Discover the magic of weaving in and outdoors during our Kids Summer Camp....through being immersed in nature art and shadow sculptures! We are collaborating with the very lovely @berlinweaving for an art filled day camp combining child-led playful art, and a twist on the age old tradition of weaving. During the day camp the kids will work together and individually to create both large scale creative art installations in our large empty indoor space in Prenzlauer Berg, as well as experiment with art in nature at nearby Leise Park. We will be INDOOR for our art installation using various yarns and fabrics; explore weaving with alternative ‘looms’; shadow play; exploring and experimenting with various materials and tools, from the tiny to the gigantic, layering, drawing, experimenting. We will then go OUTDOORS* to make looms; weaving with found materials, outdoor sculptures, costumes, hats, whatever can be imagined,  using brought and found natural materials. So so exciting, yay!
