Before Mile 20 and just before the drummers at #MCM2014 was the oasis I've been counting the miles down to since Mile 17 - the awesome #RedFeltRunningClub #RFRC Mile 20 Crew. My beacon of hope and redemption, lol. The heavenly plate of cookies, containers of watermelon, and that diet Dr. Pepper were a sight for sore eyes for this walking dead. My friends nourished me, hugged The Wall out of me, and gave me ibuprofen with love, care, and advice to hydrate lots for my kidneys sake, lol. Cannot thank them enough every year for their support. Love them all. #runwiththemarines #marinecorpsmarathon

Water Stop between Mile 17 and 18 at #MCM2014. I stopped taking pics after this because the wheels were slowly starting to fall off which i knew was bound to happen. The inside of my knees were starting to ache. I take Tylenol and hope it carries me at least through Mile 20 where #RedFeltRunningClub support crew was camped out. Plan A is out the window. Executing Plan B which is to finish pain - free. To be continued... #marinecorpsmarathon #runwiththemarines #beastmodeon

#ShamrockMarathon2014 These guys at Mile 23/22!! Thank you!!! From my #RedFeltRunningClub. Gave us exactly what we needed at that point. Potato chips!! My knee starts to bother me. I want to stop. Maria and I let the 5hr balloons go. I was starting to feel the beginnings of that same stabbing pain I felt MCM 2012. I say "I feel good," over and over again and it works.
