Imagine dating Dabi and he’s sick in bed with a flu and you’ve been watching over him while he sleeps it off.

He starts mumbling in his sleep, “so hot… won’t stop… burning.” and you feel his forehead, it’s even hotter than usual.

You start dabbing an icy, cold rag on his face. The coldness wakes him up and in between that moment of asleep and awake he whispers, “Mom?”

Headcanon that when Fuyumi manifested her Quirk, she accidentally froze the kitchen floor in knee-deep ice and Rei right along with it.

Endeavor: ...can you get Touya to do it?

Rei: He's two. And he's a little upset about the floor situation because, and I quote, 'his legs don't work' because, 'the floor broke.' It took him forty-five minutes to Bambi-scramble across the ice in order to bring me my phone so I could call you.

Endeavor: All right, I'll be home in twenty. Stay put.

Rei: Duh. .... I can hear you laughing, Enji, and for the record, this had better not be an office story tomorrow.

Just thinking about Yandere Todoroki clan and reader's random moments.

Reader coming home after a particularly bad day, but poor girl cant even cry or complain without everyone immediately overreacting and pulling you out of school/college or even keeping you from going out at all. So now, reader has to either cry in self pity before she enters her home, wipe her tears and fix herself just enough to show that she hadnt just bawled her eyes out moments ago. That, or do the more risky thing and go home, go to your room and cry under the covers, but then theres always the chance of Rei or the others walking in on you any moment.

Also thinking about baby/toddler reader being sick, just a common cold or flu, nothing major. But with reader whining and being so young, the family's infantalisation goes through the roof and theyd treat you as if you were immunocompromised. I wont lie, but I think Rei is almost kinda... glad when you get sick? She enjoys you being dependant on her for the most things, even when you grow up and are able to handle a cold, she still deludes herself into thinking that you need mommy to come and help you.

I think the one person who is most affected by reader getting sick, no matter what age, is Enji. The man just cant help but view you as a fragile, starving Victorian child the moment you fall ill. In his eyes, even a harsh blow of air is too much for a fragile thing like you, let alone something as bad as the flu. He just- he's holding toddler reader in his arms, who snuggles into his warm body, your tiny nose pink and he cant get the image of you crying and vomiting and being oh so feverish- thats just way too much for your small body. Oh how he almost cried when he took you to the doctor for a shot and you clung to him, trying to bury yourself into him as you begged him to make you feel better, cried to him that you didnt want to get the "big scary needle!" He just had to hold you there in his firm grip as you writhed, had to look away when you looked at him and he saw the feeling of betrayal in your eyes, had to keep himself from not strangling the fucking doctor for not being careful, had to walk out of the clinic and hand you to Rei because he couldnt hear you cry anymore, had to have Rei console both you and Enji (assuring him that "no, Enji. Y/n doesnt resent you for making her get a shot.") and he couldnt even sleep a wink that night because he was standing by your bed, holding your tiny hand with his pinky as a tear finally slipped out of his eye.

ALSO thinking about adult reader going out of the house to meet up with friends, except shes meeting up with them at a club instead of at their house like she told Enji and Rei, and now shes standing outside, abandoned by said friends, and shes now running because a group of pervy men are chasing her and she doesnt know who to call, so she just speed dials Shotou, except someone just changed all your speed dials to one number, and you think youre doomed when Shotou doesnt say a word to you and just hangs up when within minutes, someone comes in front of you-

"Dabi?" He tells you to cover your ears and look away, and you know well by know what that means, so you obey, feeling a bit regretful as those men begin to scream in agony. You dont know how long its been until Dabi pulls your hands away and examines your wounds. He lets you crash into his chest as you sob, and this time, Dabi simply decides to take you home quietly without a lecture.

Hmmm, also thinking about Natsuo who is usually cool as a cucumber, the most normal being in the family, except for his very rare episodes of unbridled rage where he suddenly becomes the Hulk. Good thing for you is that this anger is never directed towards you, rather towards people who actively threaten your life (except Rei cause she gets to play "Im your mom who became mentally unstable because of your abusive dad") The only time NAtsuo is stern with you is when it comes to your health. He's just looking at you with those strict eyes when you refuse to take your multivitamins, or dont want to get a flu shot, or try to make up an excuse so that he cant check your vitals. And when he just grabs your wrist and pulls you to sit down so that he can do his checkup, its in those moments that you realise just how strong your brother is... and how easy it may be for him to overpower you and sedate you if he ever followed through Rei's threats.

shoto and you had been dating for quite a while now, yet your relationship was a bit of an open secret. he didn't mind mentioning you to his friends and wasn't shy to tell them he was in a relationship with you, but his family hadn't heard a single word about you yet. they didn't even know you were a friend of shoto's, until you came home with him for dinner one weekend. 

shoto didn't introduce you when he arrived at his house, purposefully refraining from putting a label on his relationship with you. he waited until everyone sat at the dinner table – natsu, fuyumi, enji and shoto and you – until he started to shift towards the topic you two had came here for today. 

"so, y/n and i wanted to tell you all something…"

everyone's eyes were on shoto, hoping that what came next would be good news. god knows this family didn't need any more drama. 

"we've been dating for a while now… i just didn't want to tell you all right away, but i'm ready now…"

shoto was being blunt as ever, holding nothing back. there was a quiet moment in which natsu and fuyumi exchanged glances, before fuyumi was the first one to speak up. 

"i'm really happy for you, shoto. you deserve to be with someone nice and y/n has made a great impression so far! right, dad?"

fuyumi glared at her father, just wanting him to be nice for once and agree with them. enji was still chewing on his food slowly, glaring at you and shoto. it felt like forever until he swallowed and spoke up. 

"right… though you could've mentioned something earlier, shoto! well, as long as a relationship won't distract you from your school work, then i suppose i don't mind…"

that must've been the nicest thing shoto had heard in a while from his father. he was quite glad he was holding back on you. or maybe he just hadn't found anything to criticize yet. 

"are you going to tell mom about it too?"

natsu asked and shifting the topic a little. 

"i plan to. i've already sent her a letter, but whenever they'll let me visit her, i'll bring y/n along!" 

shoto hadn't been very excited about telling his father about your relationship, but he wanted his mother to get to know you! he just had to wait for a chance to get to meet her again…

my extremely petty and self-indulgent headcanon is that Dabi had started regularly visiting Rei after he joined the League of Villains.

the basis? he lived with a guy who had the best teleportation quirk in the mha universe. and one thing about that guy? he was the dad of the group. sorry not sorry but Mr Daddy Issues was doomed to imprint on him.

more basis? the first thing Touya thought about when he woke up after almost burning to death and spending 3 years in a coma with no idea how he survived or even where he is? 'i need to apologize to mom'. he would be taking that chance if he had it at all.

what about Rei? there's really no reason for her to be faithful to the system the way she for some reason is in the latter part of the manga. some facts from her biography include: being sold by her own family to the man who would offer to buy her, with no possibility to object, becoming an incubator for said man even when she plainly stated she didn't want to have more kids, being abused so badly she was slowly driven into psychosis while being the primary caretaker of 4 children, being aware of her slipping mental state, begging her mother to help her on the phone and being denied that help. then she spent 10 years in a mental hospital and the only people who visited her were her children. this woman's entire life was ruined by the system and by a hero number two personally. the only reason she had started recovering at all and didn't lose her sanity completely was her children, who became her new reason to live and work harder on her recovery. until Shouto came to visit her, 10 years after they were separated by Enji, only Fuyumi and Natsuo were visiting her. and neither of these two was in a good place mentally, both having to raise themselves after their nanny had left and Enji didn't hire anyone else to take care of his teenage children. that, coupled with her guilt over hurting Shouto and mourning Touya's death when he died so young and neither she nor Enji did anything to save her, is an very heavy burden to bear.

with that basis, I truly think Rei not caring about her son being a villain would have been fully in character, had he sought her out before the war. she would have jumped on the first chance to have her eldest son back in her life, and she would have supported him just the same as she supported Shouto. she cares about her children's well-being first and foremost and her life experience allows her to be aware that public approval does not necessarily mean a good thing. she knows her children and she encourages them while being respectful of their boundaries. she never told anything to Natsuo about him moving out and leaving Fuyumi alone with Enji in the family house. she was never showed scornful or disapproving of Touya's training despite the fact Enji literally beat her for it, because she recognized how important that was to Touya. when she started a conversation with him on that topic, she asked 'do you even want to be a hero?'. little Shouto hated the thought of becoming a hero because he hated his father, but Rei still encouraged him, because she saw his admiration of Allmight.

so, if Dabi showed up in her hospital room and announced himself as a villain, I don't think this would make Rei any less motivated to reconnect with her long-lost son. she would want to know everything about his life in the past 10 years, and she wouldn't judge him for any of it. just like with Shouto, she would meet his apology with one of her own, because she felt genuinely guilty and responsible for the way he suffered throughout his childhood, and she would make amends by giving him as much of her attention and support as he would allow her.

also I just adore the image of the three Todoroki siblings coming to visit her unannounced and Dabi hastily hiding under Rei's bed. the funniest family reunion possible.

Postwar Todofam makes me feel sick. All of them having marks of Touya on them (burns). And It kills me that we never really get to see them together. More talk under the cut, though it's a lot of headcanons and my own thoughts.

Postwar Touya definitely gets a pretty horrible deal. He loses his arm, and I’d imagine he’d lose legs too and an eye. His lungs are messed up, so for a while he’s on oxygen, both in the tube and out of it. He does get out of the tube and into a normal hospital set up (though under heavy restrictions). It takes a WHILE for him to be able to sit up on his own, to be in more extensive physical therapy, and get fitted for prosthetics due to all the damage and scarring that had to be healed. His hair gets buzzed but eventually he does grow it out, growing it out longer than he’s let it before and it’s fluffier now that the damaged hair is gone.

Reconnecting with his family is rough, they’re hurt and upset but it’s easiest for him to start growing close to Shouto and Fuyumi. Rei and Natsuo are a bit more difficult. Though Rei is more because she feels guilty for her inaction regarding her children. Natuso is more because yknow, Touya DID try getting him killed. So he’s understandably upset and pissed off.

Once Touya is allowed out of the hospital, it’s decided he shouldn’t be kept in a prison due to his injuries and circumstances since he’d require regular visits to a doctor. It’s easier if he’s kept on house arrest. Plus Endeavor uses the little sway he has left to get special treatment for him but that doesn’t matter. So he’s under house arrest, wearing an ankle monitor though it’s on his wrist instead for obvious reasons. He gets glasses too since his vision isn’t exactly great with only one working eye.

He stays with Rei, eventually working up to being able to comfortably spend time together, and Fuyumi is usually there as well. Shouto tries visiting as much as he can but admittedly is busy, and Touya feels guilty for everything still so it’s awkward with all his siblings. Natsuo is the one he spends the least amount of time with in person because he goes away for college, but he does keep in contact through letters and calls. Which is easier for them in the beginning.

But yeah, Rei loves being able to help Touya because she wasn’t able to when he needed it the first time. And it helps her as well. Rei gets out more, more comfortable with spending time with other people. She reconnects with her children a lot more than she had previously and idc she gets to have fun and make friends like she deserves. Shouto definitely introduces her to his friends parents

I was thinking about Synthesia (where people can see colors when they hear music) and I was like "hmm, girl them people would not survive in old times when everyone slapped "witch" and "devil worshipper" when they couldn't explain something scientific" and then my head went- 💡💡💡

What if pastor Enji Todoroki and his family, who are firm religion preachers and practically control the town (and who lives or dies, merely based on rumors and allegations), have a daughter reader who has synthesia or something scientific that was inexplicable at the time, and since reader was raised in this cult/preacher family to be the perfect angelic girl- can u imagine the distress she goes through when she realises that she has "blasphemous abilities" that others don't?

So now this could go 2 ways:

1. Reader bawls her eyes out and the family is like???????? WHATS WRONG BABY GIRL??? and when reader tells them, they all unanimously agree to hide you and your "abilities" from the rest of town (which consists of some people who hate the Todoroki clan for killing their loved ones and are not about to take hypocrisy).

2. Todoroki clan convinces reader that these are not "blasphemous abilities" and that she isn't a "devil worshipper" but actually she is a Saint/deity that needs to be worshipped and here's comes Todoroki clan brainwashing the town to join the cult.

3. Reader runs for her life because she doesn't want her dad to kill her, only for the Todoroki clan (Dabi is having the time of his life chasing u) to hunt her down weeks later and drag her back home where she's now locked away from the world and start the process of "curing you".

And we all know what happens when Rei decides to take your "healing" upon herself...

Have you seen the update? I cried when Dabi cried and said sorry to Shoto... They deserve better......I wish for AU where Touya can be the a big brother for his siblings. He'll be a good brother, right? Do you have any hedcanons if Touya still stay with his siblings?

I have seen the leaks! I don’t talk about manga stuff on here much because I’m not a manga reader, so I try to keep my blog spoiler free too.

But I do want to talk about this so I’m going to use ask this to do that! It makes me sad. I hope he doesn’t actually die, I think killing a suicidal characis not a good way to end their arc.

But it’s okay we don’t have to think about that, let’s think about big brother touya instead:

he’d probably be really good at piercings, since he has a few and he also just has to staple his whole face all the time. So I can definitely imagine him giving a piercing to one of the others, maybe they get matching ones?

I’d like for him to go no-contact with Enji in the same way Natsuo said he will, though I doubt he will if he does live because he still wants his father’s affection. I can see him considering it many times

I think he’d make a real effort to get to know Shoto and be close to him, after the apology I definitely think he regrets his actions toward Shoto and I think he’s always wanted to know him deep down

He’d be interested in the lives of the other two, I think he’d especially find Natsuo in med school to be quite wholesome as I headcanon Natsuo was the one to patch up Touya’s burns when they were younger

He would probably take longer to start talking to Rei again as I think he feels incredibly guilty for how he treated her. But I can definitely see him breaking down and apologising to her next

with Fuyumi and Natsuo I’d imagine he’d try and get their relationship to be back how it used to be. Which I don’t think would work, but I can see them becoming close again.

i like to think when rei could, her and shoto would play games together and one of those games were mario party. shoto is really good at it now. people think it's luck but he just played a lot with his mom and on his own and now it's a comfort for him.

Okay But Imagine If Endeavor had a secret love child

(TW: Mentions of cheating, hints towards abuse, hints towards pregnancy)

Okay so just imagine. Me personally, Enji Todoroki does not seem like a loyal man in the SLIGHTEST with his track record. Like I could definitely see him going to clubs and hooking up with people while on missions out of the country to let off steam because he has a wife who he doesn’t love, a son that is a danger to himself and doesn’t know what it means to quit, and two other children who are ‘failed experiments’

Enji is hella motivated to accomplish his mission to create the most powerful kid, HOWEVER, he’s still human. I think deep deep down he might want some form of true love and human connection. And that’s where /she/ comes in. The gorgeous woman that he meets in a diner one late night in America, while trying to get a decent meal after a hard mission. Any place that would even come close to having something that fits his meal plan is closed, but he knows he needs to eat. So this seemed like his best option.

He enters the diner, and it’s sorta dark and is cheap as all hell. He had half a mind to turn around and just starve, but the smell of something fried hit his nose and he gave up that thought quickly. He picked his own seat, a booth in the back next to a window that hadn’t been cleaned in a while. His hand touched something sticky on the table, and his lip curled in disgust. But that curl turned into a small ‘o’ as his jaw dropped, his eyes catching the waitress that was walking towards his booth. He was never a love at first sight kind of man, especially when he gave up such a silly concept long ago, but this was enough to make him get on his knees and praise Cupid. It felt like an arrow of warmth and desire had been shot through his chest. He had a fire quirk but nothing had made him feel so hot.

Rei and the kids were nothing but a distant thought all the way in the back of his brain stem when the woman approached his table. She seemed other worldly, tall and full and brave and soft. Something about her full curls and dark skin gave nothing less than goddess. There was so much to look at but there felt like so little time to take in everything she had to offer.

A soft clearing of her throat though brought him out of his stupor.

“Can I get you anything, sugar?”

The nickname made him blush, heat rushing to his face. It was a miracle his skin didn’t alight with his flame. “Yes- my apologies. Let me get, um,” here he was, sweating and stuttering like a school boy. Pathetic- he was pathetic. Before he could get truly angry at himself, she laughed, and the sound was like a drug.

“Here, you seem like you’ve been working hard. Let me get you a coffee and a proper menu, and I’ll come back for ya. Sound good?”

And all he could do is nod with a fry mouth, his face so hot he could’ve sworn his quirk was activated.

When she came back, she poured him a coffee, asking if he was from around while he browsed the menu. He said no, and told her of his hero work and his home in Japan. She listened with open ears and heart, finding herself sitting in the booth to listen to the scarlet haired man. She took the extra mug on the table, pouring herself a cup and loading it with mini creamers and sugar packets. It was a complete contrast to Enji’s own pitch black cup. But he didn’t mind. He honestly found it cute. He wondered if the sugar in the coffee was apart of what made the woman so sweet.

One cup of coffee turned to two. And that two turned to three with two waffle specials and a bowl of fruit to share. That ended up being a free meal for him and a ride home for her after her long shift. And the kiss at the door, well…you can guess where that led.

He left in the morning before she could wake, as he had a flight to catch by that noon. But he left her with a parting gift: his cell number and the large jacket he gave her when the night breeze got too cold.

Their affair continued for a while. It didn’t help Enji that Touya was putting himself in more danger, Rei seemed to be increasingly more difficult to deal with, and like her body got tired of the constant trying for his perfectly quirked child. And he knew it was wrong, of course he did, but when had that ever been enough to stop him? He began making up missions and lies, just to fly back across the sea to see his gorgeous waitress. And every time he left her a gift. A diamond charm bracelet, a new pair of shoes, a heart felt note with Godiva chocolates. And all she did in return was make him feel alive, like his life was worth more then it ever had been.

Six months.

It all lasted six months.

That was until he got the call from Rei, mid flight across the ocean, that she was pregnant. All thoughts of love and happiness and the small whisp of desire to leave his family behind and start a new one with his lover was erased. He had a feeling. This was it, his perfect child. He had the pilot turn the plane around, leaving his doll with one last parting gift.

The baby growing within her.

This time? He didn’t look back.
