Shadow and Legend had been taking turns howling at each other for the past five minutes, each attempting to declare their love for their partners in the only way they knew.

Namely, brute force and attempting to be louder than the other.

The rest of the Chain had quickly vacated the room as the shade and hylian’s argument began to heat up, leaving the fighters and their respective partners the only ones in Legend’s house.

“With Ravioli, I can make as many pasta puns as I like! There’s no good puns for ‘Vidow’” Legend fumed.

“You’re both too saccharine,” Shadow sneered. “Where’s the spice? Where’s the banter?”

Legend snapped. “Oh, I’ll show you spice!” he roared, tackling the shade to the ground and dodging the flying fists now aimed at him from below.

Meanwhile, on the couch, Vio and Ravio watched with bemusement and potions at the ready for when their partners were through with their brawl.

“Ravioli?” Vio asked, lifting his wineglass in invitation.

“Vidow!” Ravio responded cheerfully, clinking his glass against Vio’s.
