Every time I draw my line art style just gets more and more complicated💀😭.

Guess who gained a new interest to stick on the wall?? That's right! Me~~~~!

So, I have this very unhealthy habit of choosing favorites that never get fanart ever. In this case, Goth Teensy (my pookie💖) and Romeo.

My sibling indoctrinated me into this fandom, and I should have seen all the signs but my fixation on GT rn is too much for my ape brain to see though. (First a fanfic about GT that is eerily characterized close to me, then forcing me to endure CLH twice (it's not that bad), then being nice to me while playing Origins, then being there while I played Rayman 3, then wrote a story about GT together that's in the works lol).

Anyways, I have a sort-of interpretive version of the tennsys lol. They remind me of Moomins, so I gave them tails lol. Also, the amount of "nightmare" magic a teensy uses determines hair growth and fluffiness.

Since this is based in our AU origins story where Goth Teensy turned into a nightmare during his formative years, he's a purple fluffy teensy. Romeo is a regular nightmare magic user (Livid Dead resident), so he's fluffier than the average teensy and is able to maintain a head of hair lol.

(Ales fits in this too, but he can't keep his hair cuz his magic is super weak and embarrassing L Bozo.)

Romeo is Goth's babysitter-sorta-found-family-adoptive-brother. When Goth isn't in the lower levels of the Livid Dead (where all the nightmares are), he's with Romeo doing gardenwork, learning about the Glade, or just practicing his magic with someone who can coach him properly. They both listen to rock a lot too.

ok but zikox has an article on the polish wiki for some reason but it doesn't acknowledge he's actually on the map (i checked it's Only on the polish wiki)

i don't think globu is there at all

you know what might be some of the most obscure rayman characters

the dreamcast version of rayman 2 has this one that just sorta hangs out in the globox village. ill have to use raymap here bc ive only played the pc version

raywiki very offhandedly mentions this one as "an unnamed red adult member of Globox's species" but they DO have a name even if it seems to be only internal. which is Globu

(it might be worth noting here also that uglette's internal name is globette, so globu may not be the actual final name, but im going to consider this as the name because there is nothing else)

globu has 4 states (sort of equivalent to diff animations) and theyre just the random idles that globox also has, minus the clapping. globu has some dialogue as well but its not that interesting. mostly just talks about the minigame things

only other thing to note about globu is they have the weird half mitten hands whereas in this same version of the game both globox and uglette have normal hands. weird

theres ANOTHER character (of the same species!) raywiki offhandedly mentions as "an unnamed yellow baby" which must be this hilarious little guy

who is literally named in (possibly unused???) dialogue. this is zikox whose gimmick is , rapping ?

not only that but theres an exact object on the globox village map that has these same text array strings, you can see them in the screenshot (note that i had to set this specific object to even BE the yellow baby instead of another brainox copy (visually) so its not like. 10000% confirmed they correspond)

i dont know if zikox is just not on the map??? despite, sort of being on the map??? not even as an invisible object hes literally There. at least on raymap. again i havent played the dc version so i dont know whats going on there

I get all the jokes about FK being a zombie and evil n stuff, but like, not really?? He's just the FIRST KING OF THE GLADE that's all. He's probably been unjustly necromanced into today's world when he was just chilling with being dead. He would be the last thing from evil. Maybe kinda rude to other species, but that's normal for older people.

Idk, I just want grandpas in the world who actually want to help care and raise the next generation (cuz peepaw Polokus is doing daedally-shit)

Since I'm self-indulgent and biased to my own ideas, I had this silly idea that when FK was resurrected, he and Markus (the name for the Grand Minumus always hanging with Rayman for me), got into some arguments about just general stuff regarding the Glade and it's management. It might've gotten violent, and this got FK banished to the Livid Dead for a couple years, hanging out in the upper levels with Romeo, Shadi, and Goth (kinda).

When Big Mama found him there, she quickly brought him back to the surface and showed the Fairy Council. Betilla is very conflicted about him being back (cuz daddy issues), but she makes a decree that nothing harmful shall be bestowed upon him. So, he can do whatever without being sent back down to the Livid Dead.

Now, onto the school-related parts:

FK has a had a liking for kids ever since he was known as Aurthr Grandur (shameless The Sacred Dream plug sorry-not-sorry). So, when he was allowed back into the royal ranks, he began basically being everyone's royal babysitter when he wasn't listening in on Fairy Council meetings. That's where someone proposed for him to be a teacher, to which he took up the offer.

History has a tendency to be kinda skewed in the Glade, often neglecting the stuff predating Rayman and the rise of the Limbless race along with every other group in the Glade. Stuff that FK went through first-hand. He was not really vibing with the lack of diversity in the schooling.

As the magic school's history teacher, he always makes an effort to share all kind of history, not just Rayman's. This consists of every kind of creature in the Glade and of course his own. He even talks about the fairies as "kids" on occasion too. He is very well-liked amongst his students of all ages. Also, he doesn't give homework and does live-acting demonstrations of certain events with crazy swordsmanship, so bonus points there.

Many adults were wary about what they thought to be a nightmare teaching their kids but grew to appreciate him more b/c of his old-school "fuck around and find out" methods of teaching and discipline. Kids got better when in his class, which was something not that seen prior to him.

And in the background, he tutors students that show an interest in hand-to-hand combat. He loves seeing younger people actually using sharp weapons and learning the powerful method of channeling magic. He's an actually good PE teacher, I always thought those weren't real

Today's my 19th birthday, and I've finally come around to finishing up on my gift for @romeoeatzkorn for the Secret Santa Ray event!

Here's Rayman and Barbara fighting some Livingstones and Anti-toons! I tried to implement their Origins designs and their original designs because I thought it'd be cool if they came together like that. To make it even more like Christmas, I had them fighting outside in the snow over some presents that Rayman and Barbara were taking to give to their friends! So yup!
