ao3 is giving me issues so I am starting some posts here!! This is the first part of a series of art/edits I've been making for the Red Bull Turkey Dinosaurs AU by @33max!!! My username on ao3 is the same as here if you're interested (and feel free to drop any feedback or ideas hehe)

This is Mr Roar's Paddock Pass. It's a custom one that's shiny and orange, and it's extra special just like Mr Roar. It was first made for Maxy to have fun with when he is little at the track, but the pass is also extra important so that everyone knows all about Mr Roar and what to do in case he is ever left alone!

the way gp said "happy?" to max at the beginning of that video is so jeep and baby max making sure he's comfy and happy and entertained during boring team stuff and seat fits and everything

Often Max is with GP when he’s little at the factory. Max loves him, Daniel trusts him, and GP loves spending time with the little guy.

When they have an important meeting GP makes sure they get there not too early, but not too late. Max doesn’t like sitting around waiting and he definitely doesn’t like being rushed.

One particular meeting, GP carries Maxy into the room. He gets Max settled and comfortable in a chair. He hands him Mr Roar and a snack. He kisses his forehead. Then he takes a seat next to Max, not taking his eyes off the boy just yet.

It’s not until they’re both settled in their seats that GP realises the whole room is watching him.

“What?” He says.

Hannah, Pedals and Jonathon smile at him, but before they can answer…

“Jeep,” Max says, tugging on GP’s shirt. “My socks are uncomfy.”

New Maxy gear!!! Sometimes Maxy likes to have friends on Air Max when they fly, so Max declares everyone joining him should have a special pass. Stuffies are very important flight companions, so it's very important that every passenger on Air Max gets a Furiend to fly with. (It's also a great excuse for Maxy to have more stuffies than Daniel would prefer on the plane.)

Maxy also loves meeting everyone else's stuffies and playing with them together. He has a whole Roardrobe (stuffie wardrobe) on the plane and lots of accessories for Spa Day.

The back of everyone's pass is how Maxy makes sure all of his Friends and Furiends have a great flight! He gives out the passes so everyone can read up on their travel buddy. Of course not all Furiends are available to guests--Mr Roar is only for Maxy and Baby Kitty can only be left with specific people and only *sometimes*.

Maxy also gets his very own schedules for Friday and Saturday. He doesn't need one for Sundays because he always goes into race day big and finishes little. The official schedule is obviously much more detailed, but the team started making cute schedules for Maxy, to help him know when he can be little and when he needs to be big throughout the day.

Maxy's choice means he gets to choose whether he is big or wants some little time, and the team is prepared with activities or meetings based on whatever Max chooses. Maxy also likes his schedules for when he knows he will need to be big--they allow him to be little without constantly worrying that he doesn't have time or needs to force himself to be big again because all the timings are worked in. And it helps relieve little Max's anxiety when he knows what to expect for the day, especially if it's something he isn't as used to like special treatment sessions with Rupert or Daniel having a conflict and staying late at the track.

'Roly says:' is where Daddy or the team can give Maxy little reminders. Roly is Brad's stuffie, and is responsible for keeping Max healthy and safe (basically the opposite of Soup). In Max's mind, Roly says the same things that Braddy says! It's customizable every day, so if Maxy is sore they can remind him to get help, or if Maxy needs to pay attention to a change that day, Roly can warn him!

Pt 2 of Maxy & Mr Roar's Paddock Gear is their matching team kit!! As Chief Protection Officer for Maxy, Mr Roar is a very important part of the team, and Maxy wants to make sure everyone can recognize him as a member of RBR. Maxy enlisted his friends from Marketing to help him make a shirt that fits Mr Roar perfectly, and of course Maxy needs a matching custom shirt so that everyone knows Mr Roar belongs to him.

Mischievous Soup heard about Maxy's shirt design plans and felt a little left out, so he left some footprints on their shirts, and Marketing helped choose some leaves for Soup to eat on there too! Daddy said Soup can't come to the garage because he will disturb big Max, but he is still a part of the team because he helped with Maxy's extra special shirts.

I’m sure you’ve gotten this a million times already, but TD max with a sand car 😭 writing his name on it and messy play destroying it 🥹😈

I actually haven't! I don't get as many asks about TD anymore because it's been so long since I posted anything substantial in the universe and I also went through a stage where I struggled to answer asks because of work etc etc. so yeah! I always always always appreciate when I get a TD ask so please never think I've already received it or I have got too many 🥺♥️

ANYWAY YES OMG!!!!

Maybe Daniel has taken Maxy on holiday to a private beach - it is just them, the sand, and the sea. Perfect for Max to enjoy the holiday in his headspace! He gets to have bottles and snuggles on the sun loungers! And Daniel spends a long time making two F1 cars in the sand for he and max to ‘race’ in… and then at the end of the day Max gets to jump all over them both and destroy them before the sea washes them away!!! At first Max doesn’t want to break them, but of course Daniel promises they can rebuild them tomorrow.

OR OR OR in the Red Bull AU, maybe the team try to have a few activations throughout the year that Max can enjoy, and that make him ready to drop as soon as he's finished. So he plays with with the sandcastle while he's big and as the activation goes on he gets more and more fuzzy and then as soon as they've finished filming he runs over to GP because “Jeep I’ve got sand in my shoe help!!!!” and then GP has to spring into action and get those shoes off of Max before he has a melt down about it 😂

Since we now have established that Christian likes to spoil Max, does it ever happen that Max is a bit cheeky and goes to Christian to ask for something on the rare occasion that Daniel tells him no? 😂

Oh absolutely 😂 it’s silly things too, like Daniel said Maxy can’t have ice cream for dinner… he needs to pick a proper dinner and then have ice cream for dessert.

Max is grumpy. He wants ice cream for dinner. Daddy isn’t being fair. So he stomps to Christian’s office.

As Maxy arrives Christian gets a text from Daniel that says Don’t let him have ice cream for dinner

And at the same time Maxy climbs into his lap and says “We get ice cream for dinner? Maxy and grandpa Christian?”

He’s incapable of saying no, Max gets the ice cream 😂♥️

red bull td au feeds my soul…any tidbits to share?

YES. I've been thinking about something this afternoon.

Max catches chicken pox.

He catches it from Hannah’s little daughter, who is off sick from school and Hannah’s husband drops by the factory with their little girl so they can give her mumma lunch. They end up bumping into Max, and taking a photo with him…

Nobody at the factory knew that Max hadn't had chicken pox before. Nearly everyone catches it as a child, they thought Max would have too.

Except he didn't.

He starts to feel sick a few days later, he's still in the factory doing a simulator day. But now he’s got a fever and a headache, and it causes him to drop. Unable to stay in a big headspace while he’s feeling so poorly.

Daniel isnt in Milton Keynes, he's in Faenza doing his own simulator days… so GP steps in to take care of the boy until Daniel can fly in.

Max is really tearful and irritable, nothing seems to be soothing him. GP has tried everything, he’s even put some paracetamol into a bottle for Max and tried to give him that. Max wouldn't even drink it.

It's only when Max starts squirming and itching, little angry red spots blistering on his usually milky skin, that GP realises it's chicken pox. Max has chicken pox. As an adult. He knows how bad that can be 😐♥️

Teammates, yes! Close friends, maybe ones not on the grid! Like Martin and Rico! 🥹

The discord and I actually spoke about how Maxy gets a little stamp kit as a gift, and one weekend he takes it on himself to give anyone walking into the energy station a stamp on their hand which “admits them” into the building. Checo comes in one day and Max is like “no stamp for you” because he’s grumpy with him and he has an agenda… daddy to race next to Maxy! Luckily Checo, an experienced dad, just laughs it off and says “Are you daddy’s number one fan, Maxy?”

Daniel blushes so red watching this whole interaction.

Checo does get a stamp eventually 😂♥️

so in light of the adrian announcement we NEED a deep dive of maxy and adrian lmao

I am no thoughts head empty at the minute 😔 but I do think that Maxy would be shielded from the news until Adrian can tell him himself. Max loves everyone in his RedBull family so much and Adrian tells him very very very gently that he won’t be around at the races anymore, because he needs to spend time with his dogs at home! He promises he will still visit Maxy so often🥺♥️

Can you please tell us more about little Max and Christian’s relationship in Red Bull AU?

Of course!

When Christian finds out Max regresses he sets up a meeting between him, Max, and Daniel to discuss how they can accommodate Max’s needs at Red Bull.

Max, with barely any thought, says “I’m happy with my drivers room now, as long as I’ve got my PlayStation I’m good.”

Both Daniel and Christian frown a little.

“Max, we want you to feel comfortable enough to be yourself here… we are willing to make accommodations.”

“I don’t-”

Christian interrupts him.

“Okay, well… why don’t you take a look at what the architect drew up for the energy station? Maybe that will change your mind.”

And it does. Because Christian has gone all out. The whole top floor of the energy station is essentially a play area. There is a ball pit, a race track for remote control cars, a tv area with bean bags etc. There is even a slide down the bottom floor.

Max looks at the plans. Then at Christian. Then at the plans.

“We’d do anything to make you comfortable, Max. Did you want to add anything?��

Anyway, Christian takes care of Max, makes sure Red Bull accommodate all of his needs, and he’s one of Max’s safe people ♥️

i haven't stopped thinking about maxy playing with his new trophy since sunday and now that I've seen the mechanics do it I'm even more certain he would be so happy with it!

So I imagine there’s two kinds of people… the ones Maxy goes to for crazy energetic playtime, and the ones he goes to for softer things.

There is a trampoline on the top floor of the energy centre and Maxy’s mechanics deliberate bounce him so high as he giggles away asking for them to do it again! again!

Hannah helps out with arts and crafts, she always brings a new set of stickers to each race as a surprise for Max. She’s very encouraging if Max makes a mistake and helps him fix it instead of breaking down or throwing his art away again 😭

GP can fit into both energetic play (he can throw Maxy over his shoulder!!!), or softer times (like when Max falls asleep on his shoulder while watching Bluey!) ♥️

The picture you re logged of max sitting in the garage listening to GP with no shoes on feels so RB Turkey Dinosaurs AU to me 🥺 like he's just a little small after being out on track all day but he feels safe enough around his team to let himself drop a little bit 😭

You’re right because it so is.

He’s not got his race boots on because they were uncomfortable and triggering his sensory issues, making him very grumpy! He kicks them off and sits with GP while someone runs around and tries to find his old boots, that they know Max is comfortable in.

In the meantime, he maxplains all the problems with the new boots to GP 😂♥️
