i just watched this video on iPhone vs android, and one of the questions that really got to me was 'if i was to switch, much would it ruin your life a little bit', and honestly, yeah, switching from apple to another ecosystem would just be a fucking nightmare

like the thing is, im someone who really enjoys the 'apple ecosystem'. yea big corpo bad etc etc but i just really enjoy using apple stuff, and how well it all fits together bring me joy in my day-to-day. hell, being able to copy something on my phone and paste on my laptop is so bloody useful, and that's just the tip of how well inter-connected it all is. i love using all of it - even how they make uis is something i like (i know people can hate it, but for me macOS is my favourite os ever)

if i had to switch, it'd cost me so, so, so much money, at least to do so entirely, and i could never, ever, do this again. as much as i enjoy this whole ecosystem stuff, i will never in my life lock myself down like this again, even to some goody-two-shoes that promises to make everything open-source or smth. because, despite everything, i do get the little gnawing at the back of my mind that lets me know just how screwed id be if apple dropped off the face of the earth tomorrow. id do whatever it took to never have it happen again

hii! ♡ what a coincidence! someone asked me what my pc's specs are but i answered right as you sent this question! you couldn't have seen it yet so just in case, i'm going to list everything i use to make content so that everything can be listed in one post:

PC SPECS:

RAM: 16GB

Storage: 500GB

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5500

Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060

Cooling: Watercooling Azza Galeforce 120mm ARGB here is the link of the pc i actually got, though it has changed a little bit, the pc now has a AMD Ryzen 5 5600 CPU while mine was AMD Ryzen 5 5500

i use a logitech mk470 keyboard & mouse, i like them because they don't make as much noise as my previous keyboard and mouse, i found it annoying how i could hear myself clicking and typing in my youtube videos

MONITOR:

★彡I feel like he would have a pink gaming setup. He loves black and red outfits but secretly owns a pink cat headset from Razer 

★彡Castiel and Su love going to local-themed expositions. Japanese culture festival, alternative clothing exposition, etc. There are always exhibitors who sell handmade jewelry so it’s a great opportunity for him to stock on some chokers and rings. And of course, he spoils Su with everything she likes.

★彡Castiel and Armin would have gaming sleepovers at Castiels place except they would only play Roblox and bully kids all night for shit and giggles .

★彡Speaking of Castiel x Armin dynamic they are going to the concerts together. Even if one of them doesn’t even listen music of the artist they are going to the concert they will be down to go just for making memories together.

★彡He loves traveling even though he doesn’t like meeting new people. I think he loves to be in his comfort zone but being a rockstar comes with concert tours so he needs to travel a lot from place to place. A new environment would give him inspiration and space to grow up as an artist. Especially in places where music is rooted in culture like Tokyo or London. That’s why he would collect guitar picks from every country that he has visited to remember all the great opportunities that he had.

Of course, he can’t say “Before singing this song I want to you all know that I wrote it for my lover girl” but he does some gestures, staring straight up at the camera whenever he sings really intimate lyrics (Su is obviously watching all of his concerts when she can’t be with him). I just wanted to ask about your mods folder (sorry if it states somewhere on your profile these kind of questions aren’t allowed, i’m new to tumblr too and still understanding how it works). Feel free to ignore this question if it’s not allowed. I understand that by having lots of folders within the mods folder it can make the game lag. I just wanted to ask how your mods folder looks? As I want to keep mine tidy and be able to find certain cc easily. I’m also in the process of buying a pc as I am currently using a macbook and have so much cc it’s starting to not work… If you have any tips or suggestions with having a pc (if you have one yourself) and how your set up looks, I would really appreciate it. I think lag in your game mostly depends on what kind of computer/laptop you're using. I have just over 50gb at the moment and my game still runs as smooth as it does vanilla ( no mods at all ). I know some people who have 100gb+ and they don't have lag issues either. Again I think it boils down to the computer itself, and what it can handle

I personally chose to go for a custom built computer so that I could choose my own parts as I really wanted a computer that could handle a lot of mods and also I wanted my game to run nice and smoothly, my partner is a bit of a nerd when it comes to computers so he knew exactly what kind of specs I needed

When it comes to my mods folder I am super organised, that way when patch day comes I know exactly where everything is to be able to take it out of my mods folder until its updated etc. I'll pop in some photos of what my folder looks like so you can see below. Trust me it didn't always look like this 😂

If you're struggling with lag then a short term fix would be to have a good clear out of your mods folder and delete everything that you don't reach for often, you can even go as far as deleting swatches of clothes and build buy items that you don't like. I cleared around 5gb last week just by removing swatches from some build buy items that were high in mb's. For example, I had a bed frame that was 320mb in size so I deleted all of the swatches except for the one that I liked the most lol

What my mods folder looks like

The only suggestion I will give regarding picking a computer out is to take your time and do your research! I really rushed my build and didn't want to wait for the white case that I liked so I ended up with the black one I have now that doesn't match my set up at all haha

When getting your computer the main things to look out for is making sure you've got enough storage and a good graphics card, obviously everything is important but these two for me where the main ones I focused on. If you do go custom built for example, you can always upgrade your parts very easily, where as if its pre built I'm not too sure if the cases are universal to fit different brands of parts in if that makes sense?

I am in no way a pro, I had alot of help from my partner when it came to building my computer. If you need help when the time comes feel free to give me a message and I can run things by my partner to help you choose what parts or pre built etc

I'll leave a few photos below of what my setup looks like, I just got the aurora collection for christmas and I also have the razer quartz collection too ( I prefer the aurora lol ). I can easily recommend you some good equipment also if you're not into the aurora or razer products. If you're looking for set up inspo then I would highly recommend browsing through Pinterest, that's where I got the majority of ideas for the aesthetic of mine. Pink and white are my favourite colours, hence the colour palette haha

Rating the F1 2024 Liveries

Because it's the first race weekend of the season and i have opinions.

1. McLaren

I'm biased because this is my fave team, and I do love the orange, but WHERE'S THE BLUE? Last year's blue highlights were so nice, i miss them, so for that it's an 8/10.

2. Haas

Can't go wrong with the usual red/black/white combo ngl. Sleek design, more distinct now that the (ex) Alpha Tauri isn't in the white + black club anymore. Very good very good. 8/10.

3. Ferrari

LOOK AT IT. This what a race car is supposed to look like. It's matte, it's got racing stripes, t's elegant, it's beautiful. Easy 10/10.

4. Red Bull

Better luck next year. 5/10.

5. Sauber

This looks like a 14 year old's gaming setup. Razer ass looking motherfucker. THIS looks like the token energy drink sponsor team. It's incredible. 11/10.

6. RB

It's not bad. It's not good though. I appreciate the fact that it isn't all carbon fibre but that's about it. 6/10

7. Alpine

The pink was your only redeeming quality, lads. The carbon fibre is a crime that cannot be saved by the measly dash of bubblegum you've added. 3/10.

8. Williams

Looks like a Williams. 4/10.

9. Mercedes

I can appreciate the mercedes silver, and the teal highlights never go amiss. It looks mean, as it should. Villain car 7/10.

10. Aston Martin

Was green before Sauber but wasn't ever any good at it. Still it manages to look nice and clean in a pleasing way. Boring though. 6/10.

I'm a fake fps fan, imma admit it. Sorry for leading you on. I own the qaurtz kraken razer headset and egirl setup.

Currently I'm playing high on life! It's honestly very fun and all the different guns and their tricks are so cool.

I started with far cry 4 as my introduction, actually. I got in very late to the party of fps games. Then I moved on to borderlands and god it's a fucking experience by itself.

I did play cod and cs when I was a kid with my siblings but I never really had fun yk? It never truly clicked for me until far cry 4 years later.

I never thought fps could be fun! All I knew about them was the toxic cod lobbies I was forced to join for my siblings. And it got boring quickly, but god, since far cry, I've been finding out how fun and cool it feels to be a badass with a gun in a game.

Deep Rock Galactic, Doom, Half-life 2, Residents evil, fucking TINA'S WONDERLAND! i did hear good things about far cry 3 and far cry 5, I do want to try them eventually.

Gave overwatch a try back before ow 2 and it was eh, same with tf2. I prefer my toxicity to be served in MOBA, thank you. If I'm not the mid flaming jungler for never ganking my lane, then it's just not satisfying.
