I'm all "I don't understand fan sequel games/romhacks" until I play rayman 3 for the GBA and deeply wish they'd made more using its specific engine

Since it's been mentioned a couple times in the tags that the Rabbids were indeed bullied, I might as well provide the actual context.
So Ly the Fairy is in Rayman Raving Rabbids for the GBA. Raving Rabbids GBA is a wonderful (if heavily overlooked) piece of Rayman history because it contains a lot of remnants of one of the versions of Rayman 4 and, since it's more serious than its console counterparts, tells the Rabbids backstory within gameplay rather than just dropping a line of text in the manual. Its status in the canon is a bit in question but Rayman lore is just Like That, unfortunately.
But yeah, damn. Strapping creatures to rockets seems a bit harsh. That never happens in Rayma-

Dude nobody really talks ab Rayman Raving Rabbids but I think ab it all the time. I've played the GBA, DS and Wii versions of it (which are all DRASTICALLY different btw?) But they all have the same concept of the Rabbids get hold of The Guy and keep him prisoner for whatever reason
And like... the concept itself is a little dark ESPECIALLY in the Wii game with that big ass stadium

I always considered the GBA Raving Rabbids game to be the canon version that occurred. So Rayman was captured but he quickly escaped and defeated the rabbids and ended their whole invasion.
Which leads to Raving Rabbids 2 where the Rabbids decide to invade earth instead and soon they decide to stay there which leads to Rabbids Go Home.
I always found it funny how he can fly and has a grappling hook yet never used it in the console Raving Rabbids story mode.
I like your timeline ^^, the truth is that it is very true that it is somewhat funny that Rayman was not a little smarter xddddddd, but as they say, if you see some of those details, a magician did it xd.

Here is a Question for you and it also brings us back to Rayman Raving Rabbids, namely a very cool machine:
Pink!
To the left: His prototype version for the Rayman 4 early version that would be somewhat used in the GBA version for RRR, but without that spider-machine and his left eye has a eye patch. To the right his Wii version without the Pink fur
He is machine Rabbid you meet in the Rayman Raving Rabbids version for Wii and GBA! Let us start with his first entry:
He appeared in Rayman Raving Rabbids first on GBA, where the sad Origin Story is mentioned. You encouter him on your escape from the Rabbid's hideout, the Dark World, which is unsuprisingly the final world you visit, a dark and gloomy undergroud, serving as their home after they were driven out from the Glade of Dreams due to bullying!
Before you could free Ly the fairie, you meet him as your first boss, he summons a Giant Mecha Anti-Toon (does this sound familiar?) and let it loose on Rayman, who defeats it, afterwards he smashes his control device and Rayman runs away...thus we never see Pink ever again!!!
In Rayman Raving Rabbids you have to fight him some times in the arena in all the Plunger shooter games, where he creates a barrier that makes him immune to Damage, safe for his own rockets he throws at you. You see, he is actually very timid and mute, he can only say "Hey Mate, what's up" by launching heat-seeking missiles at you...which he does constantly, so he always says to you "Hay Mate, What's up" repeatedly...he needs professional help...
What do you think of him? Could he join our crew and help the heroes against any of Cursa's evil? What would Edge think of him, namely that he like Sergeui also worked for the Rabbids Army back then and what would the other Rabbids think of this fellow? Would Beep-0 and Jeanie help him to speak more sentence rather than his uniquely pronounced sentence? Well Kanya would get jelly for obvious reasons and Momma might help him, he is after all a Machine...
So should we accept him or not? Rayman might be on board, given that he loves Rabbids now and can settle old grudges...he after all beat Pink in the arena, so if he went rogue, he knows how to deal with him!
I hope he is a good guy and will help us dealing with evil forces from on now!!!
What do you say? Friend or Foe?
I have heard of this guy before yes. as for being friend or foe. I kinda have some mixed emotions with that.
personally i do see him as a villain since, well he is in the Rayman games. but there could be a silver lining to that.
this could be my lack of knowledge for Rayman talking, but if Pink is meant to be a slightly sentient robot. then it's possible to reprogram him into joining the crew. and since he's able to summon mecha's that are similar to Kanya's mecha's, maybe taking down Cursa would be slightly easier.
i'm pretty sure everyone would be pretty confused at first since they've never really met a robot of their race before, because they were never part of the Rabbid army. even wondering who created this little guy in the first place.
obviously Momma would be the one to tinker with Pink's currents, maybe even giving him some new upgrade's while she's at it.
if Beep-O and Jeanie do teach him to talk, i like to imagine that he would sound like either Kaos from Skylander's or Angel Dust from Hazbin Hotel
and i don't think Kanya would be jealous. considering she failed twice to kill the heroes, she need's more improvement's on her mecha's, and Pink is the perfect being to go to in order from said improvement's to happen. she would defiantly try to take him and have him help her work on her mecha's.
and as for Rayman, that's going to be complicated. Rayman would not trust this guy since there were times were he almost killed him. it's going to be a long process for Rayman to trust Pink. considering that he's actually starting to understand the Rabbids mores when he realized that not all Rabbids were bad.
......but since Pink is a robot.......
i do think Pink could be considered a friend, but you know a lot more about him than i do. so i'll leave that up to you.
this is what i personally think tho :)

Something I've noticed with Rayman is that he's one of those heroes that is often getting captured somehow and some of those times he NEEDS the help of his friends to free himself. He's a hero that tries his best to help others but is not immune to either needing help himself, or that help never comes and he has to work hard to try to free himself.
Times Rayman has been captured in order (at least to my knowledge):
1. Rayman 2. When the pirates destroyed the heart of the world, it robbed Rayman of all his powers which left him an easy target for them to capture him. Globox got himself captured so he could smuggle a silver lum from Ly to him. He was able to escape with his help.
2. Rayman vs Cullcut. This was a flash game you could play on your internet browser that released around the same time as Rayman M. It was a french exclusive typing game where Rayman was at risk of being eaten by one of the robots the pirates used to make canned food. The game ends and your score counted if Rayman's cage is lowered enough for cullcut to get him. He would also have to watch Razorwife usher crying baby globoxes to also be consumed by Cullcut. Pretty dark if you ask me.
3. Rayman 3. On Rayman's quest to purge Andre from Globox's stomach, his adventures take him to the desert of the knaarens. While trying to locate Globox after he was captured by the creatures, Rayman was soon captured by them as well. He was caged then sent to the arena where he was forced to fight Reflux. Rayman was released and was made a friend to the knaaren people when he defeated their champion.
4. Rayman Raving Rabbids (Original Console Version). Rayman was captured by Serguei and was locked in a cell. He was forced to perform at their arena and was rewarded with plungers and sometimes won the freedom of the captured baby globoxes. He had to collect enough plungers to reach a window in his cell and managed to escape with enough time, effort, and a whole lot of patience.
5. Rayman Raving Rabbids (Gameboy Advance Version). The Gameboy advance version was a completely unique experience to the raving rabbids series of games with a completely different storyline that was the most faithful to the old prototype. Rayman was captured by the rabbids, locked in a cell, and they took his hands so he couldn't fight back. He was completely helpless. Murfy was the one who went in and rescued him by busting through wooden planks on the bottom of Rayman's cell. He helped Rayman locate his hands and guided him out of the base to reunite with Ly after rescuing their friends.
6. Rayman Raving Rabbids (DS version). Once again captured by rabbids while he was just minding his own business. forced to run obstacle courses in a colosseum to win enough trophies that would allow him to fight "Rabble Droid" and earn his freedom. Rabble droid being a boss version of Serguei.
7. Rayman Origins. While enjoying a nice nap with his friends, little did Rayman know that their snores were being sent through a microphone to the land of the livid dead. The Grannies, fed up with all the noise, would retaliate and start to capture the electoons, Rayman, and his friends. This would also drive Polokus temporarily mad and the glade began to disintegrate. Rayman was caged, but managed to free himself rather quickly.
#Rayman#Rayman Lore#Apparently Ubisoft had delved into internet browser flash games at one point in the past#and a few of them were rather dark#Rayman vs Cullcut being one of those#The GBA version of Raving Rabbids revealed that certain Rabbids are capable of speech that Rayman can comprehend#But I guess they didn't want to recognize it's existence#I'm looking at you Mario Rabbids Sparks of hope Rayman and the Phantom Show DLC#GBA Raving Rabbids also proved that some of the Rabbids were pretty smart.

I always head canon that both Raving Rabbids and the GBA Raving Rabbids both occur timeline wise. Like the GBA Rabbids game takes place immediately after Rayman escapes. Just seems to make the most sense to me
Ooh! Yea I like that hc a lot.

To be fair they were like 3 kids out of the 600 globose has.
I just assumed he rescued them offscreen. Granted Raving Rabbids is already weird and inconsistent in many ways I mean the GBA and DS games of it are completely different those were a platformer where by the end Rayman seems to just get rid of all the rabbids somehow.
I headcanon most of the Rabbids by Raving Rabbids 2 moved to Earth cause it鈥檚 much more easier and they wouldn鈥檛 have to deal with Rayman
.

I always love Ly and i really care much about her, although she's a fictional character that doesn't exist, i still love her because she's my favorite fairy girl all the time, i enjoy drawing pics of her countless times.
What i really don't want to know, is that i played R2 on the N64 emulator about nine years ago, but i really don't wanna talk about it because of my mental scars.
I instead played Rayman 3 and Raving Rabbids handhelds on the GBA emulator about eight years ago, where i can see Ly appearing two of them. But it so sad that she only appeared in one game, even though she was in the two handheld ports, so she appeared three times (also her statues on Rayman Arena and Hoodlum Havoc does NOT count). I think she's a bit neglected and hurt, she needs a hug too!
So, why is everybody losing interest on her and why she is so forgotten like the others that are never seen again? I don't know why, but some fans that don't like her are very ungrateful themselves, so ridiculous of treating her like trash, disgusts me (but i understand a little bit).
I personally blame that stupid company Ubisoft because of the goddamn pathetic rabbids, i'm sick of it and i'll rather imagine her returning in a new rayman game, but yet it's just another day of her in the paradise. If only any of you Ly fans should've cared for her like me.
