, the tension easing as he finally joined you and helen at the table.
as the three of you chatted and laughed, you realized that your time at the country club was becoming something much more significant than you ever imagined. it wasn’t just about finding your place; it was about nurturing friendships that could withstand jealousy and uncertainty. with helen's guidance and rafe's playful determination to keep you close, you felt like you were finally finding your footing in this new chapter of your life.
the more you balanced your time between rafe and helen, the more you appreciated both relationships. it was a dance—one where you could be supportive and have fun without sacrificing your connection with rafe. he was your boyfriend, and no amount of time with helen could change that. and as long as rafe understood, you were sure you could make it work.

✩ about: you realize you do need simon.
✩ content: NSFW 18+, afab reader, squirting, breeding, cum play, domestic fluff, marriage mentions, slight anxiety, no mentions of y/n.
✩ a.n: ahhhhh my babies
.ăƒ»ă€‚.ăƒ»ă‚œâœăƒ».ăƒ»âœ«ăƒ»ă‚œăƒ»ă€‚.
“what did you just said?” did you hear him well? move in with him? “i said, move in with me” simon tightened his hold on your waist. he felt your body tense as soon as he said those words.
“but, simon, i-“ you took a hard breath “i don’t know if that’s a good decision?” you thought maybe he felt pity for you, maybe he was just asking this as friends? “hey” simom said turning your face over to his “you don’t need to answer me right, just think about it yeah?“
“okay” you said in a small voice
-
you remember how you never talked with him about moving in, even though you dated almost 2 years, commitment scared you, and him.
moving in with him was a serious talk, and you never dared to mention it. simon on the other hand never found the chance to ask you.
he hated when you left at night, hated when he came back to his flat alone, hated when he had to go running to your apartment because he fucking needed you so much.
by the time he was gathering the courage to ask you, distance made its appearance in your relationship. he ranked up, you were focused on your job. he knew your relationship was dying.
everytime he left he remembered the ring in his drawer. simon knew he was in love with you. yet never said anything, he never said i love you to you and neither you.
except for that night
àšâ™Ąà§
simon fucked your brains out that night, god knows which round was this, but you were exhausted as hell “come on baby, i know you can, just give me another one” simon had you on your back, legs pressed to your chest, grinding his cock on your pussy
it felt surreal, he kept hitting all the spots that made you see stars, you were crying by now, whining his name like a mantra “i can’t simon, it’s too much” simon just shutted your mouth with his lips, his forearms were next to you head, feeling his hands hold your face delicately.
until one of his hands moved downwards. you were so cockdrunk you didn’t even feel it. simon in an instantstarted circling your clit so fast, slapping it every now and then.
it was overstimulating you. but in a good way “s-simon it feels so good” you were a moaning mess now, everything felt so good you were sure you were about to pass out.
“come on love, i want you to cum with me” he was holding his orgasm back, he could feel your breasts pushed on his chest everytime he moved, your nipples too. he was such a boob man he was adoring this. his other hand on your head moved until he could grab one of your breasts.
he started pinching your nipple, rubbing it, grabbing your breast and just holding in there, everything felt so fucking good to you you didn’t even feel your orgasm coming
“oh my fucking god” he could feel your orgasm approaching making him start pounding on you so hard your hips were probably gonna have bruises tomorrow “there you go sweetheart, cum on my fucking cock” and that was all you needed.
simon just saw the way you closed your eyes, grabbed his back with all your force and moaned so fucking loud. he came in an instant. thick ropes of cum painting your walls white
you were so focused on your orgasm you never noticed you started squirting. hard. but simon did, making him cum again. he could see all your squirt on his abdomen, coming out so quick of you he even pulled his cock out of you to see it.
in a second he felt another orgasm coming, the view was so erotic he cummed on the spot. he was on his knees now, no hands needed, just seeing his cock squeeze all his cum out his hands squeezing your thighs. he was a moaning mess too, his abs clenching everytime he cummed. he felt another thick rope of cum, making him lose his force for a second, almost falling on top of you, but he managed to keep his forearms up.
he wasn’t thinking when he started grinding his cock on your stomach, cum still coming out of him, and now near your breasts. you were slowly gaining consciousness again, feeling something gliding in your stomach.
it was until you saw simon’s cock grinding on your stomach you felt yourself squirting again, how the fuck? “simon” you moaned his name so loud you were sure the neighbours were going to complain.
“i’m here baby, fuck, i can see the mess your making from here” you could feel the sheets wet under you, blush coming full force in your cheeks.
“look at all you made me cum” you felt simon’s hands on your face now. you could see half of your stomach covered with his cum. you could also feel all of simon’s cum coming out of your cunt. the sheets were definetly stained now.
you weren’t thinking when you moved your hand and gathered all his cum on your fingers, putting them on your mouth
simon was getting hard again “you tryna make me cum again doll?” you just laughed mischeviously
you locked your eyes on him smiling “come on, i need to clean you up love”
one thing about simon is his aftercare is from another world, he peppered you with kisses while you were on the bath, on your neck, on your head, on your shoulders, just everywhere.
you were seated in front of him. simon was busy cleaning your body, his hands roaming all over your body, specifically your breasts, he stayed there massaging them for a while, just playing with your nipples.
“simon” you whined, he was overstimulating you :( “sorry love, got carried away”
simon changed the sheets while you were inside the bathroom brushing your hair, he just put on his sweatpants no boxers and waited for you in bed
as soon as you laid in bed and curled up on his chest, exhaustion began.
“i’m sorry for the mess” you slurred on his chest, simon just laughed softly “nothing to be sorry about love, that was the hottest thing i’ve ever seen”
you just punched his chest, and in an instant you were dead asleep. simon stayed awake for a while, just seeing your sleeping form made him feel something inside him.
he couldn’t see himself without you, you were his everything now, a part of his life.
“i love you” he said it so low you couldn’t even hear his chest rumble. simon just kissed you on the head and brought you closer to his chest.
the next morning simon had a painful erection, and you were practically on top of him. you woke up feeling something between your legs, but, connected the dots fast.
“horny aren’t we?” you whispered, simon was still asleep.
you moved yourself sideways, and brought your hand closer to his sweats. as soon as you brought them down and saw he wasn’t wearing any boxers, your mouth watered.
his erection just popped out on top of his stomach, painfully red, and waiting to let his cum out. let’s just say you spent your morning pleasuring simon as much as you could đŸ«
àšâ™Ąà§
simon always knew your relationship was based on actions rather than words.
you always organized his apartment when he left for a mission, cleaned his room, cooked for him, practically spoiling him everytime he came back from a mission.
and the ring always stayed hidden on his desk drawer, even after you broke up with him, he still kept in inside his drawer, never wanting to forget you he still loved you so much
-
you couldn’t sleep that night. simon stayed and helped you clean up your apartment, the domesticity of it making your mind run a million thoughts was moving in a good decision? maybe it’s time to leave this place, it’s full of bad memories now you thought.
yet a small part of you was scared, scared of fucking it up with him, scared of doing something wrong. your previous relationship messed up your head, making it harder for you to trust.
as you were cooking the next day, a subtle nervousness bubbled inside you. thoughts of moving in with him filled your mind with a mix of excitement and anxiety.
deep down, you couldn't deny the genuine desire for being with him again, you could do things right this time. the anticipation of sharing your space with simon and intertwining lives together brought a beautiful vulnerability to the relationship.
maybe this was what you both needed. and that’s when it hit you, simon didn’t text you today, you did tell him you needed to think about it, yet you felt anxious, what if he left again for a mission? you would miss your chance!
a sudden warm feeling settled in your chest, you longed for him, the desire to be with him again surged very quick. it wasn't just about moving in with him; it was to feel the comfort of his presence, to be wrapped in the safety of his arms. in that moment, the anxiety you felt transformed into a yearning that could only be eased by the simple pleasure of being close to him once more.
it was snowing outside, yet that didn’t stop you, you grabbed your jacket and left running. the cold was hitting your face very hard now, making it red, but you didn’t care anymore, you needed to be with him.
you saw the familiar block near you and felt the anxiety on throat. thoughts of what he might think, what he could say, echoed relentlessly in your mind. creating a knot in your stomach.
each passing second intensified the unease, desperately hoping for reassurance and warmth.
outside his door, your heart raced as you knocked, the sound echoing your anxiety. the moment he opened it, your eyes locked, and without a word, you kissed him.
desperation fueled your actions you instinctively reached for his shirt collar, pulling him closer. you felt home again
the kiss held pent-up emotions, longing and a silent plea for closeness. time seemed to pause as your lips met, the intensity of the connection momentarily eclipsing any lingering uncertainties.
his response was immediate, a reciprocation of the intensity that crackled in the air. the outside world faded away as the kiss deepened, becoming a language of its own.
it was a fusion of passion and reassurance, a shared moment that spoke volumes without a single word. his arms enveloped you, drawing you even closer, as if trying to bridge any emotional gap that lingered between you both.
in the intense embrace, the worries of what might be said or regretted melted away, replaced by the warmth of him. he pulled away first, breathing hard, his deep voice getting you out of your trance.
breathless, you looked up at him, a hint of a smile playing on my lips. "what am I doing here? i needed to see you. needed this" you replied, your voice carrying the weight of unspoken emotions.
he blinked, a mix of surprise and concern in his eyes. "you walked here?" a gentle worry in his voice as he pulled you inside, closing the door behind you. the warmth of his apartment was a stark contrast to the chilly night.
“maybe” you said shyly, simon just got rid of your jacket, holding you at arms length. “bloody hell, you’ll catch a cold” simon worried voice spoke.
"i don't care about the cold," you confessed, meeting his gaze. "i care about being with you."
"i came here to say i do want to move in with you," you admitted, the words escaping with a vulnerability that surprised even you. "i need you, need us to be together."
simon didn't respond with words. instead, he silenced your worries with another passionate kiss. it was a response that spoke louder than any affirmation could.
simon picked you up, and held you very close to him, he had you back again. you felt the door behind you now, making simon put his hand behind your head. the kiss felt so deep you could feel how simon felt.
he thought maybe you would leave him again, maybe he spoke too early, but as soon as you said those words, relief washed all over him. you were his again.
“i missed you so fucking much” you said with such a fragile voice, emotions getting the best out of you
as simon wrapped his arms around your waist, a sudden wave of emotion engulfed you, threatening to spill over.
the realization that he was by your side again, became almost overwhelming. the words caught in your throat as you fought back tears, unable to contain the warmth that engulfed your chest.
your quiet voice admitted it "i missed you so so much" a simple yet profound truth that carried the weight of every lonely moment you had endured in his absence.
"i missed you too doll, more than words can say" he responded, his voice laced with a sincerity that mirrored the intensity of your emotions.
a shared acknowledgment of the profound impact of your connection. as you held each other again, you felt genuine joy of being together again.
“just know that you won’t get rid of me now, nor ever” a promise simon felt deep in his heart. you kissed him again laughing a little.
simon smiled in between the kiss, sealing the joy of being together again.. he had you back again ♡
.ăƒ»ă€‚.ăƒ»ă‚œâœăƒ».ăƒ»âœ«ăƒ»ă‚œăƒ»ă€‚.

Note
I've seen you discuss this with other people but I've only made the jump from J dramas to C ones where it's mostly about romance and are c writers allergic women making the same effort in a relationship or... Granted I've only watched dramas from this year at first I thought it was just historical stuff but it's not it's practically every romance drama will love in spring-snowstorm-love endures-in blossom-double-shenli-royal princess-my boss-our interpreter and so on. If she's not outright treating him badly he's a cirque du Soleil contortionist trying to please her and she's not even in the circus don't they know balance is key to everything? Different dramas should have different bonds it's quite concerning that it's just one thing almost every time I think it speaks to a larger issue or maybe I'm overthinking it
idk what to tell you anon. It may simply be that chinese dramas are not to your taste and that's ok. I tried the occasional kdrama for years and didn't really fall in love with many... Most jdramas don't engage me. But when I tried a few cdramas it was like love at first sight. Something about the stories they want to tell, the themes they explore, and the characters they tend to portay just hooks me. And that's a very personal thing.
All I can share is that as a middle-aged corporate lesbian girlboss... a surprising amount cdramas have connected with me about how they explore a woman who is career focused & has to balance that with developing a romantic relationship and then maintaining one.
And when I'm consuming a romance storyline, what preocupies me is if I find it interesting, if the characters both feel vibrant & dynamic, if I can see how they might work together. Do their broken pieces fit? Can I see a path where eventually they can reach a point of mutual understanding, where both are fulfilled? Do I get their vibe? Do they have a unique vibe? Do I believe they like each other, as people? Or at least, do I see a clear path where they will be/have these things by the end of the story?
That's what dictates if I want to keep watching/reading a romance. Personally, I don't spend a lot of time weighing up perceived effort/favors and needing things to be perceived as "even". I would not want to date a person who thinks like that, because I find that idea stressful and off-putting! 🙈 If the people are happy, then they're happy! If neither feels abused & taken advantage of, if they're clearly content, then I don't need to calculate 'same effort' parity.
But that's just me! Everyone is different. And you don't have to overthink or justify what TV you like or don't like. Maybe cdramas aren't for you. That's all good. But please don't ask me to engage with romance this way, it kinda poisons it for me and makes things a bummer. 😔
I simply cannot say that I share your perspective. For instance, I thought Shen Li was a drama with a great otp who had priorities that did not always align but ultimately they ended up in a beautiful relationship with unconventional gender dynamics and in the finale they are clearly super happy & fulfilled together.
The Princess Royal isn't finished yet but lemme say their love in the novel is EPIC. Absolute one of the otps of all time for me. Better characters than most western historical romance novels I've read. If you look at the small stuff and try to weight who did this or that as a series of transactions, imo you are missing the beauty of how these 2 people took a lifetime of getting everything wrong before being ready for each other - but now they are ready, they are listening to each other and remembering to come back with kindness for each other and moving foward into a bond that's truly beautiful. Yeah, it takes almost the whole novel to get there. But IT DOES. No one loves Pei Wenxuan harder than Li Rong, sees the true value of Pei Wenxuan more than Li Rong, and no one will come to his ferocious rescue like Li Rong. I feel like I could cite 35 quotes to prove my point, it's that clear in the text.
a few of the modern cdrama couples who made me want to believe in love again:
Lighter & Princess - academic rivals to lovers to exes to ????, a drama that snuck up on me and slowly made me lose my mind. Best experience is to be unspoiled and thus surprised about where the story takes you. A long winding road, with some huge dips, before they reach a place where they have a beautiful hard-earned partnership. Makes me emotional just to think about them.
Hidden Love is a simple but beautifully acted tale about a sheltered & gently spoiled girl who falls in love with one of her older brother's best friends. Such a common romance plot but the execution is everything. The characters feel warm & real. FL's bittersweet young love tugs at your heart strings. I was impressed at how they crafted the platonic bond she forms with a lonely young man weighed down by financial & emotional family burdens, which later blooms into a mutual affection that enriches both their lives, and it all feels very natural. You really feel that their lives are immeasurably better by being together. Sang Zhi's protectiveness towards him is so !!!

You Are My Glory, which has a very silly sounding concept but ended up one of my fav comfort shows. Beautiful teen girl has a crush on the local school genius and asks him out; he politely rejects her, dismissing her efforts to connect because he can't see what they would have in common. 13 years later, he's a rocket scientist and she's become one of the top idols in china. She's at the peak of her profession but having a tiny PR mishap when caught repping a video game that she actually doesn't play. He's taking a leave from work as he struggles with the economic realities of picking a job that consumes your life but pays like shit. She's looking for help to learn this damn game & cover her ass; she still has his chat ID and he's online with nothing better to do. Once they start interacting, her crush on him returns & he starts to realize that that person he had discounted may actually be that confidant who can walk beside him? My dad was poor scientist who 'wasted' his intelligence following his passion, so I found ML's turmoil especially compelling. [Note: quite a bit of video game playing in the 1st half of the drama (as this is the driver for a celebrity and an unemployed scientist to hang out), then almost none in the second half]

The Road Home, a second chance romance of 2 people who come from rough home-lifes who fell in love when young but couldn't handle a long distance relationship. Then they meet many years later and try a long distance relationship again. I love me a couple who I can believe just get each other and make each other happier when they are together.
youtube
Meet Yourself - a slice-of-life story about a woman whose best friend dies, so she quits her job out of grief to go take the simple vacation that they would talk about doing but never got around to. And naturally she finds herself immersed in village drama and finds a soulmate (big city career woman goes to a small town and falls in love with small town boy is a HUGE american romance cliche, and one I've never enjoyed, so I was surprised at how much I liked this)
Vid Rec - MK916 can always be counted on to publish tons of quality cdrama couple vids

As soon as Spencer was shot in Texas, Hotch made a rule: no one can tell Y/n. Initially, JJ disagreed vocally. She knew Y/n would call when she woke up in DC, and as much as the thought terrified her, those calls could all go unanswered if he didn't make it.
They both had the mutual, painful experience of having someone they loved in a life-threatening situation and could agree that knowing and not being able to do something was worse than not knowing.
JJ couldn't imagine not being able to be apart of the effort to find Will when he had been shot in the bank, use her profiling skills and then physical combat skill to make sure her family was safe. Hotch also had the experience of a wife on bed rest who struggled to stay resting even when he was safe.
One thing they could all agree on was that Y/n would come to Briscoe county if she knew Spencer was in surgery. Even if Matt Cruz and Penelope had to carry her off the jet because she can't fly, she would drive the twenty-four straight hours to see him.
So Alex and JJ end up in the ER, knees bouncing up and down with nervousness. "I should have been me," Alex confesses, staring down at her hands.
"It could have been any of us." JJ agrees, misreading Alex's blame on herself.
"He pushed me out of the way." She says guiltily. It was eating at her since she pressed so tightly on his wound that she thought it would cause a bruise, hoping to keep enough blood to keep him conscious. "JJ, what if he doesn't make it?"
JJ rests her hand on Alex's thigh. "He'll be okay." She assures her, saying it for herself just as much as she's saying it for Alex. "They're about to have a baby. He'll be fighting for that."
Alex doesn't voice her worries about having to call Y/n and tell her that her husband is dead. Knowing that phone call is coming is probably in the back of Y/n's mind like it is hers, both having husbands with dangerous jobs. Even if it's anticipated, her life will never be the same, and Alex's guilt will never go away.
"You know he told me he doesn't think he's going to be a good enough dad?" Alex recalls their conversation a month prior.
JJ scoffs, shaking her head. "He couldn't be more wrong about that."
"Yeah, that's what I told him." She says. "Have you seen the ultrasound picture in his wallet?"
"Oh, I'm pretty sure he shows everyone that." JJ jokes, both of them chuckling. "And he kisses it every night."
Talking about him being okay eases the tension hospital waiting rooms bring. "He's not just going to be a good dad, he's going to be a great one." She settles.
The waiting seems to blur together as it so often does in situations with very little idleness, and it doesn't feel like a lot of time has passed before his name is called, and Alex is standing to hear his fate.
It's good news, exactly the news she and everyone else was hoping for. She's never felt more relief in her life than when she calls JJ, and says it aloud.
Alex and Penelope occupy his hospital room while he's still out from the anesthetic. With herself from Quantico, Penelope brought the most recent ultrasound from his desk and some little figurines, setting them up in front of him.
"Do you think it's a girl or a boy?" Alex asks, sitting in a chair across from Penelope. "The baby?" Now that neither of them feels like their worry is sucking the air out of them, it's more comfortable to talk about him.
Spencer and Y/n had chosen not to find out, figuring it was one of the few good surprises in life, and they didn't need anything different depending on the sex of the baby.
"Girl," Penelope answers before justifying. "But maybe that's just what I want. We've got Henry and Jack, so we need a little girl."
"That's what Spencer thinks, too," Alex remembers. It had taken a little while to get him to confess to it after all of his insisting that he just wanted a healthy baby
Penelope doesn't get the chance to ask Alex what she thinks before someone else is speaking. "What do I think?"
Their eyes quickly snap to Spencer, and another wave of relief rushes over both of them, overjoyed that he hadn't suffered from any brain damage.
"Hey, you," Alex says softly. "How are you feeling?"
"Alive." He replies, mostly feeling so energized because of the intense throbbing in his neck.
"That, we are very grateful for," Penelope says, squeezing his hand.
He's still groggy, adjusting to the light in the room. "Y/n's not here, is she?" He asks, but it's not disappointment in his tone, it's worry.
"No," Alex assures him. "She doesn't know."
"Good." Spencer agrees with Hotch's reasoning unknowingly. "She has to be on bed rest, and she has to keep her cortisol low."
Worrying about her being okay is making his heart rate jump up, and the girls know they have to keep it down. "She's okay, I promise," Penelope assures him. "You need to rest and get better, so you're okay to fly home."
He nods, settling down a little more. "Alex, you should go back to help the team." He dismisses her when he hears her phone buzzing. "Thank you for being here."
She nods, squeezing his knee after she stands up. "Get some rest."
When she leaves, he turns back to Penelope. "Can I tell you something?"
She nods emphatically. "Always."
"We're having a boy." He informs her.
Her eyes light up as she smiles at him. "Spencer, that's amazing. Did you find out?"
He shakes his head. "No, I just know." Usually, his near-death dreams are memories of his childhood, but in this one, he was standing over a bassinet in their bedroom, looking at the most perfect little baby boy he'd ever seen. He had looked too much like Y/n for Spencer to be seeing a baby version of himself.
Penelope resists the urge to hug him, knowing he's far too injured, but she's in tears about it like he is. "I cannot wait to meet perfect baby Reid."
He nods in agreement. "Me, too. Let's hope she doesn't go into labor until I'm back." He chuckles about it, but there's evident concern that he won't make it back in time. If he wasn't in hospital, he could catch a commercial flight home if needed, but when he's also in the hospital, there's not going to be much he could do.
"You'll be back in time," Penelope assures him.
He holds onto that as things get more complicated with another person trying to kill him, and eventually, most of the force being in on the murders.
By the time the worst of it is over, it's dawn in DC, and Spencer calls when he knows she'll be awake. "Good morning." He says softly.
Y/n mutes the TV, although she wasn't really watching it. There's not much to do on bed rest while heavily pregnant. "Hey, busy last night?"
Spencer sighs, looking around the hospital room that Penelope had vacated to sign his release papers. "Something happened." He confesses.
She nervously bites her bottom lip, her heart already beating faster as she starts to stress. "Tell me quick, please."
Right, he should have known that didn't sound good. "I'm okay now, but I did get shot."
"Spencer Reid, you say that far too casually." She scolds. She knows that if she's hearing his voice, it can't be that bad. "Where?"
"My neck." He answers, figuring he'll leave the piece of information out about how close the bullet was to his carotid artery until he can monitor her blood pressure and pulse. "It's a tiny bandage as well."
Y/n knows he loves his job, and he wouldn't choose to do anything else in the world, but she does wish it was a little less dangerous. "Well, I hope you're coming home soon, so I can properly tell you off."
Spencer chuckles at the comment. "I'll be back by tonight. How are you? Staying in bed?"
"Yes." She says flatly, having been texted the question by him so many times. "I'm good, but I'll be better when you get home."
He feels the same way. "Just don't go into labor before then." He requests.
"I'm weeks away." She assures him, rubbing her hands over the bump. He feels differently, knows it deep down, but he's not going to worry her with his intuition.
"Okay, I should go, so I can sign my discharge papers." He decides, noticing Penelope at the door. "I love you."
"I love you, too." She replies. "Thanks for staying alive."
The jet doesn't leave Texas too late, but it'll be dark in DC by the time they get home. He's asleep almost as soon as he lays on the couch, a deep gut feeling telling him that he'll need it
Penelope keeps the secret about baby Reid to herself while Spencer sleeps, unsure of if he wants it known or not. When they were in the hospital, he looked so sure about it that she's sure of it now.
Before they can get in their cars and leave the airport, Spencer finds a moment alone with Hotch. "I need some time."
Hotch raises his eyebrows like he's asking if Spencer is serious. "I'm glad you're asking because it means I don't have to make it an order."
"Thank you," Spencer says, taking Hotch's offer of a handshake.
"Let us know when the baby comes, and we'd like photos, too," Hotch tells him
Spencer can't help but ask Alex about her slip-up in the car while she drives him home as the memories slowly come back to him. "Who's Ethan?"
"My son." She answers before going into the sad story about his death. Spencer's been around a lot of death, children's death as well, but it's terrifying when he's about to become a parent. "I think he would have been a lot like you." She confesses.
"Thank you." He says simply. For two people with a lot of words, it's enough.
Alex grabs his bag for him when they reach the Reids' apartment, and they walk slowly up the stairs. He knows something is bothering her, and he's guessed what. "Are you leaving?" He asks.
It catches her off guard like she forgot he's a profiler. "I am." She answers honestly.
It's easy for him to understand. At least as soon as he blacked out, he couldn't remember anything else. Alex had been the one trying to stop him from dying, and that responsibility, on top of how horrifying their job was, was enough.
"I'm happy for you," Spencer tells her before putting his key in the lock and opening the door.
Y/n practically jumps on him as soon as he's in the apartment, hugging him tightly but carefully. "Oh, my god. You're back, you're here, and you're okay." She exclaims. Seeing him mostly physically okay is better than hearing his voice on the phone.
"I am," Spencer assures her when he finally gets released from the hug. "You're meant to be in bed."
She hits him on the shoulder. "Don't start." She warns before she moves to hug Alex at the awkward angle she now has to hug people at thanks to massive baby Reid. "Thank you for bringing him home." She says appreciatively.
"Of course." Alex nods. She can't help smiling at how in love the two of them are, remembering almost two years ago when Spencer was worried about not being enough to be her husband. "I'll leave you two to it." She says, stepping backward to leave.
Spencer's not really a hugging type of person, but he jumps at the chance to hug her before she goes, thanking her again and then closing the door.
"We should go to bed." He tells Y/n, even though his hands on either side of her bump make it impossible for them to move.
"You scared the shit out of me, you know?" She tells him, frowning up at him.
He kisses her on the forehead softly before kissing her lips. "I know." He answers. "I was scared, too, before I blacked out. But I will always do everything in my power to come home to you." He assures her, each word with such emphasis and meaning. He looks down at her bump. "And you, sweet boy?"
"A boy?" She asks in surprise, his eyes focusing back on her. "Did you realize you're wrong and now you're jumping ship to the right side, Reid?"
He laughs with her. "Yes, I did change my mind, Reid." He retorts. "Now, did you eat?"
"I did. I cleaned the kitchen too. How many boxes of cereal do you really need?" Spencer's face is blank as he realizes what's happening, and she's concerned. "What's up?"
He knows it'll just stress her out to know how common a sign nesting is of labor, so he doesn't say anything. "Just counting how many boxes of cereal I have."
"Eleven." She answers for him. "Eight now, actually, because I was hungry."
He laughs softly before kissing her again. "Come on, let's go to bed." He guides her through the house with his hands on her hips, glancing around the apartment he was so fond of. The bassinet at the edge of the bed always makes him smile, knowing there's going to be a baby in there and soon if his intuition is right.
He tiptoes out of the bedroom once she's showering to put his laundry on, but he's interrupted before he can turn the machine on. It's his wife with a very uneasy look on her face, her skin paler than usual, like she's sick. "I think I'm in labor." She barely manages to get out, voice soft from her shock.
Spencer doesn't freeze or underperform. Silently, he thanks the universe once again, grateful he's alive and back in DC. He did expect it, but that only contributes slightly to his calm front. "Okay, just breathe for a second. I'll go get your bag, and we'll go to the hospital." He narrates to her, keeping his voice slow to calm her.
It's the second hospital he's been at in the last twenty-four hours, and he would much rather be the one in the hospital bed if it meant she wasn't in pain.
Even though he has barely slept in the last week, there's no way he would miss a moment. He's hyper-alert as he comforts her, refuses to take his hand off hers, and makes a few phone calls.
Some terribly long hours of labor later, they have a baby. It was excepted, obviously, something months in preparation, but it's still unreal.
He's loved the little baby for so long, and he didn't realize that love would amplify exponentially. "You look exactly like this when you sleep," Spencer tells her, looking into the clear bassinet and staring at a face that mirrored hers.
"Your nose, though." She tells him, glad about that fact.
"So perfect." He coos. His phone vibrates, but nothing can knock him out of the moment. "The team's here." He reports.
"Send them in." She directs him, knowing he's asking more than telling. "I just should have brought makeup."
He leans down to kiss her forehead. "You look gorgeous."
Hugs are shared when JJ, Will, Henry, Hotch, Jack, Penelope, Alex, Morgan, and Rossi walk in, smiles on all their faces. Spencer very gently picks up the baby, showing him to everyone. "This is Ethan."
He stays asleep as he gets past around to his aunts and uncles and shown to his cousins, who all awe at him. Spencer stands next to Alex while everyone else talks.
"He's perfect," Alex tells him, even though she knows he's thought it a million times.
"I hope you don't mind," Spencer says nervously. "His name, I mean."
She shakes her head. "It's perfect. Enduring."

rui mizuki — another shot (one-shot)
Tumblr media
reaper thinks he has another shot with you, his summer fling.
pairing: rui mizuki / reader (f/m)
words: 908
[cross posted from ao3]
Tumblr media
all good things come to an end and your relationship with rui was never an exception. not the image of your hair blowing in the wind, nor your bare feet running on the sand as you chased waves. neither was your mellifluous laughter or the twinkle in your eye an exception.
rui can still remember your relationship with him like a bitter aftertaste on the back of his throat. he had always loved sparklers on summer nights, yet your light was like fireworks that went off too soon. you lit up his summer nights along with the calming crackle of fire by the beach and the lapping waves on the sand. the wind caressed him like a cool embrace while your adoring eyes warmed him and set his heart aflame.
yet even the tallest of trees have their leaves wither and fall just as the mightiest mountains crumble back into the sea. waves reach out only to ultimately crash back into the ocean, where it originally belonged. if this was the case, why can't rui go back to that time with you?
like that weekend where he drove out of town, his hand on your thigh and your hand over his. he remembers the way you held his hand to interlock your fingers with his, your hand holding his in a perfect fit like puzzle pieces. He held you, his hand in yours as the scenery changed from urban buildings to an expansive landscape of grass and trees, with only the moon as the witness to what you two shared. he held you until your eyes started to flutter close and your breathing evened into shallow breaths, your face content in a deep slumber while the whirring engine of the car enveloped the air.
that summer night— out of all the flings and girlfriends he had, you were the only one he was certain he got right. he was certain that you and that damned summer night was the only place he'd rather be at.
"rui..?" he stood frozen in his tracks despite the warmth your voice brought. he flinched and shuddered as he recognized the owner of that voice– you.
you who was more than he ever deserved, you who showered him with warmth and affection, and you who he thought he loved. he was certain that he did love you, but that love wasn't enough. you gave him all your love yet he only reciprocated your affection with nonchalance and flirty remarks. perhaps it wasn't clear- you wanted someone to love and he wanted a summer fling.
"oh, hey, haha... long time no see, right?" rui would awkwardly chuckle to try and hide the revolt in his stomach and the hammering in his chest.
the smell of your perfume- it was as soothing as it was before. it made him feel, and remember what it was like to be loved. it reminded him of the feeling of your embrace, the feeling of your hair in his hands as he brushed it behind your ear to place a kiss on your cheek. it reminds him of the time when he was still free from his curse.
"yeah." you'd agree with an awkward chuckle of your own, "how are you?" you'd ask him, the small talk you initiated feeling like nails on a chalkboard with how painfully estranged it was.
"i've been good!" rui would cheer, snapping back to his usual act of being the carefree and easygoing playboy, "haha~ don't tell me you've been thinking lots about me~" rui would add as a tease.
ironic of him to say when he's the one hung up on you, reminiscing of your time together on the daily. he didn't know if you had some kind of electric pull on him or if he's just hung up because you were the last fling he was in physical contact with- alas, he missed you all the same. whether it be actual love, or infatuation.
"i see you haven't changed." you'd answer with a shake of your head, a smile on your lips. rui would feel his heart jump, realizing that the smile you donned was because of him. he's the reason for your smile now.
"maybe i did?" rui suggests cheekily with a wink, "do you want to catch up and see for yourself?" he offers. though appearing confident, inside he was shaking and even praying for you to say yes.
surely, this time he'd be able to give back the love that you deserve. surely, this time he'd be able to love you.
"ah, sorry. i'm having lunch with my boyfriend. i only picked some stuff up here for our dog." you'd apologize to rui, declining his offer. he couldn't be mad at you, no, you were just being nice to him.
wait... did you just say boyfriend?
"you have a boyfriend?" rui asks, surprised when you nodded and told him you have.
"ah, i see, i'm sorry..." rui apologizes. "please don't let me keep you. have fun with your date!" he exclaims, acting like everything was fine.
even before you could bid him farewell, rui was off to leave, not even shooting another glance back at you. no, he must leave right at this instant or else you'll see him crumble. you'll see his crestfallen expression, you'll hear his heart break, and you'll feel him being torn into pieces.
did he really think he had another shot at you?

day five
Something about the check-in at the hotel in Manchester was fishy and had caused a ridiculous amount of chaos that needed to be sorted out by the tour managers. I made the best of the situation and got comfortable in the lobby with my laptop, determined to get some work done ahead of time. Lia was going to be here in just a few hours and I'd promised her to free my schedule as much as possible.
Plus, I knew we would be drinking, so the ride to Glasgow tomorrow was going to be spent regretting my hangover and lying in my bunk, not doing hours of work.
The only strange thing about the day so far was that I had seen neither Oli nor Noah. Noah’s absence was to be expected to a certain extent; he was in a different band, on a different bus, with slightly deviating schedules, so the chances of running into each other could be quite low. I hadn't gotten a message from him either though. At least rumour had been going around that he woke up as good as new this morning, whatever had been beating him down yesterday had vanished completely. Oli was more surprising considering he was consistently put into an adjacent hotel room, travelled in the same tour bus and technically employed me.
Funnily enough, the question about the two missing frontmen was answered sooner than the check-in chaos got resolved. I heard the two of them entering the lobby together before I saw them. Pushing each other away, both seemed eager to get to me first as soon as they spotted me, stealing a bag from each other's hands over and over again.
“Fucking stop, I’m the one who knew to get this for her,” Oli complained, trying to keep the paper bag out of Noah’s reach, who was quicker than him and caught it behind Oli’s back.
“Yeah, and I’m the one who’s gonna give it to her!”
“Give it back, you wanker!”
Their fight came to an abrupt end as they stood in front of me looking up at them over my laptop.
“I got you something,” Oli explained, motioning to the bag.
“We got you something,” Noah corrected.
“Just because you walked next to me, doesn’t mean you had anything to do with it!”
I felt another bout of their little spat coming on, so I quickly intervened and stole the bag from Noah’s hands. Both of them quieted down immediately, watching me as I opened it up. The sweet scent of pastries filled my nostrils immediately.
“Are these
?” I didn’t finish my question as I brought the baked good to my nose, inhaling it deeply once again before taking a hearty bite ouf of its flakey goodness. I didn't know how Oli new. I couldn't remember if I'd ever told him and if I had, I was sure it was in passing only. The fact that he not only was aware of my sweet tooth but also went out of his way to satisfy it with my favourite goods caused my stomach to flip. “Thank you so much, that’s so sweet.”
“From your favourite bakery,” Oli proudly agreed. “You said you weren’t in Manchester that often and- well, I thought after yesterday-”
“Wait, what happened yesterday?”
Suddenly, Noah was all ears. I was much too preoccupied with the best thing I’d tasted in months to think about how to explain. Oli had mentioned it, Oli could solve the situation.
“Aubrey was in a right mood last night,” Oli said with grin. “A little brat.”
I almost choked on my pastry, a few flakes flying away from me as I got my breathing back under control. I shouldn’t have been so surprised. Oli was hardly known for being a prude about these things.
“And I went to sleep instead,” Noah groaned, sounding genuinely remorseful. Our eyes met for a moment. Somehow, I knew we were both remembering last night, too, me bringing him back to the hotel room, him warning me off. He looked away first, as if a little embarrassed. I wasn’t sure what to do with it.
“I’m sure you’ll find out for yourself soon enough,” it burst out of me. But I’d already learned that the combination of us three left very little room to hold back in that aspect.
Oli leaned down to me, his thumb wiping at the corner of my mouth where some chocolate had seemingly gotten stuck. He tapped my lips. It was enough for me to dumbly open my mouth and suck it in, twirling my tongue around it to get another taste. He chuckled darkly, satisfied how easily I went along with him, before pulling away, finding another bit of chocolate to swipe away, this time offering his thumb to Noah.
He was torn. Quite visibly so. The tension hung in the air as he tried to decide on which move to make now, all three of us basically holding our breaths to see what would transpire.
Then, some loud laughter from the crew erupted somewhere else in the lobby, loud enough to pull him out of it. He actually shook his head, as if that could make the thoughts disappear.
“Fuck you, Oli,” he muttered, without much force behind it.
“Yeah,” Oli laughed, licking the chocolate of his thumb himself, “I bet you’d like to.”
‱‱‱
Whoever said that time flies when you’re having fun had never felt time slipping through your fingers when you were desperately trying to get your boss to get to all things in his agenda on time while he was being an absolute arse for no reason but to amuse himself. On top of that, your best friend was blowing up your phone in excitement of getting to see you, effectively starting a countdown that only served to distract you from the work you should be doing.
By seven o’clock, I was thoroughly exhausted and annoyed. At some point, Noah had even pulled me aside to give me a much needed hug, although it had been cut short by Lia announcing her imminent arrival. Luckily, Lia did what she did best and that was raise my mood impossibly the very second I saw her.
Her arms around me felt like home. She was the only anchor I felt I still had, while I was always trying to never get too settled in one place with my work taking me all over, but we’d been friends since childhood and she’d always refused to budge. I didn’t thank her for it enough.
“Okay, catch me up asap, what’s been happening, what’s been going down, have you managed to bang anyone yet?”
I shot an apologetic smile at the two stagehands walking past as I walked down the corridor with Lia, an AAA pass hung around her neck and so excited that I wondered if she’d had a drink before coming here. With a slightly quicker step, I dragged her into Oli’s dressing room, aware he was currently hanging out with the rest of his band.
“Well, there’s been no fucking, but
”
I awkwardly started tidying up the dressing room. It came as second nature, really, trying to make sure things were in order, helping Oli out for later, not letting him drown in his chaos. I busied myself with a hoodie that I decided needed folding.
“But?! Aubrey, you’re not seriously gonna leave me starved for information here!”
“I mean, I did make out with Noah and I’ve seen Oli’s dick, so
”
Her squealing, I was pretty sure, could be heard next door and I couldn’t help but laugh. Lia was nothing if not supportive of basically anything I did.
I gave her a quick rundown of the last few days, keeping some of the details to myself while still letting her know what I’d been up to, including just about every endeavour I’d found myself in with the guys. She did nothing short of react appropriately, aw-ing and ooh-in and gasping and laughing. I’d missed having her around.
In the middle of me letting Lia know that, yes, I most definitely got cleaned up after last night’s escapade and, no, Oli and I hadn’t spoken about it yet and also, no, I didn’t think Noah knew, when the door to the dressing room flew open and revealed Oli himself.
“Speak of the devil,” Lia mused and I briefly panicked about her letting Oli know just what we were talking about, even though I knew fully well she would never betray me like that.
“I could say the same about you,” Oli replied, attempting to sound cruel but unable to hide the smile on his face.
“Why on earth would you have been talking about me?”
“Oh, I wasn’t. I was referring to the part where you are the devil.”
“Oh, you bastard!” Lia exclaimed with a laugh. “You coming out with us after the show?”
“Hell no. We got an early bus call and a four-hour drive to Glasgow. And I know what you get up to, Lia.”
My heart sank a little, even though I knew Oli was only being reasonable. We did only have a few hours in the hotel before we needed to get going again. I was going to be fine, really - I planned on not getting blackout drunk and there wasn’t too much left for me to do tomorrow that I hadn’t already taken care of. Plus, I wasn’t the one who had to be up on stage that night delivering the show of their life.
“Fucking party pooper.”
“I’m so much of a party pooper that I specifically came to get you two because Bad Omens are about to start. Managed to organise some wine for you too. Good enough?”
“Just about,” Lia mused, standing up and walking past him and out of the room with the confidence only someone who had on idea which way the stage was could have. We both looked at her leave, overly amused, until I remembered she was my friend and I should probably make sure she wouldn’t get completely lost.
Oli stopped me at the door. “You gonna stop by when you get back tonight?”
“I could just text you that I got back safe, you know. It might get late.”
He slung his arm around my waist, pulling me into a side hug, a telling smirk playing on his lips. “I’ll gladly wake up for you.”
‱‱‱
I wasn’t quite sure how we ended up in Oli’s suite - a suite! Motherfucker had a suite all to himself! - playing questionable drinking games (Truth or dare? Never have I ever? 21 questions? Honestly, it was hard to tell at this point) way past midnight and maybe it was because I was a little intoxicated - not drunk, I was still aware I had a bus ride in just a few hours - but I was tipsy enough not to question it just yet.
The evening had gone something like this: Oli had, in fact, organised two bottles of wine and exclusive seats for us during the show. Lia was blown away by Bad Omens and the way Noah sang and how she couldn’t blame me at all for crushing on him. Then, Lia followed it up by being blown away by Bring Me The Horizon and their production and the Oli’s stage presence and the fact that I had somehow not banged him yet. Especially when he effectively climbed his videographer. Didn't help with the thoughts in my head either. Both of those bottles were killed by the time the show was over.
We had briefly ventured out to Lia’s favourite bar for a few shots, but had quickly realised that talking about Oli and Noah in a crowded place full of people who had just left the very concert they had performed at, wasn’t the wisest decision. So, with some more alcohol in tow, Lia had stolen my phone and texted the two men and somehow, somehow convinced them to join us for a little afterparty. Now all of us were feeling the buzz and going along with Lia’s questionable ideas.
“Worst place you’ve ever vomited?”
“Just about every single time it happened on stage, and love, it happened,” Oli laughed. Those had been the bad times. I didn’t miss them at all. I’d trade them for this version of Oli, happy, healthy, optimistic, flirty, bloody gorgeous any day.
“Alright. No need to get into that. Noah, empty your wallet and show everyone what’s inside.”
Noah didn’t hesitate, grabbing the item from the back pocket of his trousers and emptying its contents. There wasn’t too much interesting stuff in there - ID, a credit card, some loose change in more than one currency. Lia grabbed onto the condom wrappers immediately. Three of them.
“Ultra thin, extra lube, ribbed,” she read aloud. “Damn, someone knows how to treat their partners.”
Noah blushed a little under the redness that the alcohol had already flushed his cheeks with. I was pretty sure I did the same, my mind running away with thoughts. This was good. He quickly gathered them up again and stowed them away but I didn’t think he missed the way Oli raised his eyebrows at him. Surprise enough that he didn’t say anything.
“Aubrey, who would you like to kiss in this room?”
“Who wouldn’t I like to kiss!” I giggled, taking another sip of wine, even though it was starting to get to my head. Obviously.
“Well, me, hopefully, or you’ll have to deal with my wife,” Lia laughed, holding up the wedding ring on her finger. “Anyway. What caused your last relationship to break down?”
She didn’t aim the question at anyone in particular, but Noah, sweet, closed-off Noah, suddenly had an intense urge to answer.
“What didn't,” he groaned, throwing his had back and cradling the bottle in his hands. “Touring, the distance, the groupies that don’t exist, the missed phone calls, the not being enough.” He threw his hands in the air in defeat. I thought it was the most he had revealed about himself, like, ever. “And here comes the kicker. I was talking about proposing to her with the guys and looking up rings the very morning of the day she broke up with me.”
Silence engulfed us. A comment from Folio, just a few days ago, and Noah’s very unamused answer was whirling in my head, but I was too intoxicated to make perfect sense of it right now. I just knew there was a connection.
I didn’t know if telling him I was sorry would cut it. Bit of a big deal, really, finding someone to marry who drops you like that. What do you say to that? Luckily, good old Oli jumped in pretty much immediately.
“Emotionally unavailable and obsessed with myself,” he said. “Pretty sure that’s a direct quote, too. Probably not too wrong about it either.”
Apparently we were sharing break-up stories now. My turn, I decided.
“Told her that, very theoretically, mind, I would be open to polyarmory. Because, you know, I definitely think you can be in love with more than one person. And if everyone’s happy, I’m sure there’s something great about relationships that aren’t just two people. Well,” I mused, throwing back another sip of wine to keep myself going, spilling a little on my top, “all she heard was ‘this is an open relationship without any rules now’ and went and banged someone else the next day.”
The three of us looked each other, throwing pitiful looks around, realising we were all pretty fucked up in our own ways, and suddenly broke out laughing. It almost took my breath away, the intensity of the relief of sharing these little things with people so dear to me, letting them understand me a little better, understanding them a little better in return and oh god more wine on me. These jeans would have to go straight into the washing.
“Enough tearjerker stories,” Lia announced, but there was no malice in her words. “Let’s get back to the fun questions! Worst sex experience! Oli, please, I want to hear yours.”
“Alright, first one that comes to mind right now, couple of years ago, right, I hook up with this girl, all fun and games, but it’s very fucking tame, you know? And out of nowhere she just fucking chokes me. I’m not saying I don’t like it, but that proper came out of fucking nowhere. Like. Normally, you’d ease up to it, if you hadn’t talked about it.”
Suddenly, Oli seemed to be sitting much closer to Noah than before. I wasn’t sure if it was my imagination. Or the light.
“You’d have your hands on them somewhere,” Oli explained, drawing out his words, as his hand landed on Noah’s chest. He was caught off guard for a moment, but silently allowed the moment to play out. “Slowly move them up, see if they enjoy it.”
Oli followed through. Noah was definitely enjoying it. I was transfixed on the display in front of me.
 “Get a little skin-on-skin contact.”
His fingers were tracing the line where Noah’s shirt ended, just letting his fingertips play with the hem a little. I’d never seen Oli so gentle, but it was doing things to my body. Noah’s breathing was speeding up now, chest heaving, unable to keep it hidden. I couldn’t blame him at all.
“See how they react to your hand being closer to their throat.”
Oli’s hand moved higher, carefully stroking the skin at Noah’s neck. Noah swallowed, hard, his eyelids fluttering shut. It was as if he was loosing all control over his bodily reactions. It was intoxicating to watch.
“And maybe, you know, if they don’t move away or move your hand, you can give it a try.”
And Oli did. Wrapping his hand around Noah’s throat and squeezing a little. Just the slightest bit. Just the possibility of more. And Noah moaned.
“And that’s my cue to get myself on an uber home!” Lia declared loudly, standing up and just about catching the wine bottle that had been in her lap before it toppled over onto the carpet. She was swaying a little, quite obviously the most drunk out of the four of us and I quickly made the executive decision to accompany her downstairs and wait with her. Oli gave me a nod, a satisfied smirk on his face. Noah didn’t look at me at all, but he seemed to be questioning all his life choices.
“Girl! What’s going on between the two of them? I knew you were developing
something with both of them, you didn’t tell me about the two of them with each other!”
I awkwardly fumbled with Oli’s room key as we descended on the lift. “I don’t think they know either.”
“But, do you mind?”
I looked at her, thoughtful for a moment, almost missing the time frame to leave the lift as it arrived in the lobby. Did I mind?
“No,” I answered, without giving it any further thought, just knowing. “No, I really don’t.”
“That’s what I wanted to hear,” Lia giggled, giving me a hug so enthusiastically it almost toppled us over. “Now go, go and get them together and then get them both for yourself.”
‱‱‱
I didn’t knock when I used the key card to get back into Oli’s room. It shouldn’t have come as a surprise that I was going to be back - not only had I actively snatched the card from the desk but I had also left all my stuff in there. Still, none of us had seen the situation coming, apparently.
The first thing I saw when I entered the room was that neither Oli nor Noah were still sitting on the couch. The second thing I saw was that Oli had pressed Noah against the wall instead.
They didn’t notice me immediately, too caught up in their own world as Oli frantically pressed his lips to Noah’s. Entangled as if they simply couldn’t get close enough, one of Oli’s hands was in Noah’s hair, keeping him in place, keeping him complacent, the other running up the outside of his thigh, as Noah was pawing at Oli’s back, as if not sure what his hands were looking for, but trying all the same. My heart fluttered with
love? The door falling shut behind me caught their attention.
They didn’t jump apart. In fact, their hands were still exactly where they had left them. But both of them had turned their heads so fast it looked painful.
“Don’t stop on my account,” I grinned. “I’m very much enjoying this.”
Noah was visibly shaken up and out of breath and I wondered if that was what happened to people who got to kiss Oli Sykes, but Oli himself was in the best of moods.
“See, I heard that you went and kissed our Noah here,” he explained, slowly detaching himself from him. Noah’s body almost followed on its own account, seemingly not having enough of the other man just yet. “And I got really, really jealous. But now I’m realising that means he got to kiss you, too.”
“There’s really no need to be jealous, at all,” I replied, letting him come closer and closer, just to push him back onto the couch. Straddling his lap, my thighs on either side of his, was a logical conclusion. “You can kiss me anytime.”
There was a hint of hesitation. Something familiar in his eyes, something like home. A decade-long friendship that was begging to be ruined. I knew he saw the same in me. We’d done things with each other, things to each other, that went beyond any regular friendship. But this moment, this temptation of finally getting his mouth on mine, a kiss, felt like it weighed so much more heavily on both of us.
His hands landed on my thighs, moving up to the small of my back, giving me security and safety and all rationality be damned, I leaned down and allowed my lips to touch his.
A shockwave travelled through every inch of my being, then the tension evaporated, as if this was where I'd always meant to be. Oli was soft and pliant under me, a stark contrast to how he usually presented himself, to how he usually behaved around me even, but I indulged in the feeling, grabbing onto his arms to make them wrap around me, letting him hold me close, tightly. I couldn't stop my own hands from tracing along his torso, his neck, his face, silently mapping his body in a way I had never been allowed to before. When his tongue licked against my lips, I let him in.
The kiss became more frantic as I lost all self-control. Years and years of unfulfilled desires poured into us as I pressed myself into him. Oli tasted sweet, so much sweeter than expected, even with the beer still lingering. I could feel myself falling, deeper and deeper, like a feral animal willingly setting foot into a trap, the temptation of the bait calling too loudly to ignore.
I noticed the couch dip before my brain realised Noah was next to us. Then his hand was at the back of my head, gripping my hair and pulling me off Oli. Instantly, he had me turned toward him, Oli’s hands still on me, my body still on his lap, but now my lips were crashing into Noah’s. It was electrifying, his frantic kiss, how his lust must have built as he watched us. Oli’s mouth now at my neck, licking along my tendon, finishing it off with a soft bite.
Noah swallowed my moans easily, still holding me in place, still roughly moving my head to his own wishes. Oli was grinding up into me, his hard dick against my core making me squirm even through the layers, thoughts of what it had looked like, what he had looked like overwhelming my mind. When Noah let go of me it felt so sudden that I almost lost my balance, hands trying to find the couch table behind me as a way to steady myself. The dull noise of a bottle hitting the carpeted floor had all three of us halt in our movements.
The wine ended up on the carpet after all, like a bad metaphor for whatever the three of us had just started and might be unable to stop.
I got up from Oli’s lap, Noah also standing up as if he suddenly didn’t know where he was supposed to be anymore. The awkwardness in the room was tangible, the lines we had just crossed almost becoming visible in my mind as my tipsy brain struggled to make sense of the consequences.
When Noah and I announced our separate departures, Oli didn’t say a word, still staring at the dark red colour seeping into the plush beneath his feet. Both of us went in opposite directions in the hallway. I didn’t know if that was supposed to be a metaphor too.

Tumblr media
It wasn’t supposed to be like this. It was meant to be much easier.
A full day of driving: San Diego to Napa in 10 hours, if you’re lucky. But Bradley is a good driver and it was cheaper than flying this time of year if you split gas and you really thought it would be fine. That’s what you told yourself.
“Fucking Nat,” you mutter, inaudible over the pounding of the rain on the windshield. Of course she had to have her fucking birthday party — which is really just a party with the other aviators and you — in Napa, of all places. Of course she’d suggest you and Bradley drive together.
Of fucking course.
“I think we’re going to have to call it,” Bradley says. He’s white knuckling the wheel, which can’t be a good sign considering he flies million dollar jets for a living. “This isn’t going to get any better and I’m worried we’ll get stranded if we wait too long to pull off.”
It really is pouring. It started a half hour ago and hasn’t let up since. And now it’s dark and you can barely see in front of you with the headlights on.
“Yeah, okay.”
He pulls off at the next exit — you think you’re somewhere south of San Francisco, maybe near Carmel? You look for a motel on your phone as the car crawls down the empty exit ramp.
“There’s a Days Inn in .5 miles if you turn
right?” you tell him. “That work?” Bradley doesn’t look at you, eyes focused on the road. His jaw is tense.
“Is that okay for you?” You’re not sure what he’s implying. At this point, you don’t really care where you stop as long as you do.
“Cheap is fine,” you say. “I just want to sleep.”
The corner of his mouth pulls up for just a second. “Me too. Maybe we can order food, or something. I’m starved.” He’s always hungry.
“Okay.”
Rooster is a good guy. You know it, everyone knows it. Nat knows you have a bit of a thing for him, which is why you’re in this car. What she doesn’t know is that you and Bradley
got drunk at the last Hard Deck theme night and made out in the bathroom. You had his tongue in your mouth and your legs around his waist and his hand on your breast and you felt him through your thin shorts and. Well. What Nat doesn’t know is you remember all of it in excruciating detail, the sounds he made, the way he groaned your name, his hands on your skin, and Bradley, it seems, remembers none of it. He has not called you or brought it up since.
Is that bad? Not really. Maybe he doesn’t remember. You were both pretty drunk, though you distinctly remember him asking you Are you sure? as he hoisted you onto the bathroom counter. But whatever. Maybe he regrets it and is saving face because you’re all friends and it would make things awkward, especially before Nat’s big weekend. Maybe he doesn’t like you at all and he’s embarrassed. You’re not about to ask him and find out when you still have hours on the road together.
The Days Inn is a typical California motel — doors on the outside, mercifully covered by an overhang. Rooster parks as close to the reception office as he can. “I’ll go get rooms and then park wherever they are,” he tells you. “Stay here?”
“Not going anywhere.” Neither of you have raincoats so he just takes a deep breath and then shoves the door open and makes a run for it. You sigh.
God damn. He really was a good kisser. Sitting next to him for the last few hours hasn’t been awkward, not really, but you’ve had to stop yourself from staring. At his chorded forearms, the tan expanse of his neck. His hands, the memory of them pressing into your hips hard enough to bruise, his thumb rubbing your nipple through your shirt that night —
Fuck. He’s been nothing but nice to you, which somehow makes it worse. He ghosted you, maybe without knowing, and all you want to do is touch him. It’s driving you insane.
The car door opens and you jump a little, eyes flying open. You hadn’t realized you’d closed them.
“Sorry,” Bradley says. “Good news and bad news.” He turns in his seat so he’s facing you as much as he can. He shivers a little. He must be cold. “They have
a room,” he says slowly. “And it’s, uh, only one bed. A queen.”
“Oh,” you say. You can’t think of a single other word.
“Yeah,” he continues. He runs a hand through his wet hair. “She said that everyone is booked up because of the storm. I got the room, but I can tell her we don’t want it and we can keep driving if you want, find somewhere else around here. Or I can just sleep on the floor, obviously, but I don’t want you to —”
“It’s okay,” you interrupt. “Bradley, it’s fine. No big deal. We can share the room and the bed.” He blinks and you look anywhere but his face. “It isn’t safe to keep driving and we’re both tired and need something to eat.” The bed, though
you’re not sure what to think of your offer but it’s too late to take it back now.
He nods once, a sharp jerk of his chin. A drop of water runs down his nose. “Okay.” He drives around to the back of the hotel and parks in front of what you assume is your room. “Ready?”
You grab your bags from the back seat and throw open the door, hopping out and running the few feet until you’re under the overhang. Only a few seconds and you still feel like you’re soaked.
Bradley unlocks the door with an rusty key on a blue tag and gestures for you to go in. “There’s a local pizza place that’ll deliver in this,” he says, locking the door behind you. “At least the reception lady thinks so. I have their number and I can call them?”
You keep talking to each other in questions, like you’re both unsure of yourselves. It’s
strange. You put your stuff down on the — yep, one — bed and sit, toeing off your wet shoes.
“Whatever you want is fine.” You shiver. “I’m cold so I’m going to, uh, take a shower. Unless you want to?” A question again.
Bradley shakes his head. “No, you go. Get warm. I’ll go after.”
You grab the first comfortable and dry thing from your bag you can find and bring it into the bathroom with you. Fuck. How are you going to do this?
The shower does wonders to warm you up but you can hear Bradley’s voice through the wall, low and steady as he talks to the pizza place. Your hand drifts down your stomach, ghosts between your legs before you yank it away. No. Get it together. You’re friends.
Enough of that. You towel off and put on your clothes only to find that you
didn’t bring your shorts into the bathroom with you. You stare at your underwear and t-shirt hopelessly as if it’ll make them appear. “Are you fucking kidding me,” you say. You could use your hair towel and wear it like a skirt but your hair is wet and your t-shirt is white and the only other towel in here is for Bradley. “This cannot be real,” you tell your reflection.
Nothing to be done, it seems. You’re going to have to go out there in only a t-shirt that barely hangs past your ass.
So you do. Bradley clears his throat. You glance at him and he shifts in the chair he’s in at the tiny table. “Pizza should be here soon,” he says, gruffly. His eyes don’t seem to know where to land. “I’m going to shower.”
He’s up and through the door before you can say anything. “Okay, then,” you mutter. You dig in your bag for your sleep shorts and
can’t find any. Great. You’re going to share a bed with him in only a t-shirt.
Someone rings the doorbell and you abandon all pretense and take the towel from your head and wrap it around your waist. The peephole reveals it to be the pizza, so you open the door and a teenager hands it to you without a word and runs back to his car.
“Thanks!” you call. You set it on the table and hear the shower still running. “Pizza’s here!” you yell through the wall.
Bradley makes a noise that sounds like a curse. “Go ahead!” he shouts back.
“Fine,” you say to the empty room. “Don’t mind if I do.” You crack open the box and see that he’s gotten all the stuff you like. You have no idea how he knows that.
You’ve had two pieces by the time he comes out. It’s like a fucking porno the way the door opens and steam rushes out to reveal Bradley, shirtless and damp, a towel wrapped around his waist. The temperature of the room seems to shoot up exponentially.
You fist one hand in the towel you’ve draped across your lap and don’t even try to look away. “Forgot my clothes out here,” he mutters. You don’t say anything. You watch the muscles of his back flex, watch the water drip down his shoulder blades. You can see the v of his hips, the hair that disappears under the towel.
You wonder how big his dick is.
Good god. Cut it out.
He rifles through his own bag and you watch that, too. You swallow and press a palm to your cheek. God, you’re flustered. There’s no way you can sleep next to him like this. You have to face it head on.
“Bradley,” you say. Your voice is lower than you’d expected.
“Yeah?” He doesn’t turn around.
“Do you remember that night at the Hard Deck?”
He stills for just a second, so quick that you wouldn’t notice if you weren’t staring at him.
“Which one? We’re there a lot.”
Okay, that’s it. You stand, leaving the towel on the chair as you walk across the scratchy carpet to stand right behind him.
“C’mon,” you say, serious now. “You know that I’m talking about.”
He turns around and seems a little startled to see you so close. His eyes rake down your form and linger on your bare legs before snapping up to your face.
“Do you remember it?” he asks. His hands are fists at his sides.
You are getting frustrated. “Well, I’m asking, aren’t I? Why haven’t we talked about it?”
“You were drunk!” he says, exasperated. He runs his hands through his hair, biceps flexing in a way that makes you press your thighs together even tighter. “I took advantage of you!”
The laugh that comes out of you is like a bark. “You did not,” you say. “You didn’t, Bradley, I remember it all and I wanted it all.” It’s true. You were drunk, but if anything it gave you the courage to rub your ass against him on the dance floor, to take his hand and drag him to the bathrooms, to read his blown pupils for desire.
He looks stressed. “Nat said you were throwing up like, twenty minutes later!”
You wince. Yeah, that did happen, but that was on you. “That was an ill-timed shot and too many chicken wings,” you admit.
Bradley tips his head back and stares at the ceiling, sighing your name. You want to lick the vein in his neck.
You reach out and put your palm on his bare abdomen. His muscles contract and you feel it as well as see it. He might be the most beautiful man you’ve ever seen. “If you want to forget it, just tell me,” you say softly. “If it was a mistake or your embarrassed to have done it with me—”
His hand circles your wrist. “No,” he says firmly. “No.” Softer this time. “I don’t regret it. It wasn’t
I—” He takes a breath that you feel. “I just thought I fucked it all up.”
“Fucked what all up?” The air in the room is still hot but it’s like time has stopped. Like nothing apart from you two matters.
“My chance with you,” he says softly. Bradley looks at you, pupils blown but with such a raw expression it takes your breath away. This man is so much more than he appears.
“Oh,” you breathe. “No, I don’t think you did.” He couldn’t. You don’t know what it would feel like to not want him.
He releases your wrist and reaches for your face, his wide palms settling on your jaw. You close your eyes and wait for him to commit, wait for him to finish what he started, and he does. His lips are light on yours at first but once you press back it turns into something firmer. You wrap your arms around his neck and his hands move, one sliding under your shirt to grab your bare hip and the other winding in your hair.
The kiss turns messy, tongues and teeth until his lips trail down your neck. “I’ve wanted to kiss you since that night,” he pants, nipping and soothing with his tongue.
“I’ve wanted more than that,” you gasp. You grasp his biceps for dear life.
“Oh yeah?” His fingers brush the bottom of your breast. “If it’s a competition, I’m winning,” he rasps in your ear. “I had to jack off in the shower just now after you came out here in a t-shirt.”
You groan. You actually groan at his words. You slide one hand down his damp skin until you find the edge of the towel still around his waist. “Can I?”
“Yes,” he hisses. You tug on it and it gives, falling to the ground at your feet. You look down and find his cock already hard, ruddy and weeping, demanding your attention.
“See how badly I want you?” Bradley backs you up until your knees hit the bed and you sit down suddenly. And there he is, naked head to toe, chest flushed and heaving and all you’ve done is kiss. You get an eye full — he’s big, no surprise there — as he takes himself in hand and strokes, eyes fluttering shut. Your clench around nothing. He’s going to ruin you.
“Let me do that,” you say. Maybe he’ll let you suck him off. You can imagine his weight on your tongue, his hands in your hair as you gag around him.
“Won’t last long,” he pants. “Next time.”
Next time. That sounds nice. You scoot back on the bed, shoving your bag to the floor, and pull off your shirt. It goes flying somewhere that doesn’t matter. Bradley groans, stroking himself slowly as he watches you. “Look at you,” he says. “Better than I imagined.”
He goes back to his bag to dig through it a bit desperately and you stretch out on the bed. It he doesn’t touch you soon you might die. You spread your legs wide and look down to find a wet spot on your panties. Fuck. He’s hardly touched you and you’re soaked.
Your fingers work their way under the damp material and you run them through your folds and sigh with pleasure, eyes fluttering. “What did you imagine?” you ask.
“All sorts of things,” he says. “I’m very creative.” He makes a triumphant noise and holds up a condom. His eyes narrow when he sees what you’re doing on the bed. “Fuck. I —” He swallows. His cock twitches. “Do you want to?”
“Oh, I want you to fuck me, Bradley.” His nostrils flare. “Like, right now.”
“You’re going to be the death of me,” he mutters. He saunters over to the bed looking better than your best wet dream. “You have no idea how goddamn good you look right now. Can you take those off for me, sweetheart?”
The pet name coincides with the pads of your fingers brushing your clit and you moan. Right now, you’re pretty sure you will do anything he asks of you. You pull your panties off and toss them.
“Spread for me,” he says. You do and he puts his hands on the insides of your thighs and just looks. It makes you a little shy but you also feel
powerful. There is hunger in his gaze, raw want and desire. He licks his lips and strokes your skin. “Here’s my plan,” he says.
You throw an arm over your eyes. Always a man with a plan.
“I’m going to fuck you with my fingers first,” he says. His fingertips trail up your thigh and you squirm. One of them brushes your clit ever so slightly. “And then I’ll fuck you properly until you scream.” His thumb presses down on it. You keen, high and long. Bradley ignores it. “And then we’ll eat more pizza and then I’ll have desert.”
His hands disappear and you whine. “Do I get some, too?” Bradley laughs and despite the situation, the filthy, filthy things he’s saying, it sounds genuine. You pull your arm away to look at him. He tosses the condom on the bedside table.
“You get whatever you want, sweetheart.”
He kneels on the bed, crawls up your body and kisses you deeply. You feel him hot and hard against your stomach. “Does that sound good?”
You nod. “Get to it, Lieutenant.”
He groans like you’ve touched him. Bradley kisses you firmly, his mustache scratchy in the most delicious way as he licks into your mouth. One of his hands pays attention your nipples and the other slips down your stomach to your folds.
“God,” he says against your jaw. “You’re so wet.” He circles your clit a few times before pressing one finger inside you. You know right away it’s not enough. You fist one hand in the sheets and the other in his hair. “Prettiest cunt I’ve ever seen. All for me.”
“More,” you groan. “More, please.” You think he might tease you but he obeys right away, giving you another one as he starts to fuck you with them. You’re so wet that it’s making filthy noises as you writhe under his touch.
If you had more presence of mind you’d try to make it good for him, too, jerk him or at least pay him some kind of attention, but you’re barely hanging on. He ruts against your thigh as your pleasure builds.
You grab for him desperately, bringing his face as close as you can get it. “Fuck me,” you say. “Please, Bradley.”
Your plea seems to undo him. “Yeah?”
You nod frantically. He pulls away and you try to catch your breath as he tears open the condom and rolls it on. You keep your legs spread and he settles back between them, hands on your thighs as he looks at you again. “You’re so beautiful,” he says.
“That’s nice.” You arch your back. “Please fuck me now.”
He laughs again. His chest is flushed and damp, eyes bright and pupils blown. “Okay, sweetheart.”
He drags the head of his cock through your folds a few times before hitching one of your legs around his hip and pressing into you slowly, slowly, slowly.
“Talk to me,” he gasps.
He’s big, but you want him so badly that the stretch comes easy. It feels incredible. “Keep going, I—” It’s like you can feel every inch of him. Every vein, every ridge. You could lie here with his cock inside you forever. “God, how big are you?”
He laughs but it’s a rasp and a groan all in one. “Almost done, baby.”
“Baby,” you mock. You love it.
Bradley presses a kiss to the corner of your mouth. “Hush.”
Just when you’re starting to think that maybe you can’t take him, he bottoms out and you’re both panting.
He steadies himself over you and you hook your ankles behind his back and roll your hips.
“Fuck,” he hisses. “This might not go as long as I’d hoped.”
“Fine with me so long as you get going.” He presses his forehead to yours and starts to move, his hips going slow and then faster when you urge. His cock drags along your walls as he gets impossibly deep with every thrust. One of his huge hands presses into your side hard enough to bruise and you hold on for dear life.
The rain is probably still pounding outside but you don’t hear it over the smacking of his balls against your skin, the sound of your slick, your combined moans.
“God, you feel so good,” he pants, breath hot on your face. “Taking all of me, so tight—” He kisses you but it’s more like a desperate press of his mouth to yours.
“Bradley,” you manage. “Bradley I—” All words seem too far away, so you settle for chanting his name, your nails digging into his back.
“C’mon, baby,” he says. “So close, so close, yeah? Lemme feel you.”
One of his hands rubs roughly at your clit, the coil in your belly winding tighter and tighter and you can only get out one last gasp of his name before it snaps and you jerk in his hold, back arching and cunt spasming around him, clenching over and over.
“Fuck,” he hisses. “Fuck, just like that, oh shit —” And then he’s chanting your name in a punched out voice and his thrusts become erratic. You come down from your high just as he begins his, body stilling above you as he thrusts, once, twice, then shudders.
He pulls out of you and flops to your side. You’re both sweaty and panting.
Bradley’s hand reaches blindly until he finds yours and kisses the back of it.
“Can I take you out?” he says. “When we get back?”
He just fucked you within an inch of your life and he’s asking you on a date?
You laugh, exhausted and thrilled. “Sure, Bradley.”
