Sorry they’re not great photos. With the help from @brdwdwrd I managed to sand down and screw all three pairs of antlers on these handmade shields. Last set which were the biggest were a nightmare to do. I was convinced at one point they wouldn’t stay on the shield. Luckily good ol’ apoxie sculpt did the trick and car body filler. It now stays securely on the shield. Pimped antique corkscrew with Red deer stag antler from the herd I used to look after as a Park Ranger  . The cut ends of the antler have been sealed with copper dust / epoxy mix  sanded and buffed .

When the guys at the @poly.props stall over the weekend told me that the black Craft Foam performs better than the white and grey I didn't realise just how tight they are! It's like working with magic!!! Added some more definition to a custom pair of antlers and wow it goes on well! It's just so soft and silky and does exactly as its told 😭 . Cant wait to use it on other projects! Reindeer Antler no.2! Again, this is a design from my original set of four antlers, and a bit more of a "traditional" or recognisable reindeer shape, one thing I've learned researching antlers is that reindeer have THE MOST DIVERSE range of antlers, it's like there are no rules! I really do think these spotty antlers are cute >°< I try to give all my antler sets some individuality in how they're coloured, no set is ever the same. And sometimes that means spots! Lost count of how many sets I've carved the basic shape into and had to lay them all out 😅 . Only about a third of these are ready to be covered in Worbla but I'm not too far behind of the others. I found in this batch it's much easier on my hands and fingers if I get a basic shape in on a few then go in after and refine the edges. It's also helping me get an idea of how many sets I can get done for Doki Doki 😁 .
