This piece has finally been given to it's giftee (the Osono to my Kiki) so I can officially post it! This is my fourth embroidery as an adult so I'm pretty happy with how it turned out! 😊

It was night two of weirdly high fever last night and I got jolted awake because I heard these really REALLY loud air raid sirens and my first thought was

'FUCK the USSR is bombing us.'

Not China, not North Korea, not even REGULAR Russian.

The Communist version of Russia that dissolved like 5 years before I was born? YOU KNOW? THE ONE THAT HASNT BEEN RELEVIENT SINCE 1991? THE ONE THAT HAS BEEN DISSOLVED FOR 32 YEARS? THAT USSR?

Regardless of suddenly being possessed by the hysterical ghost of a person from the Cold War, I was a bit panicked because we don't have air raid sirens around where we live, we DONT really NEED air raid sirens cause we're kind of a very rural area as a opposed to a large city area and thirdly, again, these were sirens going off from the 1960s for some reason.

I did eventually get up and found someone just left Forbidden Planet playing on the tv at max volume.

hi im currently dying because of my period so i just wanna know how the main 6 act when mc gets their period and specifically cramps cause id really like for someone to help me feel less awful right now, anyways thank you!

Aghhhn I know I said I was gonna wait to write more tomorrow, and I still haven’t wrote the upright ending one, but this one feels like and emergency, because honestly I know how you feel (my cramps were once so bad I passed out In class, so I know how you’re feeling 100% and if you ever want to talk or need anything my dms and asks are always open!) I hope this makes you feel better!

Main six when Mc gets their period

Exotic chocolate . That’s it that’s the headcanon. Also chocolate has stuff in it that’s supposed to leesen your cramps (I forget what but I know it’s in there) so he sticks up on a ton of it just for moments like these.

Will massage you whoever it hurts if you need him too, and he gives the best massages (next to Muriel) plus his hands can heat up from his ✨Magick✨ which makes it ten times better. Speaking of his hands heating up, he’ll warm up his hands and place it where it hurts, but if you don’t like being touched then He’ll heat up a rag instead (he also has the vesuvian equivalent of this)

Won’t let you leave the bed, faust watches over you just too be sure, he can run the shop, do the chores, cook clean, hell, he even starts to call himself you’re house wife, because he’s doing everything! But don’t worry, he says it nuzzling his head in your neck, pampering you with kisses, he doesn’t mind.

(Also you and Afab asra are synced up, and neither of you get shit done that whole week)

Nadia

Dude, she got the whole palace staff doating on you in a matter of minutes, you’re not going to have to lift a finger for the next week. She also makes sure you have all the goods, expensive wine, expensive chocolate, expensive comfy pajamas, what ever else you need.

If your cramps start to get too bad, she’ll call in a doctor (probably Julian) to check in on you, she’s had her fair share of bad cramps, she just wants to make sure there’s not any underlying problems, just in case.

She’ll run you as many warm baths as you need, taking her time washing you, massaging where it hurts, and feeding you chocolate, she just wants you to feel better, it hurts her seeing you like this. She’ll also hire a masseuse if you’d like one, and she keeps warm rags on where it hurts all day.

Julian

Now, mans is a doctor, he knows a thing or two, but uh,,,,,,,oh god are they supposed to be that painful? He’s the type of dude who doesn’t understand why dudes complain about having it worst when not only woman have birth which is extremely painful, but they also get their period once a month, which they can’t even control plus, it’s just as painful. That being said if will fight some one if they start saying shit like that, just saying.

If it’s bad bad, then he’ll stay home from work and look after you, just too make sure you’re okay, he can’t take a week off of work every month though, so choose carefully, but he will try to come home as early as he can. And he is the most doating out of the main six, so if you want it baby you got it,

He’s also the most down for period sex because orgasms help relevie stress and because, let’s be honest, he’s done worst. (Stolen from @lisa-frank-cave who’s written two(?) headcanons about periods, and a modern au one(which was really good)was posted very recently so it shouldn’t take long to find!)

Portia

Oof she’s been there, she’s already getting the ice cream, and is about to leave to pick up some soup from mazelinka which helps with the cramps, you’re not aloud to move until she gets back, and if you do there will be consequences.

Pepi is like the heating pad you didn’t know you needed, she’s perfect, she’s nice warm, soft, and she’ll just lay where ever you put her. Plus if you need to do something with your hands to keep your mind off the pain, you can just pet her, and tell her how cute she is. (You can also do the same thing with Portia)

Portia will also try to take your mind off of it, but pay telling you funny stories, or making out, or teaching you how too knit or sew, or giving you the strap, or braiding your hair,, ya know cute couple things. :)

Muriel

Muriel sure as hell isnt cluless, he knows what a period is, but he didn’t know they hurt this much,,, and it makes him sad,,, so when I tell you he’s going to do anything In his power to make you feel better, I mean it baby, he’s got you covered.

He’s warm like all the time, he just runs hot, (which makes sense because he is hot) so he’ll just place his hands where your cramps are and hold you, or even give you a little massage if you need one, and covers you in furs, anything to make you feel better.

He👏will👏sing👏too👏you👏 is it good? I mean it’s not too bad, but it’s cute because he’s trying! He sings in like a super soft voice and runs his free hand through you hair while his other arm is wrapped around your waist and his hand is resting where it hurts while you drink magick tea that’s supposed to make your cramps get better and it’s just 😤😤😤 so perfect.

Lucio

Like Muriel, he’s not clueless, nor is grossed out, he’s not ashamed of it at all actually, and if you bleed through his sheets he does everything in his power to make you smile again and tries to reassure you that their just sheets and they can be replaced, but you can’t

He has doctors and servants doating on you 24/7, and promises you he’s hurting too. A wise man once said “its uterUS babe” and lucio lives by that rule. He also lives by the rule of “ if babes on her period, then I’m on my period.” Like the whole palace hates him when your on your period because he’s more obnoxious than usual!

He’ll drown you in cool gadgets that are supposed to make you feel better, and press pressure into where the pain is, all while holding a warm rag to the spot to make you feel better, and safe. He’ll also give you lots of kisses to make you feel better, sure it doesn’t help, but don’t tell lucio that.

Ahhhh, I tried to write this as fast as I can, so I could get it too you as quick as possible because dude I know your hurting and I’m so sorry. I hope this makes you feel better. Also again: @lisa-frank-cave has some really good period content on their page (we’ll content in general but you might like their period content in this hard time) I hope you feel better soon! ♡ part 1. by any other name 

we meet violet and carter, two supersoldiers trained to be killers. it goes something like this:

the fallen. carter is the child of six, the new leader of the mysterious organization known as the Ranch, come into power after making a deal with the devil. they are destined to be married off to six’s hated enemy as punishment for failing sabotaging a mission a year earlier wherein they stopped a hospital fire they and their partner set for the owners to collect insurance money. 

they resign themselves to being agony’s captive until…they meet ray, a struggling young actor playing ophelia in Bellam City University’s Hamlet (funded by agony, who unfortunately loves the arts, theater especially). the teens manage to strike up a friendship despite agony’s stranglehold casting a shadow over their lives. 

the unwillingly crowned. violet is the new favorite alongside sage, her terrifying, enigmatic teammate whose allegiance is unclear. six reveals to the girls that he is going to rid himself of the rest of the assassins and establish them as his personal bodyguards and hitmen. violet is understandably horrified. she convinces sage to help her rescue the others before it’s too late. unfortunately their plan is discovered and they are locked up while a fire is set to the Ranch. 

♡ part 2.

violet and carter are rescued from the fire set to the facility by their enigmatic/terrifying teammate sage, dropped off in Salvation, and left there. they eventually are adopted by a wealthy gothic family (the roses) who live in a haunted house at the edge of town after violet tries to steal from them. they recognize that they need help, so they convince violet and carter to stay with them until they’re settled.  they meet a couple of other kids named tiffany and nina whose parents are friends with the roses. tiffany is a psychic who investigates haunted places, looking for her parents’ spirits after they died in a car crash a few years earlier. nina is a closeted lesbian in a toxic, abusive relationship with a rich guy named kyle whose family is unofficially linked with a bunch of murders in town. (everyone is terrified of them because they pay off law enforcement to cover their crimes, and no one retaliates because they’re afraid they or their friends and family could be next.)

violet and carter are in this strange stage where they’re kind of dating, but also not really. so when they’re introduced to this guy named jason whose parents are also friends of the rose family, there’s a lot of tension because carter really likes jason, violet kind of likes jason, but still it’s kind of awkward.  

eventually carter and nina start following tiffany on her investigations, at first out of concern for her safety, then because they genuinely like looking for paranormal shit. they’re sort of like the scooby gang of salvation. except worse off. they’re also considered kind of the oddballs in town? so this weird intersection of interests combined with social ostracism brings them together and they become friends. violet is sad/jealous she can’t share this with them because she’s terrified of the paranormal and stays home like a sane person.

♡ part 3. untitled

this causes an even greater rift to form between violet and carter. at this point jason proposes to carter and violet and carter have this huge fight that causes them to break up. carter, unsure of the engagement to begin with, breaks up with jason and leaves salvation, only to end up in a town called Red Dog that has a big problem with crime. they end up working at this truckstop/roadhouse for a guy they blackmail into giving them a free room in the hotel. the manager’s like, “nice.” they also meet this girl named bella who seems incredibly familiar and looks almost exactly like them. they wonder if maybe this is the sister they lost all those years ago, but they don’t know for certain. it could just be wishful thinking on their part. 

meanwhile violet’s feeling overall pretty crappy over everything. but then she meets matteo, a guy passing through salvation on the search for his missing family members. violet is smitten. matteo is equally smitten. nina is conflicted because she likes violet, but doesn’t know how to tell her. her relationship with kyle is also getting worse. tiffany is becoming more reckless, which worries both violet and nina.

♡ part 4. critical hit.

a few years later a bunch of spoilery stuff happens involving kyle’s family and carter’s ex, he dies

♡ part 5. dust’s infernal fire.

they find out kyle’s family’s old house is haunted because of all the people murdered/buried on the grounds. the ghosts hurt/scare nina to drive her out of the house so they can get revenge on kyle’s family. nina leaves kyle to go live with her parents and to pick up the pieces of her life.

♡ part 6. a history of sorrow.

eventually she starts dating violet and tiffany and things get a lot better for her.

♡ part 7.  cold comfort and old bones.

eric proposes to carter. things don’t really go as planned.

1. What’s your favorite trope to read but not to write? Or vice versa, to write but not read?

There’s only one bed, or fake-dating. I love those but I don’t enjoy writing the former and have never wrote the latter.

2. Some of your favorite aesthetics?

Cottagecore, Fairy tale, Fae, and Folk/celtic aes.

3. Ideal writing environment? (Time, place, sound, drink/snacks)

A little room in a cottage in the middle of nowhere, a big wooden desk by a large window that looks out to the rolling fields of the countryside. a chilled milkshake with extra ice cream. bookcases/shelves filled with herbs and knickknacks, and celtic folk songs surrounding me.

4. What’s your favorite side character in your WIP?

The Captain, she just such a mad lad. I love her and her chaos.

5. How would your OCs interact with your favorite characters from other works?

When I finally started Supernatural a few years ago all I could think was how much Dean and Sam, and Mizona would hate each other. So they’d probably try to kill each other.

6. An embarrassing fact about your OC that they would never tell anyone?

Mizonas aunt lived in a giant swede, Technically it is mentioned, but to her little sister so I’d say it still counts. 

7. What book do you think should be made into a movie?

Either The Raven Cycle or All For The Game

8. What’s the last mean thing you did to your OCs?

Made a building fall on them.

The Fallen Shadows: Senior citizen can’t find the book they’re looking for, decides to go in an egg hoping maybe they’ll have better luck afterwards. Other egg mates join in the search for the book, 500-year-old senior citizen feels she should be given privileges and may blow up people if she feels inconvenienced.

A book that a certain friend is always telling you to read: i have no friends irl who read :/ lmao my best friend back when she did pick up a book every three months told me to read The Book of Lost Things by John Connolly... it’s been years. it’s the only thing she’s ever recommended to me lol

A book that’s been on your TBR forever and yet you still haven’t picked it up: The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller! this book has gone with me to the Philippines and back, and i still have yet to actually pick it up. shame!

A book in a series you’ve started, but haven’t finished yet: a lot. The Lair of Dreams by Libba Bray is the one i’m really TRYING to get to but it’s a pain in the ass to lug around that giant book. i also borrowed the audiobook like 7 times at this point and not once listened to it lmao :(

What's happened in my life since I was active on here? Glad you asked!

Left Wattpad completely and deleted everything on that platform.

I had another baby after 2+ years of trying, a miscarriage, and adjusting my lifestyle to undiagnosed PCOS.

Quit nannying to freelance as a Game Narrative Designer and Ghostwriter on top of my beta/sensitivity reading and have gotten to work on some really cool stuff. Including a project I'm going to be flying out to California for in two weeks.

Started working on self publishing The Witchlit Project, and a kids tarot book.

Wrote the first draft of Familiars, and started two other manuscripts (Red Hand of the Martyr, and Code Simulacrum).

Nearly finished season 2 of Tales From The Ridge.

Got really good at baking.

Got back on Adderall (yay!)

Started DMing a Western Fantasy tabletop rpg where 99% of the players chose to be rat folk.

Played so much Baulder's Gate 3.

Started being intentional about my IRL community and friendships.

Went viral on TikTok for a "Hear Me Out" Cake.

Started planning [redacted] with @kaylapocalypse that will hopefully put me on the track to having an agent and a trad published book by summer 2026!

What's something you really love about where you live? :)

Something I really love about New Zealand is that there are no snakes, or really poisonous animals, or big predator animals so you can go and muck about in the forest without worrying about running into a bear or stepping on a snake. 

What I like about the suburb I live in is that it’s pretty quiet but close enough to the city that I can save a ton of money on rent by living at home and commuting into university. The city is really nice as well, it’s got a lovely waterfront, a lot of great coffee shops, and people are generally pretty friendly. It’s also super easy to walk around. 

If we’re getting really specific about my house, I love that it no longer has mold growing on the walls and we have underfloor heating. I like my room because it has all my books in it and it’s a great place to read.

1) If your OCs could teach a subject in university, what subjects would they teach and why?

Edisius feels like a Language Arts sort of a professor... Amadea is probably something boring like Economics but she’s like.. always late and always slightly tipsy. Dove, I feel would be teaching Law or Psychology, and Falcon would be History, but like, way specific, like the History of Warfare of something like that. Kenny isn’t a teaching type and I feel like Lydia is far more likely to be skipping class than teaching class. 2) What are some of the current obsessions that your OCs have? What are some of your current obsessions?

Kenny is super into dyed hair, Lydia likes seeing how far she can push her magical abilities, Edisius is a collector (of books, rocks, etc), and Amadea has a lipstick obsession. Dove is kind of obsessed with taking her father’s throne, and Falcon... Falcon just does whatever Dove does, really.

As for me.. I don’t think I have any obsessions, currently. Maybe I have an obsession with having an obsession.  3) Which company would your OCs prefer to work in: a growing company full of young creative individuals who can be frequently seen playing table tennis / darts around the office OR a smaller company with older workers who make sure to cook once a week in the company kitchen? 

I feel Kenny and Falcon would go for the small company, whilst Lydia, Amadea, and Dove would fit right in with the growing company. Edisius would choose neither, he’s more of a start-you-own company sort of guy.

4) What is your OCs favourite holiday to celebrate? (if they are not from our world, feel free to choose / make up a holiday from their own setting)

Probably the Spring Festival? Everyone loves spring, everyone loves festivals. Win-win! Gaeran spring festivals are really pretty, all green and flowery and stuff, but for Kenny especially, the real winer is the Spring Festival back home (red packets! Home cooking! Yay!) 5) If you could fight for one book to not get published, what book would it be? Hate to be a downer, but without a doubt it would be To Train Up a Child by Michael and Debi Pearl. Horrible “parenting” book. Hurt a lot of people. Near destroyed some families. 0/10, do not recommend.  6) What is your greatest motivation for writing? I just have this unexplainable feeling—a belief, I guess—that writing and publishing my stories will be The Answer to everything. I don’t know how to put it into words, it’s just something I believe for no apparent reason. 7) If you could interview a celebrity, who would it be?

Hands down, Tom Hiddleston. I don’t believe in celebrity worship, but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t want to meet him at least once in my lifetime!

8) If your OCs could interview someone in your story, who would it be?

Pretty sure I’m interpreting this question wrong, but I’ll roll with it anyway.

Since a lot of my WIPs subtly not-so-subtly take place in the same universe, this is actually very possible! Obviously, Lauren Ye from Of Dragons and Princes would want to interview Kenny. (They’re sisters! Lauren’s the older one.) 10) What affects you most when you’re writing?

Motivation, or lack thereof? I haven’t had much energy or motivation to write the past few months, but thankfully I think I’m finally starting to get back into it again.

11) What are you most excited about in your life?

University! I try not to set myself up for disappointment, but I’m really, really hoping that when I finally get to go to university I’ll finally get to meet people my age who share my interests, and we can all get along and be friends. Here’s to hoping, anyway!

It wasn’t until I started living alone that I wore matching socks.  Before then I never bothered to fold my socks so I always ended up wearing mismatched (neon) socks. 

My first real job was being a waitress at a cafe in a softball complex.  As it turns out, drunk softball players are genuinely one of my favorite groups of people.

All through elementary school I wanted to be a math major.  I loved algebra.  Thankfully I got over that before taking calculus, because, wow, I deeply hate calc. 

I’m actually a high school dropout.

I love chocolate zucchini bread.  That shit’s good.

My favorite class I’ve ever taken was a Molecular Medicine course.  It touched on nearly every subject I’m interested in (pharmaceutical law, drug development pipeline, R&D, medical history, all with a capstone project on FTD/MND) and I swear if the rest of my classes were half as interesting and useful as that then I wouldn’t even be mad about my student loans. Alas.

My real goal in life is for my best friend to magically become Batman so I can be her Alfred Pennyworth and simultaneously her sugar baby. 😂

I have a small tattoo of Navi (the fairy from Legend of Zelda... yeah) on my left foot.  I have two more tattoos planned (a small rose on my left ribs and then a heart depicting ocean waves inside on my left thigh) but I’m not in any real rush to get them.

I have a horrifying fascination with diseases and I’ve been known to scare people in public by talking about them.  My favorites are Marburg virus and necrotizing fasciitis! 

Dark chocolate and semi-sweet chocolate are easily the best.  White chocolate is kinda gross (way too sweet imo).
