It's a tiny list but here we go!

A miracle performed by the uniquely dressed Takahashi heroine. Izu creates Zero Two out of love (up to interpretation) for Aruto after experiencing emotion to a degree unprecedented by Humagears (excluding Jin, who had more free will than most despite the circumstances). Tsumuri revived Ace from sadness and desperation, even yearning (though compared to Aruto and Izu, she and Ace haven't interacted a lot) as his "older sister", and Sueru confirms she's awakened reality warping powers like Mitsume

The mentality of standing alone. Zero One was about self-improvement and how it's up to the person themselves. Other people can help make the road easier but they can't always fight your battles. Geats meanwhile deconstructs this. There can only be one champion, which sets up a hostile, competitive environment that contradicts the "don't attack other Riders" clause. Maybe it'll save them from physical attacks - but not psychological and emotional. So being wary of everyone will hurt the person themselves because who can they confide to when they need help? Need someone to just listen as they pour their heart out?

Main character backgrounds. Aruto's the grandson of the creator of Humagears, Ace is the Goddess of Creation's son. Aruto views Humagear lives as no different from people's because of Soreo II, Ace spent two millennium trying to reunite with his mother who's partially why he avoids connecting with other people. Aruto's rather honest with his emotions, Ace mutes his. The common grasshopper, the ancient kitsune

Answering some other asks while we're at it:

You know, this strange idea just came to me: Ace got reincarnated into countless families for over 2000 years, right? Then, there's the possibility that he could have been reincarnated into the Igarashi family? How would have that complicated things?

While this area of imagination isn't within my forte, I don't think it'd affect - anything, really? Had he been an Igarashi, Ace would've been that distant bachelor of a cousin/uncle who disappears one day and is declared legally dead twenty years later. If it gets brought up then he'd view it with mild interest at best, toss in a joke, and move on. After all, the body that made him part of the Igarashi family tree is long gone and Ace's soul, as far as Takahashi's writing style allows it, only sees Mitsume as his real mother. Everything between then and now has been playing house for him

Personally I think Mitsume's been dead for a long time and what's left is her, uh, petrified corpse, but it doesn't change how this is the closest Ace has gotten to achieve his heart's true desire and he loses it forever and ever. All two thousand years of yearning gone down the drain. My poor kitsune... T-T

Also - the potential angst harvest at our hands? The opportunity of Ace finally opening his heart to Keiwa and Neon, and not random characters and others? As horrible as it is for me to think like this...please let the statue crumble into rubble. In exchange I'll patch him up and wrap him up in blankets to soothe the pain. Tuck in Keiwa, Neon, Michinaga and Tsumuri for good measure

Yo, I just realized this:

Ikki Igarashi is the grandson of a devil: Giff, while Ace Ukiyo is the son of a goddess: Mistume.

There ARE a whole lot of parallels one can make with this.

Now I just realized this too!! Ooh!! I'd love to really map out these parallels/differences once I get through Revice and know what things I'd give to Ikki in a personal canon. But right now - Ikki lives an ordinary life and sacrifices his memories/identity for a family who sometimes takes him for granted (and in an ideal world became Giff's "true" vessel before eventually recovering through love and selfless sacrifice from the least likely places) vs Ace cycling through countless identities and despite having almost everything others would want - power, adoration/love, fame, knowledge - he clings to a distant memory of losing a mother he barely knew as he grows numb to most of the world? *shakes Battle Royale by the lapels* Capitalize this potential

How funny would you find it if So Okuno(Sougo Tokiwa's actor) ended up becoming the main villain of the new Sentai?

Probably enough to bust a lung and choke xD Also Sou Okuno's gained more acting experience since his future overlord days and I don't keep close tabs on his filmography to know where his talents truly lie, but I think if there's one thing he can't do, it's emitting a threatening aura. Or at least I watch his amazing Oma Zi-O henshin and can't look at his screaming without a chuckle slipping out lol

You know I am totally going to hold you to that right? Well, try to pick a point in Geats, put your official showrunner/writer's hat on, make your headcanon outling from there, if your feelin up for it!

Well, it's still up to me if I want to share those ideas/headcanons and not hoard them only to forget them xD Thank you for the interest though! I'll probably share them all some day, unprovoked, and (ideally) in some fics or (realistically) a post I could drape all over the floorboards as per usual ^-^

So, say if you were in charge of outlining the rest of Geats from this point, how would you go about it?

Hold on, let me just... *tips my bucket of Geats ideas and paper floods the entire room* All this and I still have no idea what they're going to do within 6-8 episodes, let alone how I'd go about Keiwa snapping like too many twigs in a satisfying way tbh. I can only trust Takahashi with this job (side-eyeing him a little for his recent endeavours though lol). For now I'm taking what we're getting, enjoy it as much as I can, and apply my personal canon later :)

If an anon telling me "once you start Donbrothers you'll immensely enjoy it/won't be able to stop" and observing everyone's reactions to the series' happenings counts as being warned - then yes, I was. Plus I knew what to expect from an Inoue work so I'm not really shocked, per say; more like I'm in a perpetual state of (amused) bewilderment? Especially since the last three Sentai series had a couple of quirks here and there but overall played it safe in the standard formula? I mean, none of them featured *waves at Tsuyoshi and Tsubasa's totally not-the-same wife/fiancee* that so...

Another Revice and Geats compare and contrast: Both Ikki and Ace would go on to receive their final forms directly from the parent they gain their special powers from; Ikki would obtain Giffard Rex from Genta after saving his life, while Ace would unlock Boost IX right after witnessing and coming to terms with Mitsume's death.

On that thought, could there be parallels between Genta and Mistume one could make?

Another Revice and Geats parallel: Giff, as the progenitor of devils, invaded the the world and used his powers to try and shape tge world in his image in order to exploit people as livestock. Mistume, after getting forced by people to turn into the Goddess of Creation, has spent two thousand years getting exploited by them into using her powers so they could shape the world into the image others wish for.

Tacking some stuff to what you said:

The players are given animal motifs that get recycled so they're livestock too. Basically the DGP's prey - or rather the excess food they toy with until they get bored

Giff lures people outcast/failed by society into an illusionary "family", and in turn creates demons representing the evil/despised attributes of humanity; the DGP promises great rewards to desperate souls, and there's too many instances where the competition brings out the scum of their nature/discarding of morals
