I have been trying to track down these Regal Tip Ultraflex brushes for months. I mean MONTHS. I knew I had them somewhere - in a bag, the pocket of a drum case, something like that - I just couldn't find them. So frustrating. Finally came across them in a bag of leads for my electronic drum kit. Go figure. Always when you're least expecting it. I tell you what though, they're worth the wait. Speaking of "weight", the wooden handles make all the difference. They feel like drum sticks and articulate like drum sticks too. So much attack. Can't wait to use them at a Taptonic rehearsal tomorrow night. That'll be the real test. A gig played almost entirely with brushes.
