(It had been a long day tending to the facility’s spa. Ray had taken over for the place by himself, as Ernesto was currently on tour.

Not that Ray minded! He loved getting the chance to run the place on his own. It was far easier than he expected, and it felt good knowing he was helping his teammates relax. Everything had gone smoothly...well, there was that time he’d walked in on Jesse and Hanzo in the hot tub together.

He did get to join in though, so he considered that a win.

Genji snarls when the woman mentiones his past life. It hurt enough already knowing that he would never go back to the easy-going life style that he had had before. Both women and men had been eager to get into bed with him, to have a piece of him. He didn’t care back then if that was because they found him attractive and he actually had been a good bed partner of if they simply wanted to boost to others about having slept with the younger Shimada brother.

“What I need is my humanity back. But that is not possible. And no, I’ve not been fooling around with McCree”, he replies, his temper already rising again. He did not want to have this conversation right now. There was nothing that could bring him release if he couldn’t even get it up!!

Genji didn’t think much of the blood on him. He was a weapon, after all. Weapons got coated in blood. It was their natural state. And Genji had charged in today, through the guards of his target, allowing Gabriel to point him in the right direction and let him off the leash. 

Sometimes, Genji thought Gabe wanted him to keep his pent up energy focused on the enemy. 

It wasn’t a challenge. 

But today, he had no real desire to get the blood off no matter how it caked his hair and stuck to his exposed skin, gummed up his joints. It all felt...pointless. Like it didn’t matter. Who cared what he looked like, after all? He was just a toy, a wind-up murder machine to be trotted out for investors and bloodshed.

Riptide was cracking under the pressure on this mission; Ernesto could hear it just in his breathing. Running to the mic that Winston was at, no one could believe it that the rockstar was able to shove the giant gorilla aside to get control of the mic. "Ray, you are the strongest person I know. (Ray was overcome with panic, the mission appearing to go south at an increasingly alarming rate.

He began to hyperventilate and shake as his eyes teared up. He’d screw up the mission, then he’d be tossed from the team for being a liability. He’d have no one. He’d have nothing.)

Ray: (Voice filled with panic) “I messed everything up, ‘Nesto! I’m not smart, I’m not skilled and I’m not strong!” (His hands found themselves burying his face) “What if I make things worse?”

Coming back to Overwatch had felt difficult in the beginning. Genji saw a few faces that he still recognised from before but there weren’t a lot. His master’s presence in the base made it easier for the cyborg. Walking down a hallway, just coming from a small meeting Genji was surprised to see another omnic, currently talking to a man and seemingly given instructions. He approaches and waits for the conversation to end before he turns to the omnic. “Hey, I don’t think we’ve met. I am sorry if I seem a bit forward but I am simply surprised to see another omnic here, apart from Zenyatta. My name is Genji Shimada”, he introduces himself and offers his hand in greeting.
