Welcome to The Cursed The Hollow Blog!

And welcome to this absurdly overdue introductory post that I'm going to have pinned on my blog! Here in this blog we hold cringe, cringe, and nothing BUT cringe! My asks are open, feel free to bother me with your thoughts! And...well, mayhaps the interesting The Hollow Alternate Universe that meets your eye! My ao3 should be linked up in my profile description. I also have a few projects that started as The Hollow AUs but became their own original ideas. I may post for them as well since they're so closely related to The Hollow in my heart. Something to note: I am ok with people creating fan content for my own content. In fact please do so; such things fuel me to create more. This blog is primarily Reekai centered, or well, at least I myself am the one and most prominent Reeve and Kai shippers. I love most of the ships though; Kaidam and Skira are pretty bomb.

I'm your wonderful host: Cursi. I create things for an absurdly small and quiet fandom, and I'm here to fix that silence! Any pronouns are acceptable. As for my gender: it's Chaos-fluid. No I will not elaborate; my gender is whatever makes the cishets the most confused!

I have a lovely lovely collection of friends I am living with who also are a huge fan of The Hollow and post The Hollow content. They call themselves Eklesia. @valarioncy is their fan account, but @eklesia-system is their plural account. They're a system, and I'm actually dating a few of their members (Sleet and Sidney). Speaking of valarioncy, me and them are accepting commissions and donations! Just spreading the word out there.

Who are you, Cursi?

Oh? Who am I? What's my deal? What's my business? I like to keep my online persona strictly separate from my real life persona, so you're never going to know any personal details about me except my age (I'm in my early twenties. I've been in this fandom since I was seventeen), the rare mentions of how I used to live in a specific state, and maybe my experiences in my birth gender. (unless you a mutual I deeply trust.) I'm living the way of the early internet: Anonymity! The double life! Y'all will never know my true name! Mwahahah!

But as for my interests and my general personality? I love animals, The Hollow, drawing and writing, world-building, video games, and I loooooove me some pastels mixed with some blacks and dark blues. I'm a bit of a pushover at times, and I despise conflict. Even then, I have pretty strong ideals and if I perceive injustice I'm likely going to call it out.

With the basics out of the way, here's all the navigational stuff under the cut! If there are no links, that probably means this introductory is a WIP or was re-blogged in WIP status. Check back some time!

So you wanna talk about your relationships with the others? How much do you remember about the other five? Do you remember how you met some of them and for how long you've known them?

That's pretty loaded. I remember a lot about the other five. And I definitely remember the events of the series.

I met Mira when I was six (neighborhood friends, we didn't go to elementary school together; Skeet was her school friend) and I met Reeve when I was eleven. The three of us were close all throughout middle school. Actually Reeve started standing up for me where my bullies were involved. He gave me the courage to talk about what had been happening at school to my parents and we actually got something done about it.

Kai was always just the kid Mira's little brother had over sometimes. I didn't really think about him or even consider his existence until Reeve left our Hollow team. I know that's... hard for me to say now. Kai's a good friend nowadays. My universe's version of him doesn't exist in our system right now so uh, I'm kinda missing him.

I officially met Vanessa in the Hollow championships but I knew she was around before then since she talked to Reeve a lot. I kinda thought she was a desperate fangirl at first but yeah, first impressions are often deceiving. And I knew Skeet as Reeve's gaming buddy and someone Mira had gone to school with growing up. I had no idea they were that close though.

Honestly the only people I was ever close to growing up were Mira and Reeve.
