“I'm just going to list a few examples of what I mean." Clark Kent said agreeably, “Off the top of my head, so I apologize if I don’t get everything.” 

“Don’t worry about it.” Bruce Wayne waved a hand, drinking some water. 

“Okay, let’s see,” Clark stroked his chin thoughtfully. “Batman, the Penguin, Catwoman, Killer Croc, King Shark, Magpie, Man-Bat, Professor Pyg-”

Bruce Wayne looked slightly alarmed, the glass pausing on its way back to his mouth as the journalist kept going.  

“- Firefly, El Flamingo, Talon, just to name a few.” Clark finally gulped in a breath, smiling. “Do you see what I mean?” 

“I guess we have a lot of crime compared to Metropolis.” Bruce Wayne shrugged, smiling balefully and the live audience giggled. 

“Aside from that,” Clark asked, smile firmly in place. It unnerved Bruce a little, how the man didn't seem to blink.

“There’s no pattern, no pattern at all you’re seeing here?” 

Bruce Wayne leaned back in the chair, frowning slightly. “Can’t say that I do-”

“You got a city full of furries on your hands.”
