As the last credits roll and the people of Raven’s Peak begin to pack up from a night out at the White Willow Winery, the fog that has been lingering around the edges of town has fully rolled in. The towns folk awaken to see a thickness blanketing the town, making it hard to see in front of them. Businesses and schools are closed, deeming it too risky to try and find their way through the town. Some brave people have tried to make their way through the dense fog, stumbling blindly towards what was thought to be the center of town. Instead, they found themselves on the edge of the Stygian forest.
A few members successfully found their way back to town, walking into the police station and telling stories of things found in the fog. Human like creatures who seemed almost other worldly with their beauty. Some seemed to be carrying lanterns in front of them and they moved easily through the fog, ignoring the searchers who stood lost and confused.
It is advised that the town folks stay inside, and wait for the fog to clear, but not everyone listens. Especially once news starts spreading about the creatures from the forest. Soon, the lanterns can be seen emerging from the fog, lining the streets. The creatures move through it with ease, seemingly unaffected.
Though those that were walking through posed no threat to town, there were a few still lingering in the forest. Watching. Waiting. For something had forced the fairies out of their realm and into ours.
And the fae weren't sure they were safe here in Raven's Peak.
Tumblr media
Now that the fog has fully blanketed Raven's Peak following the movies beneath the stars at the White Willow Winery, we have opened up a new species that can be applied for! Please feel free to read up on our new fae friends, and consider applying for one.

Presenting the established werewolf packs and witch covens of Raven's Peak! The werewolf and witch pages have been updated with this information. Feel free to have your character be a part of these groups as you so choose. If you would like your pack or coven to be included on these pages, please reach out to the admins! Additionally if you are interested in your character being an alpha or coven leader, give us a holler as well!
The Eclipse Pack stands as a venerable pillar of strength in Raven’s Peak. For generations, they have woven their legacy into the fabric of the community, embodying a deep loyalty to one another and to the traditions that bind them. Known for their unwavering support and the fierce protection of their kin, the Eclipse Pack is composed of numerous werewolf families that have called Raven’s Peak home for centuries. However, they are protective of their histories and ways of living and aren’t welcoming to just any wolf who wants to join a pack. The pack was started by the Moretti family who sought strength even in the darkest of days, and includes families who have been proven loyal to their cause. The Mistborn Pack thrives as a sanctuary for lone wolves seeking a place to belong. Embracing the art of unity and kinship, they specialize in bringing together those who wander alone, transforming solitude into a strong, supportive family. The Mistborn Pack’s ethos revolves around forging deep connections and fostering a sense of belonging amidst the fog. Their members, bound by shared experiences and mutual respect, create a haven where individuality is celebrated and collective strength is nurtured. Whether you’re a lone wolf looking for camaraderie or a wandering spirit seeking a new home, the Mistborn Pack offers a refuge where you can find your place and thrive together.
The Hallowed Circle Coven dedicates itself to the noble pursuit of magic for the betterment of society. This esteemed coven wields their mystical arts with a singular mission: to uplift, heal, and transform the world around them. Specializing in benevolent enchantments and transformative rituals, they channel their power into initiatives that foster community, inspire positive change, and nurture the environment. Committed to the greater good, the Hallowed Circle Coven invites those who share their vision of a brighter, more harmonious world to join their ranks, working together to weave spells of compassion and progress into the very fabric of everyday life. Once a revered beacon of light and virtue, the Shrouded Peak Coven has evolved into a realm of shadowed intrigue. Originally founded on principles of healing and positive magic, the coven’s path has taken a darker turn as its members increasingly explore the depths of forbidden and enigmatic arts. This shift from their benevolent beginnings has introduced a complex blend of light and darkness into their practices, creating an atmosphere of both allure and unease. While they continue to hold onto fragments of their original ideals, Shrouded Peak now navigates the treacherous waters of their newfound powers, attracting those drawn to the mystery of the arcane and the allure of magic that skirts the edges of moral ambiguity.

Friends, family, countrymen-- lend us your ears eyes!
After everything that the people of Raven’s Peak have had to endure as of late, everyone is deserving of a chance to come together as a community to relax, have fun, and try and forget about all of their troubles, even if only just for one night.
That’s why Victor Morgrave has invited every citizen to The White Willow Winery to enjoy a night of “Movies Beneath The Stars”, a special event being brought to you in collaboration with Wyndham Lucas Enterprises! The night will feature four feature-length presentations under the star-filled sky (even if that ominous fog might make said sky a little hard to see) with family friendly and adult oriented screenings being shown on opposite sides of the property. What films will be shown will be determined by the people of Raven’s Peak by voting on options from a list which will be made available in the days leading up to the event.
But even if watching movies isn’t really your thing, fear not, as while the screenings are taking place, guests will be welcome to come inside the winery to enjoy free food, refreshments, music, dancing, and, if they so desire, conversation. Come on out and help this to be the first step back towards normalcy; or at least, as normal as things can ever be in Raven’s Peak!
OUT OF CHARACTER NTK
This mini-event is an outdoor movie night which is being hosted by Victor Morgrave at his White Willow Winery, intended to help raise town morale after everything that the townspeople have been through recently.
In character, it will be on a Saturday night, and every person in the town of Raven’s Peak is welcome to attend, if they choose to do so. Out of character, this event will run from Thursday August 22nd at 6 PM EST until Monday August 26th at 11:59 PM EST.
Dusto will be posting two polls in the polls channel of the discord to vote on which movies will be shown for both the "family friendly" options and the "adult oriented" options, with whichever two get the most votes for each being the ones that will be chosen in back to back double features.

The ground cracked and crumbled in on itself, somewhere far back in the denseness of the Stygian woods. While the residents of Raven's Peak remained blissfully unaware, the forest floor continued to cave in on itself, swallowing whole trees that have been there for centuries and an entire ecosystem of life, until it reached a daunting length three buses wide. Its depth unknown, what was once there is now dark nothingness.
A mere chance of fate and curious trick of nature, yet one that has been taken advantage of by certain creatures that weren't meant to see the surface or the light of day again.
Raven's Peak has come to see some odd happenings as of late! Bouts of bad luck… More instances of fighting… People behaving in ways they never have before… Disappearances. Not to mention, there's been an awful rotten egg stench swarming around the place lately, too, and none of the plumbers can truly say where it's coming from. All anyone knows is, something is up.
Indeed, they are right to be on alert. Strange wisps of smoke-like entities have flown up from that sinkhole in the forest. Humanoid figures have crawled their way out from its sides. Some texts would harken these creatures as demons, poor souls once doomed to live out their torturous eternity in the fiery pits of hell. And yet, a few of these ill-intentioned tricksters have now made their escape and descended upon the nearby town.
Why? For what? Did they ever need a real reason? It's simply in their nature. And the townspeople of Raven's Peak are surely about to find the delicate strain of peace that much harder to cultivate when demons have come to mess it all up...
TLDR; As we open our doors, we've decided to kick start things with a minor plot drop of introducing demons as another species you can apply with! Nasty, tricky little things hellbent on stirring up the already delicate balance of harmony between the locals, because what's life without a little drama, right?! Keep your eyes peeled, though-- they won't be the only ones coming... *cue intense theme music*

As night turns to day and the first signs of sunlight begin to peak over the horizon, Raven's Peak is filled with a misty haze of confusion and destruction. Through tireless efforts of the Originals, hunters (though most wouldn't come outright and claim to be), and any other brave souls who learned the ways of dispatching the demons one way or the other, the possessed were lured and trapped within devil's traps painted onto the ground throughout town. Exorcisms were recorded and blasted through speakers downtown or spoken in unison by those who knew enough Latin to perform them in person. One by one it seemed as if the rampaging demons were cast back from whence they came.
The smoke in the air had diminished, now only leaving behind charred remains and some still burning embers where Midnight Mirage had once stood proud. Many other businesses nearby suffered damages in the chaos as well, including Jukebox Junction, Witches Brew, and Herb & Spice Apothecary. Teams were deployed of emergency personnel and volunteers alike to clear the roadblocks and begun restoring Raven's Peak to what it once was.
By dawn, all was quiet as people returned home to their loved ones and questioned if the night's events really had unfolded.
But even more strange, the sinkhole in the Stygian Woods seemed to have closed in on itself, the only evidence of it having once been there being a deep crater left behind. And a thick fog has begun rolling in, growing thicker the further you wander through the trees.
Be careful, wanderer. Don't get lost in the fog. And keep in mind, demons can look just like you and me, blending in with the general population. While many of the creatures were banished back to Hell, there may still be some citizens lurking about who are not as they seem...
Tumblr media
This concludes our Hell is Here event! Things to note in the aftermath:
Several of the businesses downtown are undergoing renovations and rebuilding. Help needed!
Midnight Mirage is closed for the foreseeable future, but plans are in the works to restore the lounge club in time.
One may notice painted devil's traps throughout town. Most are broken at this point, but it may be possible an unsuspecting demon might find themselves in a predicament should they stumble into one unawares that hasn't been broken by the elements.
The local tattoo shop, Black Rabbit Tattoos, is offering a discount on anti-possession tattoos! Those interested should inquire within.
As the town rebuilds, the smell of sulfur that seemed to be infused in just about everything following the chaotic night has slowly started leeching from the environment. Instead, citizens of Raven's Peak may notice a fog pouring into town, most notable in the early mornings.
The sink hole in the Stygian Woods has seemingly closed up, leaving a crater behind. Still, it is ill advised to get too close.

When the sun settles beyond the horizon and the moon and stars rise, unthinkable horror grips Raven's Peak. Malevolent forces stir within the ancient Stygian Woodlands, and reports flood in of demon smokes emerging from a long-forgotten pit, wreaking havoc and spreading terror throughout the once-tranquil forest.
They descend upon the celebration, possessing the dancers and other party goers alike, causing shrieks of fear and confusion to cut through the music.
An explosion is heard from the rear of Midnight Mirage, where glass windows shatter and smoke and flame billow up from the building. At Jukebox Junction, drunken patrons start looting the bar, smashing bottles of liquor and overturning tables. The Sheriff's department and fire department are both, mysteriously, cut off from the town center by massive roadblocks that seemingly appear out of nowhere, making it impossible for emergency vehicles to navigate and provide help until the roadblocks are cleared.
Hell is Here.
Welcome to part II of the Hell is Here demons plot drop event! This event will take place on one weekend in game (July 13th and 14th), starting with the festivities of Raven's Peak summer festival and concluding on one chaotic, demon fueled night. By first signs of morning sunlight Monday morning it will seem as if everyone has returned to normal, except for all of the damage left in the wake of the chaos, seeming coated in a layer of sulfur.
Feel free to write starters for the festival itself as well as through the demonic events of the night. Don't feel like you have to only use the aforementioned scenarios, you're welcome to expand and create your own situations! If your ideas include any significant injuries or damage to the town, please pass it by an admin so that we're in the know.
We are posting this event a little early so that everyone is able to begin planning what they want to do with the event and start plotting with one another on threads! You can start posting starters for the event starting July 13th at 11AM EST.
Out of character, this event will run from July 13th through July 31st. During this time, please only post starters (closed or open) related to the festival and demon plot drop. Please tag all open starters with #ravenshellishere. Feel free to continue prior threads as you wish as well!
Demons who are in play will experience a pull to join in on the chaos and destruction, but it is up to the player to decide how this impacts your character and the decisions they make.
You may choose if your character is temporarily possessed by a demon during the event.

BIOGRAPHY
TRIGGER WARNING: death mention tw
The years before the curse turned his family into werewolves weren’t as bad as Atlas liked to make them out to be. He was the middle child, the eldest son. The expectations that came with being the eldest son were what gave him purpose. Atlas did what he was told, he took a wife, he fathered children, and he provided for his family the best way he could. He was a respectable man, a good husband and father. His life, for the most part, was everything he could’ve wanted it to be.
The day the stone had cracked into four jagged pieces had changed everything. The magic that had once flowed through his fingertips was gone, leaving a feeling of nothingness in its wake. It was a feeling that took not years but decades, to get used to. And even then, it just wasn’t the same. Though, with each full moon that came, Atlas was reminded that even though he was no longer a witch, he wasn’t human. Not only that, with each year that passed, he didn’t age, staying locked in time for more years than he cared to count watching as the woman he loved and the children he raised grew up, lived their lives, and died. It was the worst heartbreak he could’ve imagined, and once the family he had helped create were gone, Atlas knew he needed to put as much distance between him and Raven’s Peak as he could.
Though he stayed away from his hometown for the most part, Atlas would return every few decades to check on things. He had a home there, and his family was buried there, so no matter how hard he tried, he knew he would always be tied to the place. On the occasions he would return to Raven’s Peak, he would meet up with his sisters, knowing it was important to catch up with them whenever he could. They had always been close, and no amount of distance could ever truly separate them.
Atlas spends most of his time travelling the world, seeing the sights others could only dream of. But, as of late, he’s felt something pulling him to go home again, something he can’t explain. So, that’s exactly what he’s done. Coming home with no real idea of how long he’s staying feels strange, but he knows there must be a reason for it.

BIOGRAPHY
TRIGGER WARNING: Childhood abuse, Murder, Death Camila thought she had a boring life.  She lived in a little town in the middle of nowhere with no one but her parents and her twin sister.  Now to most people it would make sense if the two sisters would be close but that couldn’t be farther from the truth.  Their parents were cruel and pitted the two against each other often.  Camila would do anything to be perfect in her parents’ eyes even if it meant dragging Rosita down so she could get to the top.  She tried to be the best in all her studies of both academic and arcane subjects.  The only friends she had were the books she had and the librarians she was allowed to talk to on the rare occasions her parents let her out of the house.
While Camila was obedient and quiet Rosita was rebellious and curious, and Camila had to admit that she was jealous of her sister.  She wished she could just be as carefree about their parents’ opinion, but Camila was scared to make one wrong move.  One day Camila awoke to find Rosita had completely vanished, ran away from the only world they knew, and Camila was heartbroken.  Sure, the two had their differences but Camila never thought that she would be left behind with their parents.  As time went on their parents took out all their frustrations about Rosita running away on Camila and nothing she could do could fix their opinion of her.  But Camila stayed under her parents’ thumbs, having been told that she would get much worse punishment if she tried leaving as well.
As Camila got older her parents trusted her enough to let her out of the house more.  They thought that if they gave her slightly more freedom she wouldn’t think about running away, but they also instilled a fear of everyone else in her.  Or so they thought.  It didn’t take long for Camila to recognize the locals and stayed away from them, not wanting to have word get back to her parents.  But one day she caught the attention of someone new in town and Camila was quick to be intrigued by them.  She tried to hang out with her often and even decided to one night bring her home when Camila’s parents were out for the night.  She didn’t expect them to come home early and they found Camila with a stranger in the house and all hell broke loose. Her parents were furious and threatened to kill Kodi but in the end it was them that were lying dead on the floor.  Camila was in shock and Kodi revealed why she was actually in town; sure Camila knew they were far from typical witches but family was supposed to stand by each other right?
Kodi worked fast to clear the scene, but it became clear to Camila incredibly fast that there was nowhere to go for her.  So when Kodi suggested running away with her she was quick to agree.  After all she genuinely enjoyed Kodi’s company and wanted to actually see what the outside world was like.  They traveled for a while but eventually came across Raven’s Peak.  The whole idea intrigued Camila, different species living together, but she had to admit she was skeptical of it all.  But Camila was willing to give it a try because she knew she had a lot of things she needed to unlearn.

Welcome to Raven’s Peak, Caiti, we’re excited to have you! Sean Doyle (Werewolf, Aidan Turner ) has been accepted. Please be sure to stop by the CHECKLIST for the follow list, tags to track, and other reminders.

FULL NAME: Sean Doyle SPECIES: Werewolf (bitten) – he hasn’t decided about approaching a pack as yet AGE: 41 DATE OF BIRTH: June 19th GENDER IDENTITY: Male NEIGHBORHOOD: Downtown OCCUPATION: Owner/Businessman WORKPLACE: Arcane Brewery POSITIVE TRAITS: Charismatic, intelligent, protective NEGATIVE TRAITS: Cunning, sarcastic, cynical LENGTH OF TIME IN RAVEN’S PEAK: All his life FACE CLAIM: Aidan Turner
BIOGRAPHY
TRIGGER WARNING: death mention
Born in Raven’s Peak to a family of witches sworn to the Hallowed Circle coven meant Sean Doyle had a lot of expectations on his shoulders from the moment he entered the world. His family fully believed in the coven’s mantra of ‘the greater good’ and it often meant lofty goals for the children.
Goals Sean had no desire to meet.
Yeah, okay, so he wasn’t opposed to helping people . . . but he didn’t see why he needed to devote his whole life to it. Shouldn’t they be allowed to pursue their own dreams without constantly having to make sure they checked off all the ‘greater good’ boxes? Still, he did his best to toe the line his family had drawn.
Then, when he was around 16, his older sister died in childbirth and her husband cut all contact with the Doyle family. They never even got news about the baby – whether the child survived or had died along with his sister.
She’d been one of the few who’d encouraged him to dream outside of the coven’s constraints, and Sean took her death hard. It sent him on a spiral of drinking, followed by petty thievery to pay for the alcohol when his parents cut him off from any of the family money. Instead of bringing him to heel – as they expected – he told them to fuck off and channeled his anger and talent into becoming king of the back alleys.
They disowned him, demanding he change his name.
He refused – it was his name too, damn it.
Sean Doyle became well-acquainted with the cops, in and out of holding, but they could never quite pin anything on him. Then one day, he’d made a bet with someone and started his own business – using the money he’d ‘picked up’ as seed money for a brewery.
But he proved to have a knack for it . . . and soon got himself a studio place downtown.
An old friend gave him one of those DNA tests as a joke, and Sean almost threw it away. What the hell was it going to tell him? His family was mostly gone, and the only one who’d left the Peak had died over twenty years before. All it could do was tell him that he came from Irish stock – which he already fucking knew. They pestered him, making a few bets and deals, until he’d finally agreed to do it in return for one free meal a week at The Golden Spoon for a year.
The friend agreed and Sean spit into the tube, sending it off – never expecting anything to come of it. Though he was kind of surprised to find French and German mixed into the Irish. Huh. His father must be rolling in his grave.
Though he’d approve of the brewery and its tasting room . . . a thought Sean didn’t linger over.
Still, Sean moved on with his life – enjoying that free meal every week as he walked the line between law-abiding and keeping his hand in his old trade while staying off the law’s radar. Everything seemed to be coasting, and he liked that just fine. He didn’t need any big highs or lows – just a nice steady stream of living suited him. Give him his simple apartment, food on the table, and a beer on the weekend.
Then came a night on the town with a few too many drinks, and he’d managed to end up in the Stygian woods on a full moon . . . with a really pissed off wolf.
Not that Sean had done anything to irritate it – or he didn’t think he had, given the foggy memories seen through the mists of alcoholic haze. Raven’s Peak locals knew better than to be that stupid, even at their drunkest. Whatever had happened, however, he woke up the next morning with a bite on his thigh.
And his powers had already begun to fade as the fever set in.
Over the past couple of years, he’s come to terms with his new status as a werewolf, mostly running as a loner. Though he’s not actively avoiding the packs, he’s still undecided about approaching them. He’s not totally opposed, just . . . cautious.
One day out of the blue, he received an email, followed by a handful of calls, from a girl he’d matched on that damn, half-forgotten DNA test. Now he’s got a brand-new niece in town, and she wants to know all about the family Sean despised. To add to the chaos, the Peak has managed to have all new insanity going on that even the locals aren’t familiar with.
What the hell did he do now?

Welcome to Raven’s Peak, Dani, we’re excited to have you! Elijah Grant (Werewolf (Alpha), John Krasinski) has been accepted. Please be sure to stop by the CHECKLIST for the follow list, tags to track, and other reminders.
NAME:  Me again (Dani) PRONOUNS: She/Her AGE: 29 TIMEZONE:EST TRIGGERS: Same answer as the other day
IN CHARACTER
FULL NAME: Elijah Grant SPECIES: Werewolf, Alpha of the Mistborn pack. AGE: 44 DATE OF BIRTH: Oct 20 1979 GENDER IDENTITY: Cis Het Male NEIGHBORHOOD: Hidden Hills OCCUPATION: Planning Manager WORKPLACE: Town Hall POSITIVE TRAITS: Hard working, fair, Warm Hearted. NEGATIVE TRAITS: Guarded, Neat, Workaholic LENGTH OF TIME IN RAVEN’S PEAK: 20 years FACE CLAIM: John Krasinski
BIOGRAPHY
TRIGGER WARNING: Fire, family loss
Born into a loving family, Elijah had a rather typical life growing up. He was born into a werewolf family, learned to transition normally. He took a leadership role amongst his siblings, being the oldest of 5. At 16 he found the love of his life, and a few short years later his son was born when Elijah was 18.
Elijah found a love for work. Planning city work, putting in policies, tinkering with small changes to see how things could run better. He would often spend long days working on plans, coordinating with people, and ordering supplies, but made sure he was home for his now wife and toddler.
At 23 his life changed. He could vividly remember the blaring fire truck sirens flying down the road behind him on his drive home. There weren't many people in the area he lived in, let alone his road. Pulling up to the home was another thing, seeing it engulfed in flames. The team around him had to hold him back from running into the home to save his family himself.
When the ash settled, it came with the news that his wife had passed away in the fire. There was no evidence of the then 5 year old to have passed in the fire. Elijah spent tireless days searching the area for a scent, anything to prove that he was around and he couldn't find him.
After a year of searching tirelessly, Elijah found home in a pack in Raven's Peak. It wasn't his wife and child but it'll do. Fast forward to today, Elijah is now Alpha to the pack that saved him. He runs it the way he hopes that the pack that found his son treats him. After all, Mistborn is family for anyone that needs it.
Between work, and managing the pack, the alpha keeps himself busy. It's easier for him this way to keep busy and find a sense of purpose.
