A Turtle’s Journey

I think this might be a Red-Eared Slider (Trachemys scripta elegans), I'm not absolutely sure certain though. It is my first guess. I asked Copilot to identify the species and Copilot also said perhaps a red-eared slider.

This is one of my favorites! We found the shell of a (already deceased) red eared slider. We cut the shell in half because it would be difficult to cast the whole shell properly, and cast each half in sterling silver. We welded it back together and turned into this with some gunmetal chain! You’re basically looking at a bolo/necklace hybrid!
