Avenue south residence
The Silver Lake area in Los Angeles, California is known for its picturesque locations. The area derived its name from the Silver Lake Reservoir. It is certainly a place to be in for people who are hip, fashionable, ingenious, trendy, etc. The area is bordered on the four sides by the Atwater Village in the north, the Echo Park on the east, the East Hollywood on the west and the Historic Filipino town on its south.
In order to know the area much better, it is imperative to know about the living class there. While the residences around the Silver Lake Reservoir house the rich and famous, those who belong to the low income group live near the Sunset Boulevard. Of course, the homes near the Silver Lake Reservoir are highly expensive considering its elegance and classiness.
The architectural wonders of the Silver Lake makes it more famous particularly for the modern architecture used in building residences. One can find people from various ethnic backgrounds and subcultures, populating the Silver Lake area. Gay culture is highly predominant in this area with more number of same-sex couples living here.
Walt Disney's studio was first built at the Hyperion Avenue and Griffith Park Boulevard in Silver Lake area and in its place now stands the Mixville shopping centre. Well, this explains why Walt Disney is very attached to the name Hyperion so as to name some of their entities as Hyperion Theatre and the Hyperion Books. There are way too Avenue south residence price list  many stairs in this area such as the Redcliffe Stairs, Descanso Stairs, and the Music Box Stairs and these provide access to the signature hills in the region. It is intriguing to know that that Music Box Stairs appeared in the Laurel and Hardy movie.
Vegan dining opportunities in Silver Lake Area
There are way too many dining options in Silver Lake area considering the fact that people from multiple ethnic groups have made it their home. The Sunset Boulevard in this region houses some of the best restaurants in the business. People will be able to taste the best vegan diet here and be sure that the ingredients used are organic. For the health-conscious, there are way too many restaurants that serve only foods that will keep its consumers healthy.
The Blossom Vietnamese Restaurant, which is located at the Sunset Boulevard, is an apt place for people looking for authentic vegan food. The Bulan Thai Vegetarian Kitchen is an awesome place that vegan must frequent. Yes, just try out the mouth-watering Veggie Chicken Hot Wings, which is their speciality. Chicken Hot Wings in a vegetarian restaurant? Well, yes! Just taste this if you are a compulsive vegan craving for chicken! The faux chicken and faux beef that the chef at this restaurant uses in the fried rice and curry is a delicacy that shouldn't be missed at any cost. Their menu is vegan-friendly yet the dishes taste like it is non-vegetarian! Thai food lovers don't miss out on the Bulan Thai Vegetarian Restaurant at the Santa Monica Boulevard if you are around the Silver Lake area!
The Flore Vegan Cuisine at the Sunset Boulevard is a wonderful place to dine. It has indoor and outdoor seating arrangements and is a good place to be in for lunch. Try out their macro bowls when you are there. It is a healthy diet as it is made of kale, brown rice, sprouts, sunflower seeds etc. Their club sandwiches consist of tofu, which is made of soya, lettuce, avocado and tomatoes. The cheesecake made of chocolate peanut butter is at another delicacy cannot be avoided.
The Vegan House in this area is another restaurant that will be a delight for the food lovers, especially those who prefer some splendid vegetarian delights. The Pad Kee Mow served with veggie chicken proved the authenticity of the restaurant that they serve Thai Food!
The candlelight dinner at the Elf Place in Silver Lake Area is a must if you are an incurable romantic! The veggie food served here is simply top-notch and will certainly complement your healthy lifestyle.
Apart from the veg restaurants mentioned herein, there are way too many options available in this region. If you are vegan and want to tickle your taste buds try out some of the best restaurants that serve veg food as if they are non-veg delicacies.

I’ve been tagged by @aroundthesims Sandy!
“Rules: Choose a Sim of yours, post a picture of their bag content and tag 10 of your friends/followers/favorite Simblrs! Please tag #inmysimsbag. :)”
This is for Weronika Maly, Juho’s “other half” (his post can be viewed here). I assume it is not difficult to see why Weronika's bag post was delayed, as it is so much more cluttered!
For the most part, I’m quite happy with how this screenshot turned out, with the exception of bobby pin CC which AFAIK does not exist, at least for TS3. Sandy, do you by any chance have a future bag set planned for a sim who uses a lot of bobby pins? Asking just in case our purposes align ;)  If not, don’t sweat it!
I tag: @martinessimblr, @greenplumbboblover, @procrasimnation, @mspoodle1 (I know you already did one, but I’d like to extend an official invitation nevertheless, and if you decide you want to do one more, all the better!), @buckleysims, @nativeafua (I have no idea if this is your kind of thing, but I’d love to see what you come up with), @goatkibble, @treason-and-plot (I know you’ve been having computer trouble, and you already did one for everyone’s favorite Terry, but you know I love everything you write, so no pressure!), @acquiresimoleons, @willky12, @icy-spicy-scalpel, @bluehoppersimming, and @moonskin1993!
(Yes, I know that’s more than 10 people, but I made two posts, so I figure I can tag any number of people between 10 and 20 if I want! Also, if you want to participate in this challenge but are having trouble finding objects you want, I’ll be happy to answer WCIF or troubleshooting questions!)
Notes / WCIF links below the cut:
Tote Bag - Obviously it has to be big and sturdy, if it’s to hold everything she needs on a day-to-day basis. Weronika is a dancer, who has recently managed the extraordinary good fortune of landing a full-time contract to dance with the St. Claire Ballet Company corps. A dance career demands long hours, as well as for the dancer to be prepared for any eventuality: during the busiest weeks of the performing season, Weronika almost-literally has to live out of this bag. (Credit: “Beach” set by Around The Sims 3, with pattern by Parsimonious.)
Wallet - Her favorite wallet that she’s ever had. She bought it during a brief stop in Shanghai, returning to her then-home in Redcliffs from a trip to Japan. No one but her need know that she paid 5 simoleons for it and not 1500. (credit: You-Lust / Florence for the conversion, Adele for the original mesh. I resized and rotated the mesh for personal use.)
Objects that get her places - a backstage pass issued by her company so she can go where she needs to in the theatre unimpeded. (credit: personal creation, backstage pass mesh from “Anneke’s Bag” set by Around The Sims 3, custom texture using an image from the “Great Art” series by @femmeonamissionsims.) Her house keys are on a keychain with a rock crystal charm. (credit: personal creation, put together using Sandy’s key ring mesh from an item featured in her  “Anneke’s Bag” set, and from a decor mesh by BabaYaga @MTS)
Shoes are arguably the most important among the many things carried in Weronika's bag, and she always has several pairs kicking around in her bag (pun fully intended). Both simple leather practice slippers (credit: Everlasting-Garden, though I've made extensive edits to her conversion for my own purposes) for lessons and groundwork, and pointe shoes are carried. (credit: Luna > luna1 > Bucolico 3 Vintage > zapatillas 2, though for my personal use, I’ve resized the mesh and created a new texture from scratch, besides). And finally, jet glue, scissors, and a good sewing kit (not shown because I couldn't find sewing-themed CC that looked suitably low-key and portable) will conquer most emergencies that arise from shoe malfunction. (Credit: BabaYaga @MTS)
Electronics: A Blackberry, in order to stay on top of last-minute changes in rehearsal schedules. (Credit: “Armelle’s Bag” set by Around The Sims 3.) To listen to music, an iPod shuffle (Credit: “Allison’s Bag” set by Around The Sims 3) and a pimped-out headset (personal creation, HA2D’s accessory headset converted to a decor object).
Dancing demands a lot of energy, and contrary to popular belief, eating disorders are not considered desirable in a dancer, neither in theory nor practice (though the immense demands of the job of course mean that both male and female dancers are susceptible). The food she carries tend to be split between calorie-dense morsels such as chocolate bars or cheese cubes (credit: You-Lust / Florence for the conversions, Ludwig and 8x3 respectively for the original meshes), good for a quick energy boost as well as lifting the spirits a little bit, and healthy items like lean turkey sandwiches, salads or fruit. Apples travel well and are easy to digest so she doesn’t get cramps from dancing too soon after eating. (credit: You-Lust / Florence for the conversion, MysticRain for the original mesh) Oh, and of course, plenty of water. (credit: CycloneSue @TSR)
Next to shoe paraphernalia, hair paraphernalia is probably the most important part of a dancer’s arsenal: hairspray (credit: “Lola Dressing Table” by ClioSims), hair serum (credit: “Addicted 2Clutter” by Repulsively Desirous... though the link at the Graveyard is mislabeled, and you actually need to download the set labeled “Clutter Addict 01″ to get this item) and a hairbrush (Credit: “Decor Updated” by ClioSims), a hair clip to make styling easier (Credit: “Anneke’s Bag” set by Around The Sims 3). Not to mention loads and loads of the aforementioned bobby pins.
Her makeup pouch (credit: “Allison’s Bag” set by Around The Sims 3, with pattern by Murano @TSR) contains lip balm (credit: “Clementine’s Bag” set by Around The Sims 3), lipstick and a tin of Nivea (credit: “Beauty Salon No.2″ set by Around The Sims 3), blush (credit: “Armelle’s Bag” set by Around The Sims 3), a portable kabuki brush and any stray earrings that she may have taken off during the day (credit: LitSims for the conversion, Nemestnaya for the original meshes). Also two bottles of perfume (credit: “Body Shop” set by Around The Sims 3, One Billion Pixels), cream cleanser (credit: You-Lust for the conversion, Mari for the original mesh) to get all that greasepaint thoroughly cleansed off after performances, deodorant (credit: “Allison’s Bag” set by Around The Sims 3) for those sweaty, sweaty days, and hand sanitizer (credit: “Anneke’s Bag” set by Around The Sims 3) to keep the germs at bay in the crush backstage.
On that health-related note, Weronika also carries compression bandages, ointment, and a massage ball for sore muscles (credit: LivingDeadGirl @TSR for the mesh, though I removed the Epsom salt carton from it, and BrittPinkieSims for the Simlish textures; the “massage ball” is actually the hacky sack toy from the Uni Life EP), as well as toe tape to prevent foot blisters and chafing... or some of them, anyway. (credit: Hekate999 @MTS)
Other miscellanies - a fresh towel to mop up sweat (credit: Suza @Simply Styling), a travel umbrella (credit: “Anneke’s Bag” set by Around The Sims 3), and a notebook to jot down choreography notes. (credit: You-Lust / Florence for the conversion, Mari for the mesh, Baufive for the textures which I adopted from his stacking books).

New Post has been published on https://vacationsoup.com/bristol-harbour-festival-19th-21st-july-2019/
Bristol Harbour Festival 19th - 21st July 2019
The Bristol Harbour Festival is back this weekend - Friday 19th July to Sunday 21st July.   Celebrating its 47th year, this free festival brings over 250,000 people together and is held annually to celebrate the city’s maritime heritage and the importance of Bristol’s docks and harbour.
Most of the activities are free, including live music, street performances, dance acts, interactive theatre, international circus acts, daredevil stunts and a variety of other live entertainments which are held on or near the waterfront of Bristol Harbour.
The outside venues include Queen Square, Lloyds Amphitheatre, Narrow Quay, Merchants, Quay, Hannover Quay, Millennium Square and Cathedral Walk, with seagoing vessels moored nearby. The liveliest part of the festival is quayside and the main attractions are entertainment designed to engage all the communities of Bristol, as well as entertain the thousands of visitors to the city.
Find your way around the Bristol Harbour Festival’s Performance Areas - Downloadable Map  See the program of events further down the page.
Market Locations
Narrow Quay,  Merchants Quay,  Queens Square and Hannover Quay
The City has hosted the festival since 1971, when it was started as part of an, ultimately successful, attempt to save the docks from being filled in.  In 2012, the festival attracted over 200,000 visitors, its highest ever attendance at that time, with the Irene and the Matthew being two of the tall ships in attendance that year.
The festival is held every year in July over a weekend and many of the bar and restaurants put on extra entertainment to keep visitors happy during the late evenings. In 2018 visitors were be able to watch for the first time, the Power8 rowing sprints battle it out on the water, as teams from eight cities compete to be the best.
The highlight of this year’s festival will be the arrival of three very special tall ships - The Etoile Molence, Irene and Iris.  Also Power8 Sprints will also be headlining with their 350 metre, high octane rowing action on the water.
More than 250 boats of varying shapes and sizes will be tied up at every available mooring along a four-mile stretch of the Harbourside, with familiar sights such as the SS Great Britain and the Matthew all set to appear.
There’s so much entertainment to keep you engaged, including music at the huge outdoor concert area “the Lloyds Amphitheatre”, top quality circus and street theatre acts from Circus Bijou.  Western Boat Show, showcasing all kinds of sailing boats and power boats, rowing competitions, general fun and games in the water, dedicated family areas, plus the Continental Food Market at Queens Square, a fantastic line-up from across France, Italy, Spain and Germany providing olives, cheese, crepes and more, an experience for the taste buds together with traditional gifts and crafts and lots of Harbourside fun for everyone.
Travel – Head for the City Centre, follow signs for Harbour Festival.  Further travel info Here.
Parking
There is plenty of parking and it is advised to arrive early to get as close as possible to the available Harbourside Parking.  You will also find parking within a short walking distance of the Harbour at the following places -

Sky's Limit, pt2
As a little girl, I'd always loved dressing up and playing the piano. They allowed me to forget that my family didn't have much money. I guess that's the other reason why I became an entertainer. I hated the title 'Artist'. I didn't paint or sculpt or otherwise make art. I performed and entertained people. I made music and acted on stages. I hadn't always been popular, but I had always loved empathising with people and sharing stories. And now journalists loved following me with cameras. At least according to Parker, but I suspect he may be either a little paranoid, or has an overconfidence in me that I wish I had. Perhaps it was both. Either way, having signed with Vermilion Films in a three picture contract, I was now able to afford a place big enough for my dad and my luxurious lifestyle. My wardrobe was now the size my entire bedroom had been before Rick had scouted me during a matinee performance with the local theatre group in Redcliffe. Rick was a talent scout who worked for Vermilion, and had since become my go-to guide for the film industry. He gave sagely advice and was the stark opposite of Parker; he was well dressed, spoke with a mix of jargon and colloquial English and acted the way I expected a real artist to behave. I picked out something slightly dressier than my usual style, and tried impossibly hard to ensure it had some semblance of class. In the end, I went with a slim-fitting red dress and some silver heels. As I headed towards the bathroom I grabbed a sleek leather jacket to complete my look.

Pleased to announce that I will be performing in Redcliffe Musical Theatre’s Born in the USA!
Born in the USA is an all-American theatrical tribute conceived and directed by Madeleine Johns. It will play at the Redcliffe Cultural Centre, Downs Street, Redcliffe, for four shows: 7:30 pm, Friday, August 7, 2015; 2 pm and 7:30 pm, Saturday, August 8; 2 pm, Sunday, August 9.
From the website:
A celebration of what is uniquely American in popular music, musical theatre and comedy. From Elvis, The Mammas and The Pappas, The Supremes, The Beach Boys to Michael Jackson, Kiss, Guns and Roses and Madonna. Add a little Country and Western – Dolly Parton, Johnny Cash and Willie Nelson. Round it out with some All American Music Theatre such as Oklahoma, Chicago, Guys and Dolls and a dash of Rocky Horror and then sprinkle with classic American humour like Rowan and Martin’s Laugh-In, M.A.S.H., The Odd Couple, Abbott and Costello and The Muppets.
Tickets will be $35 per adult, $30 concession, or per member of a group of at least 10. Book online, or call (07) 3283 0407.
