Inspiriert by one of my other posts but a shadow and four version of this:

Because four's relationship somehow can look even worse than Ravio x Legend can ever be imagined as

Like four is the bad guy of the relationship if we use the same logic of creative explaining while completely changing the context and shadow is not that much better

Like four just straight up telling an abridged version of his relationship (both platonic and romantic can work because it is messed up beyond repair)

And not realizing that it sounds messed up from such a basic and underexplained perspective

Like he tried to kill his partner

But then he realized how naive he was he decided to manipulate him and gain his trust

Then he attacked him with a deadly weapon (when the four swords hit shadow)

Because he betrayed him and had no use for him anymore because he told him everything he wanted to know

Then his ex(friend but the chain doesn’t need to know) flipped out and tried to burn him in a messed up witch burning way

But he managed to save himself

While his ex attempted a murder suicide attempt (destroying the mirror was a literal murder suicide)

Killing another person alongside himself (Both Vaati and shadow died)

And that was the moment when four realized that he was a bad person and used dark magic to bring him back to life (violating several rules of nature and morality at once)

Then after a few years managed to bring his ex back

And tried everything to fix what he did by giving him absolutely anything he could want (including committing crime together and expensive gifts and literally anything shadow wants)

Then left him (linked universe happenes)

The chain is contemplating hitting him because that is definitely a disturbing situation that has no right happening but also he seems to regret everything he did and seems to try and fix it (but they will be at odds for a while)

When they finally appear at his Hyrule shadow accidentally makes everything worse by saying things like :

He doesn’t let me out the basement during the day

He killed my father figure (Vaati)

He is a wanted criminal who has enough bounty on his head to be executed for it

And that he is much happier now that he actually tries to make the relationship work better

Someone asked on my Hyrule Warriors x Linked Universe fic where the Links were in their adventure(s) when they joined the War of Eras, so here you guys go!!

Anyways, here we go!

Sky- He’s around the middle of his adventure when he was transported. He’s trying to save Zelda while avoiding Ghirahim like he was a disease. But seeing that Ghirahim’s here helps ease his anxiety about Zelda.

Four- Very end of his adventure. Vaati and Shadow are long dead.

Time/Mask- He’s a kid in Hyrule Warriors, so around the middle of OoT/MM.

Wind/Tune- People usually portray Wind as being older in Hyrule Warriors, so I guess he’s at the very end of his adventure!

Legend- Also the very end of his adventures. He knows that Hyrule is his predecessor and will recognize Ravio (much to his displeasure).

Hyrule- the very start of his adventure, just when things were starting to get bad. This makes him extremely paranoid and anxious.

Twilight- The very end of his adventure. He remembers Midna sacrificing herself, and then he woke up here.

Wild- the very beginning of BOTW. Just as he left the Great Plateau. So he’s a big mess right now.

Warriors- the middle of his campaign. So he and Cia are still very much enemies and want nothing more than to destroy each other.

Spirit- beginning of his adventure with Phantom :)

Four swords x precure headcannons

The name is rainbow courage precure, because 5/7 cures are links and 6/7 represent a different colour.

The little transformation trinkets are their phones, they have a little indents for the courage charms to be put in, and the charms are created when you really act like the emmisary of that colour.

Vio and Red are brothers, Green and Blue are brothers, Erune is reds cousin, Zelda is the principles daughter and Shadow is the son of two past cures.

Red is red, which represents passion, made when his passion for helping others resonates with Green and Blue.

Zelda is orange, which represents justice, made when she saw what had happened to Shadow, and was still happening, and wanted to do something to stop it.

Erune is yellow, representing happiness, made when she cheers the others on and encouraged the other bystanders to do so as well.

Green is green, representing courage, made when he knew he couldnt do much as he was, but still jumped in to protect Red when he was going to get hurt.

Blue is blue, representing strength, made when he was more than willing to fight to protect the school and everyone in it.

Vio and shadow are purple(i will explain), representing wisdom, repaired when Shadow's street smarts and Vio's book knowledge helped Red, Green and Blue over come a very powerful adversary.

Shadow is also a prince, because i like that hc.

Shadow, as a villain, represented black, he never really knew why, until he got snagged by a purifying attack(dont know who's, but im leaning towards green) and his charm temporarily went purple. After he switched to good, he remembered his past as a child, creating a fragment of his charm at a very young age(5), it was purple, after he figured out what was making the maids in the castle unwell. His parents, King Ravio and Queen Hilda, as past cures, were very proud, but later that night Demise lured him out into the gardens with magic in order to kidnap him, lending shadow some to show him what it could do. Hilda tries to stop him but gets hurt, causing Shadow to try and escape, then a huge wave of dark magic overpowered him and forced him to go with Demise, turn evil and forget everything that happened up until that point. He spends 7 of his 12 years under Demise's full control, from 5-12.

Vaati, while not the main villain(thats Demise), is the head of the branch of villains in the general area where the au is set. The main cast all attend the same school, Shadow was just there at first to gather information as a mostly homeschooled student who borrowed the facilities on thursdays, but transferred full time after he left Demise's cause. They also have dorms. Red, Green and Blue share a 3, at first it was a 4 with Vio, but Vio and Shadow now share a 2 after Shadow transferred and didnt want to be alone, and Erune and Zelda also share a 2.

Erune is the first victim of the week, after being saved she learns the boys identities and helps them with evacuating and stuff before she officially joins.

Vio joins Vaati to act as a double agent, since Shadow ever so kindly told him his brother is trying to stop him and will get hurt. He gets caught and creates his first courage charm by using his noggin to break out, but Vaati catches him and drains the colour from his charm, putting Vio effectively under his control. During this, Vio represents white, which is blankness.

After Vio and Shadow return to normal, Vaati takes out his anger on them by breaking their courage charms. Though it doesnt do much for long as they fuse together their charms and they use them together.

For those of you who don’t know, demonbound sheikah is a Vaati x sheik/Zelda fic. Soulbound Princess is the sequel. It’s played with my heart so many times I’m dehydrated from crying too much. If you read asphodel - which is a vaati x zelda modern au fic - the author for theses two stories are none other than the goddess, @thewishingcap. Please please go check it out. I promise you won’t be disappointed (it’s a good way to pass the time since I have no clue when I’ll be updating again)

Now allow me to explain the impulse picture you see above. From top to bottom it goes, Hilda from “A link between worlds”, Zelda from “A link between worlds”, Vaati from “four swords”, Shadow Link from “four swords”, and Ravio from “A link between worlds”. The last character at the very bottom is an OC of mine. Her name is Raven, and she is a servant under Vaati (she can turn into a raven. Pretty cool, right?) I made this OC while reading Demonbound, so I decided to include her in this fanart.

@thewishingcap, if you see this (which I hope you do considering I’ve tagged you twice just to make sure XD) 1. I’m sorry for being so late to these stories. I almost missed out, and I’m glad I didn’t. The way you write is so unique and it literally brings me to tears because I just get so happy while reading your work.

2. I was wondering if you have a oneshot that will show us (me) what happened right after soulbound ended (if you need me to specify, pm me)

3. …….. Where’s mah asphodel? Like, I know you’re a busy person with a cool ass fish, but I’ll have to read soulbound again, and I cried too much the first time. (But seriously, take your time. No serious need to rush)

A Work In Progress For My Hyrule Warriors x Linked Universe Fanfic (Character List) :)

Lemme know what you think, and put your thoughts below! Basically, all the heroes were dropped off in the middle of Warriors' era for their first meeting. Who will they trust? And how much blood will be spilled?

“Heroes”

Warriors- The general of the Hyrule troops. He is also the first to meet with all the new Links brought by Hylia.

Mask(Time)- The first Link that appeared in the war. He stays in his child form except in dire situations.

Tune(Wind)- The second Link to appear, joining with Tetra. The two of them will take a bit to adjust to solid ground and not endless waves.

Spirit (Toon Link)- Appeared soon after Tune with Phantom. All four know they’re relatives, but keep it on the down low. For now, both Tune and Spirit are around the same age.

Sky- Fi personally introduced Sky to the rest of the heroes, having vanished in the middle of the night once she sensed his presence. Sky suffers from breathing problems and is mostly kept on the backlines as a last resort.

Artemis/Sheik- The ruler over Hyrule, and is regarded as the main general (with Warriors as her backup). She only dresses as Sheik for recon missions, or if she wants to get away from everyone.

Tetra- She uses her guns for range, providing covering fire for the troops. She is also a powerful sword wielder. She also is the best at controlling ships and loves water-based missions.

Phantom (Toon Zelda)- One of the many powerhouses in the troops due to her possessive abilities. Although many people can see her, hitting her is a different story. She has gotten very good at dodging while she’s separated from her body.

Linkle- Due to her clumsiness and lack of directions, Linkle is barely on the battlefield except if the fight is close to the main base. She is used mostly to gather supplies and teach less experienced troops how to fire crossbows.

Impa- She trains all new troops and is a close friend of Artemis. She is also a massive powerhouse.

Lana- A powerful sorcerer and healer. Due to her and Cia’s unique circumstances, she is mostly used as a healer and support, helping those who suffer wounds during battles.

Four- Cia was able to manipulate Four to her side by promising to revive Shadow. They only joined after seeing Vaati’s revival with their own eyes. Nobody knows about the Colors (besides Vaati, but the sorcerer is keeping it a secret).

Wild- With his shattered memories, Cia was easily able to convince Wild that the heroes were the bad guys in the situation, saying that they were the reason why he was brought here and away from his era. Wild is a soldier at heart and dutifully follows the orders of the person who helped him first, Cia.  

Hyrule- Hyrule, in a new era filled with bloodshed and violence, was reduced to his paranoid and aggressive behavior from his past. He lashes out like a wild animal, yet will retreat as soon as a drop of his blood is spilled. Only Cia and Ganondorf know about the magical abilities of his blood and will collect it to heal/revive those who fall in battle. The only reason why he stays with the villains is due to Cia’s kindness towards him. Is it manipulation? Or does she have a soft spot for the hero?

Legend- Legend is not trustful of anyone besides Hyrule, who he knows is his predecessor. He stays with the villains just to keep an eye on the other. He doesn’t trust the other villains, but he also doesn’t trust the heroes. They’re all suspicious in his eyes.
