נדמה שבכל פעם שאני/ישראלי. אחר.ת מנסה לדבר על הזוועות של השבת השחורה או המלחמה או כל דרך אחרת שבה ישראלים נפגעו מפלסטינים, נדמה שהתגובה האחת והיחידה של פרו-חמאסיסטיים היא "אבל ישראל עשתה ככה וככה, את מצדיקה את זה????"

וזה פשוט... הווטאבאוטיזם הבוטה הזה, חוסר היכולת המוחלטת של כל כך הרבה אנשים לגנות או אפילו להכיר בזוועות שהחמאס ושות' ביצעו ומבצעים, ועוד לנסות להציג את זה כאילו הם מנהלים דיון מאוזן/הוגן? לי אין שום בעיה לגנות את הסבל העצום והמזוויע שאזרחים פלסטינים סבלו וסובלים תחת ממשלות ישראל, אין לי שום בעיה לומר שלפלסטינים מגיע לחיות בשלום ושגשוג בדיוק כמו שלי מגיע כישראלית. אבל כל מצדיקי הטרור האלה לא מסוגלים לעשות את אותו הדבר כלפי העם הישראלי. (כי הרי כל מיליוני הישראלים, באשר הם, הם כולם מפלצות מקורננות ששותות דם ילדים נוצרים פלסטינים לארוחת בוקר).

איך אתם מסוגלים בכלל להעמיד פנים שאתם לוחמים עבור זכויות אדם בסיסיות, כשאין לכם בעיה להצדיק בפה מלא זוועות - פשעים נגד האנושות - שמבוצעים נגד בני אדם שלא נולדו תחת המותג המועדף עליכם?

אני לא אומרת את זה מתוך תמימות, זה לא שחשבתי שכל בני האדם הם כולם שיה תמימה וטהורה. זה פשוט כעס, ותסכול, וחוסר אונים מול הצביעות המבחילה הזאת, מול השמחה לאיד, הדהומניזציה הכוללנית, הסטנדרט הכפול, העיוורון מרצון. של אנשים שחשבתי שחולקים איתי את אותו קונספט בסיסי של ערך חיי אדם בכללותם.

אם זאת הייתה תופעה שולית - ניחא. אבל זה לא.

Louis Tomlinson has received yet another award for his glowing trophy cupboard.

The hitmaker, 32, has made a name for himself since releasing his debut solo album Walls, in 2020. In the years following the record hitting Number 4 on the Official UK Charts and being certified Silver, Tomlinson has gone on to tour the globe and bagged two Top Ten singles.

But it appears his solo career is receiving industry recognition with the Doncaster, South Yorks, star bagging Artist of the Year, having gone up against fellow South Yorkshire-born singer, Self Esteem and Newcastle's Sam Fender. The star was awarded the gong at the Northern Music Awards, appearing via videolink to celebrate his award.

Sitting in a hotel room, the singer said: "Hi, I'm Louis Tomlinson and I'm really sorry I can't be with you tonight at the Nordoff and Robbins Northern Music Awards, I'm currently on tour. But I just want to say, it means the world to win Artist of the Year. Thank you, thank you and thanks for doing such an incredible thing for charity."

Although Tomlinson burst onto the scene singing pop songs, in recent years, he has branched out into punk rock, indie pop, soft rock and EDM, proving to be one of the most versatile artists in the industry. The musician is currently preparing for the final shows of his Faith In The Future World Tour which he kicked off on May 26, 2023, with his final show being on September 8, 2024, as part of Superbloom Festival.

like, i will be reading a local news website and a headline or a particular phrasing about a subject kind of catches me off guard, and i'll be like "huh that's weird why would they talk about it like that?" so i look through the article and i scroll to the bottom and wow!! look at that!! literally reposted from Associated Press or The Washington Post or some shit

and there's no warning before you start the article, it's always at the bottom

so there's this weird cognitive dissonance dance where i'm reading something, assuming it to be local news, or at least a local spin on international news, and nope!! it's fucking USAmerican from a USAmerican perspective following USAmerican writing styles and i have to like... mentally go back through the article and reassess it because it's from an entirely different angle than i thought it was
