Some headcanons of Azmidi because I'm fucking starving and I adore him

His main love languages are gift giving and acts of services.

He'll leave small presents and gifts around Sweetie's house while they're gone, like their favorite snacks or drinks, as a way to say "I know what you like and I like making you happy" and "I was in your home." He'll also leave handwritten love notes in different strategic places. Their work bag, their fridge, their nightstand, places he knows they'll look into at certain times of the day (yes, he has their schedule memorised, of course he does.)

Yeah, he can be equally adorable and terrifying, which is why Sweetie likes him in the first place.

He also will take note of the chores Sweetie doesn't enjoy and do them/part of them while they're gone/sleeping so that the workload is much easier.

He's freaky, but also, he really does appreciate and care for them. Beyond just a meal, he deeply desires for them to be safe, happy, and satisfied.

He checks in on them quite often, to the point that it could be annoying to anyone else. Almost every day, their phone will ring, and a soft, concerned voice will ask, "How are you feeling? Are you alright? Have you eaten? Drank water? Taken a break? Do you need something when you get home? I'll get it for you, I'll do it for you, tell me if you need or want something, I got you."

And kind of crazy headcanon, but I really think he isn't jealous at all. He not only trusts entirely in Sweetie, but also knows that there's quite literally no one that knows them like he does, that can give them what they need and desire more than anything like he can. He knows that he understands them and loves them in a way that not anyone would be capable of. So he's pretty secure in his relationship with Sweetie, which is why he allowed them to go on a "date" with that one guy in the first place. Azmidi knew, from the very beginning, even before that guy was aware of his Sweetie's existence, that this "date" was nothing more than a means to an end. This man was little more than a prop. A tool to get his Sweetie even more riled up, even more scared. And it worked perfectly, as he knew it would.

milo is usually pretty physically rough with it, going fast and deep, but you wouldn’t know that if you were just listening to his voice. sometimes while he’s absolutely fucking sweetheart’s brains out, he’s right in their ear speaking so softly and encouragingly with soooo much praise. “that’s right baby, ‘m i doin’ it right?” when he KNOWS he’s doing it right, he just wants to hear their confirmation. “yeah, lemme touch you, you like that? tell me you like that.” he looooves making sweetheart tell him how they’re feeling, and when they inevitably confirm that it feels good, he nods and doubles down. he craves good feedback, it’s his praise kink. “awwww i know it feels good baby, ‘m gonna make it feel even better.” it’s not condescending, it’s confidence. he knows what he’s good at, and he wants to get better. he’s a huge pleaser.

azmidi who literally nuts on a lot of phone call role plays with sweetie (it’s canon yall hear the way his breath shakes all the time). just hearing their pretty voice, god he feels his pants getting tighter (if he wears those lol). he demands they tell him about their day even though they know he knows exactly how their day went. it feeds into that delicious fear of stalking, the idea that their every movement is being tracked and scrutinized and constantly mulled over. he wants to listen to them talk while he palms himself, nodding along with their version of events, happy that they’re being obedient and not lying to him. he doesn’t have to take himself out of his pants, though he likes to most times. he can come without that, just dry humping into his hand and pressing the phone to his ear, letting out the occasional moan. he knows sweetie can hear him, and if they show signs of getting flustered, it only makes him harder. “you know what you’re doing to me, right? you—you know… oh god…. hey, don’t stop. don’t stop talking. you’ve been doing such a good job, sweetie. let me hear you.”

I like to imagine that Sweetie is a perfectly well-adjusted, Unempowered individual.

Always has been.

They have a good family and supportive parents with siblings whom they visit once a week for brunch. No drama. No tragic backstory.

They have a career they're proud of - informatics engineering brings you a pretty salary.

They own a house in the suburbs; with white picket fans, a manicured lawn, and those hideous pink plastic flamingos.

Their smiles are polite. Their voice demure. They sleep at 10 PM. They do meal prep every Sunday evening.

Everything about Sweetie is normal.

Boring.

Ordinary.

AND YET!

Whenever they pass by an Empowered individual, they always receive mixed reactions: lingering concerned glances from De(a)mons and confused and wary expressions from empowered humans because their instincts are suddenly screaming to them that danger is nearby, the hairs on their necks freezes due to fear, but they don't understand why.

They don't understand what's wrong with Sweetie.

He tends to keep a more “fearful” and creepy human form so it’s easier for him to feed passively, but when he’s alone with Sweetie he uses the form he’s more comfortable with…which is only slightly less creepy.

He finds creepypastas boring and unoriginal

Can’t bake nor cook but he also doesn’t like the taste of food made from magic, so he’s been learning to cook while Sweetie teaches him.

Sweetie’s an author who’s very into the 18+ category.

Azmidi doesn’t spend a lot of time on Elegy, when he’s on it he’s either feeding or spending time with Sweetie, rarely is he on it for a different reason.

Is in deep shit with the Department because Sweetie’s unempowered, hasn’t been through the classes teaching them about the Magical World, and because DUMP doesn’t approve of his ways of feeding.

DUMP doesn’t know Sweetie’s identity, they just know Azmidi revealed the empowered world to an unempowered person illegally and they can’t find who. He’s evaded arrest so many times at this point it’s insane.

There’s a lottt of conspiracies, podcast episodes, and horror stories about his disappearance on The Surge. Some have gotten close to what happened to him but his favorite theory is when someone said the FBI probably orchestrated the incident as a way to put him into witness protection, and everyone who died were criminals on Death Row who were used as collateral damage.

If someone's close to figuring out what happened to him at The Surge incident, he'll make a comment saying "We're gonna have to take you out for this."

Sucks ass at Mario games it’s so sad watching him play.

Not an astronomy geek like Elliott but one of his favorite past times when he lived in New Mexico was looking at the constellations. He can’t name a single one but he thought they looked pretty.

They’re still slightly visible in Dahlia but not nearly as much as in New Mexico.

He only went to Wonderworld as a part of the trip he and his friends went on, so he was never really used to the huge population of California compared to New Mexico until a WHILE after he was turned.

Is weirdly good at most aspects of math and loves showing off whenever he can. Lovely finds it cute and purposefully asks him questions regarding math because of it.

also i think it was a fun and interesting choice to have sweetie be the one who orchestrated the scene with the date because it gives them more agency and character besides just Being Afraid & it shows that even a normal ass human can do crazy and morally questionable shit

like, azmidi being the fear demon doesn't automatically mean he's some big scary monster who uses humans like toys whenever he feels like it, ykwim? ofc he agreed to it which makes him also accountable but sweetie's the one who thought of it and put it into motion. so it's fun to see that a) they have more of a balanced position in the relationship, and b) they are messy as fuck by involving some random guy in their foreplay and then having his memories wiped after nearly scaring him to death. erik is so right for saying he likes writing messy characters sometimes and i’m so grateful for it
