hmm, so no Talon stuff, that excludes Baptiste and Mauga. Is there anything on Junkers, Vishkar, Lucio, Meka, Tracer, Sojourn, Kiriko, Zenyatta, Ramattra, Illari, Lindholm family, Shimada clan, or Horizon?
There isn't any mention of Baptiste and Mauga, but there is mention of the groups they were a part of before they joined. Though it is only brief mentions.
As for the other;
The Junkers have lot of lore mentioned however it is looped in with Australian lore in general. Sojourn and Angela actively fought against some Junkers while they were in Australia, they were there because after the Omnium exploded a heath crisis happened. Rates of Cancer rose, Sojourn and Angela were sent to help take care of the situation. Which they did successfully. The book also details that the reason why so many people in Australia were against giving the Omnium and surrounding land to the Omnics was because of some of the land belonging to general residents and indigenous Australians. That and he usual Australian racism. The reason why Overwatch didn't intervene with the attack on the omnium was because when they heard about the situation and got a strike team the omnium already exploded.
Vishkar is mentioned throughout the book and has several sections dedicated to it, it detail the genuine good nature of the founder and creator of hardlight and how he wanted to make the world a better place. He died in a car crash and Vishkar quickly became what we know of it today. We also know from these mentions of Vishkar that the Academy's for Architects are child labor and that post Crisis child labor was easy to get away with, the other most common child labor were Megafarms in the US.
Though Null Sector is mentioned, Ramattra isn't and there isn't really any information about the organisation itself that is anything we haven't heard before.
Lucio and Orisa are talked about by the end of the book and it details Lucio's stand against Vishkar and how he and Orisa chased Doomfist out of Numbani. Again not really anything we haven't been told.
The Lindholm family is mentioned a few times and in fact, Ingrid get's her own small section dedicated to her. Making her the spouse character we know the most about, Sam coming up close behind.
For Meka the creation and what lead up to it is very detailed in the book, again there isn't much of what we haven't heard before, but they do deatil the inital confusion on what the Gwishi was. It also details that the choice of getting gamers to piolet mechs wasn't a random decision as the suvivors of the first few Gwishi attacks all shared one thing in common, they all gamed as a hobby.
Despite popular belife, the Shimada clan was actually smaller then a lot of other gangs and the only reason they got on Overwatch's radar is because either Hanzo himself or the clan elders decided to try and grow into an international gang through blackmailing several high profile businesses. It also stated that the area they ruled over was the Kanezaka reigon, which mean Hanamura is a part of the Kanezaka region and not the other why around.
Again with many of the others, Horizon didn't have any information we didn't already know. Though that's mostly because out boy Winston is traumatized and doesn't really talk about it.
Tracer has her own page dedicated to her and is mentioned frequently in the golden age and fall of Overwatch sections. Sojounr is a big player and is mentioned frequantly throughout the book.
Zenyatta, Kiriko and Illari are not mentioned.

OOC
Thank you! I am by no means an expert on Australia, but I try. I try to include what prices of Australian culture that I know about, but a lot of the reason me and my sister picked Australia for the region is our love of its wildlife.

I live in Australia so I dont have the options you Americans do. We get the CW shows including supergirl when it was apart of a different network on one channel.
So just remember that the entire world isnt just America..because here in Aus where we dont get access to BL on TV because apps are reigon locked. I imagine this to be true for most of the rest of the world too
The fact that Black Lightning isn’t nearly as popular as the rest of the CW’s DC shows despite being 3x better is proof y’all don’t care about rep when it’s not white. Literally a bullet proof lesbian as a main lead but you don’t care bc she’s black and an activist. If you are bitching about lack of rep in on CW and then sleep on BL you need to sit the fuck down and shut up.

Lethbridge-Stewart: Series Five titles announced
Latest from the news site: Candy Jar Books have announced the titles for its fifth series of Lethbridge-Stewart novels: Range Editor Andy Frankham-Allen introduces the fifth series of books: It’s quite an exciting series, with three very distinctively different stories. Each explores very different aspects of the Lethbridge-Stewart universe. A New-Age thriller taking the team to Australia, a ghost story set in and around a haunted manor, and an all-out adventure which pits very branches of Lethbridge-Stewart’s family against each other. This series of books sees our lead characters, in particular Lethbridge-Stewart and Anne Travers, dealing with the fallout from the losses they suffered in series four. The series ends on something of a cliffhanger, which will have repercussions for the series as a whole for a long time.” Series Five opens with The New Unusual by first-time novelist, Adrian Sherlock, who wrote the short story, The Playing Dead, in 2016. This tale sees our heroes being drawn to Australia after investigating strange goings-on at dream-ins, mysterious new age gatherings in which people explore their deepest desires through eggs of alien origin. This book features the return of Lethbridge-Stewart’s nephew, Owain. A Very Private Haunting by Sharon Bidwell, who is no stranger to wrting novels, with quite a CV behind her, including the Lethbridge-Stewart short story, The Wishing Bazaar in 2016. This books sees Arthur Penrose finally take ownership of a Scottish manor house that’s been in his family for generations. There are many secrets in the house, but what connects them to the mysterious shadow creatrues that Lethbridge-Stewart and his men are investigating? The series is wrapped off with The Man from Yesterday, by popular novelist Nick Walters, who returns with his much-anticipated second novel in the Lethbridge-Stewart series, following 2015’s Mutually Assured Domination. Here, Lethbridge-Stewart learns the truth behind his father’s disappearance at the end of World War II, when aliens arrive on Earth from a mysterious reigon of space known only as the Realm. This book features the return of Lethbridge-Stewart’s brother from another reality, James Gore, and his father, Air Commander Gordon Lethbridge-Stewart! Head of Publishing Shaun Russell says: Series Five is the last in the ongoing series for a while, as next year we’re stepping out of the usual narrative to present a special series of novels celebrating fifty years of Alistair Lethbridge-Stewart and Anne Travers. The New Unusual, A Very Private Haunting and The Man from Yesterday are all available for individual pre-order, or as a discounted bundle. They are also available as part of the yearly subscription offer. Full details from the Candy Jar website. --- Candy Jar Books will be at the Cardiff ComicCon this Saturday and Sunday if people want to visit say 'hello'!
