thanks to everyone who responded to my panicked posts yesterday!

I was getting a little “ahhhhh” because my hands and face were going numb, but my doctor today said that there are two kinds of nerve damage from mono: one is VERY SERIOUS, and one is troublesome but (if it doesn’t progress) can be just a mild annoyance that goes away over time. thankfully, I seem to have the mild version.

so, not great! we don’t love nerve damage! but it’s nothing immediately dangerous.
