Of course he hated the idea that this Robin guy could cozy up to Regina and win her heart, especially on nights that were supposed to be just for . For Them. But suddenly, Regina has met this other guy and will not stop talking about him or bringing him up, and it irks Marcos. He shook his head. “I just hate messing with things that work, you know.”

Drizella didn’t bother to respond, just scooted a little closer and tried not to break into giggles as she kept up with the look. She couldn’t help that she was built perfectly for irresistible puppy-dog eyes -- but it sure did come in handy when trying to get what she wants.

❛ I’m not sure what you’re trying to achieve, but you’re missing that oomph when it comes to actually carrying out your plans. You’re nothing more than hot air trying to latch onto something to make you feel worthwhile. It would do us all good if you just left. ❜  The Queen wasn’t the only one missing pieces of herself, but at least Regina had gotten a handle on herself long enough to write out a script, one she couldn’t deviate from if she wanted to stand tall and proud. Confidence was what she lacked, but that didn’t mean she was stupid.

“Hey there, handsome.” Regina sat herself in David’s lap, moving the book from his hands so that she could have his complete and undivided attention. “What are you reading?”

David’s lips form into a pout when the book is plucked from his hands, despite it being replaced by her body. “Well, I was reading ‘To Kill A Mockingbird’.” It was his favorite modern book. “Until I was so rudely interrupted,” he teased.

The blonde was now the frequent visitor to city hall everyone knew why of course. She had stopped caring though, her feelings for Regina were the best thing that had ever happened to her and she wasn’t about to let her go. The office door was closed and from what she could tell the ‘Mayor’ was in a meeting. She could hear voices on the other side so she let it be, instead she took a seat outside. Placing headphones in her ears she amped up the music on her phone while waiting for the door to open.
