mini analysis/theory of r2!scott being different from r1!scott in so very many ways:

r1!scott messed up potions so bad it caused a cat-astrophe. r2!scott is literally an alchemist

THIS ONE IS A THEORY. but r2!scott having white fur and purple eyes just, idk, REEKS of albinism to me. the first thing i thought during the cast announcements was "why are you white". [disclaimer: albinism doesn't always result in red eyes, but can be purple/pale blue in real life, at least for humans iirc].

in real life, albinism does NOT mix well with the outside: lack of pigmentation = sunburn, and for animals, these pigment mutations can be a death sentence in the wild because no camouflage

and so my theory: r2!scott is a VERY indoor rat bc of this. now contrast farmer rat, who got very very bad cabin fever from being trapped in the mansion for weeks.

also, someone give r2!scott glasses or something as well bc if the albinism theory is true AND if we're going with realistic symptoms, poor eyesight is definitely one of them symptoms

pirates smp update because it is relevant:

watermunch got engaged to an npc called jeffery on pirates. the wedding had to be postponed indefinitely because martyn dropped an anvil on jeffery just after p!water said her vows. can't write her off as some random termite anymore (unstoppable force meets immovable object moment)

scott smajor now has yet another multiversal sibling, acho. i fear for what the chart may become because acho was on outsiders and i don't know enough about character relations there to tell how much the chart is gonna have to be edited

p!acho also had a canonical crush on p!owen (at the start of the smp, at least) and there was some mutual flirting there in one stream but it didn't go anywhere (grey area type, cc!owen cut all the scenes out of his yt episode and that was a damned shame). p!owen is a whole other can of worms (lots of alluded-to past relationships or implications… and also flirted with a lot of npcs)

p!acho also had something going on with another npc called the enchantress (98% "friendship" stats by the series' end, acccording to cc!acho) whom several other pirates characters had a crush on, incl. p!sausage (had a date, he and p!acho nearly had a fight about this just before the start of a server event), p!martyn (there was at minimum some flirting? need to double check), and p!krowfang (who tried and failed to flirt once in a stream)

p!krow also mistook an invitation to walk p!water down the aisle at her wedding for a proposal and later called himself "walk down the aisle zoned" so take from that what you will…

p!shelby shubble flirted with multiple npcs but i don't think she stuck around long enough for any of it to stick, so we should be fine and can skip this…?

…and then there was luanne, a patreon-submitted npc based on an affiliated artist… who flirted with p!soupforeloise (mutual flirting) and ended up sailing off with p!owen (yes, him again)

and… then… there's a whole NETWORK of interpersonal relationships that i'm too scared to even get into… with lots of spoilers… istg a good chunk of pirates was just everyone flirting with every other person and every other npc and i haven't even come CLOSE to deciphering all of that (even as a pirates archivist)

and then there was rats eloise getting with(? not watched povs yet and need to check) rats bekyamon. again, they're part of outsiders gang and i have no idea what is going on over there

Martyn also got married to and then subsequently divorced from a termite in rats! I think it was watermunch?

He also flirted with origins sneeg.

normal-type pokemon pantheon

for an introduction, how i have decided to split this up is into major deities, minor deities, major spirits, and minor spirits. i will not be creating anything in-depth in terms of the actual spirits in question, as this is not a correspondence list but rather just a loose guide for constructing a pantheon. this will involve a few concepts to get you started in working with certain pokemon, but again, it is not extensive.

in my personal belief, these spirits are standalone and evolution is completely within the pokemon universe, as opposed to our universe - however, you are free to experiment as you like, and even work with multiple pokemon of an evolutionary tree. this will also be put under a cut for length.

definitions:

the "major" deities would be equated to the legendary pokemon; the ones with more inherent strength and govern over more powerful concepts that we encounter in the universe (such as governing over the sea as opposed to water). they are less involved in our personal lives, but are still worth reaching out to.

the "minor" deities would be equated to the non-legendary, but still significantly powerful pokemon within the type. they are usually fully evolved. while they do not govern over powerful concepts such as the major deities, they are still powerful enough to be considered a deity as opposed to a spirit. there is a sense of stronger importance with minor deities than major and minor spirits. they are more involved in our personal lives than major deities, but are still less involved than major and minor spirits.

the "major" spirits would be equated with non-fully evolved pokemon, usually a middle evolution. what they govern over is less powerful than the major and minor deities, but are still stronger than the minor spirits. they are more involved in our lives than the major and minor deities, but less so than minor spirits.

the "minor" spirits would be equated with base-level pokemon. what they govern over is the least powerful of all, but are the most approachable and workable spirits to involve yourself with. they are very involved in our personal lives.

If you don't mind, what 'mons do you both have on your teams? (Or in general, if you don't consider yourselves as having proper 'teams' per say)

We both have more than a team of six. And we like to spar sometimes, to keep in shape.

My champion team from my trainer journey is Pierce the Typhlosion, Percy the Crobat, Benjamin the Jolteon, Sheila the Dragonite, Nika the Furret, and Twist the Nidoking. The others that I own are Pelly the Butterfree, Skylar the Togekiss, Ivan the Victreebel, Momo the Ambipom, her Aipom daughter Sunny, and Susan the Gyarados. Oh, and a shiny Diglett named Button.

And my sister-in-law was kind enough to let me take ownership of her Flygon's shiny son, Darren. And I guess I technically own Clover, the Gardevoir, as well, but she doesn't like to be in her ball. I forget that I actually own her.

There are a lot more in the woods that I'm close with, but those listed are the ones I'm the trainer of.

My champion team is Thunder the Feraligatr, Mini the Ampharos, Fang the Arbok, Swift the Crobat, Lucky the Ninetales, and Frenzy the Beedrill! (Don't let his name fool you, he's chill as can be! ^-^)

The others I have are Clamp the Kingler, Atta the Ratticate, and Tate the Hypno.

I also have a Gallade named Dylan, who is Clover's mate.

Oh, and my longest held partner, although I haven't owned her as long as I've known her; A Floette named Pari. She's not a battler though.
