What I expected: Angsty asks about Wukong being left alone, having to wait over a thousand years for Xiaodie to come back only to find out that he has no choice but to fight her when LBD takes her as a host.

What I got: Crack content. Mari going through her rebellious phase in her early twenties.

Not that I'm complaining because it made me realize something about Mari. I've always imagined Little Mariposa was the good kid, the angel child of her siblings, rarely getting in trouble. Going on the journey changed her a lot, which is ironic because that journey is meant to be about gaining redemption. Instead, it made a rebel out of her (but that's not entirely a bad thing).

Her acting up by the time she 20 is an anomaly. Her entire family thinks that she's gone mad, especially when she just up and leaves the country without telling anyone.

I haven't shared abt my ocs in so long, i'll be honored!!

(Even tho i don't really have any art on these guys and i haven't given them much thought in a long ass time... meh)

So!! My idea for these guys came by thinking "man... it'd be really cool to have an animatronic band in my country (Argentina)" bc we don't have any of that here. So all these guys are pretty much argentine, and would sing mostly songs for here (and generally songs from latinamerican artists), with most being animal species commonly found here too!! (Most, not all)

There were 5 of them:

First off, Silvia, the pianist!! She would be a dog (poodle, to be specific) in her 40s. She'll be a complete old diva, dressing with very expensive and elegant ballroom-like clothing, which was meant to fit with her playing a grand piano. The idea for how she'll look like on-stage would be her being in a bit of a 3/4ths angle to the audience, so the piano was more visible. I was kind of inspired by actual argentine actress Mirta Legrand and Susana Gimenez while thinking of her!!

Then there was Tamara, the lead guitarrist!! She was a black cat and more of a rebel type, fitting her instrument, and in her mid 30s. She would dress in a bit of grunge fashion, with an old flannel over an old band shirt, ripped jeans, boots etc. She was meant to be a foil to Silvia, with her being very proper and elegant while Tamara was messy and casual about everything. On stage, she would even be sitting on Sil's piano, facing the audience more directly. Her guitar would be all black and red with a few stickers on it even.

Then there was the Actual Old Guy of the team, Don Sergio (Note: Don as in, 'Mister' but more casual) he's a Tatú Carreta (AKA a Big armadillo) in like, his 70s or so. I even envisioned him with a grey beard and the whole thing. He would be dressed like a gaucho, with a big ol hat and pancho, boots, etc. He would play an acoustic guitar, meant to sound more 'melancholic' and stuff. He was very much a grandfather type, more focused on playing tango and charreras. On stage, i saw him sitting on like, a log with a whole mate set up by his side

Then, there was the youngest guy, Ciro!! He was a carpincho (capybara) on his teens, 15/16 yrs old!! He'll be the baterist, and be sarcastic and bit of a joker, but still a very sweet kid underneath it all. He would wear very typical, but still modern-ish clothes, a coya hat and a sweater of llama wool, both green like his drum set. He'll have his whole little space on stage, with some fairy lights behind him and the band's name spray painted on the bass drum (i did never give the whole group a name tho).

Then, there was Iliana, the bassist!! She was a Aguará Guazú (Maned Wolf) on her 20s. She was pretty high-energy and easily excited, very friendly and outgoing generally. She would dress very colorfully, i hadn't really thought about it as much but she would def wear bali pants. Her bass would also be brightly painted. On stage, she would be standing, one of her feet resting on the amplifier.

That's everything i had for them, basically!! It's been years since i thought of them, but it was nice to revisit these ideas!!

The Grand Treehouse of Maplewing Forest

I’d say that Maplewing Forest falls under the category of simple, pretty, and underrated. In all honesty if you’re not a scenery person, you probably wouldn’t find it too appealing. But for someone who likes looking at scenery, it’s a nice place to check out, take a walk around, and find a place to lie down on a blanket and chill.

To me, I think the appeal of the forest is how the colors scream autumn. There’s a lot of warmth - reds, oranges, golds, yellows, browns - even the climate give of autumn vibes. To experience cooler temps during a hot summer feels refreshing. The heat hasn’t been good to me these past few days at the camp so being out here has been good.

Before heading to the Grand Treehouse, Daisy Jane and I stopped at Rosevine for a couple days to meet up with Team Magic. It’s too bad that Almie and Pippa couldn’t make it but they have more pressing matters at hand that need to be done. What a shame - and bad timing too with Pippa supposed to be going off to college soon - but hopefully things will work out. Truth be told, it’s not really unexpected, kinda like preparing for the worst but hoping for the best sort of thing.

Right now Pippa says she feels okay so that’s a good sign. She also says her doctor’s pretty good so she trusts her fully, especially since she was immediately upfront to Pippa about her latest test results. Nothing is certain yet but the fact that her doctor caught on that Pippa might be heading for a relapse that early on is a good thing. Almie’s been on edge but if Pippa says she’s in good hands, then she’s in good hands. It might mean something, it might mean nothing, but whatever the outcome, Pippa’s bracing herself for what comes next.

It was Mariposa and Hunter’s idea to visit the Maplewing Forest as they both need to gather some leaves and twigs from there. I don’t know Hunter too well aside from how he and Mariposa didn’t see eye to eye on many things at first. He was once part of the coven - the same one Cassie left on bad terms with - as in he’s the nephew of the head, but due to a bunch of circumstances, he’s completely cut ties with them. As in he literally had to flee for his life and had one too many close brushes with death.

The more I hear about the coven, the more I’m convinced that it’s a glorified cult. Willow, Emmy, and Eddie’s parents are associated with that group too - at least their mother still is. No one knows for sure yet but there’s rumors going around that their father walked out and might be planning to file for divorce. The three don’t know anything for sure but they said he’s been making an effort to reach out to them and make amends so it looks like it might be true. For now other than checking in on the kids he seems to be laying low so that kinda confirms it. If so, then good for him.

Hunter’s had it rough, to put it simply. Aside from that, now that he’s away from a toxic and abusive environment, he’s been doing a lot better. For now he’s been crashing with Luna, Skully, and Mariposa and taking things slow. He was gonna run off with one of his uncle’s advisors who deflected with him, only for that to fall through for totally unfair reasons. And it’s not just that guy, it’s a group of other rebels as well who basically dropped Hunter despite the fact that it literally cost him a limb to make sure they made it out alive.

Out of all his close calls with death, Hunter said that one was the worst. Somehow he had a feeling that he wasn’t gonna able to bounce back like all the other times and in a sense he was right. His powers have gone haywire similar to what happened with Luna and Cassie, plus he lost one leg and while the other was spared, it’s been badly injured. To those people, now Hunter’s seen as excess baggage, so they dropped him. The worst part is that he says he’s been through worse with his uncle, not to mention that it wasn’t too surprising considering how they treated Mariposa and Luna.

I’m aware that he’s seen and endured a lot of shit but like wow, this guy’s got it so bad that being tossed aside when he’s no longer useful is considered a good thing for him. Maybe it helped that he kinda expected it - to be honest, he never got along with them so the extent of their connection is using each other as a way out. For someone who’s been through hell - probably literally on some occasions - I think Hunter’s doing all right.

In fact, this trip’s the first time Hunter has left Rosevine since he got there. He would’ve gotten back on his feet sooner if complications hadn’t happened but obviously that’s out of his control. A couple weeks ago he finally got his prosthetic, which was supposed to happen sooner but his remaining leg took much longer to heal than expected. Now he’s able to get around with crutches, which is a huge upgrade for him, and it looks like he’s gotten the hang of them. He says he has to since it looks like he’ll be using them for the rest of his life and he’s accepted that.

That’s part of the reason why Hunter was interested in Maplewood Forest. The wood from the trees not only have magical properties, they’re also super sturdy. Luna and Cassie are gonna help make him a pair of crutches since the wood’s magic is similar to his so not only it’ll help him get around, it’ll also alleviate some of the pain inflicted by various curses he’s been affected by over the years.

Right outside of the forest is a place called the Grand Treehouse of Maplewing Forest. Luna, Mariposa, and Hunter know the two who run the place and they’re an odd bunch. To explain, let me go a bit into the treehouse’s background.

A long, long time ago, the treehouse was once a castle, or so they say. In other words, it’s kinda like a historical sight and the same family has lived there for generations. The current generation is three siblings, Dave, Kanda, and Didi. The three are an odd bunch and not too long ago there was some big drama regarding ownership of the place that blew up on social media when Didi though it was a good idea to publicize the drama in hopes of making people side with her. Spoiler alert it made everyone look bad.

A couple people I know were unwittingly dragged into that drama - Luna, Mariposa, Emmy, and Manda - and in all honesty, it was basically clown on clown type of thing. What happened was that not too long after Kanda turned 21, she and Dave decided to kick Didi out of the business. They were in the right to do that as Didi did absolutely nothing to take care of the place, which was why their parents left it to Dave instead of her when they went off traveling. From what I’ve heard, Didi’s not easy to get along with and she’s basically a spoiled brat who thinks she’s the center of the world. So she threw a fit over the fact that she can’t live off the money her siblings rightfully earned - not that it makes much of a difference since the family’s loaded anyway and the treehouse isn’t actually as lucrative as Dave makes it out to be.

Then Didi makes a fool of herself by complaining on social media, thinking that when she goes viral people will automatically take her side. It blew up and then Dave and Kanda fought back, making themselves look bad in the process. Mariposa and Luna were roasting the three on the server while the rest of us were being amused by the whole thing. Like it’s three grown ass adults fighting like middle schoolers over a treehouse - it’s kinda embarrassing but it’ so ridiculous that you can’t help but pull out the popcorn and figure out who’s gonna self destruct first.

That being said, the treehouse really is a nice place to stay in, but it’s no grand castle. No one knows why Dave keeps plugging the place as something spectacular as if it’s some fancy five star hotel or something when in reality it’s just a humble but charming abode near the forest. After meeting the guy and getting to know him a bit, I get what Hunter and Luna mean when they say he’s a nice guy but also kinda infuriating.

I don’t wanna say that Dave is delusional or a liar but he seems like the kind of person who’s really out of touch with reality. I mean, he’s from a super rich family so that kinda explains it, but it’s like you can’t wonder what exactly goes on in his head. Hunter even went on to say that with all the stupid shit Dave does, it’s honestly a miracle that he’s survived to his thirties, which sounds kinda hard but I can get what Hunter means by that.

Kanda, by many accounts, is very unhinged but is also the sane one in the family. She’s basically the feral gremlin kid who grows up to be a terrifying force so most people try to avoid her. Aside from that, she’s the most reliable out of the three so once you get past her eccentricities, she’s the one who actually gets shit done without overcomplicating things. Not the nicest person to be around but she does keep to her word.

Thankfully I haven’t run into Dave and Kanda too much - good thing Luna warned me ahead of time on what to expect. Aside from that, I’d say they’ve been doing a good job running the place. It’s no grand castle but it’s definitely an upgrade from a motel. The place is kinda in the middle of nowhere but it serves its purpose as a stopping point for those traveling a long way, plus it’s worth checking out for the forest. The treehouse is modest, comfortable, and safe and sometimes that’s all there is to it.

It’s been nice getting lost in the forest surrounded by reds, oranges, and golds. With the weather back home being so hot and humid I’ve been staying indoors trying to stay cool and making sure I don’t hack up a lung or something. If I had to pick a lesser of the two evils I guess I’d pick high temps over humidity because sweat is gross but it’s whatever while asthma exacerbations don’t always resolve itself and I don’t wanna deal with that.

I’ve been spending my time hiking and chilling out on a picnic blanket. After deliberating over it for a long time, I’ve finally gotten started on knitting the ballerina wrap top. So far it’s been going well and raglan isn’t as intimidating as I thought. I’ve also been careful in making sure I have the right number of stitches and aside from one miscount that I easily fixed, I haven’t had any issues.

(Protip: instead of counting all the stitches at once, count by sections where the stitch markers are! Not only it makes counting easier but you also make sure the sections are even as well! I feel like this is basic common sense but for some reason my brain never registered it until now…anyway I should write it down so I remember in the future)

The weather’s so great out here, I could just sit and knit all day while surrounded by maple leaves.

Life is a bitch, but Marinette is the bigger one

Marinette wanted to throw herself of the Eifel Tower. It wasn’t because she was bored, heck no! She did much better stuff, when she‘s bored. But after this shitty day, she just wanted to sleep. Forever.

Let‘s start in the morning. A new school year, a new start. She put her hair in boxer braids, just because it looked amazing with her new leather jacket and the sunglasses her Nona gifted her a few weeks ago. She wore red and black today, combined her sporty but rocky outfit with a golden necklace.

It was a good morning, she sleept more than three hours, but still finished another project of hers. She wasn’t late, well, she was, but not that late. But it wasn’t entirely her fault. And old man was almost runned over by a car. She helped him, not because she cared, she didn’t want to come in a mess. Her teacher, Mme. Bustier just sighed, when Marinette walked in the middle of the lesson in the room. Normally she would protest and punish her student, but Marinette was on the top of class and doesn’t listen to authorities. At all.

Marinette nodded at Chloé, fist bumped Alix and Kim, who grinned at her. She sat besides her best friend, Alix and ignored Bustier‘s request to sit next to the new girl.

“Well, that‘s just rude.“ Chloé scoffed at the redhead love child of Harry Potter and Hermione Granger.

“That‘s Dupain-Cheng for you. Don‘t piss her off, you‘ll reget it.“

“Geez, I feel the love there, Barbie girl.“ The blonde rolled her eyes, but tried to hide her smirk. She would never admit it, but the two were friends. Somehow.

“Marinette, we talked about this-“ The said girl just snorted and waved her off.

“Yeah, yeah. I need to be more respectful bla bla bla, I need to be in time, some more bla bla. I still don‘t care. Just 'cause we talked about some shit, doesn’t mean I’ll do it.“ Marinette smirked at her teacher, who just sighed and continued with her lesson.

“Yo, Mariposa. What‘s up with Barbie?“ Marinette leaned against a wall, her wall, her place. Everybody in the school knew, that this was her spot. From there she could see nearly everything. Like Chloé‘s pissed and somehow sad face. Rose stopped walking, Juleka besides her and went to Marinette.

“Hey Marinette! I think Chloé waited for a friend, but he didn‘t come. It‘s so sad!“ Rose got tears in her eyes, while Juleka mumbled something.

“Ah, yeah. Totally forgot 'bout this. Thanks, Mariposa. Rock zombie, take care of the Rose fairy.“ Marinette didn‘t wait for an answer and stalked towards Chloé. While she never met this Adrien Agreste, she knew enough. His father was an asshole, a big one and Chloé hated him wholeheartedly. Even her mother, the big bad bat of the fashion world seemed to reget to make him famous. One day, she will punch Gabriel Agreste in his face. Just because. And his desings weren’t even that good.

“Barbie, we need to talk. Now.“ Marinette took of her sunglasses and stared at her friend.

“Yes. Sabrina, wait here!“ The two girls walked back to where Marinette came from, to the wall. And as everybody knew, that this was her spot, they also knew, that this was now a private conversation. If you tried to listen, you’ll die.

“Spill the tea, sissy.“ Chloé sighed and crossed her arms, while Marinette began to munch some blueberries.

“Adrikins should‘ve come to school, but he just wrote me. He will spend another year in homeschooling! Do you belive that? Maybe I can convice Daddy to do something....“

“Big Agreste is such a bitch. You want me to slap him?“ The blonde snorted, she knew Marinethe would do that.

“While I would absolutely enjoy this, Dupain-Cheng, just like many others, it doesn’t solve the problem.“ Marinette hummed in agreement. Gabriel Agreste was powerful, but she also had connections. Big problem, she was still a 'kid', Big Agreste would totally blame this on her.

“I could talk with B, ya know. Timboy would love to blackmail someone. Maybe Lucifer could take out his katana, if you want.“

“I still have no idea, how you became friends with the fucking Wayne‘s, Dupain-Cheng.“

“Well, Barbie, this goin‘ to be my secret. Forever“, grinned Marinette.

“You want me o to a magical girl transformation and fight against big rocky rebel Thor?” The fairy, Tikki, nodded

Marinette snorted. “Yeah, not happening.“

“What? But-“

“We’re not having this discussion right now, lil’ bug. But I promise you, I’m no hero material.”

“But your friend is in danger, whole Paris is in danger-”

„Listen here, little fairy. I‘m doing this only one time and then you take me to this Guardian dude. I definitely need to talk with him about his choices.“ Tikki nodded and becan to explain everything.

Marinette, in her Ladybug suit, wanted to kill this Hawkmoth dude. Seriously, Hawkmoth? Couldn‘t he pick a better name like her? She named herself Lady Red, because fucking shit no- what was this costume? And the choice of the weapon? She really needed to talk with this Guardian. And then Chat Noir. Oh boy- who gave him the power of destruction? When he started to flirt with her, she almost snapped. Well, she did, but it didn’t help.

When she finally defeated Stoneheart, she will totally make a new nickname for rebel Thor now, she walked to a reporter and his camera man.

„Listen, you creepy Hawkmoth dude. I have no idea, why you doing this shit, but I know some heroes and I‘m definitely calling Red Hood to beat some sense in you. And B-man, ya know, the scary big bat of Gotham. He will totally find out who you are and send you to Arkham... because what the fuck? You use a kid for your plans? Are you dumb?“

When she finally talked with the Guardian, who was the old man in the morning, she really wanted to kill herself now. She talked with Damian, who panicked (he tries to denying it), just like all her other friends, who didn‘t life in Paris. Alix was sitting in her room, when she came back and told her, she choose a badass name.

“How did you know?” Alix snorted and looked amused. 

“I know how you talk, Mari. I’m pretty sure, Chloé knows too. So, no surprise there.”

She really wanted to sleep now.

It took Marinette a week to defeat Hawkmoth, who was revealed as Gabriel Agreste. She had some help, but the Big dumb Agreste didn’t even really try to hide his villian persona. Really, butterflies in the logo? Buying all the butterflies farms in Paris? And all the shit for his almost dead wife. It turned out, the peacock miraculous just needed to be fixed, which was easy for the Guardian, who she named old turtle. 

It also turned out, that Adrien Agreste was chosen as the wielder of the Cat Miraculous, but wasn’t a true holder, not like her. Old turtle took the ring back, but let her keep Tikki and the earrings. She started to patrol in Paris, trained with the Batfam and went on some missions with the Young Justice or the Titans. 

Her life became more chaotic, but did she care? Nah, not really.

My name is Darcel Butterfly. I was reading a book while drinking coffee carefully at a cafe on Earth. Sometimes I visit the village called Echo grek on earth when Mewni work is hard or drink coffee at a cafe. I opened a book and read it carefully. It's a book written by the Earthlings...Let's see. It's called "Knowledge is Power." As this book says, knowledge means a strong power over my royal authority. I declared myself emperor, subjugating all the Mewni kingdoms. In the history of Mewni, I could not accept the queens who sat on the sidelines of magic and talked about peace themselves. Before I was born, Moon Butterfly was so weak that she was invaded by monsters around her and they have some treason in Mewni. Peace cannot protect everyone and we must be strong. How can I say it's for everyone and for the sake of sitting on the sidelines? Both my mother and Eclipsa are weak.Especially the Luminous .What? Magic is for everyone? That's ridiculous! This strong power must rule everyone so that peace can come.

The earth was a very peaceful place.This place, where there are no magic and monsters, but only the people of the earth, was useless to Mewni, and if he invaded it, it would be a waste of his national power. This place where science and technology are primitive is fine even if it is just a vacation.

Looks like she is looking for someone...What kind of person is he? I picked up the paper that fell on the ground and looked at it out of curiosity. By necessity or by chance it was a missing poster of my father Marco Diaz.

"...funny."

I threw away the paper and went my way. The weak man is already dead. How can she find him? i must leave..this is wasting my time. But suddenly someone talk to me

"Hi! I've never seen you before. Where are you from?"

She talked to me. I don't even know who she is, but she talks to me not because of hostility, but because of curiosity, I turn around and answer her with a smile.

"I often come to this town. It's my first time seeing you."

Then suddenly she looked at me with surprise. And said someone's name.

"S...Star?"

"My name is Darcel, you must have mistaken me for someone else."

"Oh...I'm sorry! You really look like someone...How can you be so alike?"

"Who are you looking for?"

"I called her Star Butterfly, when I was still in school and...With this guy, Marco Diaz."

He handed me the paper and saw his face again, what the hell is he looking for my father? i need to question her more, Resistance? Or connections?

"Excuse me, may I ask your name?"

"Oh, my name is Jackie Lynn Thomas!"

Ah... I think I know who it is, it's a friend of my mother and father, it looks like my father's ex-girlfriend in the diary.It's a great friendship to still find him.

"You and I are going to be really close friends. If you're curious, why don't you come to Echo Creek Academy? I'm teaching there! I think you'll make a lot of friends."

"I think I've made a good friend, thank you very much."

Then suddenly someone called Jackie, a black, dot-shaped woman was singing Jackie.

"Aunt Jackie! Have a meal! My parents are looking for it!"

"Mariposa! Hold on! I'll be right there! Then call me later! Here's my number! See you next time. Bye!!!"

She drove away with a woman named Mariposa. And while I was on my way, someone appeared when the portal suddenly opened.

"Lord Darcel"

One knights with black armor appreared from portal, he kneeled down in front of me

"Toffee... report, I hope it's good news."

"We've got a movement of the Resistance, it's like they're heading for a future city."

"...Send Darcelian Knights."

"yes, Lord Darcel. General Kelly is wating for your order and...My lord, I had the indiscretion to use magic to listen, and you were talking to someone.Who is she?"

"Put surveillance on that woman, for the rebels may one day visit her,"

When did they arrive: Her first visit was in 1874, about a year and a half after she joined the hunters.

When were they claimed: She wasn’t claimed, but she joined the Hunters when she was 18, back in 1873.

How did she join: She was in a cell, after being captured by the Spanish military. She had been there for 4 days when she was visited by Artemis. They had found out who she was and had found her mother and siblings. They threatened to hurt them if she didn’t tell them everything she knew about the rebel army’s plan. She was praying to anyone who would listen, to help her save her family, when Artemis appeared and offered to let her join the hunters and that together they could save her family. She hasn’t regretted it since.

Opinion on the new cabins: she is neutral.

Why? : this is like the only thing she is neutral about. It’s not really her world, so she doesn’t feel right getting all high and mighty about it.

Opinion on Lyssa: Now she has a lot of opinions on Lyssa. She believes that no one should tell someone that they don’t belong. It pissed her off and she may want to hit her.

Story

Marisol was born in Cuba in 1855 to a wealthy Cuban born farmer and his wife. She was the eldest of seven children. She was 13 when the 10 years war began. Her father joined the rebel army, fighting for their country's independence. 2 years into the war, her father was killed in action. This devastated her whole family.

Marisol wanted continue to help the revolution, even though her father was gone, so she disguised herself as a man and ran off to fight for the rebel army. She fought in the rebel army for 3 years before she was caught by the Spanish. They laughed at her, when it was revealed she was a woman; and locked her up, believing she would be easy to break, since she was a woman. She was questioned by them for days on end. They even were able to find out who she was, and therefore her family.

It was that night, after they threatened her family, that she met Artemis. She prayed to anyone who would help her save her family. Her prayers were answered by Artemis. She appeared in the cell, and made her an offer. If she swore off love and promised her allegiance to Artemis, she would become one of her hunters, and would be granted abilities that would help her protect her family, as well as immortality. She promised to help her fight these injustices, and promised that if she was willing, together they would fight to protect innocents, and for independence. She agreed quickly, and became a hunter of Artemis.

With the help of Artemis and her newfound sisters, she was able to save her family, helping them escape to America, New york specifically, where they would be safe.

It was hard to say goodbye. Her family was devasted, they hadn't heard from her in years, since she joined the rebels, and they thought they got her back, only to have her leave again. She knew it was for the best, that the life they expected her to lead was not what she needed. She still visited at least once a year, as she watched her siblings grow, and then their children, and then their children's children. They still tell stories of the great great aunt, their protector.

She has now been with Artemis for almost 150 years, and has proven herself time and time again to be a loyal sister to the goddess and the hunters. She finds comfort with her new family.

My Top 10 Favorite Star vs the Forces of Evil Characters

I’m not going to do my other countdowns just yet because I feel like I should re-watch the whole series first which I’ll probably enjoy. Going down the list of characters and really thinking about which I liked and loved, I realized a critical error:

I don’t have ten favorite characters.

I know it sounds weird. This is my favorite cartoon ever, but I can’t name ten characters I like? It’s an odd case. Several characters I did like fell from my favor and some just never hit that level. I assure you, these characters I don’t just like. I love. So let’s do this again. This time it’s

My Top 10 Spectacular 7 Favorite Characters from Star vs the Forces of Evil

7. Bork & Grobb aka Teen!Mariposa & Teen!Meteora

Two characters take one slot and you can’t fill a top ten list? My list. Besides it’s like when you’re asked to name your favorite wrestlers and you name a tag team. They’re together as a unit and so are these two. We only saw them for one episode, but they left a big impression. So much so that people are asking for a spin-off starring these two. Bork (Mariposa) is an eager fighter while Grobb is a more short-tempered magic user. Their dynamic has a lot of potential and was fun to watch. It’s almost like they were teasing us.

6. Janna Ordonia

A lot of people love Janna banana. I do too. There are just other characters I like more. The author of her own weirdness, Janna brings a different dynamic to the cast. She’s not a fighter, so she can’t really help in combat situations but her creative way of thinking has helped Star and Marco. Plus, she is just entertaining. She makes you want to watch her interact with every character just to see how she’d act. And it’s always fun to watch her tease Marco.

5. Buff Frog

Character development can be a crazy thing. A guy can start off as a stupidly named henchman and end up Adam McArthur’s favorite character. No, really. Buff Frog’s character change from devoted henchman to devoted father made for some endearing and some very entertaining moments. He has become so well liked that he’s become an ally to Star and even Moon. He’s my friend and yours.

4. Jackie Lynn Thomas

As cool as the ocean breeze, Jackie Lynn Thomas is really something special. She combines emotional maturity with that surfer attitude that really made people love her despite her sporadic appearances. She was willing to give Marco a chance and was able to handle each situation impressively, even their break up. Then she had her French trip and got even cooler! She came back with a hardcore parkour girlfriend and a Finn Balor jacket that made me wanna see more of her.

Plus check out that body! Goddamn. No wonder Marco wanted her for so long!

3. Eclipsa Butterfly

If there should be a picture entry for Perky Goth or Happy Goth, it’d be Eclipsa. When they first introduced her, she seemed calm, mysterious like she was always hiding something you wanted to know. But she’s actually really loving, fun, and almost completely carefree. She was never evil, but she did have a bad habit of putting what she wanted ahead of what her people needed. I actually really wanted Eclipsa to take the role of Star’s magic mentor, but instead it was Star that helped Eclipsa. Post-Cleaved, now all she wants is to be a good wife and mother.

2. Star Butterfly

She’s a rebel princess. She’s the best! She’s a ball of lightning in a hot pink dress. She’s a thunderstorm running through the night, and she’s lighting up the sky. It’s amazing to see Star grow as a person. We love her lively energy and, to be honest, I am envious of her zest for life. She’s fun. She’s a fighter. And she’s so cute. I’m pretty sure we all agree, she was worth getting her own show.

1. Marco Diaz

Marco Diaz is the most relatable character I’ve ever seen. It was almost like looking at a positive version of fourteen-year-old me. Strangely enduring, funny and relatable, Marco is my favorite character.

Starco Wedding: Perfect

Hey everyone! So yeah I decided to go ahead and post a chapter or two of some other stuff while I finish up Chapter 14. This one was originally for my Starcoweek5 prompts but I think it works as a stand alone story. Basically you can probably guess what is happening here. It’s the biggest day of Star and Marco’s lives and Marco has gone above and beyond to make this the perfect wedding for him and Star. This is about as fluffy as I could possibly get, until probably my next chapter, hehehehe.

Please enjoy and have some tissues ready, this is one of those chapters that tugs at those heartstrings.

“Today was supposed to be perfect,” Marco mumbled to himself, rolling his eyes before kicking his opponent back, ignoring the scuff he created on his nice dress shoes. At this point his tux was ruined anyways, covered in dirt and rips from the intense battle that was taking place. The warrior Marco was fighting growled, before rising back to his feet, charging at him with a raised sword. Marco just dodged easily out of the way, hitting him in the back and knocking the enemy out cold. “Why do things never go my way?” the boy asked the sky.

The day had started off wonderfully, too, the day both he and Star had been waiting for when they would finally take each others hand in marriage and seal their love forever. Since Marco had proposed to her (earning him lots of tears and kisses from his future wife) the young man had been planning the perfect wedding for them. He admitted he had gone overboard a bit: selecting the perfect day, the perfect place, the best flowers in Earth-ni, the most delicious cake money could afford, the works. But that was only because he wanted everything to be just right when he married the woman of his dreams. This was going to be the most special and amazing day of his life, he wanted it to be one to remember.

Star hadn't seemed as invested in the planning, only pitching in an idea here and there with varying levels of success with her finance, like when he had to hesitantly and gently remind his love that warnicorns were wild and dangerous animals and probably shouldn't be used to pull any of the carriages, especially when cars would suffice just fine. Mostly Star seemed to leave the planning to Marco, squealing and showing off her ring to all her friends and even some strangers, bragging about the fact that she was going to marry her Marco, which ceased to cause the man to blush bright red.

But Marco didn't mind that Star had taken a step back from the planning, after all he could handle it just fine on his own and he wanted to surprise her with most perfect wedding this world had ever seen.

And at the start of the day it seemed like that was exactly what he had gotten. As the proceedings began, things had started off well, the selected church looking like something out of a fairy tale, its halls gleaming with light and coated in beautiful white roses. Marco was overjoyed to see the seats filling up with the loving faces of Marco and Star's friends and family (as well as some news crew who were determined not to miss out on the “wedding of the century”) and he couldn't help but smile at every familiar face he saw.

The proceeding as well, went off without a hitch, as the gentle, peaceful melody from Ruberiot set the tone perfectly as the flower girls started their walk down the aisle. Or in the case of the four year olds, Mari and Meteora, it was more like ran down the aisle throwing flower petals up in the air and even sometimes at each other giggling away, making the whole crowd smile and awe at the young girls antics. Marco shook his head as he watched his sister and her best friend take their spots at the front, Mariposa waving over at him eagerly and he gave her a small wave back.

But all thoughts after that were forgotten, as the music suddenly changed and he looked across the hall just as the woman of his dreams stepped into view. He froze filled with so much love and joy at that second that he could barely breath and his best man, Tom, had to put a hand on his back to keep him from falling over as he swayed unevenly on his feet. He drank in every inch of her appearance, reveling in the soft white dress that flowed beautifully and gracefully off of his wife-to-be, admiring how perfectly the dress held her small frame in just the right ways and how the faded pink hearts that decorated the bottom were a nice and adorable touch. She had on long, pure white gloves that ran past her elbows and made a heart shape at the end. And a wedding veil that flowed down her golden blond hair, which had been curled delicately at the ends.

Her piercing blue eyes and loving smile matched his own as she almost glided down the aisle, held in the tight and loving embrace of her father, Marco only breaking off the stare for an instant to give a quick, grateful smile to Moon, for somehow convincing her barbarian husband to re-dawn a fancy suit for the event, which she returned warmly.

After that, all else faded into the background, the music and chatter fading into a dull barely audible sound, the crowd of faces vanishing as his Star became the center of his universe once more, right where she belonged. He hung on her every movement, on every twinkle in her eye, every step that she took, not one detail of his lovely wife leaving his sight.

When she finally reached him, they just stared at each other, for what felt like an eternity, just like they had the day they had gotten together, when their worlds had forever cleaved together. “Hey,” Star muttered, the love on her face and tone unmistakable to the boy.

“Hey,” Marco replied, swallowing down the lump in his throat.

It was Tom who had broken through this moment, as he loudly cleared his throat, drawing the two back to reality as they took their place in front of Queen Eclipsa, standing beside one another, waiting to hear their vows as the older woman began. But as the ceremony continued, no one was aware of a creeping evil lurking just outside. And this evil decided to rear its ugly head just as Star and Marco were about to declare their vows, the doors to bursting open loudly, drawing everyone's attention to the entrance, eyes widening and mouths dropping open in fear.

There stood none other than Mina Loveberry, wanted criminal of Earth-ni, with a group of rebel warriors behind her, all with hatred directed on the royal family and, more importantly, Star and Marco, all determined to make the couple pay by destroying their cherished day.

Marco had known that many Mewmans and even humans had never adjusted to the new world Star and Marco had unintentionally created, resenting them greatly for destroying magic and then forcing their worlds to merge into one, but he hadn't realized how far they would go to get revenge until right then, when the two lovers became a target of retaliation.

The room was quickly stormed with enemies and the peaceful wedding scene became an all out battle. Which was where Marco was now, fighting warrior after warrior that came his way, which was fairly easy, none of them a match for his impressive set of skills honed after years upon years of training. The real blow for Marco was from the disappointment he felt, his perfect moment ruined, stolen from him by a bunch of petty, narrow-minded jerks who were too stuck in their ways to see the good their change had brought. Marco knocked another one of these said jerks back with a swing of his sword, before looking to see how everyone else was faring in their fights.

Tom was currently lighting everyone in range on fire, Janna helping the process along by spraying the shaken bottle of wine at the burning opponents. Buff Frog was holding his own against at least four of the angry Mewmans, his daughter Katrina lending her father support as she showed off her own skills in battle, side by side with her dad. Pony was stabbing at them with her horn, making sure to be in good view of her camera as she did, looking as brave and dramatic as possible and Marco couldn't help but roll his eyes as he blocked a sword with his own.

Eclipsa and Globgor were holding there own against a large group of enemies as well, the royal couple fighting as one, so in sync with each other that Marco couldn't help but smile. River had gone all out barbarian ripping off his suit and beating them all senseless with his bare hands. Even Mariposa and Meteora were using their small forms to trip their opponents and knock them off balance. Many others knights and friends were lending their help in the fight, as well, while everyone else was hiding as best as they could from the danger, Moon directing many of them away and out of harm's way, thus giving the more confident fighters as much space as possible for their battle. Marco's eyes, however, were now searching for someone else in the crowd, his heart pounding in fear as he scanned the room for the love of his life and nearly sighed out loud when he finally spotted her.

Star was in the middle of karate kicking her opponent in the face, a look of such hate and anger that Marco almost felt sorry for whoever had to go up against his beautiful fiance. Though he wouldn't be lying if her graceful yet intense display of fighting skills didn't make his heart flutter. She looked so confident and gorgeous even in her ruined wedding dress, which was also getting torn up from all the fighting. Still Marco silently thanked himself for instructing Star in karate because, wow, did she look amazing while kicking bad guy butt.

This brought a new fire to the young man's soul, as he was reminded of how much he loved his Star and how angry he was at being prevented from taking her as his wife. He roughly grabbed a charging warrior by the collar yelling, “Why did you guys have to attack us today?! Seriously any other day wouldn't have been better?”

The villain sneered at the young man, spitting out, “Because we wanted to destroy your chance at happiness, Marco Diaz. You and your fiancee both will know what it's like to lose everything you cherished, to have your whole world torn apart!”

Marco growled, his hand tightening its hold on his sword. “That was over four years ago, why can't you people just let that go and move on already? Why do you have to destroy the best moment of my life just for petty, pointless revenge?!”

The young man was so lost in his own anger and too distracted yelling in the face of his smug opponent that he didn't see Mina coming up behind him, a sword raised in strike.

“Marco, look out!” came a familiar scream as the Latino turned to see Star kick Mina right in the jaw, sending her stumbling backward. But she didn't lose hold on her sword, as she just charged Star again with a crazed look in her eye. The blond easily dodged the swing, before Marco parried the blow and kicked the insane woman off of her feet. But Mina started to recover, rising back onto her feet, only to be attacked by a furious and unstoppable Globgore, who yelled, “You stay away from those two!” Eclipsa soon joined in as well, helping her husband to take on the once proud warrior.

Star and Marco panted for a moment, as they watched Mina struggle to hold off the royal couple on her own, before turning back to one another, Star asking in worry, “Marco, are you okay?”

“Yeah, I'm fine Star,” Marco replied with a reassuring and grateful smile. “Thanks for the save back there.”

“Anytime,” Star said cheerfully. But seeing an enemy fast approaching she yelled, “Incoming!” The two dodged the violent swing, before punching him back as one. The two were quickly surrounded by more opponents as they fought them off as a team but Star seemed to notice something was off with her boyfriend as she asked with a worried frown, “Marco, what's wrong?”

“I'm sorry, Star,” he quickly blurted out, dodging underneath a sword swing before hitting them as hard as he could with the blunt end of his sword, knocking them back and into more enemies. “I wanted out wedding to be perfect but now everything is ruined!”

“What, are you kidding? This is the most fun I've had all year!” Star declared, kicking her enemy in the side and knocking him over. “And I ain't letting this silly old fight get in the way of being with the man I love. So,” she continued, before quickly jumped over to Marco's side, surprising him as she took his hand tightly in her own. “Why don't we just get married right here?”

“Wait, now?!” Marco yelled in shock. “But we're in the middle of a fight!”

“Yeah but, everyone is here and afterwords their all gonna be too tired and everything, not to mention the police report.” Star explained, sounding annoyed. “And we'll end up having to wait until another day. And I don't know about you but, I don't want to wait.”

“Well no but-”

“Marco Diaz do you want to marry me or not!” Star shouted and Marco instantly answered, “No I do, I do!”

The loving smile returned to Star's pretty face as she gave his hand a tight squeeze, adding, “Then, what do you say? Let's get married right now.”

Marco took in a shaky breath, before nodding determinedly. “Okay, let's do it.”

Star smiled before directing her attention to the acting queen. “Hey, Eclipsa! Can you do us a favor and marry us?” the blond shouted.

“Now!” Eclipsa's panted voice asked in shock.

“Yeah, right now, we want to be married!” Marco yelled back.

“Oh very well then,” Eclipsa said with no hesitation, clearing her throat before saying, “Do you Star Butterfly take Marco Ubaldo Diaz to be your lawfully wedded husband in sickness and-”

“No, no, read the thing I gave you, remember?” Star interrupted, Marco looking over at her in confusion, before immediately having to direct his attention back on the fight. “What thing?” he asked, punching a warrior directly in the face.

“Your not the only one who made plans,” Star replied, with a knowing wink.

“Oh right, of course,” the queen of darkness replied, before searching her dress for something, finally finding the small slip of paper, hidden in one of the many pockets of the formal dress.

“Let's see now,” she muttered to herself, trying to regain her train of thought. “Oh, to be your lawfully wedded husband, to stand beside him through all the adventures that come...” Did Star write this? Marco wondered as the woman continued. “...to love and care for him even when he's being a royal doofus sometimes...”

Marco shot Star a small glare, who had a smug smile on her face. Yep she definitely wrote it. “...to promise to share the bed with him, even when he's hogging all the covers for himself...” The Latino blushed at this, nearly forgetting to block as a sword came far to close to stabbing him in the eye. “...to do whatever it takes to make him happy and smile...” The room let out a collective 'Awww' at that, all except the attempted assassins of course. This was when Star and Marco noticed that many of their family and friends had moved closer to the site of the battle, most of the warriors already defeated so it was safer to do so, watching as the impromptu wedding took place. “...but most importantly to be his very best friend as long as you both shall live.”

“I do!” Star exclaimed, breaking off the fight long enough, to pull Marco into a quick hug, making the young man smile ear to ear, so distracted by the blood rushing to his face that he almost didn't hear as Eclipsa began his vows.

“And do you Marco Ubaldo Diaz take Star Butterfly to be your lawfully wedded wife, to stand beside her in peace and in danger...” Marco's eyes got teared up as Eclipsa continued, his mind rushing back to so many years ago, reminded of the first time he had heard this speech, when he had knelt before his princess as she proclaimed him her royal squire. “...as her trusted equal and love...”  But now, they stood side by side facing the danger as one and that made tears of joy and emotion spill from his eyes, the young man barely able to see anything, as the knights took over the fighting, protecting the lovebirds as the vows were completed. “...to go clubbing with her even when you are too tired, to share your late night nachos but again, most importantly...” Star took Marco's hand tightly in her own, drawing his eyes onto her as she whispered the last part in sync with Eclipsa...  “to be her (my) very best friend as long as you both shall live.”

Star leaned in closer to the boy, now next to his ear, as she added in the softest tone Marco had ever heard, “Amen.”

The Latino was wiping the falling tears from his eyes with his sleeve, his sword long since clattering to the ground, as he replied with a barely repressed sob, “I do.”

Eclipsa nodded, saying, “Then we will need the rings.”

“On it!” Tom shouted from the corner of the room, shoving about three warriors out of his way, as he flew over to his two besties at a blazing speed, by the time he reached them he was panting for breath. He held out his hand, showing them their rings and they both took them eagerly smiling gratefully at Tom. They both took turns slipping the rings on, before holding each others hands again, eyes locked in a mixture of bright brown and blue.

Eclipsa gave them a soft smile, before looking over to see Mina and most of the warriors in chains and watching the couple with intense glares on their faces, guarded by Higgs and the other knights. She let out a quick sigh, glad the danger had passed for the young couple for now. And as her eyes drifted back to the young, smiling couple, looking lost in each others eyes, she was reminded of her and Globgore, wishing for the two to never suffer as they had in order to stay together as she said, “Then by the power vested in me as the Queen of Earth-ni, I now pronounce you, husband and wife. You may-”

But Star didn't wait for her to finish, as she pulled to her, planting a loving, passionate kiss to his lips, dipping him low, as he clung tightly onto her, drawing her in as close to himself as he could. “-kiss,” Eclipsa finished needlessly.

Clapping sounded around the room, cheers and shouts from Star and Marco's loved ones, as the two just revealed in the kiss, letting it go for as possible, their lips moving against one another in a dance. Both the Diaz's and Butterfly's were in tears, Rafael and River holding each other as they bawled their eyes out, while Moon and Angela just sniffed and wiped small tears from their eyes. Mari and Meteora were gagging, too young to understand the concept of kissing and love, mostly just finding it gross. And everyone else, Tom, Janna, Jackie, Starfan13, Pony Head, Ferguson, Alfonso, Buff Frog, and many others were all just clapping and smiling, glad to see their two friends finally married.

As the two finally broke away the kiss, they went back to just staring at each other lovingly, surrounded by everyone important to them, and Star asked, “So what did you think, Marco? I know it wasn't the wedding you planned but-”

Marco cupped Star's cheeks with both of his hands as he replied in a loving whisper, “It was perfect.”

And then the two went in for a shorter, but equally passionate kiss, pouring their love for one another into the breathless act. Once they parted, Star leaned her forehead against his own, staring deep into the chocolate brown orbs of her husband, as she said something that sent shivers of joy and anticipation spiraling down Marco's spine, as he wondered what her wife had been planning. “Just wait until you see the honeymoon.”  

And then the couple proceeded to have pillow fights, eat nachos until they were sick and rode wild warnicorns until they fell asleep cuddling with one another... haha, at least that's how I think the honeymoon went! So I hope you all liked, I know this wasn't a traditional fluffy wedding, since I turned it into an all out battle at one point... but I just didn't really want to write a perfect wedding where everything goes great and felt like this was a bit more fitting of our favorite couple. After all, when has anything with these two ever been normal. They enjoy the crazy, weirdness that is their life, so long as they have each other through it all!

Mariposa is the youngest in the Greene family, she’s the baby and the only girl which led to her being quite the center of attention. She has had several careers, working in the EMS field for several years in France before she decided to move away to US. Ok so now that I’ve thought a while about svtfoe finale I have some opinions

Things I liked:

Marco taking the wand from moon and Marco and Star walking through the portal hand in hand

The firstborn STILL tried to warn & help Star, even after she DIED. What a good unicorn daughter

Marco trying to use Star’s spells and then just creating some spells on the fly figuring it’d work better

Marco was willing to get STABBED to help Tom

We finally got to see Eclipsa’s butterfly form (and baby Meteora got a butterfly form)!

Baby Meteora learning how to dip down being plot relevant

Moon & Comet moment. Even tho Moon’s character isn’t great rn, I’m glad she got a moment with her mom

That Tomco moment (“ok can we recognize that Marco JUST FLIPPED A HORSE!” “I FLIPPED A HORSE!”). They are such good friends (and would’ve been such a cute ship), I love them. It’s really a shame this show didn’t do the tomstarco route (preferably in my opinion with Star and Tom both dating Marco but not each other, I’m not a huge fan of Tomstar and Star hasn’t proven to be a particularly good girlfriend to Tom, but it could be good either way).

Seeing the past queens again I love their designs (I want to know what Celena’s secrets are...)

Globgor, Eclipsa, and Meteora get to stay a happy family

Actually, surprisingly, I kinda liked Ponyhead in this episode? (A little bit). I liked how she tried to cheer Star up and then went “oh not again” when she thought Star was gonna get back together with Tom which I appreciated bc they’d already been together twice before and it hadn’t worked, and I liked that Ponyhead was aware enough to realize that probably wasn’t a good idea for them to try again

Janna! Her bonding moment with Marco where she actually said they were friends was so cute! And sbsjsvsjshs she dropped her heart rate to 0 for Marco what a legend. Janna Ordania, true ride or die.

More Jackie and her gf Chloe screen time (even if it was a few seconds. It was nice to see anyways)

Meteora and Mariposa get to grow up together after all

Star and Marco get a happy ending (and the show didn’t end with them kissing which was nice)

Oh does deleting the magic mean deleting the neverzone meaning Marco’s not 30 anymore?? I really really hope so that’d make any Marco ship so much less creepy. I’m accepting that as my canon thank you very much

Things I’m not sure how I feel about:

Hekapoo’s...complete neutrality towards her upcoming death? Ig it’s good that she evidently realized she’d done some bad stuff but uh...???

The pudding being able to keep your mind sharp in the magic dimension. On the one hand, I liked that there’s a REASON Glossaryck likes pudding so much and that we finally got an explanation for it, on the other hand I sorta wish that they’d figured that out BEFORE now. Now it kinda seems like the writers just needed something to explain how the Butterflies could stay focused in the magic dimension (but again, if they needed a plot device I’m glad it’s the pudding so...idk)

Ok what was the purpose of Tom riding the evil unicorn. I don’t get it. Don’t hate it or love it, am just confused.

Marco getting stabbed and hiding it from Tom and Star was some Good Angst Sh*t. The fact that that had absolutely no purpose, however, was not. I wish either Marco didn’t get stabbed, or there was actually some consequence to Marco getting stabbed as it was kinda pointless otherwise

The fact that both Star and Marco were willing to leave their families and worlds for the chance to be together. Obviously they care about each other, but they’re willing to give up their lives and families at 15 to be together? :/ (side note those shots of Marco huddled against the magic dimension rock were really pretty)

The portal thing. It didn’t make sense

Mewni and Earth being cleaved together. I mean on the one hand that’s cool, on the other hand that seems like it’s gonna create so many problems & just leaves me with a lot of questions. For example won’t humans just oppress monsters like mewmans did? Can Tom get back to his family? Is the underworld part of the Mewni dimension or is it it’s own? Did all the dimensions get merged into Mewnearth or just Mewni and Earth? How will Earth culture and Mewni culture learn to coexist?

Moon redemption. It seemed too easy, she didn’t really have to work for it! I mean her character was growing on me pre-her-working-with-Mina, but then she was revealed to be working with Mina and she made SOLARIAN WARRIORS I mean come on! I kinda wanted her to be redeemed bc I was unsatisfied with the Mina twist, but the way they did it was kinda :/ I want Star to be able to have a good relationship with her mother, but since Moon Did That and didn’t really face any consequences besides her daughter being mad at her for an episode...

That Solaria & Eclipsa & Meteora moment. I mean it was cute Solaria accepted them but she literally created Solarian warriors and committed monster genocide soooo...that’s definitely not enough to redeem her and it’s not great that she’s portrayed sympathetically

Things I didn’t like:

That they actually went with the “erase all the magic” plot line. Svtfoe is about Star the rebel princess, frequent subverter of expectations, so it was weird to me that they actually destroyed the magic and there wasn’t some twist like the four butterfly queens work together and unlock some super butterfly form or join hands in a circle around the Solarian Warriors and say the Whispering Spell or something else to defeat Mina. I’m surprised Star seeing her supposedly finished tapestry didn’t motivate her to find a different way because she’s Star Butterfly, rebel princess who fights for what’s right and nobody can tell her what she has to do, she finds her own way.

Eddie and River bumbling and telling Mina about the magic sanctuary. I wish River had saved Globgor bc it would really show he can be competent and would also be cute bc dad solidarity

Mina, after being built up as the big bad, was defeated way too easily

Glossaryck, the MHC, (and presumably all of the queens’ spells INCLUDING THE LASER PUPPIES) just. Died. I mean the MHC sucked so oh well about them and glossaryck was kinda the reason this all happened (which btw is very confusing. Why did he give the first queen the wand if he knew all this crap was gonna happen anyways?) so I’m not super sad about him but Star’s spells didn’t deserve that, nor did the other queens’, or the laser puppies!!

The fact that Moon and Star grabbed tha alligators by the eyeballs. I know that this is such a small thing but in the series finale for the main character to still be doing stuff that hurts other characters like that and for it to be treated as a joke...it just sits bad with me. They’ve tried to develop Star, and been mostly successful, but for her to still be doing stuff like this and being a bad girlfriend to Tom and spontaneously deciding that she hates magic and needs to get rid of it no matter what happens to magical creatures and such after she’s supposedly grown so much just seems counterintuitive and bad. Like I swear Star’s my favorite character (bet that’s a surprise with how much I’ve talked about Marco this post) but sometimes it’s so hard to like her it’s annoying

Mina lived. I mean what was the point of that? She’s not gonna learn to not be racist towards monsters and it looked like she got pretty killed by the unicorn in the magic dimension so like. What’s the point of her coming back

All the cruelty towards unicorns. I mean, the firstborn DIED. We saw her SKULL. What the F*CK that’s messed up! And the other unicorns died too, and the dark one also disappeared except for its skull. What was that about?! Were we supposed to just not care bc they’re made of magic? Bc if so that didn’t work

No but seriously it’s so messed up that Star’s unicorn daughter DIED and we saw her SKULL and it’s just treated as a joke what the hell that unnerved me sm

It was very anticlimactic how there weren’t any real challenges to the Butterflies destroying magic. Neither Mina nor the evil unicorn got anywhere close and for the series (not just season but SERIES) finale, you would think there’d be more of a final fight, and more tension/suspense so the final payoff seems more satisfying. Idk I just thought it went way too fast, especially for the actual end of the show. I thought the full time should be used for fighting Mina, not starco development (and I say this as a person who likes starco)

The cheek marks being gone. I know it makes sense with the plot of getting rid of the magic, and because mewmans were originally just humans, but since I didn’t like the magic-being-deleted plot line and because I have some sort of sentimental attachment to the cheek marks apparently, I don’t like that they’re gone

The uncertainty towards Tom/most characters from other dimensions’s fates. Again, I like starco, but even the most die-hard starco shippers probably think that the way characters who weren’t Star or Marco were just written off was unsatisfying, right? In particular, Tom deserves WAAAAAAAY better than he got. And Kelly, is her dimension merged with Mewnearth? Was the vision Ponyhead was describing actually what happened to her?

Supernova AU

The ending for Star Vs. was SHIT! Thank goodness I've stolen Star away from Disney before the fourth season, right?

Heeeere's Nova!

After learning the truth about her family, Star disappears from Mewni, without leaving a trace;

She traveled through the Multiverse, to find herself and start things over;

(Of course, she also explores her preferences and is now asexual/biromantic);

Due to many travels and fuckups on the timestreams, she becomes 21 years old (just like how Marco, Meteora and Mariposa have aged in canon);

Throughout her travels, Star learns more about different kinds of magic (with and without a wand);

With the knowledge that she earned, she had to heavily modify her spells and attacks;

(After all, a Narhwal Blast could be a dead giveaway);

Her Butterfly Form also had to be changed (she doesn't get all golden, and the wings' size have been reduced, looking similar to Magic Winx wings);

(The extra limbs still remain, though);

She eventually adopts a female Sableye as her mascot, and names her Glitter;

She changes her name to Nova (as in the name for the astronomical event, "Supernova");

She eventually settles down in the solarpunk world of Wondaria;

Nova brings a new era of ideas, expanding Wondaria to multiversal heights;

She eventually becomes a member of the Red Star Agency;

Her Magi Title is: Quirky Rebel Nova;

Her new weapons are magical PreCure-inspired gloves/gauntlets (after giving up her wand to another Magi named Perci);

Her star-shaped bag is actually a pocket dimension, where she keeps objects, treasures and mementos of her travels through the Multiverse;

Despite her disappoinment in her family and the MHC, she still maintains her cheerful and bright attitude;

...just, don't call her "princess" or "queen"... or any royal title, for that matter... it makes her very uncomfortable...

Star deserved better than having her whole character butchered;
