#possibly one of the most surreal things to ever happen to me is when i was staying with a quaker in knoxville#( my boyfriend's uncle )#and it was summer so i was wearing ( tasteful ) ass shorts#i have visible sh scars and he ( politely ) asked why my leg was all scratched up .#i didn't give much of a reply because what do you even say to that#in retrospect it's pretty hysterical to me ( mostly because he's a fucking quaker )#i always wonder if people who ask that sort of shit genuinely have no clue or feel justified in bringing attention to it#regardless it was very funny. god bless quakers#i have had a no good very bad day and this is how i'm coping#don't mind it <3#🦷
