Lady Celestia (Celeste for short) Ravenhark, the youngest daughter of House Ravenhark, was the epitome of grace and sweetness when seen from the outside. With dark waves framing her porcelain face and a voice as melodious as a songbird, she charmed the nobility of Baldur's Gate effortlessly. Yet, beneath her innocent facade, a darkness lurked - the mysterious force known as the Dark Urge. Born into immense wealth, Celeste was indulged in every whim. Her family's riches afforded her the luxury of an extravagant lifestyle. She grew up believing the world was hers to command, and thus, she developed a tendency to only act if it benefited her in some way. Her chaotic good heart was often overshadowed by her spoiled nature, leading her to navigate the world with a cunning intellect and a silver tongue. She tried her best to be kind. She wanted to be kind but the whispering voice of ill will inside her head was always present. The Dark Urge, an ancient and malevolent presence, had been intertwined with the Ravenhark bloodline for generations. Celeste, too, felt its pull, a seductive whisper in the depths of her mind that urged her to embrace her darker impulses. Despite this, her innate sense of goodness fought against the Urge, resulting in a constant inner struggle. In public, Celeste played the role of the charming, sweet noblewoman to perfection. Her laughter was like tinkling bells, her smile could light up the room, and her kindness was renowned throughout Baldur's Gate. She threw herself into causes and philanthropy. However, those who dared to cross her soon discovered a different side of Lady Ravenhark - a cunning strategist who always ensured that her actions would benefit her in the end. She hated it and the guilt that came after always haunted her but it was like she couldn’t control it. One day, while exploring the ancient catacombs beneath Baldur's Gate, as she often did for solitude, Celeste stumbled upon an artifact of immense power - the Shadow Amulet. Unbeknownst to her, this amulet amplified the influence of the Dark Urge within her, making it even more challenging to resist its temptations. However, it also granted her new abilities, allowing her to harness the darkness for her own purposes. With the newfound power of the Shadow Amulet, Celeste's dual nature became even more pronounced. She continued her acts of charity and kindness, but behind closed doors, she experimented with the amulet, seeking to control the darkness within her. While traveling to learn more about this dark power she was abducted by the Nautolid Ship that brings us into the events of BG3.

He peeked over at Raven, wondering if she noticed. Then he cleared his throat, removing his sonic carefully from his pocket and zapped the padlock open.
