I just love making fabric covered hats... even more so if I get to make them with a superb wool-silk-linen melange as this one by my dear & phenomenal @kavitaparmar. . I chose to bind the brim (hand sewn, of course, because why not spend more time on it after having blocked the inner structure, the upper side, the lower side, hand sew them minding the tension, wire the edge...) with a stripe of the same fabric instead of ribbon because it seemed to reclaime to much attention that way. I am still deciding whether to leave it without any hatband or make it with fabric as well... .
