I love both the MC's in this game and I'm really sad that they can't both exist in the Canon at the same time

So in my head I've already crafted an au where Kafka and silver wolf find twin stellarons that freak out and start causing disasters if you try to separate them, like the only start destabilizing and causing problems around them if they're too far apart. So Kafka and silver use both the male and female receptacles and put the stellarons inside.(maybe one receptacle simply can't handle two stellarons at once)

Stelle and Caelus really don't like being separated for some mysterious reason, like if anyone tries they both woozy and anxious and they're not exactly sure why. They do bicker like siblings though and fight over trash like raccoons.

• Stelle can’t remember if she’s ever been in a relationship before the two of you got together, so she treasures every moment she spends with you

• Picks up March’s habit of taking pictures whenever the two of you do something together. She wants to have physical memories of you if she forgets everything again. Hangs them all up on the walls in her cabin in the express

• Gives you things she finds in the trash that are interesting. She appreciates it if you let her dig around for treasures in unassuming receptacles. I think she keeps everything she finds. Even books or thrown out notes, unless they stink really bad. Then she reluctantly throws those things back

• She is content to sit in silence with you and watch the stars on the express, or to listen to you talk about whatever you’ve been reading or researching

• Stelle would be an ok cook. Don’t let her deviate from the recipe or else the food won’t be edible in the slightest

• She likes to sleep on your bed when you’re not around. It’s a little surprise for when you come back from hanging out with Dan Heng or Himeko. Snores very softly and sprawls out on the bed like a starfish. It’s hard to cuddle her honestly,,,

• She isn’t very affectionate, but will hold your hand if you’re in a busy place because she doesn’t want to lose you. She will rest her head on your shoulder when you’re either in your room or out in the parlor car, chilling. She likes sitting close to you

•Stelle is fine if you’re affectionate with her though, as long as you’re not all over her in public

• She spends a lot of time in the parlor car with Pom-Pom while the express is in motion. She tries to help them clean up but is always shooed away and comes sulking to you lmao. She just wants to help out!

• She may seem very serious but loves to tell jokes and puns to you, or anyone who will listen. Are they good? A lot of the time, no, but the way she delivers the jokes is funnier, so you laugh anyways. It makes her very happy

Honkai Star Rail: Funny Info about MC

Did you know that the Female MC and Male MC are both in the title of Honkai Star Rail? Or technically the name of the “Receptacle”, which is either Receptacle Stelle or Receptable Caelus. The “vessels”.

Honkai Star Rail’s title is 崩坏：星穹铁道

Stelle’s name is 星。

Caelus’s name is 穹。

星(Stelle)穹(Caelus)铁道

When I see their name in chinese, it’s really cute because of how simple they are, only 1 word. Stelle’s name is simple, “Star”. Caelus’ name I think depends, because 穹 can mean “Vastness”, “Vault”, “the Firmament”，but i’m going to go with Vastness.

So 星穹铁道 would be “Railway of the Vast Stars”, the path where Stelle/Caelus will tread as Trailblazers.

Or uh, well. O just think it was kinda cool.

ALSOOOOOOOO FUNNY but just realized that Pom-Pom in the CN text is actually just 帕姆，”Pàmû/Pam/Pom”. IDK why the english version decided to double the Pom for Pom-Pom. Maybe because it’s cute?

So a neat detail I’ve noticed on this part of the “White Night” 2.0 music video

So this is just a really cool pose/scene for the Trailblazer, I love it

But here’s something I’ve noticed:

So when you just look at it, you see Caelus being awesome, cool Trailblazer stuff

But if you look at this frame by frame

Boom. He turns into Stelle instead

Now I guess you could argue it’s still Caelus

But only the feral raccoon woman out of the raccoon MC’s has long hair

But if you want to argue Caelus grew his hair out in the span of three frames then shaved it again for the next scene of the video be my guest

But I find this a very awesome detail, also kinda stirs the theorist in me:

What if rather then two receptacles existing at once, it’s just one, but when “Kafka” (us) are asked to pick, we’re just choosing between two parallel versions of the Honkai: Star Rail universe, the only difference being Stelle or Caelus’ very existence, because it feels off how one is left alone just. Never heard from again after we pick-

and if that’s the case I’d like to formally apologize to women and every Stelle fan for picking Caelus and not your queen I love her two I just love the underrated goober boy just a smidge more-

And this three frame flash is a brief flash of the alternative universe of the alternate receptacle to indicate how their worlds are almost identical or that while they’re in different universes they’re connected still, like they’re the same soul or person, just different personalities

Firefly put a hand to her chest, watching the figure laying on the bed before her. Every time she closed her eyes, every time she so much as blinked, she had images of rows and rows of tanks. Each of them had her face…her fingers tightened around the cloth of her shirt. “Why…” She knew the answer to the question, of course, or as much as Elio had been able to tell her. In order to complete the script, a receptacle needed to be prepared.

Did that make it worse? A Stelleron was a massive bundle of energy; Firefly herself had been witness to how a Selleron even seemed to have a life of it’s own. It wouldn’t be at all like the Iron Calvary; the receptacle-she-didn’t have an expiration date baked in. At the same time…so far, Stellerons had brought nothing but disaster. They were objects so terrible, so devastating to the known universe, that even the flames brought by AR-26710 were a preferable alternative to allowing them to persist. Firefly couldn’t help but smile, despite the twist in her heart. “The Astral Express. You…you don’t even get to stay with us. I wonder if you’ll mind?” She wasn’t awake just yet. She would be, soon, and Kafka would start training her soon after. “But…but…” it wasn’t in the script. She even had her own script to follow. Yet… “You and me…we’re alike. We didn’t ask to start on our paths. We…” she couldn’t help but laugh a bit. “We didn’t even ask to be born, did we? Still, there’s no way we can turn away. Not even because of the script…” she shook her head slowly, moving a little closer. Even if it wasn’t for the glass, she wouldn’t be able to hear Firefly, but this still felt important. “Because it’s who are. If that wasn’t the case, I don’t think the script would even work at all. That’s why…” her voice got softer, and she bowed her head. “I have to believe…there’s more to our fates than what Elio has foreseen. That the script is just the shape of the world, not strings to control us. If that’s the case…” She looked up with a bright smile, regardless of the tear streaming down a cheek. “I’d like to be friends, Stelle. Even if it’s only for just a short time before you leave. The time between our beginnings and our endings has to belong to us. That precious time…I want to share it with you.”

...has anything in the game yet contradicted the possibility implied by the opening that receptacle stelle and receptacle caelus both actually do exist and the other one is just like, in storage somewhere? or in turn the possibility that while you're both aeon-forged stellaron receptacles, only the one selected at the start of the game was the one handed over to kafka to be trained, with the attendant stellaron hunter/memory wipe backstory?

hear me out I'm pitching non-playable caelus or stelle showing up in like 6.0 as elio's personal attendant or bodyguard, made at the same time as you but destined to play a different role in the script (why did elio make silver wolf present them both as equally possible choices to kafka? who knows we can backfill that later). ideally appearing as a recurring masked villain whose mask you eventually crack, leading to them escaping while you are stunned by seeing your heretofore unknown opposite gender twin under the mask. but i'm not picky I just want a narrative double and some alternate stellaron hunter designs for the trailblazer

  Stelle feels more alive in battle than she/they do outside of battle.  It is usually where they conclude that everything that happened prior to the battle is true.  It is a dangerous habit, and it is something Stelle keeps to themselves/herself.  There are a few people that have caught on to this.  A few of them are from outside the Astral Express crew.

Stelle goes by they/them/she/her pronouns, and does not particularly care if the people around them call her by feminine pronouns.  They do not know the label (nor care for it) for their gender, but in meta it is quite possibly on the spectrum of agender.  All that matters are the receptacles they explore along their way throughout their journey.

Stelle’s favorite trash receptacle is the one in Belobog on Jarilo-VI.  It was a pristine trash can.  Their second favorite is the one in the Administrative Quarter.  They would make a corsage out of the flowers in the trash can at the time and wear it for the festival.  However, March 7th and Stelle needed to stop by Bronya’s office.

Stelle does want to punch Sampo but keeps herself from doing so.  However, they were quite in awe over the dream of walking and talking trash cans.

They would like to give every Aeon a little kiss on the cheek, especially Nanook.  Do not ask me why this is.

One of the reasons Stelle agreed to help Kafka with Blade/Ren is because he looks a little like Nanook.  The only way one will ever find this out is if you get Stelle drunk.  She was also curious about who Kafka was trying to smuggle out of the Luofu.  The other reason is that they wanted to know why Kafka left Stelle in the space station.  Not to mention what Kafka planned to do with Stelle as the Stelleron receptacle.

Note: March 7th and Dan Heng may be privy to this information, considering Stelle trusts them to stay tight-lipped.  Stelle could have been warned about Ren from both of them afterward.  It is hard to say if Welt and Himeko know this.  They probably have a feeling Stelle is helping the Stelleron Hunters when she can, especially so in Penacony.  Considering Stelle had a previous affiliation with them, they are not surprised, but they do warn Stelle of the Hunters.

Stelle knows they should not trust the Hunters, but after knowing they had a previous affiliation with them it is hard not to help them at least a little bit.  While Stelle does not trust most of them, they trust Firefly.  Stelle does wonder what their true intentions are, but for now Stelle is focused on simply surviving.

After the events of Aventurine in Penacony, Stelle is even more hesitant to trust Aventurine.  After the events of the Belobog festival, Stelle is also hesitant to trust Topaz.

As for Acheron, the Emanator of Nihility, Stelle does trust her.

Stelle wonders how Jing-Yuan will feel about his part in the dream of Penacony.  However, the General has a lot on his plate to worry about.

No one cares, but I cannot shut up about things I've been thinking about for Star Rail for months.

I think it's so funny that the idea of travelling through space on a train should be a little silly, but I just. Immediately bought into the idea of it being the most romantic thing ever. That loading screen of the Astral Express against a starry sky with that magical music playing really did a lot of heavy lifting lmao.

I'm so fascinated by the flashes of the future Stelle gets. Is it related to the Stellaron? Is it related to her artificial body? Is it related to the Aeon that blessed her? I just don't know and I am waiting for the day they get into it.

I really love Stelle's design. Her being the tallest female character is one of my favourite things. I assume it's because it makes things easier for cutscenes if she's not significantly shorter than Caelus (honestly they should have just made them the same height, even if it's just "the same height if we include Stelle's heels", and I could have been even happier) but god it's so cute and funny that the female characters who have so much more tall energy than her, like Kafka, Himeko and Acheron, are all shorter than her. Her hair being so fluffy and looking a little messy makes her look SO cute. I really love the art for her fourth Eidolon because her hair looks extra fluffy in it.

AND GOD HER VOICE. It's a tragedy that Stelle doesn't speak more because I love her voice so much. The fact that it's that low… I loved… Stelle getting possessed in 1.5's Trailblaze Continuance just to get to hear her voice… I know there's some speculation about whether or not the receptacle that wasn't chosen is going to be a character further down the line, and if it happens I'm going to be so sad because the people who didn't choose Stelle would probably get to hear her voice more than I do lmao.

I kind of wish we didn't get to name the Trailblazers because when Aventurine calls her "Miss Stellaron" in 2.0, for a brief second I lived in a world where the voice lines could call Stelle by her name instead of "you" or whatever other placeholder they used and it was so good. Ever since I played Three Houses, I've gone more and more in the direction of "the more voice acting there is in a game and the less you can customize the main character, the more pointless it is to let you name them."

There is nothing I love more than characters appearing in another character's splash art. Silver Wolf and Blade being in Kafka's splash art fucking took me out. There is genuinely nothing that can convince me that they're not Important to her. It's a tragedy that Sam isn't also on it too. I gasped out loud the first time I used Preservation Stelle's ultimate and saw Bronya, Seele, Serval, and Gepard in the splash art. It's SO cute, I'm going to be so sad if they don't do the same thing for all the other paths too. The Astral Express being in Destruction Stelle's splash art is a similar situation because it's where her journey started and to me it represents her bond with the rest of the crew. Baby Tingyun on Yukong's. The much more subtle case of Lynx having a picture of her with her siblings in her tent.

I just really love the platonic and familial relationships in this game. The Astral Express crew and the Stellaron Hunters both have me in a choke hold. Looking at each group on its own is already A Lot (Listen, I almost cried when I heard Himeko's voice line about how she asked Dan Heng to be the Express's guard because she felt he wouldn't have stayed if he was gonna be a freeloader), but comparing both groups and seeing how they contrast but they ultimately have their own bonds with each other... And Stelle travelled with both of them at one point.

The fact that the whole Astral Express crew has those express pass pins is such an amazing detail. I almost cried when I realized they're all matching!!!! I wish they had made a separate model for Stelle and Caelus where they don't have their pin yet and then had a scene of them being given the pin after they joined... It could have been so cute...

I read through Kafka's companion mission again the other day and oh my god, I can't believe I forgot that she plays the truth and lies game with Silver Wolf all the time. I need to go lie down on the ground over these two constantly playing a game that kind of inevitably leads to getting to know each other better.

I also love her mentioning that if she and Blade had been thrown into prison, Sam and Silver Wolf would have broken them out. Please, I'm in shambles. Yes, they would have broken them out just because they needed to, but also. I really do believe there's this deep trust they all have for each other. If I think about it, I don't know if I would say the Stellaron Hunters love each other, I certainly don't think any of them would say it except maybe Kafka in a teasing way, but I do think they all care about each other in their own way.

There is Something that really gets me about the fact that all the Stellaron Hunters, including presumably Elio, went to go pick up Silver Wolf from Punklorde. Like, Kafka and Sam both going to get Blade makes sense logistically because they needed Sam to restrain him and Kafka to calm him down, but Silver Wolf? Who Kafka specifically said wasn't chosen for being good at fieldwork? Why did they all go to get her? I don't know, it just makes me really emotional for some reason.

The Landaus have such a fun dynamic between the three of them. It's so cute how Serval and Gepard both worry about Lynx, Gepard more so than Serval, and it annoys her but she also loves them both. For most of Serval's companion mission I was just like "🥺 Gepard just doesn't want his big sister to leave." The light cone???? Of Serval and Gepard when they were kids??? Serval defending her brother because she knew he didn't do anything wrong???? Also, something about how it's a Preservation light cone, but Gepard, the Preservation character, is the one being defended. Gepard's idle animation where he's humming Serval's song????

The inherent tragedy of Jing Yuan's relationship with Yanqing because he's raising him to be strong enough to kill him one day…

Dan Heng's interactions with Bailu in his companion mission were sooooo good and I hope they expand on it more in the future. It was really sweet that Dan Heng was so concerned about Bailu and now he has a new little sister. I love that they have this bond with each other because they're the only ones who can even remotely understand the weight of the expectations everyone puts on them because of Dan Feng. The CG in that companion mission was Everything to me. Dan Heng's speculation that he inherited Dan Feng's destructive powers and Bailu inherited his healing powers is so interesting if it's true. When I read Bailu's character stories and it said they were waiting until her coming of age ceremony before giving her the title of Imbibitor Lunae, it really hit me like a truck. I'm so curious about whether years down the line, as the story on the Xianzhou continues, we'll eventually get a Bailu Inhibitor Lunae. I just think it would be so cute if Bailu and Dan Heng had units with matching titles…

I had zero thoughts about Sunday, good or bad, besides being like "excuse me?" about the shit he said at the end of 2.0, but they showed the light cone with baby Sunday and Robin in the 2.1 stream and I was just like, oh noooooo, it's so cute, he loves his little sister so much.

I'm obsessed with the "Elio is the cat" theory. Is the leader of the Stellaron Hunters being a cat absolutely ridiculous? Yes, but I love the idea of the leader of this group of space criminals being a cute black cat too much. Even if the cat (tragically) isn't Elio, I still think it's like, connected to him or meant to represent him whenever it shows up. Release more light cones so Silver Wolf and Blade also have art with the cat.

I love the text message system so much. It's such a fun way to give characters some extra characterization and make them feel more alive. The peak example of that will always be the fact that Blade's text messages are all sent by the other Stellaron Hunters. Blade not sending messages would have already been like. Yes, this lines up with his character, but the fact that not only does he not send messages, but literally everyone except Elio (and honestly if every character had four daily messages instead of three I would bet Elio would have sent one too) uses his phone to send messages gives a little extra insight into the dynamics between the Stellaron Hunters.

Hi, i hope you're still accepting suggestion. How about the reverse of Sick for the First Time for Group Sickfic? Instead of Stelle being sick, everyone around her are. Maybe Stelle brought home some inedible food from some trash can and then March, Dan Heng, Welt, and Himeko just ate it without thinking?

Also, this is just a personal request of mine, but do you mind writing Unconventional Receptacle for Furina? Let's say it's her first time riding the aquabus, hundreds of years ago, with Neuvillette. She wasn't used to the gentle swaying of the bus, so she started feeling dizzy and slowly got sick overtime. In the end, she can't keep her meal down, but instead of asking for her colleague's help, she instinctively used her hat.

hsr 1.2 spoilers, theory/speculation about caelus/stelle basically

y'know that scene where the MC just... stays silent. doesn't want to talk at all. i'm surprised i haven't seen anyone else mentioning this yet, but i think MC doesn't talk because we're not in control of them at the moment. so, it's not that MC just doesn't want to talk -- they just CAN'T. because the way the storytelling is being played, we play from two different character perspectives. and for a moment, we are separated from our MC, who relies on us to speak.

like, this game has fourth wall breaking themes written all over it. kafka? elio scripting everything? sampo? all the fun, witty dialogue options MC gets? all the trash in belobog interactions? they're for the player. MC is a vessel for us. realistically, MC knows nothing. there's no way they know things like fight club references from our world, or the metaverse. but they know because we know -- and the game knows that too. everything about caelus/stelle is a vessel for the player to experience the world of HSR. even kafka and elio, the existence of the two receptacles... their plan in-lore feels aware of the existence of the player -- all of this is orchestrated just to give us a great RPG adventure.

so when this MC, whose entire being is just a receptacle for the player, is separated from the player, they can't speak. they're just... an empty vessel, with no character of their own. HSR is just so absolutely genius in taking the "self-insert" to the extreme by incorporating it as part of the thing that haunts the narrative -- the fourth wall and "fate;" the "script" that elio writes.

usually in games with a self-insert, non-speaking MC (aside from dialogue options), that MC is not very strong compared to the other characters. but in HSR, caelus/stelle hold just as much narrative weight and writing strength as the others by playing into this exact trait to its ultimate maximum. all the silly things caelus/stelle can say; all the reasonable things they can say -- that's a prediction of what kind of dialogue options players would want in a game, and then giving it to them. you aren't isekai'd, you aren't an everyday person who tagged along for the journey -- you are literally playing as the interface for you, the player.

As such, her friends, March 7th (because I also headcanon that March’s body temperature runs colder than the average human because of her being trapped in six-phased ice for a long (?) time.) and Dan Heng, (He is a Vidyadhara. Vidhyadhara=dragon-like species. Dragons are basically reptiles, and reptiles are cold-blooded animals. Also a headcanon btw hehe.) hugged close to her when setting foot upon the cold planet of Jarilo-VI. 

ᯓ★Due to the symbiosis between her and the Stellaron, the Stellaron now functions as her heart in a way. Say, if it were forcibly removed, somehow, she would die.
