Usually, Harris Reed inspirations come from paper dolls, debutante balls, this season though, he allowed fabrics to influence his collection concept. He used crochet, applique, Damascus silk, lace shawls &tablecloths to create his latest collection.
The story behind his collection is quite interesting. Seven months ago, Reed started searching for pre-owned antique fabric online marketplaces such as Etsy, and Textile Trunk, for his upcoming spring 2025 collection.
Reed was inspired by the hand-painted silk wallpaper he got from collaborating with wallcovering specialist Fromental for his Fall 2024 collection.
