Amethio x Reader | ABC HCs

A = Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?)

Amethio isn't overly affectionate. He doesn't like physical touch as much as a regular person would. Instead, he often shows affection by getting you things that reminded him of you, or spending quality time.

B = Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?)

If the two of you are both Explorers, you probably scolded Sango for annoying him, that paired with your age being similar to his, the two of you became friends after a while.

If you aren't a part of the Explorers, then you met whilst he was out on a mission. He was looking for more information about the black Rayquaza. He was dressed up in a suit to look more formal, and you just so happened to have seen the Rayquaza and the two of you exchanged numbers (it started off being about the Rayquaza, but later turned into the two of you becoming friends).

C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)

Amethio isn't big on physical touch, so he'd always tense up if you hugged him or cuddled with him. After a few seconds of being in a hug, he would relax though.

His hugs are awkward, he isn't sure that he's even doing it right. He has not received any physical touch, so how is he supposed to know how to give it out?

D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)

Amethio is a part of the Explorers, meaning that he can't settle down. Some day, he wants to settle down (but commitment scares him).

I can imagine that he's pretty good at cooking, he prefers to make simpler dishes but he can make something a bit more complex.

E = Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)

As for cleaning, I can imagine him having a pretty clean living area, until he has a new mission like the one he has now which causes him to have his nose stuck in books and papers, often leaving his study -or any area where he keeps all his notes - relatively messy as he works on missions.

F = Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?)

Amethio would break up in person, he would try to break it off in a 'professional' and clean way.

As mentioned before, Amethio is definitely someone who is scared of commitment. Nothing about his life has been in one place, and he's afraid to get too comfortable. What if something goes wrong,? What if you get hurt becuase he's associated with the Explorers?

With that being said, he definitely takes his time. He doesn't want to rush getting married, he wants to make sure that you know all the risks associated with his work and what it means regarding your safety.

G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)

H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)

He's closed off and tries to appear more adult, which results in him trying to not be gentle, but I can see him becoming gentle later on in the relationship as he begins to trust you, (he's scared of accidentally harming you, especially when you're softer and more inoccent than him (Aka, being a relatively normal person for your age demographic))

Amethio is awkward when it comes to hugs. He isn't used to physical affection, so it will take take a while (a really long time) to get used to them.

I = I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?)

It takes Amethio a while to say it, most because he's afraid. He's scared of what will happen if you knew. He knows it's a bit silly but he can't help it.

J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)

I can see him getting jealous if someone tries to hit on you, but at the end of the day, he's always trying to hide it because he thinks that jealousy is a "childish" emotion.

K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)

L = Little ones (How are they around children?)

Amethio isn't really one for kisses, he'd prefer to hold your hand at most - he isn't embarrassed of you, he's not an affectionate person. If he does give you kisses, they're short and sweet, on your cheek or forehead, but you can see that he actually cares about you.

Amethio is still roughly a teenager (~16-17 imo), so he hasn't thought about kids, but he isn't too fond of them as they're loud and well- kids.

M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?)

Outside of missions, mornings spent with Amethio are relatively slow. He'd take his time getting up, savouring the rare moments where it's just the two of you,

N = Night (How are nights spent with them?)

O = Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?)

Amethio would only share a bed/sleeping space with you if he trusts you, there's something intimate and vulnerable about sleeping in the same bed with someone and letting down your gaurd for hours, trusting that they wouldn't harm you.

He has a wild sleep schedule, but he often makes sure that you're asleep before he goes back to work. If he doesn't have a mission, he'd lay with you. He's horribly greatful that you're in his life.

Amethio is more closed than a book that has three inch steel surrounding it. He keeps his feelings to himself and it takes him a really long time to open up. Not that be doesn't trust you -sometimes it *is* because of that- but it's becuase he doesn't know how to express his emotions. His past though? You'll only learn about it when you've fully gained his trust.

P = Patience (How easily angered are they?)

Depends on what happens. In a normal situation, it takes a long to anger him, (whether he's hard to anger or he's good at not showing it is upto debate), but he'll never lash out or harm you. No matter how angry he gets.

Q = Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?)

Amethio tries to remember every little detail to show you that he's still interested and wants the relationship to keep going.

R = Remember (What is their favorite moment in your relationship?)

S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?)

Amethio's favourite moment was realising that he can trust you when you him that you'll wait for as long as he needed to open up whilst holding his hand. The look in your eyes as you said those words was so pure and wasn't full of any malice.

Amethio has a well trained Cerulege that he isn't afraid to use if someone is a danger to either of you.

T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)

Amethio knows he sometimes can't be there, so he puts in extra effort into dates, anniversaries and gifts.

U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?)

If he skips an anniversary because of Explorer stuff, you best believe that he'll get you something expensive and he'll bring you to a restaraunt that only Arceus knows how he could afford.

After he gets fired, he has more time for the domestic side of the relationship and happily spends his now-free time with you,

Amethio is super closed off. He rarely shares anything with you, he's trying to get better at expressing himself and telling you more about him, but it's hard for him to let down the walls that he has built.

V = Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?)

W = Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?)

Amethio tries his best to look neat and presentable whenever he can to look mature and be taken seriously by the other Explorer admins and everyone around him.

After he gets fired, he still tries to look presentable and mature,

At the start, probably, but he'll push down and try to block his feelings, so, not for too long,

X = Xtra (A random headcanon for them.)

Despite being super busy with missions, Amethio tries his best to spend as much time with you as he can to make up for the lost time. He knows it may not be enough, but he's trying.

He often gets you gifts and trinkets from his travels.

Y = Yuck (What are some things they wouldn’t like, either in general or in a partner?)

Amethio wouldn't want a dishonest or unloyal partner. He values loyalty and honesty in romantic relationships.

Z = Zzz (What is a sleep habits of theirs?)

Because he works for the Explorers, I can't imagine him having a healthy sleep schedule. One night he's up until the sun rises and the next night he's going to bed at 8:30, but in the end, he tries to cram everything in the day so he can spend more time with you at night,

After he gets fired, I can see him trying to fix his sleep schedule to spend more time with you before you leave in the morning for your weekday duties.

Calypso’s apology was intended to be an open to interpretation— I usually see it as her apologizing for trusting him in the first place, indirectly leading to them both feeling so much pain down the line. But it’s ultimately up to the reader. I wanted the audience to be able to determine different parts of Calypso and Torrent’s story in ways that were relevant to them personally. And Torrent joined Team ACT because it felt like the right thing to do— to help track down the reason the world was ending, even though she was his best friend.

As for additional lore, I’m planning to revamp my Rescue Team storyline with (mostly) new characters, so I can share my original notes for Calypso and Torrent’s storyline!

Behold! The TPiaG Wrap-Up, Part 1: Rescue Team Edition!

Gengar projected his self-loathing onto Calypso after hearing her say she was a former human, assuming she was just as vile as he saw himself, and started spreading rumors that she was the prophesied trigger to the world's end out of a combination of self-preservation and hatred.

Calypso’s partner, Torrent, betrayed her and joined Team ACT in hunting her down after he began to doubt whether or not he could trust someone he met a few short months ago with his life. He was worried about how associating with her would affect his standing amongst important individuals in the Rescue Team field more than he was about how his friend would survive.

Calypso was rescued during the eventual confrontation with Team ACT and Torrent by Ninetales, who chastised them for believing Gengar, a known troublemaker and liar, about something as vital as someone's worth in existing. Torrent was horrified by the realization that he was wrong to betray his partner, and tried to apologize, but Calypso ran off, refusing to hear out his explanations.

The events of Red Rescue Team took place with Calypso largely alone, refused company by those she turned to for assistance like Magnemite and eventually turning down companions like Absol due to her paranoia and anxiety at the thought of being betrayed again.

Calypso never returned to the town where the majority of the game is set.

Calypso learned from Gardevoir that, as a human before entering the world of Pokemon, she had asked for her memories to be erased. Gardevoir implies in her explanation that Calypso seemed less motivated by her supposed reasoning of testing whether she was heroic enough in her core nature by reading her own memories, and she appeared more so relieved by the thought of becoming an amnesiac. Gardevoir speculates that Calypso had something in her past as a human that she was haunted by. Calypso, who learned that cubones and marowaks are not all inherently defined by grief, but have ritualized mourning as a significant part of their culture, realizes that she had (in her own words) significant “mommy issues.” She removes the skull helmet she wears for a final time, abandoning it in a clearing after she wakes up from the dream where she learns of her past.

Calypso overhears through people in a town she's staying in that a nearby Xatu prophesied that the world will be destroyed by a falling star, and countless Pokemon with prophetic abilities confirmed this. She rushes to Sky Tower and fights her way to its top, pleading with Rayquaza to destroy the meteor.

Rayquaza is offended by Calypso's presence in Sky Tower, as he had sworn a Vow with the universe itself to uphold the laws of nature— he would never descend to the ground, just as those bound to the earth would never reach its atmosphere.

Rayquaza, after Calypso pleads with him and stands her ground in a fight with the Lord of the Sky, is finally convinced to destroy the meteorite threatening the world by its arrival. He warns Calypso that Sky Tower would be destroyed by the fallout of the meteorite’s destruction, and she would fall to her death, but Calypso tells him she has one job to do in this world, and she doesn't care what it takes to get it done.

Rayquaza is impressed by Calypso's resolve and destroys the meteorite, causing Sky Tower to dissolve in the resulting shockwave. Calypso plummets to the ground, but is saved from the impact by Rayquaza catching her as she falls, breaking his Vow to never touch the ground in his infinite lifetime.

Despite Rayquaza breaking her fall, Calypso dies as a result of being abruptly pulled out of the drop. Gengar senses her spirit entering the in-between realm between the land of the living and the afterlife, and, under the guise of dragging Calypso to “the dark world” (a nebulous location he made up on the spot to maintain his antagonistic appearance) hauls her spirit back to her body, saving her life.

Calypso evolves into an Alolan Marowak as she takes her first breath after being revived. She is greeted by Rayquaza, who is struggling to fly off after seeing she's alright. He laments that his powers have weakened dramatically as a result of breaking his Vow to never grace the earth with his presence, and he feels as though he's been reduced to the strength of a mortal.

Calypso struggles to pull herself to her feet, ignoring Rayquaza’s melodramatics, and is startled to find that she doesn't look like any pokemon she knows. Rayquaza theorizes that most cubones wear their skull helmets prior to evolution, and it becomes a part of their bodies as they evolve into a marowak. She seems to have evolved into a marowak touched by “the world beyond” on top of her already odd appearance as a result of that peculiar ghost-type dragging her back to her body. Calypso is startled and asks Rayquaza to clarify, and he confirms that Calypso was saved from an early death by Gengar. She's disgusted by this.

Rayquaza is frustrated by his inability to do anything more than hover a short distance above the ground for a brief moment at a time, and complains that he will likely need to regain his power over time as a result of his newfound Oathbreaker status. Calypso begins a journey to look for a place to stay, and Rayquaza follows despite her protests, slithering along the ground like a massive arbok and claiming she's a champion comparable to a Legend and he hopes to learn how to wield a power that even echoes such a stalwart determination.

Years pass. Rayquaza slowly regains a degree of his power, but is still largely comparable to a mortal, and takes up residence on a mountain peak near a town where Calypso settles. Gengar starts tracking Calypso down (and Calypso starts evading all his efforts to find her) in order to apologize and reconcile with her, driven by guilt at his past actions. Torrent joins Team Meanies after Gengar abandons them to search for Calypso, and they become a prominent Rescue Team before eventually comfortably retiring early after a successful career.

Torrent was never the same after betraying Calypso, and became a very solemn, almost depressed character after she ran away while he tried to apologize. He evolved into a feraligatr at an early age due to how he used training as a means to cope with his guilt. He eventually becomes a traveler who drifts between towns, looking for odd jobs to distract himself.

At one point, he encounters a gengar in a small town, the same one who fooled him into believing his old partner was someone he couldn't trust. They briefly catch up as Torrent expresses his anger at Gengar, who asks if Torrent saw “her” in town. When Torrent asks who he means, Gengar falls silent. “Nevermind. It's not my business. Not like it ever was in the first place, come to think of it! Kehehe.”

It's the anniversary of Torrent's betrayal of Calypso, and he stops by a small restaurant to distract himself. It's practically empty, as the Light Festival is going on and literally everyone is out in the streets celebrating. Even so, he sits at the counter and gives his order to a young charcadet waitress who's flurrying back and forth with a speed that doesn't seem to fit such an empty restaurant.

The charcadet asks Torrent if he'd like to meet her mother, the chef, because it's a slow day and her mom always gets really moody around this time of year. Some conversation with a new face would do her good, she thinks. Torrent agrees, and is startled to find that he recognizes the marowak that the charcadet drags by the hand out from the kitchen.

Torrent and Calypso reconcile, and Calypso forgives her ex-partner with a tearful hug.

Calypso's daughter, the charcadet waitress whose name is Cinders, eventually discovers the skull helmet Calypso abandoned in a clearing while their family is traveling on a vacation. She puts it on experimentally and evolves into an armarouge clad in bony armor. She thought her parents would be disappointed in her, as she had hoped to evolve into a ceruledge to match her mother's typing, but Calypso especially was overwhelmed seeing Cinders come back to their campsite with her new look. Torrent was taken aback by how openly emotional Calypso was in that moment, as she's usually very closed off.

Gengar is asked by Torrent to be Cinders’s godfather, Gardevoir eventually befriends Gengar despite her amnesia, Calypso’s restaurant goes on to become a destination for travelers, and Rayquaza holds these foolhardy mortals in his heart for centuries after they’re gone.

I got pokemon cards and stole my sisters pokemon cards and i got rayquaza and pikachu

reminded me of you and the j-man

anyways got any fears? Not like anything serious just things that scare you, like bugs or heights or the dark

for me I’m scared of women (they intimidate me) and bugs. Specifically June bugs. June bugs can go extinct and I would celebrate. I fw other bugs tho. Centipedes? Love em. Millipedes? Adorable. Spiders, butterflies, ladybugs (despite their name, I am not scared of them) are all great! But June bugs are the devil reincarnated and they can burn because what kind of twisted little FUCK tries to fly into a 7-year-olds mouth after they’re so KIND and make a little house out of sticks, rocks, and leaves for you? I know which one. Junie the fucking June bug. I know he’s long dead but FUCK HIM AND I HOPE HE DIED PAINFULLY.

The Journey Begins (RD)

At the beginning,

There was nothing

A single cartridge and DS was received by the controller of all on the day of October 2, 2005. There was a torchic by the name of BOB. The Controller's code monkey grew wary of this BOB and put an end to BOB. The nothing that had become something was once again nothing.

Then, one day, BOB returned. Though in the form of a human this time. Human BOB prosperred from the Hoenn region to the Sinnoh region alongside his Rayquaza and Torterra. Then, everything changed when the australians attacked. Only the happy mask salesman, discoverer of the lost world, could bring it back to the Controller, but instead, he entrusted the Australians to return the world to the Controller. The Australians found this to be a perfect opportunity to steal the Lost World and take it to australia. BOB had predicted this day, and in preparation created 333209z, a robot to share memories and documents of BOB. The Lost world was gone, so 333209Z did his job and spread word of BOB in the Orre region. BOB developed charisma despite his distance thanks to his robot. The word spread to the Kanto region, the location of the local hero, ELlAS. Many in Kanto compared the journeys of BOB to that of ELlAS. ELIAS, intrigued by the tellings of BOB, confronted 333209Z. They agreed to partner up in an alliance known as the Mercenaries Enduring Agony and Danger for the sake Of those Who seek protection, or MEADOW. This partership attracted the attention of quin, a young fighter who believed in the ideas of MEADOW, and she joined shortly after. Quin was on mission for MEADOW that took place in the Cave of Origin in the Hoenn region. She approached a zubat that intruiged her in an odd way.

She could not tell what it was about it, but in under to ensure its capture, she used a master ball to catch it. It was transferred to the PC. She continued on in the cave and found Groudon. She thought that she was safe, but Groudon unleashed a mighty solarbeam and she died. MEADOW was back to two members. Then, one day the Lost World was reimagined, and reborn as the new world by the Controller.

BOB's power was too much, and was split in two as a result. There was finn, traveling the Hoenn region, and enemn, travelling the Sinnoh region. The old world and New World were completely out of communication, so neither ENEMN nor Finn knew about MEADOW. The two only communicated with eachother, seeing themselves collectively as BOB. Finn had a Sceptile and a Gyarados, while ENEMN had an Ursaring and Aerodactyl. One day, ENEMN grew tired of sharing BOB's power. He travelled to route 221 on his Aerodactyl and used the pal park as a means of stealing Finn's pokèmon. He kept Gyarados but found Sceptile weak, and stored him away in the PC. The Controller, who had originally split the power of BOB, saw what had happened. He found what ENEMN had done to be commerdable and therefore let him keep Finn's pokèmon. However, he found Finn to be weak, and executed him for his weakness, leaving ENEMN with all the power, but continuing to limit him to the Sinnoh region. ENEMN continued to travel, and found two rare pokèmon on his journey: Quagsire and Ponyta. He was approaching the end of his journey when he found a hot air balloon. It seemed to have a set path, almost as if the Controller intended for him to find it. It lead to a new world known as the blurred world. The only person that seemed to be there was hayley. She promised ENEMN to take care of his pokèmon, and he left his Registeel, Quagsire, and Ponyta. Hayley then mysteriously disappeared, and all of the pokèmon he trusted with her were lost. This lead him to rethink his choices, and he took a break from travelling. His friends gabriel and lane gave him a Bulbasaur and a Cranidos to help him restart his collection. He realized that his taking Finn's pokèmon was greedy and selfish, so he rivived Finn. This reincarnation of Finn was known as tjbf55. This was the first time that the existence of the creator was proven. He formed an escalator to the old World in TJBF55's realm of Hoenn. They found 333209Z and ELlAS, where they learned of MEADOW, and the other two learned of Hayley. With a main villain to fight, and a dream team to fight it the three of them raised their pokèmon. ENEMN started with Aerodactyl, Ursaring, Venusaur and Gyarados. 333209Z raised a Jolteon and Mightyena, ELIAS raised a Charizard, Electabuzz, and Snorlax, and T5BF55 built a team of six. His Swampert Marsh, his Beautifly Kaput, his Gardevoir Neil, his Gyarados Mist, his Plusle PJ Sam, and his Xatu Icarus. They trained enough to feel ready to fight Hayley and challenge her. They left decoy pokemon in order to attract her, and she came. They weren't able to defeat her, but they got her strongest weapon; her Mew. Disheartened by the result of their fight, they searched for more members. ELlAS took action and travelled to the Johto region. He climbed to the top of Mt. Silver and awaited a worthy foe.

That is when mike appeared. Without explanation, the two began to fight. Mike defeated ELlAS with his Meganium, his Lanturn Sparky, and his rare Gyarados Steam. ELIAS, impressed by Mike's skill, invited him to join MEADOW, and he accepted. ENEMN traveled on the escalator back to the New world and found lucas. Lucas was not strong but ENEMN sensed something about him and had him join MEADOW. Mike looked in the PC box and found Lane's Cranidos and Quin's Zubat. He took them both and added them to his team. With six ready members On MEADOW, they went back to the Blurred world to fight Hayley. She defeated most of MEADOW and trapped Lucas, leaving only Mike. Mike's only pokèmon left were Crobat and Ramparados. They managed to get Hayley almost dead when she went in for a self-destruct attack. Lucas broke free and took the bullet for aIl of MEADOW and the inhabitants of both the Old and New Worlds. Lucas' death prevented his pokèmon from ever leaving the Blurred World, so they promised to make it a place of happiness and MEADOW promised to visit often. 333209Z travelled back to Orre in the Old World hoping to take a break from chaos. He then found out there was trouble in the Unova region, very close to Orre.

Hello guys, Star-Arcana here and I wanna posit my best theory on Pokémon Horizons best and greatest mystery in the storyline so far:

WHAT IS RAKUA!!!

Rakua is the ancient Pokémon Paradise of fables and legends, according to Lucius and many others characters both in the past and present. It's a mythical paradise on top of a mountain, or many mountain? However it is ultimately geographically speaking, to us, currently unknown, only that it took an overseas adventure to get there with Rayquaza and the others guiding Lucius and his friends. It exists really as Lucius and his friends believe, and is a lush, green enviroment with a lot of Pokémon there, alongside them legendary Pokémon in great numbers,too. Like for instance a trio of the Legendary Kanto birds, Latios and Latias, and even a Terrakion and a Virizion, all being happy, enjoying the tranquility and peace of Rakua. Basically the most bountiful place on earth, a true Garden Eden. Gibeon,Rystal and Lucius fond that place to be truly beautfiul, but also found about it's most benefactory boon , and most dangerous curse: Rakurium!

WHAT IS RAKURIUM!!!

Rakurium is given this name by Gibeon, due to being from Rakua. Also known by the Explorer's own company Exceed as "eternal blesssing", Rakurium is a rare, pink ore found in Rakua. It is the source of this place bounty, and the reason why so many legendaries exist there. It's a constantly renewable energy source that when faced with force, rapidly expands and increases in size and power. When unearthed from the ground via force, it begins to renew itself and create more clusters of itself. Basically an infinite expanding matter with near endless power.

It also possesses the ability to enhance the growth, longlivety and strenght of plant-life, as seen with the many large trees and sudden growth of them in various places.

With Pokémon, it enhances their powers, when they get exposed to it's gas form, allowing Spinel's Umbreon to one-shot Ceruledge the one time on Glaseado Mountain.

Lucius and Gibeon as humans lived via Rakurium's "eternal blessing", long lives with their youth preserved, as seen with Lucius for instance in the trailer for the end of the Rakua storyline, while Gibeon, being exposed to less Rakurium, only aged slightly.

However that power Rakurium holds is beyond a shadow of a doubt, VERY dangerous!!!

While it can enhance the growth of Flora, it can also due to overexposure, destroy it and leave only a barren wasteland surrounded by the pink mist of Rakurium.

That Pink mist also turns Pokémon hostile empowered by it, who would have been otherwise peaceful without exposure to that gas. Also in addition to all of this, Rakurium's ever expanding potential as renewable, even limitless power, is described by Lucius and Rystal soo dangerous and powerful, that if it's continuing to spread, it can easily overwhelm the entire world, devour it and destroy it due to it's infinite potential of power and growth. Rakua is insanely dangerous and rightfully feared and unfortunately desired by the avaricious Gibeon.

However Rakurium has a natural counter:

Terastal energy, especially emitted by the Legendary Pokémon, Terapagos, who is said to be the origin of Terastal crystals and it's power. As seen in the same episodes where Pagogo, Rystal's and now Liko's Terapagos, came in contact wiht Rakurium, it not only neutralizes it's effects, it can absorb and even empower itself with it, without going feral. Spinel thinks these powers are opposed, but I disagree, and I think they are connected to one another, in fact, I believe that...Rakurium and Terastal Energy are the same element, but diffrently charged!

Tera crystals and Rakurium theory!!

Due to the exchange of effects Tera Crystals and Rakurium have to one another, I assume they are one and the same material, or at the very least, related to one another. I am no chemist, so I have not the highest authority to speak intellectually on such a topic, so please feel free to correct me on the science, if I am wrong.

So, I assume that due to diffrent enviroments and other factors, Tera Crystals change to Rakurium and vice versa and due to this share this connection. Tera Crystals allow for the Terastal phenomenon in which the energies can change the type of a Pokémon or reinforce the power of an existing type. The Pokémon Terapagos, as a being made of Terastal power, can even attain the power of all types in the form of it's Stellar type containing each and every single of them, especially seen on it's shell having the symbol of each Pokémon type. In addition to this, Terastal energy is strong enough to even open the doors to past and future timelines, which brought the Paradox Pokémon to Paldea's great Crater. Some say Terastal crystals are not so much bringing these Pokémon from diffrent timelines and time periods, but also perhaps create these Pokémon based on expectations of others and even created these beings. Anyway Terapagos is Pokémon with powers only few Pokémon posses. The power, as the name implies, is deeply connected to that of the cosmos, perhaps it IS the very power of the cosmos. Only one Pokémon is said to be behind the powers of the universe, in fact, it CREATED it! Arceus the creator god of Pokémon according to legends, uses the plates to give it power of all types, and perhaps the plates are what allowed the Pokémon to create the universe with it, as Pokémon Legends Arceus implies told us, when the Universe was created, it's shard became plates...but what if the shards didn't all became plates and instead...something else!

Terastal Crystals and Rakurium are the building block of this universe, and all living Pokémon!

If true, this is the biggest lore upgrade since gen 4, and I wanna explain why I believe that. Typings are important in Pokémon, they give the Pokémon power and as Arceus holds with it's plates the power of all types, it clearly means that whoever has power over all types is a cosmic being, because the power of the cosmos, IS THE POWER OF ALL TYPES. As established, The universe's fragments, the star dusts created the plates with the types, and the power of these plates are within Pokémon, a.k.a their typings. The power of the universe is therefore the power of the types, and as the Stellar type is all times in unision, it must be the original type from which all originates, hence Stellar type...so Tera Crystals are the prima materia of the Pokémon world. When changed however into Rakurium, it vitalizes organisms like humans, plants and Pokémon,perhaps even affecting Prokaryotes, the first organisms. So I think this happened back then in the prehistoric past of Pokémon!

Pokémon's origin story Nr.3: A Meteor brought us Pokémon!

According to lore, Paldea's Crater was formed a millions of years ago, with the cause being unknown, but given how large the crater is, a massive meteor crashing on earth would have allowed for the creation of such a massive crater, like the one that ended the Dinosaur Age. So i assume a massive Meteor with Tera Crystals and crashed in Paldea and scathered across the world many of it's shards, with Kitakami having massive amounts of Tera Crystals there. However some of the Tera Crystals became Rakurium due to the sudden change of enviroment or were perhaps were within the Meteorite that brought Tera Crystals, and were changed prior. However both meet at one place with enough quantities to infuse with the other, while surrounding the smaller organisms that existed. These organisms fed of the Rakurium and Tera Crystal combination and became the first Pokémon, the origin of all Pokémon, Mew. As Psychic is the closest to the power of the cosmos, naturally the first Pokémon must have been a psychic type, as most of the Tera crystals were converted into Rakurium and only a small portion of Tera Crystals gave Mew the power of Psychic typings, but also the power to learn all moves as the origin of all Pokémon. With Arceus having created the universe, so did he created the Stardust that contains Tera Crystals, which in turn contained the power of the cosmos, and with some of it converting into Rakurium, landed on earth, both of it forming the building blocks for Pokémon's existence as a lifeform and thus being the missing link in the history of Pokémon's creation.

Terapagos could however be born sorely from Terastal Energy in Paldea, and being thus the personification of the very power that created the cosmos, and is the cosmos, basically being the relative to the first Pokémon and being therefore, amongst the first Pokémon in existence alongside Mew.

Speaking of Mew, with it's origins being well known, thus the location of Rakua is well known, and THAT is the final piece of evidence I super effectively use to make my final theory:

Rakua is in Guyana and Pokémon's Garden Eden!!!

Guyana is a country within the real world, it is in South America, both of which exist in Pokémon. Mew is said to originate from Guyana, as it was first discovered there, so if Rakurium and Tera energy created Mew, then that means that Rakua IS in Guyana, a place where mountains do exists, with flat-plateuas, similiarly shown in the trailer:

Rakua is said to take 100 days and night on foot from Paldea's center, but as Rystal said, they were overseas on their way to reach it, and did so, because Rayquaza helped them, meaning they first have to cross the wide oceans, and with Paldea being the based on the Iberian Penninsula, it makes sense for an overseas travel to end in South America, a place that Spain historically visited, and saw a lot of conflict due to the avarice of the explorers, in this case Gibeon and his reformed group, not the OG Explorers under Lucius...meaning he can be see as a small allegory for the Spanish's greed and colonization of places with rich resources, though that is a bit of a stretch perhaps, since that would be a hella lot of implications.

But my post isn't about this, it is about the fact that Rakua is the origin place of all Pokémon as we know them, thus being the Garden Eden of this world...with Arceus as god creating the universe, and life being created via Meteors carrying the building blocks, that being Tera Crystals and Rakurium, and forming Rakua, the Garden Eden from which the first Pokémon came from, and spread from there!

This makes Gibeon's Zygarde a perfect choice as this story's villains ace, since a snake tempted in the real world's eden humans to cost from forbidden fruits, but Lucius and Rystal resisted that temptation, Gibeon did not, and thus the original sin of greed created tragedy and evil within Horizon's world of Pokémon.

Also it would fit with the timeline from which Lucius originated, since based on our world, the search for Eden began around that time, and while we found no Tree of Knowledge, we found the place where it was based on and enriched our understanding of the world...btw that place is Mesopotamia, modern day Iraq, Syria and Kuwait e.t.c.

So based on the idea that several humans in real history set out to discover new things and new lands, Lucius's story being based on proving the existence of an actual paradise means that this story really is about discovery, but not necessarily discovery of places, but of ourself. Lucius and Rystal were heroes who respected and loved that world, Gibeon does not and needs to be stopped, especially with his insane desire for more Rakurium and even caring nothing for this world's safety, as thr trailer made clear, he would even see it die to get Rakurium. So Liko, Roy, Dot, Amethio, Friede and Lucius have to stop Gibeon from defiling the place of creation!

Conclusion: Rakua and Rakurium is Garden Eden and the Clay of Pokémon! Terastal Energy and Terapagos being part of this a well!

To answer a couple of questions that were asked in the tags of my Thomas Jefferson intro

a) for @astronomicalgarbage, who asks if my Jefferson has a thing for Mac and Cheese:

Absofuckinglutely. There's an ongoing fight between me (Canadian) and him (American) about whether Kraft Dinner counts as mac and cheese or an abomination before the lord, and it's one of our favourite meaningless battles. We also correct each other's spelling on papers of words like favourite/favorite and colour/color.

b) for @tex-treasures, who wanted to know our favourite Pokemon and our favourite art periods!

My favourite Pokemon is Ditto, same as it is IRL ^-^ I also have a soft spot for Caterpie and Eevee. My favourite art period is the Pre-Raphaelites.

Thomas's favourite Pokemon are uhhhhhh Luxray, Rayquaza, and he likes Vulpix content. I feel like I don't have the actual knowledge to say what an actual fan like him would like! He likes Neo-Classicalism and chibi art -_-

c) finally, the big question from several people, IS THIS AN APRIL FOOL'S PRANK?

Short answer: yes, I thought it would be fun to do for April Fool's, Miku Binder Thomas Jefferson is not going to be a member of my F/O list. But I do appreciate everyone who turned out to support me <3 <3

Long answer: LMM's version of Thomas Jefferson was genuinely one of the first ten characters I drew selfship art with. As much as I like the aesthetics of the character, I simply have no desire to dive back into that fandom and the politics thereof. My Hamilton/Les Mis era of my life was one of rampant idealism and huge energy and I feel very far away from that earnest wide-eyed first year who was making eight-hour drives to the capital to wave signs on the weekend.

If I was going to selfship with LMM's Thomas Jefferson, I would probably make my own modern design without some of the details from Miku Binder TJeff, but with the same nostalgia for the exaggerated characteristics of the Hamilton fandom (ie. Alex never sleeps, Laurens loves turtles, Lafayette is nonbinary, Thomas loves mac and cheese, everyone has dated everyone else).

But ultimately I'm not going to put in that work. Suffice to say that although this was an April Fool's prank, it was with a lot of heart and genuine enjoyment that I got to explore this dynamic!
