Human Centric Lighting Market to See Explosive Growth by 2027 | MRFR
Market Scope
Market Research Future (MRFR) believes that the human centric lighting market 2020 can gain substantial grounds across the globe between 2018 and 2023 (evaluation period). The market is said to be expanding at an exhilarating pace, given the increasing application scope of human centric lighting in the healthcare industry, such as in elderly care centers and hospitals. We will provide COVID-19 impact analysis with the report. The report discusses the COVID-19 impact on the market and the growth potential of the industry following the coronavirus disease outbreak.
COVID-19 Analysis
SARS-CoV-2 has led to higher focus on the development of a strong supply chain as well as on the exploration of ways to deal with the lack of raw materials and products in the semiconductor industry. The novel coronavirus induced lockdown has boosted the demand for potential suppliers along with the adoption of better techniques to bring down the instability in the supply chain. Post pandemic, the situation has been such that more and more industries are adopting the latest technologies that can ensure better productivity and stability of the supply chain.
Although the lighting industry is bearing the repercussions of the COVID-19 outbreak, human-centric lighting (HCL) systems are finding extensive deployment in healthcare, industrial, education, residential and retail industries. The demand for HCL systems has gone up significantly in the healthcare sector, following the pandemic, especially in elderly care centers for people who are unable to obtain daylight due to mobility issues or some illness. Its effectiveness in light therapy treatment is also boosting its demand further, which can mean that the human centric lighting market can remain strong despite the SARS-CoV-2 outbreak.

Key Boosters and Main Restraints
In June 2020, Samsung built a new human-centric lighting LED called LM302N DAY that is used in daytime operations. The HCL LED helps bring down the person’s melatonin level by 18 percent compared to a conventional LED lighting. With the use of dual blue emitters, LM302N DAY facilitates more scattering of blue energy, which leads to higher effect on the nonvisual system. Several renowned companies in the human centric lighting market are actively conducting research and development of advanced lighting solutions for diverse end-users. With residential and commercial infrastructure progressively consuming smart technologies in their projects, players are encouraged to launch superior quality products that can help them gain more consumers and boost their market position.
With each passing year, the concerns with regard to the conservation of energy has mounted exponentially across regions, following which more and more end users are opting for greener alternatives and are taking up sustainable growth practices. A number of renowned research institutions are performing researches that pertain to circadian lighting’s effectiveness on human mental state and productivity, which can do wonders for the human centric lighting industry in the long run.
The sharp rise in industrialization around the world, primarily in emerging regions can be a significant growth enhancer in the market. Mass Shootings and Gun Reform.
I agree with Phil on most of this. I'm a middle of the road kind of gal. I'm not in favor of banning all guns - and it's unrealistic, anyway - but I also think it's absolutely insane that we have such lax laws regarding guns... especially when these mass shootings not only keep happening but seem to be picking up speed. I think that it is a very layered issue and as such, requires a layered fix. People like to pick one cause for gun violence (easy access to guns, toxic masculinity, the glorification of violence and gun violence in society, mental illness and instability, etc) when really, it's ALL of these issues that are contributing to the current state of things.
Now, I don't know what a perfect fix would be, but in my opinion, gun laws should be as rigorous as car/driving laws. I know people like to use the "cars are used to kill people too" argument to deflect from gun control/reform, but that's really one of the most ridiculous strawmen I've ever heard. Cars and drivers ARE regulated. They require a testing, training, and a license. They require insurance. They are tracked when they are bought or sold. They require a state-issued plate. And drivers are required to meet rigorous and constant safe driving laws on a daily basis in order to continue making use of their car. There are so many loopholes and lax regulation in gun laws that it is legitimately easier to be an irresponsible gun owner than an irresponsible driver... and that's just crazy to me. This needs to change or these tragedies will never stop. We SHOULD have a system in which a person should prove that they have the physical and mental compacity to be a responsible gun owner. That they understand how to use that gun, how to safely own it, what owning and using that gun means, and when NOT to use that gun. That they have no history of violence, and if they do have a history, that they've been approved for a gun by a mental health professional and/or judge before getting that gun.
But, I have significant doubts that such steps will ever be taken so long as a small handful of powerful politicians - and the NRA and other gun groups backing them - continue holding so much power and influence. The majority of the country - recent polls put it around 90% - actually do support SOME level of gun reform but the gun lobbies are keeping it from happening. They propagate the notion that gun reform/control won't help anything - even though they have in other industrialized nations that have utilized them - and that guns aren't actually a problem... even though they very much are. And you can't solve a problem if you refuse to acknowledge that there is one.
Gun laws need to be updated and modernized to fit our changed world. Guns have changed since the constitution, not only are they deadlier, they're much easier and quicker to use, including in the hands of children. And our population is nowhere near the number it was at the time of the constitution... there weren't anywhere near as many large populated public areas in which to take as many lives as there are now.

Dealing with a sexually confused child
Sexuality is one of the most important and defining aspects of our life. The human experience of sexuality is related not only to the purpose of procreation, but also to several other functions. Sexuality can strengthen and deepen relationships; can serve as a method of relieving stress; widely regarded as a way of self-expression; and not to minimize, it is usually a joyful activity. People have a much more complex sexuality than any other species. This complexity expands opportunities for entertainment and getting more pleasure from sexual activity, but also is a source of problems related to desires, desires and actions related to sex. Adolescence is often portrayed as a critical period of life when young people must undergo a dangerous transition between childhood and adulthood, especially with regard to sexuality. Research focuses on the turmoil and instability of adolescents. The behavior of young people is usually considered risky and violent, and not creative or inquisitive. Teenagers are portrayed as concerned and needing intervention. Gay and straight young men occupy different positions on the line of instability and risk. Emotional crisis and unrest are not so common for direct adolescents, who usually find themselves in the "right" adulthood, while homosexual youth is a subculture and have complex relationships with adults and heterosexual peers. According to scientists, gay teenagers are at risk. They are more likely to develop mental health problems, commit suicide, experience substance abuse problems and are malnourished at school. More attention should be paid to the identified risks to specific problems of LGBT youth (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, or polls). Young people of LGBTK are no different from their heterosexual peers in the sense that they need to form their own identity, but they also have an additional cultural need for information and community. Here are some tips for parents who have a child with sexual confusion or the identity of LGBTQ: 1. Your child belongs to you, regardless of his sexual orientation. 2. Adopting adolescents, providing love, caring and support is the best way to prevent negative consequences. 3. Do not unintentionally encourage your child to lie (encourage honesty). 4. Adolescence - the time of experiments. Do not take it. 5. Sexual orientation is not an option. No "therapy" can not be changed. 6. The goal of sexual confusion or LGBT youth is the same as their heterosexual peers: they want to grow up to a happy adult. You can help them more than anyone else. 7. Young people belonging to a sexual minority can be very useful and respected by members of the community. 8. Regardless of their sexual orientation, you must teach and encourage safe sex to your children. 9. In addition to safe sex, you must specify the example of people who can have a long-term, happy and full relationship. Yes, not heterosexuals can have such a relationship. Watch your child's actions. Encourage age-appropriate behavior and prevent inappropriate or dangerous behavior. Read more and become informed. The Internet is an excellent source of information about the sexual embarrassment of adolescents or adolescents with gender identity. This article is taken from the book "Sexual Identity? From confusion to clarity "by Dr. Richard L. Travis. This book is part of a series of books titled "The series of living wells of Dr. T", Dr. Richard L. Travis.

BREAKING: Leading Psychiatrists Make SHOCK Announcement About Trump’s Mental Health
The American Psychoanalytic Association just told its 3,500 members that they should be allowed to give their opinions on Donald Trump—and to heck with the decades-old Goldwater rule that says they can’t. The 1964 Goldwater rule states that psychiatrists cannot give their opinions about the mental state of public figures.
Under the current administration, many psychiatrists are feeling the strain of that gag order. Some professionals have felt completely stifled by the Goldwater Rule, which prevents them from offering their opinions and advice about a president whose mental state may be making 330 million Americans unsafe.
The American Psychoanalytic Association is now publicly breaking from the Goldwater rule with a recent statement to its members. The statement says that members of the association should not feel as if they cannot comment on the current mental health of public officials—and yes, that includes the president.
“We don’t want to prohibit our members from using their knowledge responsibly,” explained former association President Dr. Prudence Gourguechon.
That responsibility is greater than it has ever been in the past, certainly greater than it has been since the Goldwater rule came into existence, because “Trump’s behavior is so different from anything we’ve seen before,” said Dr. Gourguechon.
Many psychiatrists have recently spoken out against the Goldwater rule, while some have flouted it outright. Dr. Leonard Glass of Harvard Medical School says that the Goldwater rule is detrimental to the public as a whole and the psychiatry profession specifically, as it keeps them from offering “our professional judgment and prevents us from communicating our understanding” of public officials, says Dr. Glass.
Glass said last week that the rule is “an unacceptable infringement on my right and duty.” He also offered his resignation from the American Psychiatric Association (APA), of which he had been a member for the past 41 years.
The APA adopted the Goldwater rule in 1973.
The Goldwater rule came about in 1964 after a group of psychiatrists responded to a survey asking whether or not Republican presidential contender Barry Goldwater was mentally fit to be the president of the United States.
According to the rule, it’s unethical for a professional to offer their opinion about a public figure’s mental health. Just last March, the APA reaffirmed the Goldwater Rule and said it is still in effect.
No other medical profession is prohibited in this way. When a president or presidential contender becomes physically ill, for example, everyone with a medical degree is allowed to go on TV, the radio or social media to say what they think the cause may be.
Cardiologists, epidemiologists and medical professionals of all kinds—with the exception of one specific kind—can freely give their medical opinions about public figures.
There has been pushback against the Goldwater rule since its inception in the 1960s, but the opposition has grown louder and more passionate since Donald Trump won the Republican nomination and subsequently, the presidency.
The American Psychoanalytic Association has now publicly broken with the rule, and informed their members of such.
“In the case of Donald Trump, there is an extraordinary abundance of speech and behavior on which one could form a judgment,” said Dr. Glass. “It’s an informed hypothesis, and one we should be able to offer rather than the stunning silence demanded by the Goldwater rule.”
There is no penalty for violating the Goldwater rule, since it’s not a law. Technically, the psychiatric association could file a complaint with the state medical board for members who violate the Goldwater rule. But this has never happened, and the association has never ejected a member for violating the rule.
In 1964, a total of 1,189 psychiatrists answered questions for the survey regarding Barry Goldwater. More than half found Goldwater to be unfit to serve the office due to his “unpredictable” and “emotionally unstable” behavior. Some even found him to be “a dangerous lunatic.”
Sound familiar?
Goldwater lost the presidency to incumbent Lyndon B. Johnson, but later won a lawsuit after he sued the magazine that published the story. In 1973, the APA began implementing the Goldwater rule.
Then in February, 33 mental health professionals—including Harvard’s Dr. Glass—sent a signed letter to the “failing” New York Times.
“We believe that the grave emotional instability indicated by Mr. Trump’s speech and actions makes him incapable of serving safely as president,” the letter said.
“We fear that much is at stake to be silent any longer,” the letter states. “Mr. Trump’s own speech and actions demonstrate an inability to tolerate views different from his own, leading to rage reactions.”
“His words and behavior suggest a profound inability to empathize. Individuals with these traits distort reality to suit their psychological state, attacking facts and those who convey them (journalists, scientists).”
POLL: Is Trump mentally ill?
Trump is prone to erratic behavior and strange outburts, but so far mental health professionals have not offered a diagnosis. What’s your opinion of the president’s mental health?
Do you think that trained medical professionals should be allowed to offer their informed opinions about the mental health of the leaders of the country and the world?
Don’t you think someone should?
Don’t we all deserve to know what the country’s most respected mental health professionals have to say about Donald Trump? Share this story on Facebook, and spread the word about the Goldwater rule that’s keeping them from from speaking out.
