Ok I think it’s time I make a proper pinned post here; let’s get started!

Welcome to the official blog for:

Bonnie’s Day Out!!

What is Bonnie’s day out?

BDO!! Is essentially the remaster/reimagining of Lily Orchard’s original pokemon series and webcomic: “PokéMadhouse”

However with research and insight to the work I aim to not only retell the story but address/point out Lily as a “character”

What will you be sharing here?

Mostly the rendered pages and concept art/process work I’ve put into this world

But I will be answering any of your questions if you might have some at all!

How long can we expect this rewrite to take?

So far I’ve planned outwards of fifteen chapters but there’s still more that’ll be added

I have all the points and arcs mapped out but everything that leads us there is something you’ll have to stick around to see! ;3

Why put so much work into this?

It gives me a chance to practice comic making as well as story and concept practice

It’s also because I’m a long time fan of Pokémon but a lover of storytelling as a whole

Thank you guys so much for the support thus far! It means so much to have seen the reception from yall at this point! This has also been a way to try and give some closure to folks now learning more about Lily or getting away from her. Any criticism you may have can go a long way into the growth and improvement of this series and is appreciated!

So far this has been a one person project and golly I’ve been spent so far ^^’ I will be trying to get some help with future pages however but until then this’ll take some time!

And to Lily and her fans… this isn’t slander, this isn’t anything that is out of thin air or a hoax, because most of how Lily appears here has been the real deal who’s been presenting herself this way for over a decade now

If you want to call my version of Lily anything call it a caricature because that’s what it loosely is.

Yay part 2 of

Re-Madhouse — Marah

Marah is a current love interest of G, don’t know why lilligant and butterfree were dumped but ok I guess. I’ve done a post with my initial reaction to the age of marah compared the G’s age {HERE} so I won’t beat a fainted ponyta with it.

Her overall mannerisms from innocent obliviousness to childlike naivety, marah is pretty immature for a full grown gardevoir. So how did I rewrite and design her?

As mentioned with G’s redesign notes, I wanted to keep young, but not in a relationship with G. So I reworked her character that will be revealed more once she’s made her entrance and moved us along! So who would be the basis for the design?

Vivienne Westwood

With the vision in sight I went to work sketching and coloring! Until I got a design that felt just right to Marah’s character!

I knew for a fact that I wanted her design to counter balance G’s more elongated and thin silhouette, I also really wanted to give her lil fairy godmother wings that will flap whenever she’s giddy and excited! But I gave her a single horn that has some plot relevance 👀

And with that we have Bonnie’s Day Out!! Marah
