It was a nice day, at least. The sun was shining, and a pleasant breeze whistled along the mountain pass. Even the wild Pokémon seemed to be enjoying it- despite their usual aggression, the Houndour were just lazing around, and actually seemed to be willing to leave them be, for once. “We ran into the Ogre last night,” his new travelling companion said, finally breaking the silence, and Kieran froze. “W-What?”

...So. It's been a while. Sorry about that. Burnout has been kicking my ass for the last eighteen-odd months.

I finally wrote a thing again. A small thing, but a thing nonetheless. It's Pokémon's Teal Mask DLC, not any of the fandoms most of you follow me for, but the plot makes me kinda wanna slap someone so. I guess this is the consequence.

If you don't know the plot of TM, this... probably won't make sense. I don't know. My brain isn't really operating correctly, so I can't put myself in your position right now.

I don't know when I'll write again, but it probably won't be Hermitcraft. Sorry. Hyperfixations change, y'know? ...Yeah, I wish LPAU wasn't unfinished, too. I hope I'll be able to come back to it someday.

Ooooh... delightful. That one's tricky, because wwhile I enjoy and have fun with most characters I write (wouldn't do it otherwise), the exact vibes of delightful are different, yanno? It's more... soft and innocent. Fluffy. And I... okay, I'm not sure? If that properly fits my characters? In general?

...Maybe Fredbear?

Oh, for sure!

The Clan of Moonlit Rays was founded in a place called the Crystalspine Reaches- a massive, partially submerged ring of mountains made entirely of pink crystal where most fledgling Arcane clans start out.

The clan was small and bustling, but it was unfortunately located close to the point where Arcane, Plauge and Earth's territories converge, which is rather predictibly quite the battlezone. So the clan's little patch of land was attacked, and the place was destroyed, and a lot of dragons got killed.

Two young Banescale dragons- Vipertooth and Lamia- were able to escape and fled across Sorneith, eventually settling aaaall the way over in Lightning territory- specifically Carrion Canyon, in abandonded caves and tunnels left by some other clan that had long since moved on.

Vipertooth and Lamia stayed for about a year, recovering and meeting new dragons, some of which decided to hang around and join the Clan.

Eventually, though, Vipertooth and Lamia kinda got homesick, and Carrion Canyon isn't really the greatest place to live, all things considered, so eventually the Clan picked up and moved back into Arcane territory. Instead of going back to the Reaches, however, they went up, to the numerous floating islands that make up a place called Hoverview Vale.

There they ultimately met up with other survivors from the old Clan, including Aria, who was now furiously training to defend herself and her clan; Emerald, who was learning to be a medic for similar reasons; and Jade, the former clan leader, who now serves as the record keeper.

The clan is now kinda... a gathering point? Everyone's pretty chill, so dragons can come and go as they please. I host quite a bit, so that's kinda wormed its way into the lore.

Call me basic, but I, like many people, love the End Poem.

1. What font do you write in? Do you actually care or is that just the default setting?

I write in a font called Gabriela! It's fun, it's curly, and it is very much not the default option. It looks like this:

5. Do you have any writing superstitions? What are they and why are they 100% true?

-Writing in Gabriela increases creativity. That's just how it is

Was rereading the Last Player AU, and noticed this. "The only remaining terraforming is the lava rivers in Ren’s base" what does that look like??? Is there just. A Trench? Or is there remaining lava? Or just volcanic rocks?

While there is still lava, it's no longer on the surface- that part cooled and hardened into various rocks, including pegmatite, peridotite, and granite. This is extremely confusing to geologists, because by all indication those rocks were formed by lava, and yet the rocks themselves are the kind that form as a result of very, very slow cooling? As in, rocks usually formed underneath the Earth's crust?? Not on top??? (Player-placed Nether lava is Built Different rdfchgvjhb).

In any case, the lava itself is in a signifigantly smaller volume, but it still sits at the bottom of the rivers carved for it, below the surface. These days it's used for easy geothermal electricity.

The power plant has to negotiate with the Australian Heritage Council every time they need to make major changes to the operation.

Okay, so Cleo's snake hair is amazing, don't get me wrong. I love it. I love snakes. But like. Snake hair isn't very great on a practical level?

So the first question is this: does Cleo control the snakes, or do they just kinda do their own thing while being attached to her scalp? Well, both options have issues, and either way it's impractical, so it doesn't matter.

If Cleo can control the snakes as extensions of her own body (like tentacles with teeth), what's the problem?

Well, the first issue is that each individual snake has two eyes, two ears, one tongue that can both smell and taste, a highly acute sense of touch, and potentially also heat receptors, depending on their species. That's a lot of information to receive constantly, especially if- hang on, I need to go count snakes one sec.

So Cleo has 22 snakes attached to her head. That's a fact. Do with that what you will. But that's forty-six eyes and ears to keep track of- not something that'd be easy to deal with, if you ask me!

And if the snakes are their own, separate entities, then you have twenty-two probably venomous snakes attached to your head, throwing you off balance, fighting with each other, and trying to eat frogs every time you set foot in a swamp. Fun!

Either way, there are still two massive problems:

One, snakes are quite a bit heavier than people give them credit for. I'm saying this as someone who's actually handled snakes, for the record. The best descriptor I can come up with, at least for a diamond python, would be like cutting off a strip of a weighted blanket and turning it into a scarf. Twenty- two of the things would add up.

And two: How the hels are they supposed to shed their skin while attached to both Cleo's scalp and twenty-one other snakes.

Anyway that's all I have to say for now bye.

so. the pokehermits au. ik it hasnt really been touched on in a while but i had a Thought and now i need confirmation. if impulse were to possess someone's phone would he be able to access the internet and travel to someone else's phone bc i feel like that would be a very funny thing for him to do

While Impulse can become electricity, he still has a physical form- or as ‘physical’ as plasma can get, at least. So if he’s possessing a phone, he can’t really ‘jump’ to anything unless it’s plugged into something.

Now, if he’s possessing, say, a modem, then he theoretically would be able to travel through the cables to another place, or even region… assuming he knows the route, which. Yeah.

I have decided that LPAU!Beef is a were-alien but instead of the moon it just kinda depends on his mood. He has decent control of it. It's usually a partial shift and that left sclera is almost always yellow so there's that.
