Amla has been regarded as the sacred tree in India. It sin worshiped as the Mother Earth and is believed to nurture humankind because the fruits are very nourishing. According to Ayurveda, Amla balances all three doshas. While Amla is unusual in that it contains five out of the six tastes recognized by Ayurveda, it is most important to recognize the effects of the “virya”, or potency, and “vipaka”, or post-digestive effect.

Amla as Ayurved medicine ( Gharelu upchaar):-

1.    Sukarmeh- Night fall: - Dry Amla in Sun without seed (stone/Nucleus). Make Churan of Amla mixed with Misri double quantity.Take it for 15 days will give relief from night fall.

Dhup me sukhaye huye Amlo ke guthle rehat 10 gram churan me dugne misri milakar 250 gram tak taja jal ke sath 15 din tak lagatar sewan karne se swapandosh, sukarparmeh adhi rogo me nishchit roop se labh hota hai.

2.    Shwate pardar- Leucorrhoea (white discharge):-

Take Amla seeds 20-30 grams. Grind in mixi grinder. Boil the powder in water. Take with honey will give relief from white discharge to ladies.

(b) Grind Amla seeds mix with Misri and honey. Take three days it will give relief from white discharge to ladies.

Amla ke 20 – 30 gram bijo ko pani ke saath piskar us pani ko chan le, usme 2 chamch honey or pisi huye misri milakar pilane se swat pardar me labh hota hai.

3.    Rakat Gulam:-  Amla ke ras me kali mirch dalkar pene se rakat gulam nasht hota hai.

4.    Parmeh- (Diabetes):-

1.    Amla, hard, bahada, nagar motha, daruhaldi, devdaru en sabko saman matra me lekar yethavidhi unka kawath karke 10 se 20 gram ke matra me subhe – sham parmeh ke rogi ko pilaye.

2.    Amla, gilow , neem ke chal. Parwal ki patti ko 50 gram kki matra me sambag lekar adha litre pani me 12 ghante bhigokar phir pakaye, jab chaturash shesh rahe,kshye me 2 chamch madhu ke sath milakar din me tin bar sewan karne se pitze parmeh nasht hote hai.

5.    Pittdosh:- Amla ka ras, raswat madhu, cow ghee en sab dravo ko sambag me gotkar ki gaye ras kirya pittdosh thatha rakat vicar janet nater rog ka nash karte hai thatha timir rog wah nater patal me utpantar rogo ko bhi dur karte hai.

6.    Mutratisar:- pakka hua kela ek, amla ka ras 10 gram, madhu 4 gram, dudh 250 gram enhe ekather karke sewan karne se rog nasht hota hai.

7.    Rakat pardar:- 20 gram Amla swaras me ek gram jira churan mila kar din me do bar sewan kare.Taje Amla ke abhav me sushak amla churan 20 gram ratri me bhigokar subah or prantkal bhigokar ratri me chankar sewan kare.Pitparkop se hone wale rakat satrav me vishesh labh hota hai.
