Sometimes a book stays at its climax for waaaaaayyy too long
#reading the first silo book rn and OOF#it was so good at first#and then the climax came and things just kinda…fell apart#now we’ve got like five different alternating character povs#and most everyone’s depth has flown out the window#cause no one has enough screen time to BUILD depth#and the things that were exciting before#stopped being exciting like twenty chapters ago#trin rambles#I’m gonna finish it anyway but#it’s always sad when a book that showed promise disappoints you#which happens a lot to me cause I’m extremely picky XD#especially where action/angst is concerned
