if it isnt apparent by now, i do angle my interpretation of ratio to be a little more similar to the cn characterization, rather than strictly en. i find that i don't really vibe with the entirety of his en personality (not to say that jph doesnt do a great job, i adore him and love his performance as ratio), because the localization team has often added or changed words in his lines that detract a bit too much from his compassion and make him seem way more heartless than he is. of course, this isn't to say my interpretation is solely cn, either, because i don't play in cn and don't have enough knowledge of the subtleties in the language to understand the nuanced connotations. it's a mix of the two!
